Kdramas to watch when Extraordinary You ends

Itazura Na Kiss-

Kotoko Aihara (Honoka Miki) isn't very intelligent and lacks ability in school. She is in class F, the least intelligent class in her grade. Despite this, she has been in love with the school's most handsome and most intelligent guy, Naoki Irie (Yuki Furukawa), ever since she saw him give a speech at the high school entrance ceremony.

In her third year of high school, she writes him a love letter but is rejected instantly. She is crushed to see her letter was not even looked at and decides to give up on the jerk who rejected her without even reading it. On the same day, Kotoko's house is hit by a shooting star and collapses. As it is being rebuilt, her dad gets a phone call from his longtime friend and is invited to stay with them. When she arrives, she is in shock to see that this is the house of Naoki Irie and his family. Although he shows a cold attitude, she realizes she can't help but love him. What will happen when fate takes over, and Kotoko's chance of winning Naoki's heart falls in her hands?

If you secretly wanted Dan Oh to end up with Kyung, you will definitely love to see how our herione melts the icy exterior of the male lead

My Little Princess-

Lin Xing Chen has everything in life. She is rich, beautiful, and adored by all. She is also cursed with the fate that any man she likes will not like her back. She begins a difficult journey to win the heart of a rich heir. Standing in her way to a happily-ever-after is a sweet, compassionate but poor girl and a smart, multitalented but poor boy.

Personal review: 8/10

An innocent and soft story that is very similar to Extraordinary You, with a little extra cheese

Legend Of The Blue Sea-

The television series centers on the love story of Heo Joon-jae (Lee Min-ho), the son of a rich businessman who becomes a clever con-man after his parents' divorce, and a mermaid named Shim Cheong (Jun Ji-hyun). Focusing on rebirth, fate, and unrequited love, their tale is juxtaposed with the parallel story of their Joseon era incarnations, town head Kim Dam-ryeong and the mermaid Se-hwa.

Personal review: 9/10

A little bit of magic and a whole lot of comedy. Our main herione carries this drama on her amazingly strong shoulder

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo-

Kim Bok-Joo (Lee Sung-Kyung) is a promising collegiate female weightlifter. Her father runs a small chicken restaurant and her uncle wants to become an actor. She has a bright personality and strong sense of justice. Kim Bok-Joo and her friends on the female weightlifting team are not popular with the guys and they don't have boyfriends. The weightlifting team and the rhythmic gymnastic team also don't get along at all.

Meanwhile, Jung Joon-Hyung (Nam Joo-Hyuk) is a collegiate swimmer plagued with numerous false start disqualifications. He is 21-years-old and has a free spirit. His uncle and aunt raised him along with his cousin Jung Jae-Yi (Lee Jae-Yoon).

One day on campus, Kim Bok-Joo bumps into Jung Joon-Hyung while he is riding his bicycle. Her face looks familiar to Jung Joon-Hyung. After he leaves, Kim Bok-Joo picks up a handkerchief left behind by Jung Joon-Hyung. The handkerchief is very important to him and he begins looking for it.

Personal review: 100/10

Not your usual herione of you average, but Bok Joo is someone that captures your heart immediately. Also the main couple has the best chemistry together

School 2017-

The plot follows a class of high school students attempting to overcome the stress of being ranked by their exam grades, and facing the difficulties of being a teenager in a high-pressure, corrupt system. Its central protagonist is Ra Eun-ho (Kim Se-jeong), a cheerful and kind-hearted 18-year-old who dreams of being a webtoon artist but is caught up in the search for a mysterious troublemaker in the school, known as 'Student X'. When she is accused of being Student X, her dream of going to university to study art is put at risk as she faces expulsion. Hyun Tae Woon (Kim Jung-hyun) is the son of the director of the school who enjoys his youth but hides deep scars. Song Dae Hwi (Jang Dong-yoon) is a bright student who's ranked 1st everytime but doesn't have enough money for his dream college

Personal review: 7/10

A cute coming g of age drama that's a lighthearted watch

W two worlds-

Cardiothoracic surgeon Oh Yeon Joo's father mysteriously went missing while writing the last chapter of his webtoon "W". Yeon Joo goes to his office and is shocked to see a scene of a bloodied Kang Cheol, the main character of W, on her father's monitor. While reading something left behind by her father, a hand from the monitor pulled her in. She found herself on the rooftop of a building, next to a man lying down in blood. She manages to save him and realizes that the person she saved was Kang Cheol. She later discovers she can only enter and leave the webtoon depending on Kang Cheol's feelings.

