You and Jane have been texting about everything. You were friends for a long time, but it seemed that you knew each other all your life. She wasn't afraid that you'd find out her secrets. You were always ready to support her no matter what. That's why she decided to tell you about her feelings for Jake. It's not that you don't know about it. Her feelings for Jake were one of the most obvious things you've ever seen in your life. However, you listened to her anyway, realizing that it was important to her. And now, when she talked about how she was in love with Jake, you felt your heart ache painfully. The reason for this was that Jane wasn't the only one in love. You were in love, too, but not with Jake, but with Jane herself. It was your big secret that you didn't tell anyone, and especially Jane. You saw that she was already in love and you didn't want to try to impose your feelings on her. You were sure she didn't need them. However, every day these feelings became only a heavier burden for you. You looked at the messages from Jane with longing. She wrote that she needed to leave for a couple of minutes and that she would be back soon. You looked thoughtfully at her last message, after which you started typing.

"You know, Jane, there's something I wanted to tell you. I've been silent about it for a long time, but I don't have the strength to keep it to myself anymore. I like you. No, not like that. I'm in love with you. I know that you're in love with Jake and I understand that you don't need my feelings. I won't impose my feelings on you, but tell me, do I have any chance that someday you won't look at me as a friend? I'm ready to wait as long as it takes. If not, then say it directly. I only hope that we can at least remain friends."

You took another look at the message you typed, and then shook your head negatively. You couldn't afford to send it. You were just about to delete the message when the noise on the street distracted you. You pressed the button without looking, confident that you did everything right, and went to see what happened. You didn't even realize that you accidentally sent a message to Jane. A message in which you told about your feelings for her.

Hc for the beta/alpha kids with a s/o that’s touch starved so they’re very clingy physically

Man I <33 these kids <33 here ya go !

John is considered to be a bit touch starved, so he’s cool with it, I consider John to be quite clingy himself so he’s down for whatever ! He always has a little blush on his face though.

June loves it !! She doesn’t consider herself touch starved but is extremely clingy as well so you two are always attached at the hip. Constantly holding and kissing for you two.

Rose is perfectly fine with it, but it takes some getting used to. She’s touch starved as well, but she isn’t exactly clingy. She always gets flustered when you’re like this.

Dave is losing his mind, you’re going to kill him. His brain always short circuits when you do this, he loves it but holy shit warn a guy first. He gets very flustered by you.

Jade loves it more than you know, she’s been lonely for such a long time, naturally she just loves an s/o that is extremely clingy. She feels sympathy towards you because she knows what it’s like :(

Jane loves it!! Though sometimes she needs her space, not to be mean or anything! It’s just sometimes it makes her really flustered and she needs a minute to calm her nerves.

Jake loves this too, he spent most of his life being alone, so he likes having you around to make him feel special and to make him feel loved and cared for. He hopes he can make you feel the same.

Roxy loves the hell outta your clinginess, they’re very clingy themselves and I consider them to be one of the clingiest homestuck characters, they’re extremely touch starved so you two are always touching.

Dirk is a bit awkward at first, mainly because he’s also touch starved and doesn’t always know how to reciprocate without feeling like he’s acting like a robot about it. Still, appreciates it.

I love ideas of yandere jane because she fits the trope of “baked goodies with blood in them” (John gets his cannibalism from grandma clearly) but she is a baking QUEEN so you know she extensively researched (and experimented) with ratios of what was best. She can’t get you sick! Unfortunately for her, she can only add a little bit! It’s ok though, since it brings you closer. One day when you’re with her, she accidently nicks her finger! She’s unfazed by it, but you (in typical shoujo fashion) grab her hand and put her finger in your mouth. You’d probably jump back after a second and apologize getting a bandaid saying something about being really worried and that you read spit helps wounds but Jane is gone. She is in heaven. She adores you but your words are floating right past her. She didn’t have to hide it in a cupcake or some cookies. She short circuits for a little bit while you fuss over her hand (and the fact you think you freaked her out)

OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. ANON. YOUR BRAIN. SO TRUE SO TRUE SO TRUE OH MY GOD. I CANT BELIEVE I HAVENT THOUGHT ABOUT THIS BEFORE YOU'RE A GENIUS!!!!

