My god, is 4pm to early to go to bed because god it has been a long weekend
#I spent all weekend helping with a baby shower and my god#I made these sick balloon garland and flower backdrop#and it help together all morning and then as soon as it started it fell and ruined my hard work#I fixed it and then it fell again and it was beyond repair#and I was so sad because I had legit spent hours working on it and it just broke#but I couldn’t starting crying because I had to be on my best behaviour or else I get told I’m being a dick#so I sucked it up and dealt with it#and it was just all these people who I didn’t really know#and I was not in the mood to deal with making conversation#and now I’m just tired#Aiyah rambles

back from good ol’ WY. here’s some pictures from my travels :)
#it was!!! so wonderful!!!!#like. it rained? but it was nice to experience rainy weather up there#i’ve only been in WY when it’s sunny… it was really cool seeing it shrouded in clouds and fog#and it made it so cool outside to ahh it was so nice. such a great change of pace#at least from the constant triple digits in cali 😮💨#i camped at wolf creek- ^pictured above. right off of snake river#it was great. had dutch oven chicken and rice the first night and s’mores on both nights#and in the morning… i’d wake up and grab the binoculars and run outside#so i could watch the bald eagles across the river. i’d wake up and hear them calling#and this morning!!! i saw two of them chasing each other#they’d fly way up high and back down in seconds i had to watch them without the binoculars#i couldn’t keep up otherwise#it was so lovely… i had such a great time. i can’t wait to go back#especially because next summer!! i’m gonna bring my little brother with me#& we’re gonna go to YELLOWSTONE!!!!!!!#i’ve been but he hasn’t. i can’t wait to show it to him#also!!! that dandelion above^. was LEGIT the biggest dandelion i’d ever seen.#liam and i wished on it together. top 10 yaoi momence#& SPEAKING OF BIG…….#i saw just the most MASSIVE slugs last night. they were longer than my hand!!!!!!!!!#they came out when it rained… two of them moving along one in front of the other#they had black spots… i wish i got pictures but liam was taking a video of them and#i was using the flashlight on my phone so he could have good lighting (it was very dark…)#maybe i’ll get him to send me the video ^_^!!!

#delete later#did a good compromise today. my therapist will be proud. only minorly panicky now#and have been making my chainmail things and it makes me very happy#have started designing the arm bracers abd bought fabric glue for the material ill be using#probs gonna make it velcrow abd add decorative buckles so dont have to worry about flaps of material#have the shape sorted and am gonna experiment with foam and stuff#have a good idea pf how to attach thr chainmail to it. just how to make it all stiff enough that it keeps its shape#ive been using cardboard for a lot of things but i dont like using it for wearable stuff bc i worry about washing things#im a messy person i need to be able to wash things without it falling apart#i have a yoga mat that might be good. i would just need to figure oit how to set it in a certain position#i have a tube i can dry it over. it might be a douse in pva and dry over cellophaned tube sorta deal#the cape is going well. hood is finished. cloak itself needs to be sewed around tge bottom and the front edge hemmed#thrn its just attaching thrm and decorating#i have fake autumn leaves abd acorns and i want to sculpt some shelf mushrooms out of my super light clay#but idk if thats overkill. i mean its my costune so that doesbt matter i guess. im very proud of myself on this project and i love it#and i even nabaged to do sone work roday despite only being able to think about chainmail#legit spent entire morning making the main piece. needs lengthening but its looking good abd solid#OH ALSO I FUCKING CALLED THE DENTISTS. i havent been in four years bc of anxiety abd TODAY I CALLED A PLACE#REGISTERED THERE AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR NEXT WEEK#i did SO WELL TODAY

The thing is,,, even if it turns out I am lovable and someone wants to be with me in a queer way, I think,,, I think once we go to bed together for the first time and I just go on top of the covers and only use a blanket, I think that might be a dealbreaker

