self love is when i cut up fruit for myself like my grandmother used to.

Have you tried making the meals with ingredients you buy on a productive upswing and then freezing them? Every recipe I follow always talks about making meals in advance and then freezing them to use at a later date.

when i say productive upswing its not just like, a few hours in a week or whatever, i was more talking about when i have one week of being hypomanic and getting a bunch of shit done and then two months of not having any energy at all. which is a very large amount of time to try and prep meals for in advance. and also the meals i make when im feeling good are salads and such lol, hard to freeze

#any type of COOKING beyond like one cutting board and one bowl or pot is kind of impossible for me rn anyway bc i live in theee smallest #apartment in the world and the kitchen is so fucking awful. i literally don't even have a counter its just fridge oven sink cabinets #when i need to prep ingredients i have to go into a different room and use the table i eat at for cutting and mixing and everything #and i don't have a dishwasher so everything i make dirty means more cleaning 😫#sorry im just complaining now lol thank you for the advise once im in a better living space hopefully i will be able to cook more :)#ask #anon

poems abt love being in the kitchen are nice and all but how abt poems abt HATE in the kitchen

#i donot have the words or the poetic talent to express my idea better but like #the home can be a dysfunctional and almost monstrous place depending on who lives in it #the kitchen itself is filled w things that can hurt. u can burn or cut urself by accident #passive aggression coated in small niceties. the hidden frustration of a family eating peacefully at the dinner table #parents fighting in the kitchen.. the angry and exhausted housewife.. abused children #someone killing crabs or lobster or whatever in the sink for dinner #ur throat slit with the same knife ur mother uses to prepare dinner. bleeding to death on the kitchen floor #i remember when my mom used to yell and hit me she’d bring me a bowl of cut up fruit as if that could make up for it. i can definitely see #-that turned into a poem #there are just. so many interesting possibilities for this concept i think #am i even making sense #txt