Also you're SO right about it being a Crockerbert thing. John is more straight forward, while Jane is more sneaky and slower to the punch about it.

Jane was walking on air, barely able to contain herself even as she waited for her cupcakes to finish baking. Every once in a while, she'd break into squeals and giggles, overwhelmed with the joy and excitement that buzzes in her chest. She danced and practically bounced around the kitchen, replaying the memory over and over and over again!

You loved her! You had licked her wound, had tasted her blood of your own volition! She can barely contain the joy that welled up inside her, the warmth that spread throughout her entire being. You had grabbed her, touch so gentle, and your lips wrapped around her finger, suckling at her wound and drinking the small dollops of blood that leaked from her. Oh, if she hadn't known you and her were meant to be before, this would be the icing on the cake! Just thinking about it again made her flustered.

Ah, but how sad it was that the moment ended so soon, that you caught yourself and felt ashamed of your actions. She tried to tell you it was okay, that she understood, that she had read somewhere, too, that saliva promoted healing, but you were far too embarrassed. You excused yourself to the bathroom, most likely trying to hide upstairs until you found the courage to face her again, or until enough time passed that you felt it appropriate to see her again - all entirely unnecessary, of course! You never needed to be embarrassed around her, especially over something as intimate and sweet as what you had done!

The timer beeped, making Jane perk up. She couldn't help the grin that rose to her lips as she slipped on her oven mitts, moving to take her cupcakes out of the oven. Behind her glasses, her eyes crinkled with mischief as she thought of you having another taste of her "secret ingredient." Maybe it was for the best that you had absconded upstairs - it made the process of adding her blood into the batter all the easier! The first few times she had tried out the recipe had been so difficult, and there was a lot of trial and error, but with practice, it was made perfect!

For one, Jane found that it was much easier to extract blood through needles than trying to break the skin with a knife. A painful lesson, to be sure, but an important one nonetheless.

There was also the trouble of finding the best way to include her blood in the recipe. Turns out, she could simply skip out on using eggs and use her lifeblood as a substitute! Then, she'd just adjust her measurements of the other ingredients to better hide the taste, and voilà! Her special, secret ingredient cupcakes she made just for you. All of them made with love…

As she busied herself with the frosting bags she set up, she bit her bottom lip, wondering if she had somehow subconsciously conditioned you to crave the taste of her blood. Oh, the thought just made her burn all the more! Well… If that was the case, it's all the more reason to make this batch extra special! You deserved a treat, after all.

Usually, she made your cupcakes with regular frosting so as to not make the metallic taste too overpowering, but it's very clear you'd taken a liking to it! She mixed an extra hit of her blood to her buttercream frosting, giving it a slightly red tone. Jane carefully decorated the pastries, repeatedly swirling around the cupcake as she made the design of a rose.

She grinned from ear to ear, her buckteeth peeking out from under her top lip as she looked over her work. Perfect. They were perfect. Just like you!

Carrying one of the cupcakes in her hand, cushioned by a napkin, Jane made her way upstairs. Slowly, she made her way over to her room, giving a knock on the door. As much as she hated to think of you sulking or worrying over having made her upset, it made her giddy how comfortable you were with her, enough to take refuge in her room.

"Can I come in?" She called.

She watched as the doorknob turned, revealing you, brows furrowed and your expression nervous. Slowly, you opened up the door and stepped away to give her room. "You don't have to ask. It's your room."

"Still!" She made her way inside, taking a seat on the bed, patting beside herself to offer you a seat. "It doesn't hurt to be polite."

You sunk down beside her, letting out a deep sigh, unable to bring yourself to look at her. "I'm… I'm really sorry about-"

"Oh, you're still thinking about that?" She waved the thought off. "It's no big deal, really! In fact, I'm flattered."

