8 Popular Men’s Fashion Styles Seen In K-Dramas
1. Kim Seon Ho
Tumblr media
In Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Kim Seon ho’s fashion is casual and practical. You will often see him wearing a t-shirt, plaid shirt, and jeans.
The main point of his style is that he rarely buttons up his shirts. Because the checkered patterns are colorful and diverse, it never gets boring.
2. Park Seo Joon
Tumblr media
In Itaewon Class, Park Seo Joon often wears oversized items, especially bomber jackets in deep tones, that show his masculinity.
He completes this edgy, street look by layering with dark hoodies and wearing combat boots.
3. Park Seo Joon
Tumblr media
Unlike the stubborn, hard Park Saeroyi, Park Seo Joon plays a seemingly narcisstic chairman with a luxurious, clean style in What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim.
He often wears a full suit with a tie and completes the look with a very fancy pocket scarf.
4. Lee Min Ho
Tumblr media
Lee Min Ho often plays a chaebol, a word used to describe the super-rich in Korea.
In The King Eternal Monarch, he completes this look by wearing a long coat or trench coat paired with a turtleneck sweater, creating a classic and luxurious style.
5. Gong Yoo
Tumblr media
In Goblin, Gong Yoo also dresses luxuriously in long coats and turtlenecks.
Unlike Lee Min Ho, Gong Yoo is portrayed more warmly, and you will see many scenes of him wearing sweaters and cardigans to create a sweet, friendly look.
6. Cha Eun Woo
Tumblr media
Cha Eun woo’s image in My ID Is Gangnam Beauty is a gentle, sweet, and almost perfect guy. That’s why his fashion style in this drama is quite simple and causal.
His most worn outfit is usually slacks and a button down shirt. The shirt is neatly tucked in, making him look and professional.
7. Hwang In Yeop
Tumblr media
Hwang In Yeop perfectly portrays the bad boy in True Beauty with his big leather jackets, chain necklace, and silver earrings.
He looks extremely trendy and sets the standard for the bad boy style.
8. Lee Do Hyun
Tumblr media
The drama Youth of May is set around an extremely important event in Korean history - the democratization of Gwangju in May 1980. Lee Do Hyun recreated the style of the youth at that time.
The most typical of Lee Do Hyun’s retro outfits is jeans with a button down shirt and belt.

Korea Chronicles : Korean Folk Village (Part 4)
Korea Chronicles : Korean Folk Village (Part 4)
In this video, my good friend @koreansusu3411 (Park Jinsu) took me to the Korean Folk Village. It's quite far away from the city. It's really beautiful. I can already imagine how it would look like during Winter.
The place is huge, food was good, lots of attractions within it. There are many different parts within the Folk Village that is designed for people of different ages from kids, teenagers, to adults and seniors. The best was their home made Makgeolli (Rice Wine) it was divine, but we could only drink so much unless we don't plan to head back home. Also, I wasn't in the best mood that day as that morning I received news about my friend Kyu and his family in USA. Anyway, it was a good trip and many things cheered me up.
After that we visited a high end Hanwoo (Korean Beef) place in Seoul. It's almost omakase style where things are prepared for us at our table. Many different variety of ways to eat Hanwoo. It was too good.

The Algorithm has introduced me to an Influencer Subclass that makes absolute sense a propos online self-as-brand marketing niche demands but nevertheless makes me feel insane and it is people, usually women, born/raised in Eastern Europe with one East Asian parent creating Orientalist content about their Asian heritage in Slavic languages

Let's check out some best Korean traditional food
Kimchi: The Heart and Soul of Korean Cuisine
It would be impossible to discuss Korean cuisine without discussing kimchi. This traditional Korean food has a history extending back more than 2,000 years to the Shilla Dynasty. People usually use cabbage or radishes for kimchi. All the ingredients are usually seasoned with salt, chili pepper flakes, garlic, ginger, and other herbs and spices. The end result is a dish that Koreans adore with every meal because it is sour, hot, and pungent. Due to its probiotic nature, kimchi is not only delicious but also has several health advantages.
Korean Fried Chicken: The Crispy Delight of Traditional Korean Food
Korean fried chicken recreates the classic American fast food in its own special way. Unlike its American equivalents, double-fry the chicken in vegetable oil before covering it in a sweet-spicy sauce. As a result, the inside of the meat is extremely moist. And the lightly battered skin is crispy and low in fat. Korean Fried Chicken is a famous late-night treat with beer.
Tteokbokki- Red Rice Cakes
Tteokbokki is a beloved traditional Korean food that has become a popular street food dish across the country. It features chewy rice cakes, known as tteok, cooked in a spicy sauce, creating a flavorful and satisfying meal. Tteokbokki is known for its unique combination of heat, sweetness, and umami flavors.

Korea Chronicles : Namsan Tower, Itaewon, Yongsan Park, Korean National Museum (Part 3)
This was part 3 of my trip, towards the end of my trip to Seoul. I managed to get a hold of my friend, Jumper SeJong, that I met in Salt Lake City, USA in 2017. Back in 2017, Jumper SeJong and his son were in US to see the solar eclipse. He's also a Pro Skydiver. This round I get to meet his family all the way in Yongsan, Seoul in Korea.
My day started with my trip to Namsan Seoul Tower ( @namsanseoultower ) It was amazing. The ticket I bought included macarons and a drink of choice, I chose Ice Chocolate. Very worth it!! View was amazing. I thought I had to walk all the way up because the cable car was under maintenance. But luckily it opened as I was walking up the hill.
After Namsan Seoul Tower, I took a bus to Itaewon. The place where a very bad tragedy happened in 2022 during Halloween. It's a very happening place but the area where the tragedy happened is quiet.
From there I walked to Yongsan Family Park. It's really beautiful. I love how they have a small farm in almost every park. To teach people the importance of growing food. After that I walked to the National Museum of Korea. It's really nice in there. Quiet, peaceful, a lot to learn, and most importantly, free high speed Wi-Fi!!! Data can sometimes we limited when we are traveling. Internet is precious!
Then I walked to Yongsan Station to meet my friend Jumper SeJong and his family. We had 3 dinners together. Super good times!!!  First was Sundae Sausages, with SoMeg (Soju and Beer mixed!!), then we had dobokki, gimbap and lots of young people food with beer, lastly we had very nice American beef with two different types of makgeolli. It was Divine!!! Really appreciate my friend for the dinners and warm hospitality.
