Quick doodle from last night of Sabetha Belacoros. Having just finished reading the Republic of Thieves I understand why Locke is obsessed with her, because I too am now obsessed with her. I’m not massively fond of the way it turned out, but it was a five minute doodle and I’ve never drawn her before, so it’s a start!

🦴 ⇢ is there a piece of media that inspires your writing? 

fmab and atla are the blueprints for me not a day goes by where i'm not affected by them. hadestown is what i ASPIRE to in how it blends commentary and poetry i'm in constant awe. i still love the fun action and pure charisma of the lies of locke lamora. and i take the elements i like from the goldfinch and leave the rest behind lol. in terms of fic i try to lighten things up by remembering the multichapter fandom staples i would read in high school like the student prince merthur fic comes to mind, conceptualizing fanfic doesn't come as naturally to me as original ideas so i often have to cut things that are WAY not the vibe lol