You gave her a look, making Jane flounder for a moment. "I- I mean, that you- you care so much about me, you know? That your first instinct is to help me, and that you feel that close. What I'm trying to say is that it's all okay. You don't need to worry."

"Are you sure? You're not just saying that to make me feel like I'm not a weirdo?"

"Yes, I'm sure, and you're not a weirdo," Jane's expression was stern, but only for a moment. Her face relaxed into a soft smile as she held the cupcake up to you."

You blinked, hesitating. "You're sure?"

"Of course." She replied, tone gentle and full of love.

Slowly, you took the napkin and cupcake from her hands. You felt her eyes on you as you lifted it to your mouth - perhaps to gauge your reaction, but that wouldn't really make sense. You always loved whatever she made! Including this, unable to help the muffled moan you let out as the frosting hit your tongue and the cake melted into your mouth. Her confectioneries were always delicious. Something about them was different from any other sweets you had tasted before, probably thanks to whatever secret ingredient she added to them, always saying it was special, just for you. Her saying that always made you so flustered.

Jane was once again on cloud nine. Watching you lose yourself in the taste of her baking, her lifeblood, was absolutely heavenly. You had become one without even realizing it! Oh, she couldn't wait until she could tell you the truth of what was in it, what she used as a special ingredient. She hoped you'd be receptive to the truth, but if you weren't at first, you'd surely have been conditioned to crave it by now. You'd have to get your fix sometime, wouldn't you? And wouldn't it be all the better to get it from the source?

She cuddled up against you in a "friendly" hug, closing her eyes as she imagined you drinking from her. It'd be so intimate and loving to do so without the barrier of her baked goods, to partake in her and her actual flavor. She couldn't wait to feel how your teeth dug in and ripped into her flesh, breaking the skin, your tongue licking up droplets of blood or letting it run into your mouth. You'd look up at her, eyes glazed over in pleasure and hunger as you fed from her, practically addicted. And Jane would let you take as much as you wanted. She loved you that much.

Homestuck x Reader Headcanons but I rate them on how they kiss

John - Very eager, maybe a bit overwhelming! Cradles your face or jaw in his hands and just dives in! Just. NEEDS to Hold You while he gives you smooches. Usually always smiles into the kiss, laughs as he pulls away. His kisses usually last a while, and leaves you breathless. Loves to nuzzle your noses together either before kissing or directly after. Affectionate boy 💙💙💙 10/10

Rose - Her kisses are soft and slow. Presses up against you slowly, until you're making full contact. Likes to hold onto your arms or waist. Though, sometimes she's more chaste and leaves you wanting more. She's got full lips, perfect for kissing! A bit cold, though. 9/10

Dave - INCREDIBLY nervous. Too nervous to initiate things, even, you might have to take the reins at first. Melts into the kiss, and sighs into it. It takes him a while to get truly comfortable, but when he does, he loves to hold you and take things slow. His touches are incredibly soft. Feels more like being kissed by a ghost than anything. 7/10

Jade - Very excitable!!! Loves giving kisses willy-nilly!! Forehead kisses, cheek kisses, the works!! Loves to pull you into a kiss and just press into you, before breaking away and peppering kisses across your face. Is super giggly and happy the whole time. 9/10

Jane - VERY bashful at first. Starts off with quick cheek kisses, blushing the whole time. It takes a bit for her to warm up to kissing you on the lips - she's just so nervous! She's so gentle with you, even when giving a smooch. She doesn't want to smother you. You can feel her nervous smile against your own. Very soft and smoochable lips. She might pull away too soon for your liking, though. She can't handle it! 8/10

Jake - Has no idea what he's doing! But also won't let that stop him. He might get too big for his britches and just. Try to mush his face against yours like he's seen in comics and on TV. There might be some drool. You'll definitely  have to help him out, but he's an eager learner! 4/10

