Summary: Two pieces of art that are meant to be considered as a set that constitutes one contest entry depicting Bilbo teaching Sam how to read, and later listening to Sam tell him about a flower (pretending he's never heard of belladonna before and knows nothing about it)

Once more we only have one entry for this challenge but it was so exciting to see an art entry and a great one at that. 😊

Christina said she and Anthony focus on connecting before competing- they talk through their cues and hug and sync their breath. off ice, she's doing ballet twice a week, pilates once, 3 workouts a week - strength training twice, one cardio on the weekend. she constantly is working on her core. that her diet isn't strict but she likes eating healthy, eats whole foods, treats herself sometimes

praises Anthony and their coaches - said this season was their best one yet, that she's grateful. that their team has helped them find themselves as skaters and performers, that she wouldn't be the skater and person she is now without them

advice to young girls - "to dream big and to believe in yourself, it takes a lot of hard work and determination but you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it. it's important to surround yourself with a team that you trust and that believes in you. i would also say that it's important to have patience and to set small achievable goals, not just focus on the results"

NaruRitsu Week Day 2 - Love Languages / Flowers

Not super shippy, but what can say? I'm a sucker for flower symbolism. Meanings under the cut.

Ritsu White Poppy: Sleep. Petunia: Anger, resentment, "being with you is soothing." Lily of the Valley: Return to happiness. Chrysanthemum: Love, attraction, passion, romance.

Arashi Pink Orchid: Femininity, beauty, strength. Snapdragon: Deception. Red Adonis: Sorrowful remembrance. Chrysanthemum: Love, attraction, passion, romance, happiness, neglected love.

Arashi's got a little more depressing then Ritsu's, oops. The flowers have other meanings, but I just listed the ones that represent the reasons I chose them. The chrysanthemums were a bit last minute because I was sick of drawing flowers and scrolling through lists of flowers.

I was gonna give explanations on why I chose what I did, but I think it'd be more fun to see what your interpretations are! Or you can just ask, I guess.

Congratulations to this month's featured follower, @ravenbarley-barn! It is a long time follower with lots of great comments and I'm so glad to have it in my audience.

The OC it asked me to highlight is Erminestar! He's a serious guy who never expected to be leader but is respected regardless. He recently became mates with his deputy who was very understanding about the kits he brought back to camp a shortly before they got together. We love that for him.

Holy shit! I had to give myself two months to do it, but I did it - I wrote FORTY THREE DRABBLES for the birthday celebrations \lol/

I love celebrating my birthday because I've survived a lot of things by sheer luck honestly, and I think it's worth celebrating my continued existence despite it all. I enjoy giving more than getting, so being able to fill so many requests is a double bonus!

I don't dislike receiving though XD not by any stretch, so please if you're compelled to write, draw or pin 5$ to my shirt, in honor of my birthday (which was 7/20, but who cares about silly details) - don't let the passage of time hold you back.

Belated gifts are just as appreciated. Life's hard, and we do the best we can, so I get it ^_^
