On the topic of Rodrigues parenting and it being borderline harmful:

This child is FIVE years old, she'll be six in April. Nevermind this being the most obnoxious baby voice I've ever heard out of anyone, why on earth is she talking to a Kindergartener like she's a newborn????

I am fully of the belief that speaking to kids like they're actually people helps their development, especially with speech but it seems like with other areas too, so this is just painful for me to watch......

Some people think Jill only talks to Janessa this way because she's special needs, but she only just stopped talking to her 8 year old daughter Sofia like this (sometimes) which is just mind boggling to me. But it makes the older daughters' similarly ridiculous voices make a lot more sense since it's probably all they heard until 5th grade.

Anyway I'm not overreacting right? This feels like child abuse lol

It’s quite easy to forget there are three older girls since Jrod routinely ignores Renee’s existence. Much like she pretty much ignores everyone’s existence who isn’t Nurie, Kaylee, Precious Timmy, Miracle Janessa.

I always wondered how old Janessa was, I thought 3 because she just upgraded to a toddler bed from a cot. She just turned 6. Is babyfication a thing?

I didn't see the toddler bed thing, but yea I personally think Jill babies the shit out of Janessa and all of her younger kids throughout the years. My personal opinion is that she's one of those people who's obsessed with having little babies, and then immediately needs another one when she notices the previous baby start to grow up a little bit (I think a lot of these kinds of moms have like, a baby addiction for lack of a better term lol).

And yes I know youngest children need more attention and care simply because they're younger than their more independent siblings, but the baby talk towards Janessa, Sofia, and even Sadie and Olivia is just ridiculous to me. Janessa is first grade age at this point and it really seems like Jill just refuses to treat her like an actual person because she wants to keep her as the baby. She even called her "baby Janessa" until she was at least 4 or 5, or maybe she still does idk, but I think she infantalizes the shit out of her kids.

HI everyone! Just thought I would share a HILARIOUS moment from my NEW blog post:

“**FUNNY Story about Janessa.  LOL

I was carefully changing Janessa’s dirty diaper, when she started passing more gas.

“Oh no”, I murmured to the girls. “I hope she doesn’t have to go more!”

As the words exited my mouth, Janessa let out a HUGE grunt and her soft, nursing stools LET LOOSE! The yellow, liquid poop squirted straight on my face, hair and blouse – splattering all over me. I look like I had been decorated with yellow, seedy mustard.”

She continues to grow DAILY and, like I said in my post with pictures of Janessa, “Kaylee (thank God) continues to capture these precious moments on camera” since they take care of my kids

Renee turned 16, so here is a pic showing of her NEW, GORGEOUS purity ring to show she’s NOT like one of those sluttish American women!

She married David Rodrigues in october 1997. Since then they had 13 children, Nurie (24), Timothy (23), Kaylee (22), Renee (21), Phillip (20), Samuel (18), Gabriel (17), Tessie (16), Hannah (15), Olivia (11), Sadie (9), Sofia (8) and Janessa (5).

They also have three grandchildren, Nehemiah (2), Newman (0) and Gideon (0).

2022 Q2 Fundie Happenings

@duggardata has returned! This post was originally born out of their absence... but I got such a positive response on the last one, I'm gonna keep it up.

What’s been happening in fundieland for the last 3 months? Here’s a list of notable events and funny things. Feel free to add anything that I’ve missed. It's roughly in chronological order.

Derick Dillard passes the Arkansas bar and gets a job. Jill + Derick are moving.

Jackson Duggar goes to ALERT.

Nathan + Nurie announce Baby #2. N2 will be 13 months younger than Nehemiah. It’s not quite as fast as JRod’s rate, but it’s close. (I was really rooting for Nurie to take after the Keller women and have ~2 years between kids. But I’m also super curious to see how this name scheme plays out. I’m a sucker for ridiculous baby names.)