Roxy - LOVES!!!! KISSING!!! God, she just. Loves romantic shit!! Kissing you is a dream come true!!! She loves pulling you into an embrace and smothering you in kisses. Sometimes it's hard to kiss her back because she's just smiling so hard! Loves to hold you and gets really handsy, maybe too much? She's just really happy and a bit touch-starved. 8/10

Dirk - You're gonna need to initiate things, full stop. Dirk is INCREDIBLY touch-starved and desperate for affection, but is just so terrified of fucking things up or making you uncomfortable. Freezes up when you kiss him, before just. MELTING and just audibly sighs into it. Needs to hold you more than anything. He doesn't really get too deep into a kiss, as he never wants to force you into something. 6/10

Karkat - Has no idea what he's doing, has never done this before. Really shaky and nervous, blushing like a madman. Might act a bit annoyed or snippy to distract from how out of depth he is. The first kisses are really short and chaste, with Karkat pulling away almost the instant your lips meet. Just give him some time and be patient. Eventually, he'll learn to keep calm and relax into kissing. 6/10

Aradia - Smiles into kisses. A bit giggly. Also, surprisingly chilly? Loves both chaste and deep kisses, but does the former more often, if only to tease you. Like to cup your chin or jaw as she pulls you into a kiss. For deeper, longer kisses, she loves to dip you. Also loves leaving lipstick marks all over your face. 9/10

Tavros - Really, really shocked and nervous… You? Want to kiss him? Pinch him, he must be dreaming! You'll have to help him through the motions, and reassure him if he gets nervous - he hasn't had the best experience with… People trying to kiss him in the past. Really tense and visibly nervous the whole time, but is trying his best. Probably prefers cheek-kisses or forehead-kisses more than anything. 5/10

Sollux - Doesn't really… Like kissing? But, will do it for you. Though, that isn't too say you should expect anything grand. He'll give you quick pecks on the cheek or lips in passing, but not much else besides that. Don't get him wrong, he loves you! Kisses just aren't really his ThingTM. 2/10

Nepeta - SMOTHERS you in kisses!!! Will tackle you just to give you smooches all over!! She's just wants you to know much she loves you!!! It might be a bit overwhelming, though, and it might feel like she's trying to swallow you whole. If you ask her to take it down a notch, she'll begrudgingly agree, excusing her actions as just wanting to show you how much you mean to her. 7/10

Kanaya - Much like Rose, her kisses are usually more chaste than anything else, but will last longer, if you ask her and so desire. There's just something you find so graceful about her, even when she's planting a smooch on you. And, as much as she hates to leave a mess, she loves it when your face is dotted with lipstick marks. It really tickles the more possessive side of her. 8/10

Terezi - There will be drool. Full stop. It is inevitable. Her kisses aren't so much kisses, rather than… Full-blown sloppy makeout sessions every time. Really uncoordinated and sloppy, but, considering Terezi, it might be purposeful? Also, at some point, she just stops kissing entirely and starts licking your face. 1/10

Vriska - Kissing is a rarity for her, and only done when she really, really, reaaaaaaaally likes someone. So, consider yourself l8cky! Vriska's smooches usually don't last long, but are full of force and power. Loves to just grab you by the scruff of your clothes and lay one on you. She more often than not leaves you breathless, and she'll use that to tease you. 7/10

Equius - Probably doesn't kiss you a lot. He's terrified of hurting you, even if he's being as careful as possible. If he isn't being incredibly gentle and careful, he could easily hurt you! And that thought makes him even more sweaty, which, besides getting your jaw broken, is something you'd rather not feel during a kiss. The most you'll get is an extremely quick peck, which feels barely like a kiss at all. 0/10

Gamzee - Really silly and goofy during smooches. Prefers to cuddle while doing so. Loves to hold you in his arms while he peppers kisses all over. Though, he doesn't shy away from deepening kisses, either! After all, he IS a fan of sloppy makeouts ;0O Takes things soft and slow, and always makes sure you're comfortable! 9/10

Eridan - Not very experienced and kind of in disbelief you like him enough to kiss him? Really gentle and affectionate and sweet, but looks kinda goofy while doing it. He just, scrunches up his face and shuts his eyes and leans in. Makes up for it with enthusiasm. Very soft fish lips. 8/10

