Baby Jon not knowing which is which as he follows Damian the most thinking it’s you. He’s crawling after an angry baby. You just sat there babbling away as Damian sped crawls like a damn demons wanting to get away from the half kryptonian boy. As Damian speeds by you, Jon was gonna pass you until he realized Damian was you.

Eyes shining in happiness, he goo’s at you. Immediately hugging the adorable twin. Damian looks behind him, huffing in annoyance as he sees his twin getting smothered by the super. Jonathan rubs his chubby cheek against your own.

Damian growls, immediately speeding his crawling sped as he bull rushes Jon with his big bobble head. Making Jon blankly stare up at the ceiling. On his back, with his big head he cannot get up. Damian then just plops by his twin who just calmly watched that go down.

Part III - Wife - Nancy recalls her life as a wife, mother, and businesswoman (we begin at the year 1998 and then time skip to 2007 and again to 2015). Nancy has chosen to put her past behind her and is working hard to continue elevating her family's business while raising two rambunctious boys with her husband and business partner, but is it all truly enough to keep her past and her desires at bay? Can she continue playing the perfect wife and mother when temptation shows up at her front door?

Trigger Warnings: infidelity, drug use, sex and nudity.

Nancy Narrates: [Geoffrey proposed our junior year of university. I said yes]

Nancy Narrates: [Not a minute after graduation, I was walking down the aisle. I was ready to become a wife]

Nancy Narrates: [Ready for my parents to look at me with pride in their eyes]

Nancy Narrates: [I was going to be great]

Nancy Narrates: [On that day, I made a vow to my best friend]

Nancy Narrates: [A promise to stand by his side, in sickness and in health]

Nancy Narrates: [To be true and faithful to him]

Nancy Narrates: [I decided to pack away my past and leave it all behind me. This was the life I chose. I chose to be good. Normal. I chose him, and all that came with it]

Geoffrey: Goinggg uuup!

Nancy: [laughs]

Nancy: [whispers] Hey, you’re not asleep, are you?

Geoffrey: [grumbles] M’sorry. Too drunk for more, I think.

Nancy: [chuckles] It’s fine. You can sleep.

Geoffrey: [sighs] Hey. I wanna have a buncha babies.

Nancy: Oh, so you’re really drunk then.

Geoffrey: M’serious. Want 4 boys, 4 girls. All name Geoffrey Jr. and Nancy Jr. At least one’s named is Zachary.

Nancy: Hey, listen here, lover boy. Let’s just enjoy this. Just you and me and us trying not to drown in the work my parents give us.

Geoffrey: And then babies?

Nancy: [hums] Maybe babies. Give me a year to think about it, ok?

Geoffrey: [sighs happily] I love you. My wife.

Nancy: I love you too.

Nancy Narrates: [I was elated. I was a woman who was capable of loving a man. I was a woman who was capable of making love. I’ve never felt more hopeful. My future never felt so bright-]

Nancy Narrates: [And just like that, the high was over]

Geoffrey: Hey, Nance? Are you missing work again today? Your mom has been really... erm, Queenie-ish the past week with you being out. I’m scared she’s going to actually bite me. [chuckles nervously]

Nancy: Damn you, Geoffrey! What happened to a year? It’s barely been 90 days!

Geoffrey: Wha-

Nancy: I should have known, you can barely pull out of the driveway properly!

Geoffrey: Wait, you’re pregnant?

Nancy: [scoffs] You don’t sound very sorry about it!

Geoffrey: You’re pregnant! I’m going to be a dad?!

Geoffrey: [sings] I’m your baby’s daaadddy!

Nancy: [sniffles, laughs] I can’t believe you did this. I could strangle you.

Geoffrey: Hey, we did this. Me and you.

Nancy: God, what are we going to do with a baby? I don’t even think I’ve ever met a baby.

Geoffrey: We got this, Nancy. It’s us, we’re talking about. We’ll be great!

Nancy Narrates: [Who would have thought; a wife and soon a mother. This was the life I chose]

Queenie: You should head home, Nancy. I’ve scheduled you a prenatal massage to your residence for this evening. I’ll have my intern take over your projects for the time being.

Nancy: Oh. Thank you, mother. That’s very kind of you.

Queenie: It’s the least I could do. You are carrying my grandson, after all.

Queenie: [murmurs] My lucky girl.

Nancy Narrates: [A wife, a mother, the perfect daughter]

Doctor: We’re going to give one big push, ok mom? You’re doing great! Ok, now push, Mrs. Landgraab!