It’s 2am and I’m once again perusing my asmr subscriptions and again thinking “I totally need to make a post about how a lot of asmr is comedy-based” because I’ve been startled into laughter way too many times. I’m trying to sleep here not wake my family LMAO
#WHEN I TELL YOU A GOOD PORTION OF ASMR IS COMEDY#AND IT IS SO OVERLOOKED#rn im watching an asmrist that’s wearing a Mona Lisa costume (their head in a FRAME LOL)#and telling the audience they immediately trusted them bc they wore a slipknot shirt to the louvre#like that one asmrist who was rp’ing the ‘worst hairdresser’#and brought out a hammer#then went lol just playing with u and put it back down#made me SNORT#also the RP ones??? mate it’s a whole netflix limited series in 40 minutes it’s incredible how skilled and committed some asmrists are#the PROPS. the COSTUMING. the SOUND DESIGN (obviously)#anyway might delete this in the morning#but while it’s not needed as much anymore#asmr legit helped me so much with my insomnia and anxiety#wish people didn’t judge it so harshly with such little information#tho there’s definitely some weird corners out there (but where isn’t there a weird corner??)#ren rambles#asmr

hate being sick fr
#hate it in general but oh god the timing is so bad#i was supposed to go buy some little presents for this kid in my family cause she's coming over with her parents (my dad's cousin + his wife#and i already planned on going to the japan town and buying these cute stationaries + a case since she likes that kinda stuff#and i was going to go and have lunch there and eat good food and dessert and have a good time on my own like i love to do#but i started feeling off during my morning classes and went back home and i have a fever#but if it was just for today whatever#BUT IN 4 DAYS IT'S CARNAVAL!!! THE FIRST SINCE BEFORE THE PANDEMIC!!! AND CONSEQUENTLY MY FIRST ONE AS AN ADULT!!!!#i absolutely cannot be sick then like i will legit cry#i've been looking forward to this so much#i've made plans with like 3 different friend groups for different days#plus on saturday my brothers my brother's girlfriend and i are supposed to party together#and i've been looking forward to it cause my oldest brother always said that when i turned 18 he'd take me and the middle brother to carnava#but then i turned 18 in the first year of the pandemic and 19 in the second and last year it was still pretty bad so no carnaval again#so like i hate being sick in general but i can't stay sick like i refuse#i think i it's tonsilitis cause my friend had it like last week and we shared drinks before she found out she had it#if that's the case it means antibiotics for like a week which means no drinking for me during carnaval#which... yeah i'm prob gonna ignore it if i feel better by saturday

#yesterday morning he rqed spam bowl unfortunately were out of furikake#very funny tho bc lamp had also asked for spam bowl. like 2 minutes b4 he did#its very funny 2 me that im designted spam bowl maker bc its legit the easiest thing ever. idm tho bc it gives me an ego boost bc everybodys#like This is so delicious ^_^ as if it isnt very easy. so i get to be like Heh... yeah... they call me 'the chef'#even tho i literally have to make lamp slice the spam for me bc im so bad at it JRNFJFNF they always come out wonky and uneven and like#paper thin. like they taper so direly#but ya. spam bowl so easy#for those unaware its legit judt spam and then rice and rice seasoning and rhen eggs.#i usually do like 3 slices of spam cook them up til theyre likee caramelized or whatever then i cut them up#the rice. ok dark secret. im sorry. i use boil in a bag#ITS ALL WE EVER HAVE is either boil in a bag or the microwave cups... sry... sry..... im sry#but anyways. ya its like 2ish cups.#sometimes 1.5.... idk i feel theyve made the boil in a bags smaller used to be me and lamp could splitsies one but this last one we had to#supplement with the rice cups which i dont like to do bc the rice cups r for beef stew. and unfortunstely km down 2#and also unfortunstely is the extra cup each was TOO MUCH rice we shouldve just done one extra cup and splitsies it half . but anyways#ya. so its that and then like a ?? sunny side up egg#my dad always gers on my ass bc j just call it a fried egg but its like. look all i do is crack the eggs (3) into the pan (we have a small#pan that makes a perfect circle of egg that perfectly firs rhe bowl)#and rhen i just put a lid over it and turn the heat off (pan hot from spam)#and the steam gets it perfect. u want the yolk RUNNY#anyways yeah. and then rice and furikake to taste#i need to train myself to use Less to be honestly. always i use too much DJFNFJNFFJ. thats why were out#but ya. my dad liked spam when he was a kid and then didnt have it 4 a while n rhen i made spam bowls for dinner one day and now hes#constantly like .... I think soam would taste good in this#earlier he was like Get this. spam in ramen... and i was like yeah i think that would be good 👍👍👍 its kinda funny#im so glad everybody likes it tho bc it means j dont have 2 buy it 4 myself DJFNFJNFNF