Feferi - Super affectionate and excitable!! Would probably kiss you all the time if she could!!! Loves to hold you in her arms while she gives you smooches. Does it all over, too - your lips, cheeks, forehead, neck, collarbone, shoulders!! Might hold you a bit too tight, sometimes she forgets her own strength when she gets lost in the moment. A bit overbearing, but she can't help it, she loves you so much!! 9/10

Now, Jane fancies herself as a RATIONAL and INTELLIGENT girl. But even she is not immune to BOUTS OF INSECURITY.

Her girlfriend, YOU, has been acting very suspicious lately. Don’t get her wrong, you’re unbelievably sweet and it boggles her mind every time she remembers that you asked her out and are her girlfriend. But…

“I don’t know, they’ve been so flighty lately. Do you think she’s gonna break up with me?” Jane frets over the phone.

“Hell no. Have you heard them talk about you? They love the shit out of you Jane.” Dirk says.

“Oh, what does she say about me?” Jane flushes, “Ah, that’s not what I’m asking about! I just- Dirk they’ve been so scarce and I’m worried. What if this is the end and I’m just sitting around with no clue?”

“For starters, some advice from a guy who has a ruined relationship under the belt, worrying your head off isn’t gonna help. Nor is assuming that a bit of no contact means that she hates you now. She doesn’t. Whatever is going on, maybe ask them about it? And be chill about it, don’t accuse them of anything.”

“... okay. Thanks Dirk.”

“Sure Jane. Go get ‘em, tiger.”

Jane feels a little better after a half hour of chatting about relationship issues with her homie, but she still felt apprehensive.

She talks herself up a bit. You two have been dating for nearly a month! And you asked her out, you’re such a sure person, you couldn’t possibly be quietly considering breaking up. If you were, you’d tell her to her face! She thinks.

But no matter, she needs to talk to you about this. Take Dirk’s advice.

You’re found in the kitchen, one of Jane’s favorite places. She stands in the doorway for just a moment, admiring you from afar. You flip through her family cookbook for your favorite recipe. She rests her hand on her cheek to hide the soft blush rising on her face. No matter how many eyefuls she gets, you’re always just as breathtaking. After a deep breath, she makes her presence known.

“Hi dear!” She says cheerily. You turn and give her the smile she loves so much.

“Oh hey! Do you wanna help me make dessert?” You ask.

“Yes, of course I do.” She takes some of the ingredients and starts on her part of the preparations. After about ten minutes baking together in silence, she remembers that she actually came here to ask you something. She clears her throat. You can be so distracting sometimes. “Actually, I, er, wanted to ask you something.”

“Yeah?”

“Um… you’ve uh, been kind of distant lately? I’ve just been wondering if everythings alright.”

“Oh! Yeah, everything’s good.” You say lightly.

“Are you sure?” She presses. You pause a little. And then you break.

“Okay, don’t worry, it’s nothing bad. But I have been working on something.” You wash your hands. “Gimmie a sec.”

She watches as you hurry off. The moment you leave, she starts worrying. Oh, please don’t break up with her.

Mercifully, you don’t take long. You saunter in with a cheeky smile and something hidden behind your back.

“What’s that?” She asks.

“Well, we’ve been dating for a whole month, so I wanted to make you something special!” You present her with a picture of a cake, two familiar figures scribbled on top, “Ta-da! Happy monthiversary honey!”

“Oh thank god you still like me.” She sighs in relief, placing a hand on her chest.

“No shit? I love the hell out of you?”

“I love you too dear, thank you.” She giggles, hugging you close. She really got worked up over nothing.

