*usually the beginning and end of this for me is a character doing something unhinged and I stop reading/listening and say aloud “it’s the same john though” and giggle about the implications for a few seconds before jumping back into the story.

Here are my character designs for my university Honours project! I decided to design 3 characters from The Lies of Locke Lamora, using Renaissance fashion (particularly Venetian) as a basis for the costuming. I just really love this series so I wanted to visualise the characters.

hi hello so the gentleman bastards is my new obsession and I’m 550-some pages into the second book and am LOSING MY GODDAMNED. MIND. Like I was riveted to the page for the first book trying to figure out just how the fuck they were gonna get out of that shitshow. But now I’m even more hooked I read 253 pages of this book yesterday after work.

And this shitshow makes that shitshow look like a fuckin pageant. How the FUCK are these idiots going to pull this off.

Also I’m so happy for my sweet terrifying boy and his wonderful love, and also my terribly clever horrendous scrungly boy and his new cat.

Since Scott Lynch still hasn't released the fourth book in the gentleman bastard series I've been successfully reading Red Seas Under Red Skies for four years. That way by the time I've finished The Republic Of Thieves the book will *hopefully* be released. The math is mathing.