Personal review: 9/10

A different perspective of the webtoon world with the perspective of the author taken in. Also who doesnt love Lee Jong Suk

Cheese in the trap-

The drama focuses on the life and relationships of a group of university students, particularly the difficult relationship between Hong Seol (Kim Go-eun) and her sunbae, or her senior, Yoo Jung (Park Hae-jin).

Jung is the rich heir to Taerang Group and seemingly has a perfect life, but also displays psychopathic tendencies, which cause Seol to take time off school to get away from him. When she returns through a scholarship that was intended for Jung, he is unexpectedly nice to her and asks her on a date. They begin an awkward relationship which is further complicated by the arrival of Baek In-ho and his sister In-ha, childhood friends of Jung and her finding out he is wealthy.

Personal review: Actually never watched it because I dont like open endings but watch at your own risk :)

42: Favorite K-Drama kiss scene? Oooooh.... First of all kiss in the prison in W: Two worlds, handcuffed hugs was so cute. Kiss on a piano in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, Hyung Sik was so passionate. Kiss in the closet in What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim? was romantic as heaven. I can’t remember every good kiss scene because dramas have a lot of this stuff.

43: One K-Drama you could rewatch over and over? W: Two worlds again. And again. And over again.

44: How often do you watch C-Dramas? Sometimes. I don’t like them because of the large number of episodes in most cases and it’s hard to wait long for the translation from chinese

45: How often to you watch Thai Dramas? Rarely. But sometimes good things come across. If the main female character is less hysterical

The Korean Business Research Institute has extracted 93,608,180 big data from 630 individual boy groups from March 18 to April 19, 2020 to analyze big data about individual brands. The brand reputation index is analyzed through the consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes.

Jimin from BTS topped the list for the 16th consecutive month with a brand reputation index of 7,496,181 (decreased by 12.02%)

11. The Legend Of The Blue Sea

There’s history, mythology, mystery, romance, and comedy- what more could you want?! Heo Joon-jae (Lee Min-ho) is the son of a rich businessman who becomes a handsome and clever con-man after his parents' divorce. Shim Cheong (Jun Ji-hyun) is a mermaid who becomes lost and runs into him. First only sticking by her for material gain, Joon-Jae slowly realises his feelings are a little stronger than that. Their tale is juxtaposed with the parallel story of their Joseon era incarnations, town head Kim Dam-ryeong and the mermaid Se-hwa. Cheong is absolutely adorable as she learns to adapt to human life, and strikes up friendships with some of the strangest people. Joon-Jae is a scumbag with a heart and a tragic past and it is very difficult not to love them both. The added element of mystery with a murderer on the loose and Cheong’s attempt to hide her identity make for a full and intriguing story that you won’t want to take your eyes off of.

12. Pinocchio

Choi In-Ha (Park Shin-Hye) hiccups every time she lies. Choi Dal-Po’s (Lee Jong-Suk) life was ruined by the lies the media spread about his family. He is adopted by In-Ha’s family and they grow up together, battling back their feelings for each other and the cutthroat business of reporting which they’ve both found themselves pursuing. It explores the value and falldowns of honesty and how the media can be manipulated and faked. Friends->lovers plus lovely family bonds and the importance of empathy. Very good drama, emotive and charming, 100% recommend.

13. The Heirs

This ones a really good one if you’re starting off, as it’s not too heavy or complicated. Kim Tan (Lee Min-Ho), a wealthy heir to a large Korean conglomerate, and Cha Eun-Sang (Park Shin-Hye) meet in America when Eun-Sang goes to visit her sister. After a failed encounter, Kim Tan offers to let Eun-Sang stay with him before she goes back to Korea. Despite being engaged to Yoo Rachel (Kim Ji-won), a fellow heiress, Kim Tan soon falls in love with Eun-sang. When Eun-Sang returns to Korea, Kim Tan also returns. Tan’s ex best friend Choi Young-Do (Kim Woo-Bin) notices Tan’s softspot for the new girl and begins to pursue her too. It explores teenage trials and tribulations in the lives of the rich and the poor, as well as pressures from the adult world.