Quite often you and Dirk could argue. You weren't fighting, you were arguing because you wanted to do something that Dirk was sure was doomed to fail. He understood this, that's why he tried to dissuade you, but you were stubborn and often did things your own way, after which you came to him upset. Sometimes Dirk wanted to tell you that he said so, but he was silent, not wanting to upset his friend

Dirk understood that your stubbornness often played against you, but he still tried to help you. He knew it was part of your character that made you you and didn't want you to change. He liked you the way you were, stubborn, impulsive, firmly following your beliefs. You were his friend that he didn't want to lose

Despite the fact that your relationship was not always perfect, you continued to be friends. You understood each other, supported each other and could talk to each other about anything. None of your arguments could destroy your friendship

From the very first day you met, Roxy was glad that she had a friend like you. You were always happy to tell her about your views on life and how you would like to see the world. Roxy was happy to listen to you and share her thoughts with you. Your views on the world were different, but you never quarreled over them

Every time you got into trouble because of your impulsiveness, you could safely tell Roxy about it. She was always ready to listen to you, cheer you up when you were upset and enjoy your success together with you

You understood that she, just like you, needed someone who was ready to listen to her and you boldly took on this role. You listened to her, regardless of her condition, helped her and supported her. You knew it was hard for her and were determined to help her at least morally if you couldn't do anything else

Your friendship was not perfect, but despite this, you continued to be friends. You knew that no matter what difficulties were waiting for you ahead, you could always rely on each other, you could always support each other. Your friendship gave you both the strength to move on

for a short answer: i personally hc all the human girls as being attracted to the same gender on some level and it’s canon that trolls don’t really have sexualities the way we do. so! assuming they like the girl back, i think all the girls would be receptive and happy with a girl liking them. for a more specific headcanons, see under the cut.

💜 rose tries so hard to play it cool, she really does. she has all these really cool one liners and suave pick up lines saved, but the minute you begin talking to her all bets are off. emotions and sincerity are really not rose’s forte, but she does make an effort for you. she’s very flustered whenever you broach the subject, but tries her damndest not to show it. this may result in rose coming off as colder and more verbose than usual, but don’t be put off! she’s just nervous, ha ha. 

💚 jade is really surprised when she finds out you like her. she’d been trying to subtly flirt with you for a while, but that had mostly turned into her getting heart eyes whenever you talk and looking like--well, a lovesick puppy. as soon as she catches wind that you like her, she’s ready to confront you and hopefully move from there. despite her previous unlucky relationships, jade tends to tread on the side of optimism and has high hopes for your future together. 

💙 jane is completely beside herself. we see how flustered she gets when the subject is brought up with jake, but when she’s being confessed to?? her brain short circuits. after the conversation, jane might avoid you for a little bit due to embarassment, but with a little reassurance she’ll come around. at the end of the day, she’s just so overwhelmed and happy that you like her back. 

💗 roxy is immediately stoked. she’s got so much love to give, and cannot wait to share it with you! prepare for lots of affection from roxy; cuddles and wonks are frequent. you can’t really blame her though. she’s smitten and thrilled you like her back. don’t expect her to be very public about your blossoming relationship, though. while roxy may gush and be lovey-dovey when the two of you are alone, she prefers to keep matters of the heart more private. 

❤️ aradia’s all smiles. she’s visibly happy, probably taking your hands tightly between her own. she’s not shy in verbally confirming her excitement either. aradia starts opening up a little more; she’s showing off one the more impressive bones in her collection when you realize this. it wasn’t bragging. it was an invitation into aradia’s world, so to speak. at any rate, your interest makes aradia feel warm inside. 

💚 nepeta is beyond thrilled. she immediately updates her shipping wall to display her newly canonized otp. deep down, nepeta is very lonely; that’s the entire reason she’s so invested in relationships. knowing you like her is like a dream come true! if you haven’t already confessed, rps will probably start getting suspiciously flirty, lol. subtlety doesn’t come easy for nepeta, and it’s even harder when she likes you so much! 

💚 kanaya has to do a double take. she hadn’t really thought that her attempts at flirting had… worked?? but here you are. liking her. blood rushes to kanaya’s cheeks at the very thought. anyway, kanaya’s all in at the thought of being with you; dates are planned quickly. assuming you’re on a planet with non-lethal sunlight, happy sunshine picnic dates with your vampire girlfriend are frequent.

