Our sins were paid for at long last, and no more animal sacrifices were needed. He is the Perfect Passover Lamb, who lived a sinless life in God's Law, which we could never do. He did the impossible to make the impossible possible for us - to provide the way for us to be saved and accepted into the Kingdom of God. This is the calling to all to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, Who is the Way and the Truth and the Life, without Whom we could never be saved. He is the Door, through Whom only we can be saved. And He is the Good Shepherd, Who laid down His life to save us from death. His sacrifice was sufficient. It has been finished.

Wip of Spiderman's berserker mode-

When Spiderman is in a legitimate holy fuck life-or-death situation, (or when his spider senses go from 0-Thanos Just Popped in and is Gunning for me) his body automatically burns its entire store of venom in one big burst, giving him a massive boost in all his powers for 10-15 minutes.

This is the ultimate state of fight-or-flight. He can't control when or if it happens.

When he's in burn, Spiderman's only objective is to survive- either by putting down the threat or getting away from it as fast as possible.

During burn, everything is enhanced- his speed, his strength, his healing factor, etc. He feels little to no pain and fights with the single goal of coming out alive on the other side. He's not necessarily mindless, but he also doesn't hold anything back and will fight to kill if that's what he thinks will give him the best chance of survival.

In this state, he's powerful enough to go toe-to-toe with a fairly serious Thor. However, going through burn is EXTREMELY traumatic for the body, and coming out of it is just as dangerous as going in.

When it's over, Peter is pretty much catatonic/comatose for a few days while his body heals- and basically as powerless as a civilian while his body restores enough venom to put him back into a balanced state.

To date, it's only happened twice (and is the original reason he caught Kraven's attention.)

TLDR: Spiderman's venom works on himself as well, but in a more extreme fashion.

posted this on twt but god. i have talked a lot about how insane phi's character is to me but it's just. i will never get over how for most of both vlr and ztd she's relatively cold and unemotional but ztd has moments where she just. breaks. i.e. the shoot:live option of fire where she literally breaks down crying and can barely get a sentence out even BEFORE diana kills herself. or in the final decision when she fucking YELLS at delta and kicks him in the face not even out of reasons like with dio but out of sheer anger for everything he's put her though. like IDK. i fold easily for the "unemotional character is pushed to their breaking point and shows MUCH more emotion than usual" trope but its so fucking interesting. phi i love you we will get you therapy
