for my psychopathology class, i was tasked with diagnosing a fictional character with a particular mental disored and per the request of one of my very good friends, i did my presentation on red alert and his strikingly accurate characteristics of obsessive compulsive disorder primarily in the g1 cartoon. the initial tweet got a bit of traction on twitter, so i decided to share the slides on my tumblr as well for any hardcore red alert fans out there like me who are interested!

honestly i could talk a lot about how transformers has been a conduit for the discussion of mental health and disability rep for a long time (its a topic im very passionate about) but i'll save a more in-depth review for, like. a dissertation or something lmao. maybe a video analysis for another day... in the meantime i will infect everyone with my ocd red alert brainworms 🎉🎉🎉

you know those headphone splitters where two people can listen to one thing? are there splitters for cybertronian threesomes

this is actually something ive been thinking about! i think theres a lot of variety for multiple partners when it comes to cybertronians, since with my hcs theres a Lot of different methods of entry lol. plus, they have a lot more versatility with body mods. a couple of my immediate ideas though:

and, ofc, additional notes:

-you can use port adapters and cable splitters for single partners, if you want to use both your wrist and thigh cables/ports at once but your partner only wants to use one

-its up there, but yeah you can swap out any of these port and cable placements. using a port adapter for your neck port is considered very rare and a high honor for the partners plugging in. how rare, to trust not one but two or more people that much!

-positions can get very awkward very quickly, which is why cable extenders are in high demand

i need to make a full guide for myself at some point on sex & intimacy hcs for transformers, its way too fun and interesting to ponder about

RED ALERT SPOTTED!!!

Seeing Red Alert in your last post was such a pleasant surprise, he's my absolute favorite but I see so little of him. Do you have any plans to draw him in some of your comics in the future?

Also, since Red is there, how did he react to Starscream and Skywarp coming to the Autobot base when Skywarp was hurt?

I haven't really given much thought on the logistics of the seekers' stay at Autobot base because i dont actually know the autobots very well. i understand that the Autobots letting Starscream of all mechs free range of Autobot base is very farfetched, but consider: lets say Starscream has been ineffectively leading the Decepticons for three years and caused very little problems during that time span, suddenly turns up extremely mask off with worry over Skywarp's condition, and also arrived bearing news that Megatron is still alive and back in the game (their animosity is not a secret in either faction). I think there is at least some reason for the autobots to give him the benefit of the doubt, especially when he becomes suspiciously determined to behave. Red Alert would have been one of the loudest voices against Starscream's trustworthiness, given their past history, and would have required placating. Red is a paranoid guy, but i think he's reasonable enough when his logic circuits arent being fried. My thought is maybe Starscream is required to have a chaperone while on base, and maybe Red insisted on having a camera installed in the seekers' room. Im sure even as other autobots like Bumblebee start to trust Starscream, Red will continue to just not want to be around him, which is fair.