Jill Rodrigues wishes Janessa a happy 4th birthday in the saddest ever birthday post--by asking everyone to pray that she gets pregnant again.

Gabby Patton, friend of the Duggars, has a vow renewal after 5 1/2 years of marriage. Her bridesmaids include Joy-Anna, Abbie, and Anna Duggar. As more photos of the renewal come out, pregnancy speculation ensues. 

Esther Bates is spotted in a borrowed “Mama” t-shirt. Speculation ensues.

Carlin + Evan go one (1) day without posting on social, and people start checking in to make sure nothing bad happened.

Jedidiah + Katey welcome Truett Oliver Duggar, the first announced boy grandDuggar in several years. However, the fact that nobody has made a big deal about him being a boy only fuels the speculation that Siren had a son.

Esther + John Shrader announce Shrader-Keller #13. They were overdue for a pregnancy. I suspect this will be their last. (I'm hoping for a girl because I'm really digging their theme of using Greek virtue names. It’s wacky.)

The Mother's Day Babygeddon. Tori + Bobby, Nathan + Esther, and John David + Abbie announce pregnancies on Mother's Day.

Carver Bowers is spotted hanging out with Johannah Duggar yet again. Speculation ensues, and I hate it, because she’s a minor.

Lawson + Tiffany get married. They’ve been trying so hard to make a spectacle out of their relationship for social media that I seriously considered not including it in the list, just to be contrary. JD + Abbie, Joy, plus the unmarried adult Duggar kids, are seen in Cali for the wedding. 

Josh Duggar’s sentencing briefs are filed, including several letters written on his behalf by family and friends. Michelle Duggar dots the i in her name with a heart in her signature.

Josh Duggar is sentenced to 151 months in prison.

Carlin Stewart has a mystery illness that causes seizures or similarly scary episodes. Carlin + Evan are in a damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-don't situation where they get lambasted for posting about her illness, but people also want the deets.

Nathan + Nurie’s baby #2 is a boy! Jill posts about how Kaylee + Jonathan are happy because they hope to have the first girl (after they’re married). 

Joe + Kendra possibly spotted in public with a newborn. Speculation ensues.

Nathan + Esther are having a girl named Kenna Joy.

Josiah + Lauren are spotted at church, possibly with a baby carrier in front of them, but it’s hard to tell. Speculation ensues.

Anna Duggar posts on Instagram that she’s road tripping “to see her bestie,” presumably Josh at his new prison. It’s the 14-year anniversary of her engagement to Josh. The whole thing is a little too sad to be snarkable (in this blogger’s opinion, anyway).

Josh Duggar is transferred to federal prison.

David + Hannah (Reber) Keller announce their first pregnancy.

Mitchel + Bryn Bontrager have their third baby, Brynleigh Noelle. I cannot overstate how much I hate this name.

Jill Rodrigues attends a Plexus convention and gives us a deluge of social media posts about it.

Welcome to The World, Nehemiah David!

On October 11, 2021 (9:44 AM), Nehemiah David Keller was born in Florida to Nurie (Rodrigues) + Nathan Keller.  Nurie + Nathan wed on July 25, 2020; this is their Firstborn.  Nurie’s Mother, Jill (“J–Rod”) was present at the birth, and made all the announcements—the pregnancy, baby’s sex, start of Nurie’s labor, actual birth, baby’s name, etc.—on social media.

How does little Ne–Ne impact Nurie + Nathan’s, the Rodriguii’s, and the Kellers’ Data?  Read on to find out!

Timing of...

Pregnancy Announcement

J–Rod revealed Nurie’s Pregnancy via Facebook Live on February 22, 2021.  At the time, Nurie was just 48 Days (or 6 Weeks, 6 Days) Along; her Due Date was October 12, 2021.

Nurie + Nathan’s Data—This is their only data, so far; the Predictor will assume that they’ll also announce future pregnancies at 48 Days Along.

