jonas venture's most famous inventions comfort each other after his death. <3

putting this under a read more bc i know im gonna get rambly BUT: the main idea behind this comic was that i got the mental image of helper being the first person to greet rusty in the (now) empty venture compound after jonas dies and rusty drops out. after a rewatch of the series i noticed that TECHNICALLY he wouldve seen helper again before this bc we see him in a flashback opening the car door for him as he leaves college so this comic TECHNICALLY doesnt make sense but im pretending that didnt happen. ANYWAY theres just smth so depressing to me about these two.......the fact that helper is the only one whos ALWAYS with him when we see a flashback to younger rusty. this robot loves him more than his actual father and it makes me deeply upset.

Jude: Jonas, are we almost done?!

Jonas: Ja, very soon.

Jude: Okay, it's just, you keep saying that, and that concept of 'soon' is starting to feel a bit elastic.

Jonas: Look at the sights!

Jude: Yeah, they're nice. Didn't you say this would be a... what's the word you used?

Jonas: Spaziergang.

Jude: Right, and that implies a short walk.

Jonas: Yes, less than two hours.

Jude: That's fully a hike. If I'd known I would have worn the right shoes.

Jonas: Well, if you want to come travelling with me soon, I think you should be able to walk for just two hours.

Jude: My shoes are biting my heels.

Jonas: Why don't you have practical shoes?

Jude: I'm done. I'm sitting.

Jonas: It's a nice view here.

Jude: It is.

Jonas: So how is it going with the girl?

Jude: Who?

Jonas: With the purple lipstick.

Jude: Oh, Gabija. There's nothing to tell.

Jonas: You are not interested?

Jude: I'm somewhere between interested and not interested.

Jonas: How complicated.

Jude: [awkward laugh] I'm just figuring myself out.

Jonas: Home in Ireland, did you have a girlfriend then? I know, you don't like to tell me things about yourself. I was just curious. Maybe, I thought, you've never had one, or something, and you are afraid of commitment.

Jude: I've had one. Many. Like, five, or something.

Jonas: Okay, mister Casanova. You can brag all you like, but I bet that includes the ones you had in Grundschule.

Jude: [laughs]

Jonas: Okay, I get it. You don't want a serious relationship. You are in college.

Jude: Yeah, something like that.

Jonas: I know places we can go.

Jude: You do?

Jonas: Yes! I know all of the bars. Come on, let's get to the end of the trail.

Jude: But my shoes...

Jonas: We can switch shoes.

Jude: What size are you?

Jonas: 47

Jude: What's that in UK sizing?

Jonas: How could I know? Try them.

Jude: This is weird, right?

Jonas: Why?

Jude: Because shoes are sweaty.

Jonas: Would you rather be sweaty or bleeding?

Jude: Fine, okay.

Jonas: Dude! These have no arch support. You really walk around in such flat shoes all day?

Jude: So what?

Jonas: I can feel the stones and the ground under the soles of them. They are not suitable for [fades out]

characters i‘d love to see as a rocky beach crimes investigator

morton we already know he can do it from tödliche spur, he deals with weird rich people on a day to day basis, there is something there for sure, he‘s classy he‘s sassy, maybe with cotta as backup

kelly we know she‘s an absolute queen & i‘d love to know more about her, bonus points if she‘s investigating with jeffery

onkel titus maybe something involving his past at the circus, his backstory sounds interesting from what we know

cotta but it would have to be outside of his normal police job. maybe he has some time off & somthing happens. something happens and no one at work believes him or maybe something with dirty cops again, would have to heavily feature goodween

monique carrera something in the music & club scene, seems unlikely as she‘s not a „big“ recurring character but i love her & it seems fun

jelena my beloved. we know she has what it takes & she deserves to be the main character, i know he already got a book but would love to see her & skinny interact more i kinda liked their dynamic in toteninsel

lesley always something going on at booksmith, i just like her

allie jamison always some weird shit happening in her life anyway, i think a lot of people really don‘t like her but i do