14. Hymn Of Death

This three-parter channels Titanic with its tragic love story and historical setting. You go into this knowing there will be heartbreak, but it still hurts so much!! It is based on the true story of the tragic romance between Joseon's first soprano Yun Sim-deok (Shin Hye-Sun) and a genius playwright Kim Woo-jin (Lee Jong-Suk). It is heartbreaking to see the two fall for eachother knowing they cannot be together for far too many reasons. It spans a number of years and their love remains strong throughout. The quotes in this from Woo-jin’s real journals are beautiful too and add to the real life story. A must watch, if not for the story, then for Shin Hye-Sun and Lee Jong-Suk’s acting which is fantastic throughout.

17. While You Were Sleeping

A girl who sees the future in her dreams, and a seemingly unconnected new neighbour are brought together through a series of events. It is legal drama crossed with fantasy as Jung Jae-Chan (Lee Jong-suk) starts a new job at the prosecutor’s office despite his clumsy, goofy personality. Jae-Chan dreams about an accident which causes much grief and loss, and decides he must try to stop it, and in doing-so his connection with Nam Hong-Joo (Bae Suzy) is strengthened and their relationship blossoms. There are some great dynamics here, not only between Jae-Chan and Hong-Joo, but also with their friend Han Woo-Tak (Jung Hae-in), who begins to dream of the future too after his life is saved, and Choi Dam-Dong (Kim Won-hae) who is a funny but sweet father figure to Jae-Chan as he teaches him the ways of life as a prosecutor. Ruthless lawyer Lee Yu-Beom (Lee Sang-yeob)’s portayal is magnetic and captivating.

18. My ID Is Gangnam Beauty

Afraid of how her peers perceive her, Kang Mi-Rae (Im Soo-hyang) undergoes plastic surgery to stop worrying about her looks before she starts university. However, after a while at university people begin to label her as a ‘Gangnam plastic surgery monster’ as her appearance is a bit too obviously altered. Mi-rae struggles with her concerns of what people think about her, which has followed her around her whole life, in a stark contrast to Do Kyung-seok (Cha Eun-Woo), who does not care what others think. The general message of body positivity isn’t without its flaws, but it brings discussions of insecurity and societal standards to the forefront. The good messaging outweighs the flaws by far and there is also a fair bit of feminism going on, just keep track of Mi-rae’s T-shirt slogans! The relationship between Kyung-seok and Mi-rae is very sweet and shy, and Kyung-seok likes her regardless of what others think. Lighthearted but with an important message.

19. She Was Pretty

Kim Hye-Jin’s (Hwang Jung-eum) childhood friend contacts her years later wishing to reconnect. However, upon meeting Ji Sung-joon (Park Seo-joon) does not recognise her, expecting her to appear like her younger self. Kim Hye-jin was a beautiful girl from a rich family, but after her family's publishing company went bankrupt, she experienced hardships then lost her beauty too. Ji Sung-joon was a shy, unattractive boy, but grows up as a handsome and successful editor. Ashamed to meet her first love and ruin his perception of her, Hye-jin asks her attractive best friend, Min Ha-ri (Go Joon-hee), to act as her once, then make up an excuse to never see Sung-joon again. Things get complicated when Hye-jin is assigned to work at The Most magazine publishing office where Sung-joon is the deputy chief editor. He openly mistreats and belittles her for her clumsy nature, not knowing that she was his real childhood friend. Kim Shin-Hyuk () is the second lead in this and his performace is fantastic. The growth between Sung-joon and Hye-jin is definitely worth watching and messages about beauty resonate well.

20. Thirty But Seventeen

Although there are a fair few emotional moments, this show is still for the most part a light, heartwarming drama with little angst and struggle. Also, there are not really ny plausible second leads to confuse the romance storyline as Yoo Chan (Ahn Hyo-Seop) is Gong Woo-Jin’s (Yang Se-Jong) 19 year old nephew, and Kim Tae-Hyun has very little screen time. I feel this makes it a lot easier to connect to the main couple, who are ADORABLE. They are both still mentally 17, after Woo Seo-Ri (Shin Hye-Sun) was in a coma for 13 years, and Woo-Jin’s PTSD from the accident keeps him stuck on repeat. After waking from her coma, Seo-Ri returns to her old house, unaware that it is now under new ownership in the form of Woo-Jin’s family. There is still a lot of tropey goodness (living together!!), but the story and interactions feel fresh and unique, and the dynamic between Seo-Ri, Woo-Jin, Yoo Chan, and Jennifer (Ye Ji-Won) is enough to keep you watching as it’s so warm and pure. Not to mention the dog Paeng/Deok Gu!! I love them all so much and it’s just the sweetest!

