Working on some detailed personal art again finally.. His older cousin is known from another piece I made. They're both soothsayers who read smoke. Unlike his cousin who can only see positive outcomes, he can only see sorrows. His name is Sreten and he's always felt like he was living in the shadow of his cousin (Jasminko) but unsure if he hates him or wants to be him- not helped by his parents who push him to 'be more like him'. He loves goldfish because he relates to their survival being so dependent on care often not given and the acceptance of their neglect, he keeps many as well-loved pets. He prefers to read with the smoke of firs.

Could I request Squirrelflight, Leafpool and Whitewing together (or one of the siblings if it's too many cats)? They don't really have a close bond in the books despite being kin and in the same apprentice generation and I always found it a missed opportunity.

I feel like Whitepaw would be interested in herbs and pay attention to what Leafpaw is saying while Squirrelpaw is completely distracted by being in the forest adult free.

Whitepaw would be an older sister figure to them, in where she listens to both of them and 100% tries (and fails) to keep them out of trouble.

Unfortunatly canon forgot Whitepaw was older than them, so she can be the sweet baby than¹ the sisters like if you wanna make her younger than Leafie and Skwerl!

My cousin, a published writer, a well-known poet in my country and a literature professor, for whom I've always been no.1 support ever since her first attempts at writing in high school, told me that I must stop writing as a hobby because that's her thing and since I'm writing fantasy mostly my writing could never have any important artistic value anyways.

kyoya otori and emu otori have a strange amount of narrative and thematic similarity despite being opposite personalities. the babies in very rich and important families, with a slew of very successful older siblings. theyre both consistently underestimated by their families, with an expectation to fit in a certain box prescribed for them. their inherent personalities - kyoyas sharp and callous ambition, emus bubbly and whimsical dreams for the park - make fitting in this box a struggle, and diminishing themselves to conform to it leaves them miserable

when they meet someone who loves and supports them as they are, without these expectations - tamaki and later the host club for kyoya, wxs for emu - they come into their own and it becomes apparent that they have unique skills that are valuable to their families' business that would have otherwise been stifled. but now they have a new dream that makes them happy, and they realise following in their siblings' footsteps isnt what they want after all. and with their family accepting them as they are, they have a new goal and they thrive

oh and theyre both rich and powerful otori families with business in recreation whaaat

i need kyoya and emu as each others favourite cousins to the complete bafflement of everyone thank you