Rodrigues Data—Nurie is the first 2nd–Generation Rodrigues to marry, so hers is the only 2nd–Generation data, thus far...  However, we have some data from her parents, Jill + David.  Jill announced her last 2 Pregnancies on the family’s blog and on Facebook.  With Sofia, she announced on November 27, 2014, at ~44 Days Along.  (Her Due Date was ~July 22, 2015.)  And, with Janessa, she went public with the pregnancy on August 16, 2017.  With a Approximate Due Date (ADD) of April 8, 2018, she was ~45 Days Along, at the time.  Taking the mean, Jill + David typically announced at 45 (44.5) Days Along.

Factoring in Nurie, there is barely any shift.  Her Pregnancy Announcement on Day 48 shifts the average to Day 46 (1 Day Later).  

Keller Data—With the Kellers, we don’t have any information from Suzette, but we have loads of data from the Quiverfull 2nd–Generation Kellers—i.e., Esther Shrader, Priscilla Waller, and Anna Duggar.  Prior to Nurie’s Pregnancy Reveal, they typically announced pregnancies at ~96 Days Along.  (Interestingly, Anna held the records for Earliest and Latest Announcements—at 60 and 213 Days, respectively.)

Factoring in Nurie + Nathan...  They beat the record for Earliest Announcement by 12 Days (48 Days vs. 60 Days).  Averaging that in, ‘typical’ shifts from 96 to 93 Days (3 Days Earlier).

Sex Reveal 

Again, J–Rod handled the public reveal.  The Sex Reveal video was posted on J–Rod’s Facebook on June 17, 2021.  Due October 12th, Nurie was 163 Days (or 23 Weeks, 2 Days) Along, at the time.   

Nurie + Nathan’s Data—Again, this is their only data, so far.  The Predictor will assume that they’ll also do future Sex Reveals on Day 163.

Rodrigues Data—Again, we only have data from Jill’s Last 2 Pregnancies with Sofia and Janessa...  Going with what we’ve got, Jill typically did Sex Reveals at 159 Days Along (22 Weeks, 5 Days).  (She did Sofia’s on ~Day 190, and she did Janessa’s at ~Day 128.)  

Averaging Nurie’s data with Jill’s, a Rodrigues–typical Sex Reveal now occurs on Day 160 (1 Day Later).

Keller Data—Drawing data from the Quiverfull Kellers, it was ‘typical’ for a Keller to do a Sex Reveal on Day 152—or, 21 Weeks, 5 Days.  Factoring in Nurie’s 1st Sex Reveal on Day 163, that shifts to Day 153 (1 Day Later).

Delivery vs. Due Date 

Nehemiah David’s Due Date was October 12, 2021, but he arrived 1 Day Early on October 11, 2021.

Nurie + Nathan’s Data—You know the drill...  Since this is their only data point, the Predictor assumes Nurie’s Future Deliveries will also occur 1 Day Early.

Rodrigues Data—Again, Jill has data from just 2 Pregnancies (Sofia, Janessa). Sofia was ~7 Days Early; Janessa was ~3 Days Late.  Taking the average, it is typical for Jill do deliver 2 Days Early.

Factoring in Nurie’s Delivery w/ Nehemiah, the Rodrigues Average shifts from 2 Days Early (2.0) to 2 Days Early (1.7) (No Significant Change). 

Keller Data—For the [Quiverfull] Kellers, their babies usually arrive late—5 Days Late, on average.  Factoring in Nehemiah’s Arrival, that shifts to 4 Days Late (1 Day Earlier).  

Labor Details

According to Jill, Nurie “breezed through labor” since she’s “as tough as nails.”  Jill also described the birth as “beautiful, calm, [and] natural.”

Nurie delivered at a birth center, attended by midwives.  Duggar Data is pretty sure it was Loving Arms Birth & Wellness Center in Ocala, Florida.  (Check out its photos on Facebook, and compare them to photos of Nurie’s labor...  Same bed posts, headboard, wall color, etc...  Also, Loving Arms’ website quotes the Bible and describes the facility as “a God–honoring sanctuary” where mothers give birth “at exactly the time God determines.”)

