Welcome Home, but Every Neighbor is embodying MLP Creepypasta/Horror Story, lol

YES THIS WAS ENTIRELY INSPIRED BY THE RAINBOW FACTORY AU (made by @dodozoi ) AND THE CUPCAKES AU (made by @azraelcreates )! I just love them so much omg- I saw them, then my thought was like "Okay, but what if each neighbor was based on a separate MLP Creepypasta/Horror Story? Welcome Home seems to mesh well with MLP horror fiction." I couldn't find a Welcome Home AU like this, so here's my idea!

So, like, here some examples:

Poppy loves baking, so, it makes sense that she would be Cupcakes. Her personality would basically be Poppy, BUT she's hiding the true secret of what is in her baked goods. The neighbors that do help don't see her sneak in the secret ingredient when they aren't looking, or don't realize that an ingredient may not be what it's labeled.

Julie is a rainbow monster, so she would be Rainbow Factory. Sure, she may or may not actually have/work at a rainbow factory (still ironing out the details), but she is still using gruesome means to make rainbows for whatever reason she needs them. Her sister's may or may not be in on the business, too.

Wally might be based on The Candy Mare. If I do have him based on that story, he'd take the role of... Well... The Candy Mare! He'd be entirely made of various sweets, intending to eat random people who wander into the neighborhood. He'd be great at hiding his candy features, however, often using extreme measures to do so. From potions made by one of the other neighbors, to makeup (most likely also made by sweets, in order not to irritate his candy skin), to whatever he can manage. He wants his victims to be calm until the very end. Home would most likely be a gingerbread house.

Best part about this AU, in my opinion?: None of the neighbors are going to be aware of the other neighbors having these disturbing tendencies. Nobody going to know what Poppy's got going on but Poppy. Nobody is going to know that Julie uses unethical practices to make rainbows but Julie (and maybe her sisters). Nobody is going to know that Wally is a being made of candy that is eating people and that Home is actually a gingerbread house and NOT an oddly decorated house other than Home and Wally.

Other ideas I have are Eddie being An Apple Sleep Experiment and an alternative version of Wally revolving around The Cough. But I will get to those when I get to them! I'm most likely going to base their designs around the human designs for the Welcome Home characters, as well. Why? Because I like drawing them! OwO

I'm not certain who you mean by main cast so I'm just gonna choose a bunch of characters

Partner/Lune: it was once forgiveness long ago, but claire taught him to know better than that. deliver justice swiftly, before more can be stolen from him.

Grovyle/Claude: don't mistake his forgiveness for trust. it is uneasy and tense, and he won't hesitate to strike down those who betray him. it's nothing personal, just business.

Celebi/Haruka: her job is not to interfere, merely to observe. and yet, she dreams of vengeance.

Dusknoir/Asterios: punishment for sinners, and forgiveness for all but himself.

Adaman: practiced, white-knuckled neutrality. he cannot bring himself to forgive, but he can't take a life for something as petty as vengeance.

Irida: cautious, holy judgement. she guiltily prays for a forgiveness she doesn't want.

Rei: forgiveness given in a childish plea for connection. don't leave.

Laventon: he's seen more pain than he cares to admit. forgiveness extended in patient understanding, before it's too late.

Volo: vengeance, total and absolute.

Hero/Claire: she never had the option. it's not her place to choose. for all the fires of vengeance that burn in her soul, she loves and loves and loves.

My ponysona would have a knife cutiemark and everypony would think she's a serial killer because he's really standoffish and weird but the cutiemark actually symbolizes that his job is cutting fruit

Design inspos for some of the characters:

Mare's big ass coat collar is inspired by genshin impacts Dainsleif's coat collar. I just really like big coat collars that obscure faces. (also gonna say this, I do like genshin's designs and story, but I hate the company itself)

Ink's design/outfit was inspired by a Genshin Impact Wanderer cosplayer wearing a different outfit.

Dust's design was inspired by all the people drawing him without his face shown. I love all the artists who do that they're all cool as hell.

Killer's outfit was inspired by the music video for the song Butchers Vanity (I know the song fits Horror more, But the outfit gives me Killer vibes)

Geno's design is inspired by part 4 Jotaro (Jojo's bizarre adventure)

Reaper/Death's design was inspired by Cyno from Genshin Impact, and also I don't recall ever seeing an Anubis inspired Reaper so I wanted to make one.
