A lamb named Baa
Baa was not a black sheep. She was a white lamb with clothes that were a lot less sturdy than her head and hands, so she needed some help. Here are the diagnosis photos her person sent:
Her person loved her very much. She didn’t want to clean her, or change her stuffing, but she did want new sturdier clothes and shoes and perhaps some ear repairs. Since Baa’s clothes are really part of her body, they took a lot of wear from hugs.
We knew ahead of time we couldn’t match Baa’s original fabric pattern, but that was ok, because the plan was to use a slightly sturdier fabric than her original cotton. Her person and I had agreed on pink for her clothes, and white for her shoes. Here are the fabric choices:
Her person chose the fleece in the first option, the sturdiest and softest of the three. But we decided to do her inner ears in velour. Here’s Baa’s first photos with new clothes.
At this point, I had preserved the ruffs from her original clothes, as they were in good shape and showed a bit of her personality. I’d also kept her soles. I wanted her person to have a chance to take a look and let me know if she wanted to change anything, or keep anything, or recover more. Some people may’ve had the hands, or the soles of the feet recovered, or done something with the ruff, but that was an aesthetic choice for her person.
Baa’s person wrote:
Oh, I love her so much! I love the parts you were able to salvage and keep on too, including her hands and ruff! I love the combination of new fuzz and old familiar face :) She looks perfect. I think she looks ready to come home!!
So home Baa flew to IL, to her person’s parents, just to be sure someone could greet her on arrival. Her person wrote:
As of this weekend I was able to pick up Baa from my parents’ house, and just wanted to send you my deep gratitude for the work you did with her. She looks wonderful, a perfect mix of the old familiar and the newly-sturdy. Your repairs have set her up for the rest of a lifetime of love and comfort. I really appreciate your work and how you’ve given me the ability to really hug her again without fear of her breaking or tearing. Thank you so much for all your high-quality repair.
Happily reunited. :-)

... do people not realise that midwives (real ones, CPMs and CNMs, not the fake ones Jill pretends to be) do all the same things for women’s health that OBGYNs do?? If a daughter were having any sort of a problem, she could talk to a midwife about it to get whatever care she needed through them.
I mean fundie women. If they had a problem with their private parts, would they be allowed to see an obgyn if they were unmarried.
I’m assuming this is the same anon who asked about the yeast infection. (Which, in my defense, I have never gone to a doctor for so I wasn’t really thinking of that as a thing they’d need an obgyn for, sorry!)
It would likely depend on what the problem was and what their family believed. Obviously in the families that don’t believe in going to doctors in general they wouldn’t go to a doctor. I’d imagine many of them would also not allow it if it was something that could be treated without (like many yeast infections). But I do think of the families we follow who believe in doctors in general (and can afford them), that they would allow their unmarried daughters to go to the obgyn if they had a medical condition that really warranted it and could not somehow be stigmatized.

PLEASE REGLOG, PLEASE
as many of you don't know I'm from chile and the situation here in the capital and a few other places are under military control, people are being injured for PROTEST against the government and all the things they've done to us.
last night we were under curfew, for the first time since the dictatorship ended, a few decades ago. LAST NIGHT OUR RIGHTS WERE TOOK AWAY FROM US. last night they wanted to make us keep quiet but there was angry, sadness, euphoria, everything but silence.

Nurie really does! I’ve noticed it more in the last year or so.
David has never been attractive. I have no idea what she sees in him. Or why a 12 year old started lusting after a 19yo. Gross.
You’re so welcome!! Enjoy them 😜

I knew the age difference but fuck I didn’t know they started flirting that young. Creepy and gross. And we thought kelton was gross. (He still is. This is just worse) I hope she doesn’t let one of her girls go down that same path. So fucking creepy.

More babiesssss
So it appears Prissy is pregnant again. Destiny just turned one earlier this month so she’s definitely early but her belly is quite clear in the video she posted on Instagram.
I really hope it’s a girl bc I want to see if her letter theme is every other child or a boy/girl theme. (It’s probably a boy/girl theme but hey there’s always a chance)