At birth, Nehemiah was 8 Pounds, 2 Ounces and 21 Inches Long.

Procreative Pace / ESOQ

Nurie + Nathan married on July 25, 2020; Nehemiah David was born 443 Days Later on October 11, 2021.

Nurie + Nathan’s Data—Since this is their Firstborn, their Procreative Pace (PP) will be estimated using the 2nd Child Multiplier.  Interestingly, Nurie and Nathan both come from Predictor Families, and we could use either—(1) the Rodriguii’s Multiplier, (2) the Kellers’ Multiplier, or (3) a combination of both.

PP Based on Rodrigues Multiplier—J–Rod lost her 1st Pregnancy in December 1997, and her 1st Child Spacing runs from her Wedding Date (October 4, 1997) to that baby’s Theoretical DOB (c. August 15, 1998) (315 Days).  Her next Child Spacing (Loss Date to Nurie’s DOB) is omitted, since it’s a Post–Loss Spacing.  Her 2nd Child Spacing is the gap between Child 1 (Nurie) and Child 2 (Timmy), which was 331 Days.  Doing the math, that means Jill’s 2nd Child Multiplier is 1.0508x.

Multiplying Nurie + Nathan’s 1st Spacing (443 Days) by 1.0508x...  Jill + David’s Multiplier sets their 2nd Spacing at ~466 Days, which puts their Secondborns’ DOB on January 20, 2023.

PP Based on Keller Multiplier—Based on Suzette, Esther, Priscilla, and Anna...  The Keller 2nd Child Multiplier is 1.5460x.  (Based on a typical 1st Spacing of 378 Days, and a typical 2nd Spacing of 584 Days.)

Applying this to Nurie + Nathan’s 443–Day 1st Spacing, that gives them a 2nd Spacing of ~685 Days, and puts their 2nd Child’s DOB on August 27, 2023.

PP Based on Combined Multiplier—Finally, let’s throw Jill’s 1st and 2nd Child Spacings in with the Quiverfull Kellers’ to calculate our Keller–and–Rodrigues 2nd Child Multiplier.  Doing the math...  The typical 1st Spacing is 365 Days—Exactly 1 Year—and the typical 2nd Spacing is 533 Days.  Dividing, that gives us a 2nd Child Multiplier of 1.4630x.

Applying that to Nurie + Natha’s 443–Day 1st Spacing yields a 2nd Spacing of ~648 Days, so their 2nd Child’s DOB would be July 21, 2023.

ESOQ—Nurie’s Fertility Cut–Off is September 25, 2038.  (At that point, she will be Age 39.44—i.e., the same age that Jill was at Janessa’s Birth.)  With that in mind, their ESOQ depends on which Procreative Pace (PP) we use...

PP Based on Rodrigues Multiplier   ESOQ of 14 Children (14.26)

PP Based on Keller Multiplier   ESOQ of 10 Children (10.02)

PP Based on Combined Multiplier   ESOQ of 10 Children (10.54)

When To Expect Keller–Rodrigues #2

Again, it obviously depends on which 2nd Child Multiplier / PP used.  Here are the three scenarios...

Based on Nurie + Nathan’s Timing Data, plus the Rodrigues Multiplier, we can expect a Pregnancy Announcement on June 3, 2022 and Birth on January 20, 2023.

Based on Nurie + Nathan’s Timing Data, plus the Keller Multiplier, the forecast would be a Pregnancy Announcement on January 8, 2023, followed by a Birth on August 27, 2023.

Finally, based on Nurie + Nathan’s Timing Data, plus the Combined Multiplier, the Predictor would guess December 2, 2022 for a Pregnancy Announcement and July 21, 2023 for the Birth.

Whew!  That was a lot!  Welcome to the world, Ne–Ne!
