Family Trip
Danny loved her, like a sister, a daughter or something in between, but Ellie was happy as long as he was there to take care of her. She felt protected but couldn't stay forever.
She had already explored the whole world, and as interesting as the Infinite Realms seemed in reality they didn't interest her that much. Ellie was sure she needed to go further, but she didn't know how to let Danny know. So she simply told him straight out, that the universe they were in was no longer enough for her.
Danny accepted it, and told her that there were many other universes that she could explore, he told her that Clockwork had told him about some of them. Ellie was excited, she could travel more, but for the first time she hesitated, and realized that she didn't want to travel alone.
She asked Danny if he wanted to travel with her and he gave her the flattest look in existence.
"Obviously I'm going to travel with you" he said. And that was that. No discussion, no questions asked.
They both packed a couple of backpacks as if they were going hiking and asked Clockwork. He just tossed them Dan's thermos before offering them a method of travel. Danny frowned but opened the thermos anyway and dragged Dan with them as he yelled about injustices and upset families.
They ended up in Gotham, in front of a man with a helmet and a guy dressed as a stoplight. Danny waved and asked them for a chat (he probably wanted to ask for directions) while Dan sulked in the back. Ellie looked at the architecture curiously.
Unfortunately for Danny, the stoplight guy pulled out a sword and the helmet guy pulled out a gun. They both looked tense as they looked between the three of them. Danny frowned (his green eyes glinting with annoyance) before nodding towards Ellie and Dan and disappearing.
Thus began their vacation in a world where everyone wanted to shoot them; Danny felt at home, Dan wanted to steal an exotic candy called crypto-something and Ellie was happy to explore.
Their family trip had officially begun.

I am sad.
For unrelated reasons, but I am also concerned about what The Boys universe has in store for us. So here you go some random LiMoreou headcanons, because I want to feel something.
Warnings: cheese and no real time restraints.
They for sure do that couple hand-over-the-shoulders thing. Jordan does it while in male form, and Marie sort of adopts it when they're in the girl form. Jordan might be a bit startled about it at first, maybe even will change back just to be annoying. Marie will do one better and try to tackle them into bending down.
Jordan will probably try and teach Marie combat. She would be reluctant about it, but will come to a conclusion (maybe with Emma's help) that it's just a way for them to spend time together. It would be hard not to get distracted, though.
Marie at some point will try and get in between Jordan and something that threatens them in any way, regardless of what form they are in or who is the threat. This might happen when Jordan's parents come again.
They both would adopt each other's behaviors which would include being protective over Emma. Emma would be weirded out that Jordan cares, but will find it funny how them and Marie glare at any guy or girl that looks at her wrong.
Oh, there's no spooning rules for Marie and Jordan. Every night is different. Sometimes one of them can't really breath from the intensity of an embrace.
Jordan and Marie didn't have a shoulder to cry on growing up. After some time they both will realise that they have each other. I think, in both cases they will be good in soothing a crying love, but Jordan will think about solving the problem first and will need a moment to reaccess.
For sure would try to be the clingiest of couples if someone calls them gross.
Totally would have video game nights. Marie never had a console! Jordan has soooo much to show her.
First date in an arcade. Junk food, photobooth pictures and the most cursed plushies they could win for each other.
Jordan wears a lot of staples (t-shirts, tanks, turtlenecks of one color) which will find their way into Marie's closet. Maybe fun pants will immigrate too. Jordan will come stomping to raid Marie's closet then when that black sweatshirt with a skull disappears.
They are for sure going thrifting together. A million percent.
(this is a weird one, but) Jordan knows an abysmal amount of poetry from the days of chasing wrong people. When they start randomly reciting some Shakespear sonnet to Marie, she's so scared. But when Jordan does it to startle her again, Marie actually enjoys it. Jordan isn't bummed for long, because it starts a long conversation about literature.
Marie does indulge in Property Brothes marathons. She didn't get it first, but didn't say anything. Around season 6 she would actually understand the appeal.
That would spawn an idea to just hang out in paint stores and hardware stores.
Jordan for sure can put up a shelf and stuff. Once, they pulled out a fancy drill with a battery and Marie almost swoons for real.

I feel like Warriors, for no reason what so ever, is one of those people that IMMEDIATELY jump into the Christmas spirit after halloweeen. Like the second the 31st is over, it is the lights, the candles, the ugly ass sweaters. Dont let him have song rights because all he's gonna play is Mariah Carrie's "all i want for Christmas is you" until January.
Now, TWILIGHT, on the other hand, is a Halloween FREAK. As soon as the leaves fall, he's thinking about his Halloween costume. Into the spooky season and has fought wars for Holladay rights where Time definitely broke them up.
Speaking of Time. That man is a Valintines Day, man. Hear me out, Malon got him into it by buying him chocolates O N C E and after that its the full nine yards. Romantic candles, hearts everywhere, stupid fucking pick-up lines. Hes done all of it at least once. Same with like Sky and mabye. MABYE, legend. But legend is like that bitter "im gonna be alone forever" friend who's probably thinking about Marin
Wild? I feel like he likes Thanksgiving because he can cook as much as he wants and everyone actually likes his food. Same with Hyrule and Wind but thats because hyrule can probably eat as much as he wants (i whole heartily beleve that he still makes ham S O U P) and wind is reminded of his grandma and aryl when they make big meals
Now, FOUR is a new year's person. Like he splits and Vio is making sure Green and Blue dont fight (Blue probably started something and Green is fighting off sleep without drinking coffee) while Red is DEFINITELY setting off fireworks with Wind. Probably setting stuff on fire with Wild on accident.
Thank you for coming to my ted talk :)

Nerv is disbanded and Misato adopts all of them. Shinji and Kaworu kiss . Gay people. Asuka gets therapy. Rei learns to be her own person. No more threats of third impact. No more instrumentality. Shinji is finally happy. And all Kaworu had to do was murder some old men I mean let them die of old age

don't give me hope, don't break me again please I have a very fragile stevebucky heart .. it's almost like I'm never going to recover from anything that stevebucky ever served me, I'm gonna take their crumbs and hope for the best
Bucky stops by the mention of steve's name and then looks like it has shifted something huge in him
and he is out there, don't know if out of custody he was kept in, or not, but looks like he found a strand of hope, IM GONNA GO CRY

I can't get over how well Skyjacks: Courier's Call manages to capture the feeling of really, really good children's literature. Listening to it seriously does make me feel like a bookish eleven year old all over again, all the sedimentary layers of my adult cynicism and ennui about the fantasy genre washed away for a moment to lay my heart as bare and excitable as it was back then haha.
This podcast also has what I think might be my favourite moment out of all podcasts of all time, full stop... and it's just a snowball fight with no real narrative stakes at all, only a dwelling on the joy and the characters in that particular moment. To this day, thinking about it feels like a big smile in my chest. (To be clear it's not like the show doesn't have powerful narrative stakes or High Drama overall! But I have rarely found a story so willing to and so skillfull at lingering in delight and discovery just for the sake of it. There's such an immense generosity in that which I think is an underappreciated aspect of storytelling, and that I am really grateful for.)
(If you've never heard of it before, I'm talking about the all-ages actual play podcast Skyjacks: Courier's Call, and you can check it out over here if you'd like! It also carries over and builds on a lot of really amazing worldbuilding from Campaign Skyjacks, part of which is a deeply queernorm approach, so that's another level on which people might connect with it. And if all of this weren't enough: absolute banger music at every turn, as with Skyjacks itself. Season 3 is just starting now, so it's a good time to get caught up!)
