#this is the first time ive drawn all their true forms first for a line up #i always end up drawing foxgloves host and usually chings host too #im gonna of course do a version with all their hosts #tyv i know is technically in his host but i did draw his actual head #i just overlaid it with his tv #i tried to set up this line up so i could remove and add accessories #without having to erase or redraw stuff #thats also why hollys legs can be seen thru his skirt because i didnt color his skirt in yet lol #i also am trying to give any character with long enough hair to style an 'up' and 'down' version #this has been fun so far :3 #brambleramble #when its done ill make a more HD link to the full pictures #i knowwwww i know tumblr compresses large images

#talking woahh ohhhh #the appeal of lin lie to me is that he always manages to fuck himself up one way or another. every comic he falls flat on his face #he also speaks in his native language! idk i was nervous they were gonna ignore mandarin being his first language instead of english #other wins/gripes. his suit is Eh to me a little too blue. and they got rid of his family's symbol + thigh strap :( mask Might grow on me #there are. also a lot of colours. but i also like that he is constantly pouting/pursing his lips. do you think you look cool doing that boy #no skirt thing either but im not as devastated . i will however burst into tears whenever i look at his model and the thigh strap isnt ther #is that all my stuff out of the way. idk.#i like the black in his design + he has the same lines on his outfit as shang chi. i Think it's meant to resemble a pan chang knot but idk #either way. not a big fan of it in practice but the symbolism is cool and FUCK they got rid of his pointy boots i just realized. sigh #lot of complaints here but i like his face and abilities so that's all that i actually care about. even if i know i'll suck at him

Having a fearful moment where I think one of my friends might be transphobic.

#personal #we were talking about video games and the topic switched to Hogwarts Legacy #because my friend is still an active Harry Potter fan in 2025 #and let me start with the fact that I’ve always tried to assume they just didn’t know about how awful J K is #but yesterday proved that they are aware #because they were upset that the girl characters don’t have the option to wear pants and can only wear skirts #I replied by saying how that would line up with J K’s terf nature and she’d probably hate to see a woman in pants #to which my friend said ‘but she put a trans character in the game!’#what I should’ve said to that was ‘that doesn’t excuse her history of transphobia and trans misogyny’#instead I said that wasn’t even a good portrayal #I mean for fucks sake she named her Sirona Ryan #like making a character based on the people you hate doesn’t make it okay???#that’s a real ‘I can’t be racist I have black friends’ excuse #and I might have to be an adult and ask my friend if they can really overlook J K’s history of transphobia and racism that easy #(and the rampant antisemitism in that game)#for the sake of a bland game and even blander new movies #like having an attachment to books you read as a kid is understandable #but I lose that ability to understand when you’re actively putting more money in her pockets #I’m stressing cause I can tell they didn’t like that I brought up how J K is a bad person

#the miss Americana post got me thinking #that I wonder if the reason it isn’t liked in some circles is because she’s so vulnerable #and it shows her own insecurities and struggles on full display even if it’s kind of between the lines #and they don’t want to admit that some of her struggles are innate and not just attributable to outside forces/people #like taylor does have anxiety and depression and disordered eating and who knows what other kinds of struggles #that will always exist in addition to whatever else happens in her life and who she’s with #sure outside sources may make things worse (hello TTPD ahem)#but the trauma and mental health struggles were kind of brave of her to talk about even if she skirted around them #and maybe people just don’t know what to do with that?#(also I just know— never mind.)#eta: I know the activism angle is problematic to some and I think maybe framing it that way in the general public was a misstep #because the movie is more about her finding her voice/herself in general #but the political stuff took centre stage in the press and on social media and obviously people are disappointed #that she didn’t use her platform more publicly or thoughtfully (eg civil rights reproductive rights environmental issues political issues)#but for people to hate it because of that… like yes maybe it’s disappointing on that one point #but as a doc it’s thoughtful and profiles its subject in a general sense well

yesterday in the airport.... there was a beautiful boy at the krispy kreme counter. when a man has a jaunty attitude while he interacts with me, recent events have lead me to expect the worst but he was chill so while i walked away with my family i wished i had not been like this 😐 .... i wished i had been more whimsical... then i realized i forgot a drink for me so i headed back sans my family and he said can i ask you a question? not trying to be funny. all that black, is it a religious thing or just because you want to ? i said no just because i want to 😊 he then asked where i was from. i said from here! he was still unconvinced. what part? i told him, and my clothing was SO COMPELLING to him he forgot this line of questioning and to CARE about me being from there and he said All the time? so i said sometimes! well it's cold, it's winter! and we parted on those terms . who is as harrowing as me . who is HARROWHARKING like that

#and everybody clapped #but he really did say that trust me guys #i had on a black velvet skirt and coat and flocked velvet floral blouse over a striped black velvet dress shirt and then a flocked velvet #shirt under that. maroon. and leather dress shoes. fun outfit i can't say is common but i didn't know it looked like religious devotion #or warranted comment #im very proud may all my outfits walk the line between fanatic devotion and just wearing that stuff for no reason #i thought of her instantly.... is she goth or is she religious is the Harrow Question to me now #harrowhark nonagesimus #i guess

everytime im posting in the group chat i wonder if im annoying and everybody is just too polite to tell me to shut up

and yea ofc i know im annoying, everybody can be annoying, and i def realize when i have been particularly annoying, and i try very hard to not be too annoying, but im always afraid that i didnt notice it and that i did actually took it too far and i know its not realistic but i wish there was a socially acceptable way of telling smbdy they are a tad annoying and also that humans would be able to accept hearing that gracefully too.

its like.... its like, im not completely sure if my sound quality is fine with my headset when im on a voice call. nobody has ever said anything, but i have been on voice calls with people when the quality was horrible, or the connection was bad, but i def havent ever said anything. has anybody else? do they know? i wish people would tell me, but i dont tell anybody. argh.

oh speaking of shit that shouldn’t matter, i’ve been thinking of Miles slowly being pushed into a box of how a “real girl” acts and people saying “you can’t have it both ways” to her in a way to reference the two cakes in atsv, because even slightly tomboyish cis girls will be told to wear more makeup, heels, stuff like that. like the “oh you wanted to be trans so bad now you have to suck it up” attitudes is what i’m talking about, where people will try and tell miles that she needs to accept her new normal? do you get what i’m saying? anyway miles will have to learn to fight against that and realize when that’s happening, and it kind of already happens in her “pretend to be overly masculine so nobody suspects anything” arc but is way more brutal when she starts transitioning

#this attitude isn’t from her parents . well like. okay it’s complicated but it’s not transphobic #so miles will start wearing skirts and dresses at some point and rio and jeff are gonna be like that’s too short. that’s too short. change #when the clothes aren’t actually that short because they’re just those types of parents who are VERY protective and worried #which is also due to their line of work #so it makes sense they’d have stricter rules once miles starts dressing ‘like a girl’ but that’s also something they’ll work on in the fic #you know?#not tagging

Unpopular opinion: the heavy push toward anti-advertising on Tumblr does nothing to harm the advertisers you hate but is doing a huge amount of damage to small businesses who rely on reblogs to get the word out about their stuff.