Geoffrey: You are doing great, Nancy! Wow! You’re amazing! That’s it, just keep breathing. In and out. In and out-

Nancy: Aughhhh! Geoffrey, shut the fuck up!

Geoffrey: Okay!

Doctor: And push!

I can’t really explain what stranger things means to me. A show about outcasts, by outcasts, for outcasts. When you’re different, sometimes you feel like a mistake. But you make me feel like I’m not a mistake at all, like I’m better for being different.

Now some Vampire Lore, which explains why Lucy mainly attacks children and is Voluptuous. Other than children being a much easier, vulnerable target for a new vampire, especially at night, and vampires being attractive to lure people to them:

One of Stoker's primary sources was Ármin Vámbéry, a Hungarian-Jewish traveler and orientalist. Van Helsing even gives him a shout-out in the book later. Stoker consulted him a lot about the legends in the Balkans and Austria-Hungary (which Transylvania was part of at the time).

Dracula is heavily based on the area's Strigoi. And partly on the Estries (who are associated with the Succubi: Beautiful, blood-thirsty female demons, with succubi thought to favor babies and young children as prey.) The Strigoi are closer to what we know as vampires due to them rising from the grave, or being created by something unholy. So Lucy turned into a child-drinking succubus.

The Strigoi and Estries both:

Gain vitality by drinking human blood

Can shapeshift

Influence people's minds

Mainly feed on infants and children

the Strigoi also target young girls, the Estries target all genders but mostly men

On the child feeding, Wilhelm Schmidt reports in 1865 the tradition "upon the birth of a child, when one tosses a stone behind oneself and exclaims "This into the mouth of the strigoi!" Note the stones found in the skulls of people suspected to have been vampires.

There are striking similarities between them and the Estries. Note the common "strix" root. Screaming is also a feature that they have, which is similar to the banshee.

More about the Count and less about Lucy: The Strigoi are associated with sorcery, which is very relevant in Dracula, as he used to be a sorcerer of Scholomance. The Strigoi influence people's minds, especially those who are ill, have sleeping issues, suffer from alcoholism, and more. This is shown by Dracula's influence on the sleepwalking Lucy and on Renfield.

So ok, it’s amazing growth on the part of Lockwood to speak with Skull and thank him as he would a living person, when you consider Lockwood’s rage and grief always prevented him from seeing Visitors as conscious beings. But it’s interesting that it comes right after he examines Marissa’s “living remains”.

And it’s amazing growth on the part of Skull to save Lockwood just after this at all.

Because while Skull clearly loves and has a close bond with Lucy, he has no loyalty or love for Lockwood and he didn’t have to save them both. A more selfish and possessive thing to do would have been to separate Lucy from the Lockwood-and-Marissa-slapfight and just let the two be killed by the charge. Then Skull would have had a grieving Lucy all to himself. But right there in Marissa's office Skull just saw what happened to humans who bond too closely with a powerful spirit and how it warps the living into dead.  

So he saved the only person who could stand between him and Lucy and protect her from him. Skull is possessive of his relationship with Lucy, but in the end not to the point of hurting her.

As an autismed individual I fucking love Jon and his “deeply annoying child” it should’ve been talked about more. We deserve more tism Jon. (We aren’t even going to talk about the alexithymia he has bass boosted in his brain that’s a whole nother can of worms but I love it too)

Jonathan Crane, character analysis.

Jonathan is a man who doesn't waste food whatsoever, he doesn't treat himself to very expensive food, would make a scene if the burgers are way too overpriced, and is very stingy when it comes to sharing.

He'd rather eat a bug infested fruit than throw it out, because at one point in his life wasting food was the difference between life and death.

His grandmother neglected him to the point he didn't eat for days, and didn't have any proper nutritions for weeks.

Sadly that resulted in trauma that was never resolved, and he stuffs his pockets with food whenever he can but eats very little amounts so he can save them up.

When he's treated out to dinners he eats as much as possible like his life depends on it (and it does in his head.) he's very sneaky and secretive about his eating habits (I'm sure he had to adapt to fool the old lady into keeping him alive as a child)

He'd probably also eat the food you label as yours in the fridge without a second glance, and don't try to get back at him, you'll never find his secret stash.

Bonus:

Eddie is absolutely horrified at the stuff Jon is willing to eat, regularly empties the fridge and restocks so that Jonathan doesn't reach for that moldy cheese.
