Ingo's so shocked and amused he just keeps going off like "Sea shanties!! Why not listen to rail shanties? Track-laying work songs?? 1800s train folksongs!? The betrayal! A song about the sea of all things! You hate the sea! And boats! Emmet you're a train conductor, what happened!? Where is the railway-loving, train-engineering brother I grew up with???"

Another study finished- this time with Xavier! I'm still never going to get over what narrow hips they gave this man considering what a 🍑 he's packing. I mean come on with a booty like that he should have the hips to carry it, but what do I know 🤷🏽👀

I do genuinely love the shoulder and clavicle shape they gave Xavier though, on top of his perfect biceps. They just so wonderfully match the shape of actual swordsmen (not too bulky, the muscles are built in the correct places). I know I give Xav a lot of shit for complaining about exercising, but aside from his impressive abs and lats, he has a very functional build for his job and I think that's neat 😊

Anyway, enjoy the culmination of about 4 nights of me crying over this piece because it was genuinely challenging. Let's hope Rafayel proves to be more cooperative!

He stands at the far left side of the canvas, with his back to the camera and his head turned over his shoulder to stare a beady four-pointed eye at the audience. Their arms hang loosely at their sides. Four massive black wings sprout from Jericho/Virgil's shoulderblades and from below his "ribcage," the two farther from the camera extending over the rest of the canvas. Seven orange eyes with four-pointed star pupils, drawn even more messily than the figure, float in space and stare out at the audience from between the feathers of the extended wings.
