Dont think that while appearing calm to the Traveler after reteling his story, he probably was anything but that

Dont think about the enormous guilt he must feel, that these people, his people were suffering under his nose without him knowing

Dont think about the possible blood stained nightmares that plague his sleep, memories of the past and the present blurring together and accusing him of why didnt he notice sooner? Why did he fail to protect them? Why not enact his own justice again?

Dont think about how he probably gonna let out steam in the pankration ring, fighting round after round after round, till his body is sore and his hands are bleeding but the rage, the pain and the guilt are still there... its still not enough, so another round it is

Dont think about how Sigewinne would first be upset then sad that Wriothesley wouldnt listen to her to stop and care for himself causing him to feel even worse because once again he was causing trouble for her

I've seen a lot of people point out that while Astarion's whole "thing" in act 1 is that he's this sexy sweet talking savant, he only has 10 charisma and actually isn't all that good at it.

He practices cheesy pickup lines within earshot of the person he's going to say them to, and every single time he flirts with tav it's extremely heavy-handed and almost cringeworthy. It's pretty obvious that he's trying to manipulate tav, even if the reason doesn't become clear until his act 2 confession.

But here's the thing: Astarion never actually needed to be all that good at flirting.

He says himself that the vast majority of his "targets" were drunks and brothel-goers. People who never actually saw him as anything other than an object for their pleasure. They were going to go home with him no matter what he said. A few pretty words and his physical beauty would do the rest.

But Tav is the first person to actually view him as a real person, which is why it becomes so glaringly obvious that he's not nearly as charming as he thinks he is. Astarion tells them at the tiefling party that "every part of their body screams temptation" and their response is that he's "sweet" and "silly". They're not buying it for second, because they don't need to be told pretty lies to like him. They like him because of who he really is as a person. They fall in love with him not because he's good in bed or has pretty eyes or a sexy body. They fall in love with him because he's sweet and secretly very kind. Because there is so much pain and sadness and fear in him, and he truly cannot see how amazing he really is. That his goodness never really went away, it just got hidden for a while.

I am so very worried that next season Vox is gonna use the footage he took of Alastor loosing against Adam to humiliate him.

It'd be so effective too cause Alastor has a lot of enemies who'd want to see him humbled and he largely has been an enigma but there he is in HD loosing a fight.

And then to make it hurt worse Vox would dig in how Niffty, the maid, beat Adam (ignoring Lucifer did all the hardwork) but Alastor couldn't leave a scratch.

I just have a bad feeling next season isn't gonna be Al's season. I don't want to see my boy going through it, he was supposed to be an untouchable shit starter. This hurts too much.

Okay so we all have this idea that abilities are born from trauma or desire, right? They're incredibly powerful emotions and manifestation in the form of a skill, a weapon. In dead apple it's also briefly mentioned that the dragon is born from the abilities. In other words, that destructive mindless dragon was born from those emotions.

This leads me to think that these abilities must have some sort of physical and mental effect on the skill users. The mental effect is evident throughout the story, especially from Atsushi's pov but physical effect too. A lingering tiredness, like invisible weights on your shoulders.

So what must Dazai's touch feel like to these people? No Longer Human doesn't only nullifies the ability, it temporarily takes it away from the user, along with the exhaustion.

It must feel amazing, alleviating to come in contact with it for skill users.

Now imagine hugging Dazai. Imagine ADA having a hug Dazai day.

Hugging Dazai feels like every ounce of tension leaving your bones. It's nice, it's stress relieving. It's so soothing you could fall asleep in his arms (Kenji does every time and Atsushi starts dozing off in ten seconds). Even Ranpo loves hug Dazai day. Kunikida always lingers on for an extra minute when he gets to hug Dazai. Yosano thinks they should have hug Dazai day every day.

Imagine being Chuuya who gets to hug Dazai to sleep every night. He'll never admit it but he LOVES being the little spoon. Falling asleep in Dazai's arms feels therapeutic. He always wakes up the next morning feeling like he could conquer the world.

I've also read somewhere on twitter that asgr came up with nlh as an ability that ruins everything for Dazai and I just want to think that sometimes when he accidentally nullifies someone's ability and tries to apologize for it, the person immediately goes no that was wonderful tf do it again.

So yeah basically everyone loves Dazai and his ability.