With Hana 'D VA' Song's hospitalization, Captain Myung summoned the MEKA mechanics, including Dae-Hyun, who was with Hana during the recent attacks.

"I understand that none of you are pilots" Captain Myung started her speech. "But with the entirety of the MEKA squad out of commission, more so than others, Korea is vulnerable." She continued. "As of today, you five are no longer just engineers." She announced.

The captain words caused murmurs among the summoned engineers. They knew it was only a matter of time for them to be properly enlisted. The number of pilots MEKA has are considerably low and with hospitalization, MEKA has no pilot left.

"Consider yourselves back-up pilots to the MEKA squad." Captain Myung announced. "As such, you will practice maneuvers using the mechs of your pilots." She instructed.

"They did what?!" Hana shouted in surprise. "We were doing just fine." She exclaimed as she tried to get up from her bed.

"Hana." Dae-Hyun tried to get her attention.

"They did not need to enlist you guys!" Hana ranted. "By tomorrow we'll all be as good as new."

"Hana." Dae-Hyun tried once more. "You don't understand." He stated as he sat on the chair beside Hana's bed. "That last attack proved that the Gwishin could attack at any time." He explained. "And we mechanics are the only people capable and familiar with your mechs to combat the impending threat." He finished.

"Kyung-Soo isn't going to like this one bit." Hana murmured.

"No! Absolutely not!" Kyung-Soo's voice was heard from behind the walls. "I enlisted in the army to take care of you and have somewhere to live." He continued shouting. "I am not about to let my uncle's youngest son participate in the battlefield!" He finished.

"Oh c'mon!" A younger voice argued. "I'm only 16 not that much younger than you!"

"No means no!"

"And that was bound to happen." Hana commented as she tuned out the argument taking place beyond her walls. "We were 18 when we voluntarily enlisted." She stated. "Even then Kyung-Soo was against our enlistment then." She finished.

"We already brought that up to Captain Myung." Dae-Hyun replied. "But unless any of us familiarize ourselves with King's mech, only his cousin can pilot it." He added. "And with you causing Tokki to self-destruct, I've got nothing else to do except make a second version of it."

"That's it!" Hana exclaimed. "Why don't you use the time off to familiarize yourself with Singijeon?"

"We brought that up as well." Dae-Hyun sighed." Captain Myung denied that request as she ordered me to make Tokki from scratch and make the self-destruct thing you did a thing." He continued. "This'll be my last visit to you until you get discharged." He finished.

"Poor Kyung-Soo." Hana sighed. "What about Yuna's, Jae-Eun's and Seung-Hwa's mechanics?" She asked.

"They're already familiarizing themselves on how their respective mechs operate." Dae-Hyun answered." Gyong-Si wassn't allowed until Kyung-Soo gives the okay." He added. "Which was why he informed his cousin today." He continued.

"Then the argument started." Hana finished Dae-Hyun's train of thought.

"As for those three." Dae-Hyun continued the conversation. "I'm guessing they aren't entirely happy with the decision." He added. "Like me, those mechanics are close to the pilots." He continued. "But they're already adults so they don't have any say."

"That sucks." Hana bitterly commented.

As Hana predicted, Kyung-Soo did not give the okay, much to Captain Myung's displeasure. As soon as he was asked who would be, everyone immediately volunteered Dae-Hyun as a suitable candidate.

"Dae-Hyun is not eligible to pilot Singijeon." The captain announced." From now on, he'll pilot Tokki and Hana will be safe inside the base." She explained.

"What?!" Came everyone's immediate reaction.

"Korea can't lose her symbol of peace!" The captain argued. "We can't cause mass panic when Hana eventually dies in battle." She finished.

"Are you out of your mind?!" Yuna shrieked. "What are you going to do if that plan backfires?!" She countered.

