At the moment the relevant scientific consesus (or at least the 2017 revision of felid taxonomy by the Cat Specialist Group) notes these variations only as subspecies.

If you didn't know what a kodkod or a güiña is don't feel bad, it seems no one in Gielinor knows what they are either! He's been chased by pretty much every person and monster in Lumbridge at this point.

My OC Maqui. They are a güiña/kodkod cat-shaped spirit of nature that takes care of the Vicente Pérez Rosales national park area. They have plant powers and can shapeshift into other forms.

They are from Nature's Cry, but I also use them as a RP character :3

After a whole week of slightly losing, the kodkod eventually took over and triumphed against the pampas cat, while the andean mountain cat eliminated the well-liked margay. (you people really like fluffy cats here don't you) Now they face each other in the genus and lineage final.
