Hello! I wanted to ask if you got any inspiration for Machete’s outfits? I would love to find an outfit similar to one of theirs for personal wear but I can never find anything that similar.
Most of his canon outfits are just slightly modified cardinal's cassocks.

Jehan Georges Vibert's paintings have been a recurring inspiration.

The buttoning on his shoes is visually reminescent to late 19th/early 20th century boots and spats.

#answered#lucentlumina#long post#if you meant his modern au wardrobe then I can't really help you I'm just improvising#a fitted black turtleneck with rolled up or 3/4 sleeves would honestly get you pretty far that's the cornerstone of everything#I'm sure you could take inspiration from the cassocks and come up with something with similar aesthetic and shapes#especially if you know how to sew#but I don't think one could wear those as is and not look like they're cosplaying a cleric