"Enough!" Captain Myung shouted. "I am your commanding officer and my decision is final." She stated with finality. "King you have three weeks to find a mechanic and at the same time will serve as your back up pilot." She then walked out of the mess hall.

The event that has just unfolded caused a stir inside the mess hall. Yuna 'D MON' Lee mostly glared at the door but continued to murmur profanities aimed at their commanding officer.

"Who does she think she is?!" Kyung-Soo exclaimed. "Enlisting a minor to get himself killed." He angrily stated. "And now he expects every one of us to die for Hana's sake?" He bitterly added.

"To be fair." Seung-Hwa responded." She only asked Dae-Hyun to die for Hana's sake." He corrected.

"Not helping Seung-Hwa!" Jae-Eun hissed. "Regardless of who she had sentenced to death, it's still unethical to not get Dae-Hyun's consent and force young Gyong-Si to enlist in the military." He continued. "Not unless Dae-Hyun already gave his consent.

Everyone's attention was immediately on the stunned Dae-Hyun. He hasn't completely processed of what has transpired.

Who could blame him, the squad's captain just essentially gave him a death sentence.

"No I did not." Dae-Hyun responded with a sigh. "This is the first time I've heard of it." He admitted. "But…" He trailed off.

"You can't actually be okay to be used as a sacrificial pawn by the captain." Yuna exclaimed. "She just sentenced you to death!" She added.

"Guys, guys!" Seung-Hwa shouted to get everyone's attention. "I understand that all of us are incredibly upset with the Captain's decision." He added. "Let's calm down just a bit and stop with the shouting." He pleaded with everyone in the room.

"Fine." Everyone responded with a sigh.

"Now that everyone is calm." Seung-Hwa started once more. "Let's air out our grievances at the recent events." He prompted everyone. "One by one." He added. "You first King."

"Why does it have to be our mechanics who will become our back-up pilots?" Kyung-Soo questioned. "Gyong-Si is still 16 years old." He exclaimed.

"Captain Myung has been on record saying that only we mechanics were the only ones familiar with your mechs." Dae-Hyun answered. "Me with Tokki; Gyong-Si with Singijeon and so on." He continued.

"Makes sense." Jae-Eun nodded.

"That doesn't mean I have to like it." Kyung-Soo pouted. "I will find someone who'll replace my cousin and become my back-up pilot."

"With that resolved, let's proceed." Seung-Hwa announced. "Who's next?" He asked.

"Not exactly resolved." Yuna announced. "We still have the issue of putting our mechanics in a dangerous position." She exclaimed. "They don't have any experience in piloting mechs." She explained. "They'd be sitting ducks out there."

"To be fair none of us were really experienced in piloting mechs before." Jae-Eun stated. "I'm a racer; Yuna, Kyung-Soo and Hana were E-sports gamers; and Seung-Hwa's the youngest pilot here like me." He continued. "We were trained."

"That's the point." Yuna exclaimed. "We were trained." She repeated for emphasis." Our mechanics weren't!"

"She does make a good point." Kyung-Soo agreed. "It took us months to properly work on our mechs." He added. "Then more months for us to work in synch." He finished.

"Then there's the whole Dae-Hyun thing." Yuna added another point. "Just because Hana is the face of MEKA and regarded as an invulnerable hero, doesn't mean she can just throw him to the lion's den in her stead."

"To be fair, Hana and I took turns testing Tokki for it to work as well as it did." Dae-Hyun responded. "So I am familiar with how Tokki works," He continued, "and how to fly it." He finished.

"But you didn't have the training we had." Yuna argued. "You'd be dead as soon as you're deployed."

"Gee thanks for the vote of confidence." Dae-Hyun responded mirthlessly.

"Dae I'm serious!" Yuna exclaimed. "I don't doubt your skills." She explained herself. "You were our coach during our E-sports days." She continued. "This and back then are two different things." She finished.

"I agree." Kyung-Soo nodded. "Frankly, you weren't trained as hard we have been." He continued. "Your plays were amazing by the way." He praised Hana's mechanic and coach.

"Thank you?"

"Not the time King." Yuna rolled her eyes. "Regardless if you're familiar with how Tokki works or not, you still weren't trained like we were.' She finished.

