Bref commentaire sur le nouveau roman de Murakami Haruki

Le vendredi 14 avril, le nouveau livre de Haruki Murakami, intitulé La Ville et ses murs incertains, a été publié à Tokyo. Les fans invétérés de l'écrivain, surnommés les "harukistes", se sont rués à la librairie de Shinjuku, mis en vente dès minuit, pour se procurer le livre. Les universités de Tokyo ont suivi le pas et ont disposé sur les étagères des exemplaires de l’ouvrage dès le premier jour de sa sortie.

Une nouvelle du même nom a été publiée en 1980 dans une revue littéraire (celle-ci est ponctuée : « La Ville, et ses murs incertains »). Mais, cette nouvelle est considérée comme culte par les fans, car l’écrivain l’a considérée comme une œuvre ratée et ne l’a incluse dans aucun de ses livres. En outre, elle a également servi de base à La fin des temps, et ce nouveau roman a été présenté avant sa sortie comme une réécriture de cette histoire. Comme je l’ai déjà lu, je vais faire un bref commentaire sur ce livre.

La diminution des noms propres et des références (à des romans, des morceaux, etc)

    On dit souvent qu’il y a trop de noms propres et trop de références dans les romans de Haruki Murakami. Nombreux sont ceux qui reconnaissent la présence d’un grand nombre de titres musicaux de jazz, de musique classique et d'autres genres dans ses œuvres. Cependant, aucun nom propre n’apparaît dans la première partie du dernier roman (il est composé de trois parties). Dans l’ensemble, il y a également beaucoup moins de noms propres que dans La fin des temps. Si certains trouveront que cela facilite la lecture, cela pourra aussi attrister certains harukistes qui aiment son style d’écriture consistant à noyer le lecture sous les références.

    Il convient de souligner qu'un passage du roman de García Marquez est cité dans la troisième partie, mais Murakami n'apporte aucune perspective critique nouvelle sur ce passage et semble l’avoir été inclus simplement pour justifier sa propre littérature.

2. Remise en question de son machisme

    Murakami a été accusé par Mieko Kawakami d’avoir une vision sexiste de la femme et de les représenter comme des objets sexuels et des nymphomanes dans un entretien en 2017. Dans ce dernier roman, peut-être en réponse à Kawakami, l'auteur a changé de perspective à l’égard des personnages féminins. L’homme en jupe apparaît dans ce roman. Le héros et la femme qui en tombe amoureuse mais n’aime avoir de relations sexuelles entretiennent une relation platonique, et le héros est souvent d’accord avec l’opinion de sa partenaire sur les rapports sexuels. Cependant, ce changement de perspective n’est peut-être dû qu’au fait que le héros d’âge moyen ne désire plus sexuellement les femmes.

    En outre, bien que la Russie et la Covid-19 soient évoqués brièvement dans ce roman, il ne s’agit finalement que d’une histoire d’amour entre un homme et une femme. Murakami, qui ne sait écrire que des histoires d’amour sans politique et n’est pas au niveau de Kenzaburō Ōe.

3. Trop de nostalgie

Le roman suit le parcours d'un personnage d'environ 40 ans qui navigue dans un monde imaginaire qu'il a créé lorsqu'il était adolescent avec sa petite amie de l'époque. Tout au long de l'histoire, la nostalgie de cet amour de jeunesse est présente et le héros tente même de retrouver sa petite amie d'antan à travers la propriétaire d'un café. Les traducteurs seront confrontés à un défi intéressant lors de la traduction de ce roman, car le narrateur utilise les termes japonais « Boku » pour représenter son moi adolescent et « Watashi » pour son moi adulte, tous deux étant des pronoms utilisés pour la première personne.

Cependant, lorsqu'il aborde la situation actuelle, l'auteur se borne principalement à faire la description de son propre monde imaginaire et occulte les questions sociales. Un autre reproche que l'on peut lui faire est le manque de représentation de la vieillesse, un thème important abordé par de grands écrivains japonais tels que Tanizaki, Kawabata ou Ōe à la fin de leur carrière. Son absence peut être interprétée de deux manières : soit comme un choix littéraire délibéré de l'auteur, soit comme une lacune. Pourtant, il est crucial de tenir compte de la vieillesse à notre époque.

Mardi 3 octobre 2017, le rendez-vous était donné peu avant midi au Pavillon Ledoyen, établissement de réception parisien, pour la présentation de la collection prêt-à-porter femme printemps/été 2018 de la marque agnès b. Article rédigé par: Elisa La saison estivale a inspiré à la créatrice, Agnès Troublé à l’état civil, une collection fidèle à ce qui a fait l���identité de la maison au fil des années, à savoir : l’intemporalité, le confort et l’harmonie. Agnès b. veut donner l’opportunité à quiconque porte ses créations, d’y voir leur dimension interchangeable, notamment avec des tenues pouvant correspondre à tout moment de la journée et de la soirée. À l’entrée de la salle de réception où se déroule le défilé, on nous offre un tote-bag noire, sur lequel s'inscrit « Protest against the rising tide of comformity » (Protestez face à la marée montante du conformisme, ndlr). Il s’agit d’une citation de Bob Dylan qui fait écho à ce qu’Agnès b. défend, c’est-à-dire une mode « aux antipodes de la fast-fashion », laissant la liberté de créer, recréer des silhouettes vestimentaires harmonieuses et singulières. « Le Printemps… en ville », « Le travail », « Vive les îles » ; pour cette saison, la vision d’Agnès b. se décline sur trois tableaux auxquels les artistes Bertrand Loubé, Jonone, Lek & Sowat, Elzo Durt et Icon ont collaborés. Quant aux chouettes et écritures gothiques d’Adrien Beau, elles font office de nouveaux logos de la maison. L'intemporalité et l'invitation au voyage C’est certainement dans le thème du "Printemps... à la ville" que l’intemporalité, à laquelle la créatrice fait référence, se distingue le plus. Un constat qui se fait du point de vue de l’identité de la marque et de la mode en général. Nous retrouvons ainsi des valeurs sûres de la maison. Parmi eux le trench, le perfecto, l’association du noir et du blanc sur des pièces comme des robes. On retrouve également des jupes plissées, des sweats, des ensembles tailleurs. Les impressions sur les robes des photos de paysages prises par agnès b. sont comme des cartes postales grandeur nature. Le bermuda, lui, est en cuir, clouté sur les côtés ou ample et quadrillé. De quoi offrir une panoplie d'options pour cette pièce décriée. Quant au sac à dos, lui aussi, en cuir, possède des anses. Il semble ainsi affirmer sa place dans les garde-robes, après avoir été réintroduit depuis quelques saisons déjà. Le tout s'agrémente de casquettes et de lunettes de soleil effet "miroir", pour se protéger des rayons du soleil. Sans oublier la dimension rock, emblématique de la marque. Il vient aussi se draper en tant que robe longue nouée à la taille. Agnès b. a ainsi choisi une matière confortable et idéale à porter durant la période estivale. Des robes satinées et des vestes en matières soyeuses viennent rappeler la légèreté des matières. Une fluidité tant recherchées en printemps comme en été. Lors du tournage de Neighbours, la jeune actrice a rencontré son collègue Jason Donovan
