Pairing: Seongmo x fem!reader

Summary: Just a friendly basketball game between your boyfriend and friends.

Notes: This took me longer than expected to finish but it’s finally here. 🥹🤍 Also, I played basketball back when I was in primary school (a very long time ago, lmao), so idk if the terms are right or the rules or whatever, lmao. I did some research but it still can be inaccurate. 🥸

“Alright, let’s score up to 10 points, ‘kay?” Seongil asked as he bounced the ball.

The group was reunited at the park’s basketball court.

The rest nodded. “Let’s make a bet, the loser team will have to do something embarrassing.” Y/n suggested.

“Which is?” Yechan questioned.

“I don’t know, let’s worry about that later.”

“‘Kay. Now, teams. How do we choose them?” The leader asked.

“Rock, paper, scissors?”

They all agreed.

“Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!” Seongmo and Seongbin lost, meaning that they were together.

“Noooo.”

“Don’t be dramatic.” Y/n rolled her eyes.

“Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!” Then Seongil lost.

“We’re saved!” Seongmo exclaimed happily.

Since there were 7 of them one team was going to have 4 players and the other 3.

So it was Seongmo, Seongbin and Seongil vs Y/n, Yechan, Seokjoon and Dogyun.

The game started after Yechan and Seongil jumped for the ball, the black haired winning it and passing it to Dogyun.

“Dogyunie, here!” Y/n asked for the ball, he passed it to her and since her two other teammates were being blocked by Seongil and Seongbin (who was trying his best), she decided to make a run for it.

She ran while bouncing the ball, almost shooting it into the net until her boyfriend blocked her.

“Where do you think you’re going, pretty girl?” Seongmo teased her.

“To score a basket, duh.”

“Nah, ah, I don’t think so.” He tried to take the ball out of her hand but she was faster.

“Oh, but I will, sweets.” She did a spin and shoot, scoring a point.

“Yes! Good job, Y/nnie.” Seokjoon congratulated her.

“That was luck!” Seongmo uttered.

“Don’t be bitter, sweetie.” The girl laughed and sent him a flying kiss.

The game continued, with both teams scoring left and right, it was a quite close match.

Seongmo was astonished that she played that well, he knew she liked sports and practiced a few but not basketball specifically.

As time progressed, the score reached 9-9, meaning that the next point would define the game’s outcome.

Seongil had possession of the ball and was dribbling it, looking around to see which one of his teammates was free.

“Here, here!” He heard Seongmo’s voice. When he saw him across the court, he threw it at him only for the ball to be intercepted by Y/n, who caught it and shot it into the basket.

“YES!”

“NOOOO!”

You could hear a team screaming out of joy and the other one out of dispair since they would have to do something embarrassing, and the worst part was that they didn’t know what it would be.

“Okay, losers. Are you ready to know your destiny?” Y/n asked teasingly when the seven of them reunited by the center of the court, after chatting about their punishments.

“No.” Seongmo cried out.

“We decided that you’ll have to run around the park while yelling or doing different things.” Yechan explained.

“I’m already dreading this.” Seongil complained.

“And you’ll dread it even more when you have to do it.” Yechan laughed. “You’ll shout that you suck at basketball and that I’m much better than you.”

“Seongbin will have to do pretty cringy aegyo.” Dogyun continued.

“And Seongmo will have to profess his love for Y/n.” Seokjoon finished.

“Like I haven’t done that before.” The black haired laughed.

“True, but not in public.” The girl pointed out. “Or do you prefer to shout that you’re a brat?”

“Hmm, I think I’m good with the first option.”

“Good choice.” She squished his cheek.

The three of them ran and did their penalty as fast as they could, wanting to end their suffering as soon as possible.

When they were done, they were all panting and gasping for air. They were so exhausted that they crashed on the floor.

While they were suffering, Y/n went to the convenience store nearby and bought them drinks. As she was exiting while carrying a platic bag, she heard Seongmo’s voice.

She giggled, her cheeks turning red involuntarily. Now matter how many years they’ve been together his sweet words always got to her, even if these were because of a punishment. She knew he meant each and every one of them.

As she approached the tired boys, she gave them their water bottles and sat next to her boyfriend.

“Thank you, baby.” He spoke gratefully as she handed him his’.

“No prob, sweets.”

After some time Seongmo got up and got comfortable between his girlfriend’s legs, his back against her chest.

Y/n smiled and hugged him, fixing his bangs and giving him a kiss on the forehead, making the boy blush.

They stayed like that for a while, ignoring the way their friends were teasing them.