"Actually." Seung-Hwa inserted himself into the discussion. "The mechanics did go undergo combat training." He revealed. "In the event that the base would be compromised." He informed. "A contingency if you will." He finished.

"We were also trained in piloting simple ships in the event of an escape and defending ourselves during our escape." Dae-Hyun informed the group.

The other mechanics in the room sans Gyong-Si simply nodded in confirmation, opted to remain silent during the argument between the pilots and Dae-Hyun.

Kyung-Soo's young cousin on the other hand was inside his room, already asleep as he was still the youngest mechanic at age 16.

"Why weren't we informed of this?" Kyung-Soo glared.

"Actually you were informed." Dae-Hyun responded. "Hana and Seung-Hwa certainly knew about the training." He added. "Maybe you guys were just tired with your own training that you droned out the announcement and anything related to it." He offered.

"So we established Captain Myung's decision isn't unfounded." Seung-Hwa commented. "Does that resolve the issue?"

"Not necessarily." Yuna challenged.

"What do you mean?" Jae-Eun asked. "We just established that Captain Myung decisions unfounded."

"That's just it." Yuna exclaimed. "While our mechanics were trained for combat, but they weren't trained to work well in synch like we do.' She challenged.

"True enough." Jae-Eun nodded. "Barring Dae-Hyun, who I have no doubt can work well with us, the rest still need training to work well with the team like we do." He continued. "No offense." He added immediately.

"None taken." The mechanics answered in chorus.

"Thanks, I guess?" Dae-Hyun wasn't sure how to react to the underhanded praise given his way.

"But I don't see the issue here." Jae-Eun continued his assessment. "Like you said, they need to be trained." He added. "I'm sure Captain Myung won't just send her soldiers untrained and unarmed to battle." He finished.

"Fine." Yuna resigned." There's still another issue."

"What's that?" Seung-Hwa questioned.

"The fact that Dae-Hyun fighting in Hana's stead is going to backfire." Yuna stated.

"I see where you're going with that." Kyung-Soo agreed.

"I see."Seung-Hwa and Jae-Eun nodded.

"What about it?" Dae-Hyun asked.

"Hana's going to be labeled as a glory hog while somebody else is dying in her stead." Yuna informed. "In this case is you." She added.

"What's the harm in her getting the credit?" Dae-Hyun questioned. "It's not like she sent me to my death herself."

"To us, we know she didn't send you to the battlefield." Yuna nodded. "But in the perspective of the public, that's not going to fly well." She added. "It's going to look like she was getting undue credit and would forever have a bad reputation."

"The government's also going to be labeled as corrupt." Kyung-Soo added. "Despite the noble intentions, the English quote 'the road to ruin is paved with good intentions' will go viral and be plastered all around." He continued.

"Essentially, Hana's going to be the country's pariah when this blows on her face." Jae-Eun continued the discussion. "Really this would be affect Hana badly." He finished.

"Huh." Dae-Hyun responded." Never thought about that."

"I do agree that MEKA needs more recruits." Kyung-Soo voiced his opinion. "What I don't agree is Captain Myung sending a minor, inexperienced and untrained mechanics in our stead and basically sending you to your deaths." He enumerated.

"Thanks for worrying for us." Dae-Hyun thanked the pilots.

"Of course!" Yuna smiled. "You guys maintain our mechs with us." She continued. "Our successes as a member of MEKA aren't possible without you guys."

Hana Song walked out of the Captain's office with narrowed eyes as Dae-Hyun bowed at the captain and followed the angry Hana Song back to her room. The other MEKA pilots definitely noticed the stomp that she was making as she made her way to her room.

"What happened?" Yuna asked.

"Captain Myung just informed her about what had decided on regarding her, me and Tokki." Dae-Hyun answered. "And she didn't like that one bit." He sighed.

"Of course she won't." Kyung-Soo exclaimed. "She's one of those people who believe the credit where credit is due." He stated.

"It's a bit more personal than that actually." Dae-Hyun revealed as he blushed.

"Why?" Jae-Eun asked.

"I don't want my best friend to send him to his death." Dae-Hyun repeated Hana's words to the captain as his face become red in embarrassment.

"Of course!" Yuna smiled. "Dae-Hyun and Hana were childhood friends." She informed everyone. "Of course she's not going to send her best friend to his death."