#so I’m working this summer#which is crazy because I haven’t worked since august- I promised myself I’d focus fully on classes#this job is with the co-op program so my school gave it to me and it’s with the government#and lemme tell y’all - this is the worst shit ever#i basically work with the military (hijabi working with the feds????) on top of that they’ve made it mandatory to work in person#since it’s a classified area they don’t allow phones so u legit have to lock up your phones the entire day#my manager doesn’t respect me and basically asked me to be the admin person on the team EVEN THO I AM LITERALLY A MASTERS STUDENT#i have to drive 1 freaking hour to the job - it’s legit outside of the city#ANDDDDD one of the other students has been bothering me😵💫😖😖😖😖😖😖😖😖#I AM SO ANNOYED AND ANGRY AT MY CURRENT POSITION#i paid an extra $800 out of pocket to be in this coop and they’ve given me the worst placement with the worst position#if I could I would’ve quit after the first week#i made the mistake of being nice to the student and telling him I like football and NOW HE WONT FREAKING LEAVE ME ALONEEEE#I’m so depressed I just want to be alone at lunch and while I work but he’s always messaging me and pestering me#like bruh not even my manager pays this much attention to me#I want to tell him to leave me alone but idk how without being rude#I’m trying to figure out a lie that will get my manager to let me work from home#this is the worst thing ever#I legit cry every morning before I go into work like this SUCKS#i really needed to get this out#being unemployed was the best thing ever#and I vow to never work a job that’s in person ever again

#de work#community seating no assigned desks right? been legit bullied out of 4 seats in 5 months#im the youngest person in here i think and most of these out of pocket ppl are in their 60s. i knew i hated gen x for a reason#so i took the largest desk in the area. in the back away from them. if it gets worse or a mirror of yesterday then im thinking of reporting#damn get a life we're not even in the same reporting tree. I got heated then i reminded myself some ppl don't grow out of middle school#not 12. can't relate#and in case you were like 'de how tf you get bullied out of a seat?' lmty. Seats 1&2: ppl assign themselves seats & you can't do#Shit ab it. Seat3: the b next to me loudly declared to her team that she didn't know who i was and wasn't comf sitting next to me#Instead of being a decent human and idk introducing herself to me she's just been weird af since. I left at lunch that day#To wrk from home. seat 4: I've been there a few months. there's a dude who uses this desk sometimes. i left a hello note in the cube#telling him he could use my tissues and whatever and introduced myself. he never wrote back. yest he tried to sit in the cube but#I was there. He didn't introduce himself or talk to me just made a deal ab having to sit behind that cube. then he & this other#dude who literally refuses to say hello or good morning back to me came in my cube and started talking ab what was on my screen#which was a meeting. rude af. not okay. at fucking all#I've complained to my mgr 3 times ab this shit but my team's in another state and they dgaf. Im in my 5th seat rn and just trying not#to care. My boss did say she's heard my office is clique-y. I've been told there's theft here. I'm just trying to get my check#i don't play these games#2024

#really thought i was gonna end up in the er this morning#kittens woke me up around 5am and i felt fine but after a bit i went to shift onto my other side and#suddenly there was such intense pain in my sternum i could hardly move it felt like there was a crack down the center#and someone was trying to pry open my ribcage#my chest felt super tight and i couldnt breathe deep#was hoping it would just pass but an hour later i had to get up to top up the cats dry food and#my god it was torture i thought i was gonna pass out just trying to bend or crouch#legit had to drop the kibble from like a foot above the bowl cause i just couldnt get any lower#barely made it back to my bed#then out of nowhere my teeth started chattering so bad it wasnt even that cold in my room#had to clench my jaw hard just to stop#literally started googling symptoms and#i was in tears and a panic thinking i was having a minor heart attack#was trying to decide if it was worth calling my mom to ask her to take me to the hospital#decided against it#still not sure if i made the right call#managed to fall asleep for a couple more hours and its not as bad but my chest still doesnt feel right#like ive had minor chest pain many times in the past just due to stress and anxiety#but never somwthing like this#im so scared lol#guess we'll see what happens????#and of course tomorrow i have a super important appt an hour away so i hope i feel better by then#anyways i doubt anyone read this#thats fine it was mostly just for me to get it out and had nowhere else to#i will tell my therapist about it all on thurs.... if i make it that far :)#personal#tdl