"Although she did agree on me being her back up pilot." Dae-Hyun revealed." She does understand that if she were out of commission, someone needs to pilot Tokki whenever there's an attack." He finished.

"That's if she hasn't activated and made Tokki self-destruct once more." Seung-Hwa joked.

"Hey!" Hana reacted at the joke at her expense from inside her room. "I resent that Overlord!"

"Guilty as charged." Seung-Hwa laughed as he left to work on his mech along with his mechanic.

"In any case, rebuilding Tokki version 2 is going to take a while." Dae-Hyun informed the pilots. "The materials needed hasn't been delivered yet so we're stuck at the blueprint stage."

"Attention everyone!" The Captain's Voice boomed through the base's PA system. "Due to recent events and injuries, the General has issued a mandatory vacation amongst the members of MEKA." Captain Myung announced.

"What if another Gwishin attacks?" Came Yuna's question.

"You all are still on call." Captain Myung clarified. "But the newly installed marine defenses are going to hold them off until you lot arrive.

"Dae-Hyun and I will be staying at the base!" Hana announced.

Dae-Hyun simply shrugged and nodded with Hana's declaration.

"Good, the metals needed are going to arrive tomorrow." Captain Myung responded. "But the General needs everyone to be off the base premises tomorrow morning for a routine checkup and maintenance."

Dae-Hyun noticed the wrench Hana was holding fell to the ground, he approached the thing and picked it up.

"Oh man. This time off is great isn't it?" Dae-Hyun asked with mirth as he gave Hana the wrench that fell from her hands.

definitely jealousy incarnate, lee jong suk is really brilliant as lee hwa shin and even though i have to admit that i didn’t watch the side stories, and mostly only the stories of lee hwa shin and pyo nari… it’s still better than oh my ghostess in my opinion. the latter show made me uncomfortable- mostly due to the fact the main lead was falling in love with a mix of two people. it just made me a bit itchy :(( and sad :(( because then the romance is a bit of a mess

17: descendants of the sun or w: two world?

hmm.. i actually did start descendants but dihfiadhf for the life of me could not get past the first two episode, maybe it was the dramatic love song at the end of their first meeting that had me both scratching my head and stifling laughter. but i’ve heard good things about w, and did want to pick it up until i heard the ending went a bit lopsided, so to save myself disappointment, i did not watch it.

18: moonlight drawn by clouds or legend of the blue sea?

okay so this is tricky… mdbc is critically… probably a better drama but despite it’s flaws i really have to say legend of the blue sea. i watched it the whole way through, and i really love the soundtrack (which im actually listening to as i answer these) and the main characters, and it made me laugh a lot even if i did cry a little over the greatness it could’ve been :((

oh hye won and her friend ji soo from secret love affair. i really loved their friendship, how ji soo was a pillar of support for hye won, she was a real friend.

i really truly love the friendship between the three main female leads in the woman who still wants to marry- it’s so warm.

oh hae young and her friend in oh hae young again are also very sweet, i’m really glad hae young had a friend she could talk to.

oh and the friendships between shim cheong and all her cute oddball friends in legend of the blue sea :’((( that was pure stuff right there

and let’s not forget the kids and family on the block in reply 1988, its honestly so lovely :’((

i feel like there’s almost always a sidekick friend in kdrama’s but never are they good friendships that make me feel things :( sometimes the friend is just a prop

oooh… this is hard… if this was bollywood it would be easier because i would’ve just said kajol and sharukh khan… but here… lemme think… now that i think about it… i really liked gong hyo jin with so ji sub in the master’s sun. i also really liked park hyun sik and lim ji yeon together in high society. but otherwise… my brain is frazzled!!

how could i forget minah and namgung min in beautiful gong shim :((( they had such great chemistry

oh boy oh boy… i think i did watch one? but skipped a load of it to watch one couple… i mean i’ve thought about it? especially with father is strange… but it’s a pretty rare case. i know i’ve started some but couldn’t get through them all :(

efrhiptfuohf’rgh let us see… this is hard because kdrama’s don’t like being complete fluff… but the woman who wants to marry is a wild bit of fun :((

my girlfriend is a gumiho is a really nice watch, wouldn’t call it 100% fluff because… i cried a little