💙 terezi likes to play around before getting to the heart of the matter, so she’ll probably flirt with you for a little bit before officiating any relationship with you. terezi just loves the scent of your chagrin when she teases you! it might take a while for her to actually open up to you though. terezi’s had a difficult past where romance is concerned, so be patient with her. 

💙 vriska will probably try cajoling you into making the first move. except she’s not exactly subtle, so it’s super obvious that your crush on her is reciprocated. there are probably a lot of shenanigans leading up to the actual confession: that just comes with the vriska package. kinda random but later on in your guys’ relationship i could see vriska bouncing her various plots and schemes off of you. intentionally or not, you’ll become the person who makes sure all her irons in the fire aren’t getting too hot. 

💗 feferi is SO GLUBBING -EXIT-ED!!! 38D it may take a few moments of giggling before feferi’s calmed enough to really talk. but when she does, it’s all about you. she wants to know what you’re thinking, what’s going through your head. feferi’s just a bit concerned is all. her history of dating cagey, grumpy boys has forced feferi into a habit of being pushy about feelings. bare with her, though, she means well. also probably a big hugger.

❤️ damara is suspicious, at first. she’s been severely jilted in the past, and this has negatively affected her outlook on future relationships. damara will come on super strong to scare you off make sure you’re serious about her and not in it for the wrong reasons. once she’s decided that you’re trustworthy, damara will take things very slow. she’ll want to spend a lot of time with you, being soft and getting to know each other. 

💚 meulin is excited, but inside she’s a little nervous. similar to damara, meulin has been unlucky in love in the past. for as much as she loves love, she had made her peace with it not being in the cards for her future. your confession definitely makes her happy, don’t get me wrong! but she’s also worried and waiting for some tragedy to befall the two of you. be patient with meulin; she just doesn’t want to lose somebody she cares about as much as you. <3

💚 porrim is much happier than she lets on. secretly, she’d worried that her.. salacious reputation had scared you off. she won’t need much reassurance, though. just your presence is enough to comfort porrim and remind her that others’ opinions don’t matter. you ground her, in that way. i could see porrim being a little protective of you too; she might fuss over your scarf when it’s cold out or be really into helping you time manage or something like that. 

💙 latula’s knee jerk reaction is to throw up a palm for the r4dd3st high five, but thought better of it when she remembered her steel palm. if she trusts you with her heart, then latula will likely trust you enough to at least partially drop the cool girl facade. latula’s ultra supportive, too. whether it’s verbal encouragement, a hand on the small of your back while walking, or even just a smile, latula never lets you forget that she’s got you, through thick and thin. 

💙 aranea is a bit smug. she was sure this day would come sooner or later, it was only a matter of when. that doesn’t stop her from being elated, though! which she immediately begins to wax poetic about, haha. aranea probably keeps a diary or two, in which you are a recurring theme. this is a little random, but in private i could see aranea being a fan of giving & receiving surprise kisses.

💗 if aranea is a little smug, then meenah is smug as fuck. of course you like her back; what’s not to like? homegull’s got it going on! the two of you will quickly become partners in crime (if you weren’t already), with you as meenah’s right hand gal. despite the bad bitch/take charge attitude meenah has, yours would be pretty much the only opinion she values higher than her own. though she may have a reputation to uphold, meenah thinks of you as her strongest ally.

If you make any silly jokes he finds it annoying yet he just can't get mad at you.

In the end it's not that important. On everyday basis he barley notices it. Although he used to pay a lot of attention to that but I guess he got used to it.

Rose Lalonde

Never really paid attention to that and even if it's pointed out she shrugs it off.

Sometimes would ask you if you could get something for her when she can't reach it.

That's the only time where she thinks about your height difference. Other than that? Nothing.

Jade Harley

Sometimes she can be a little pouty about it. When she can't reach something and struggles for a while and you just take it without a problem, that's when you can expect her to be a little bit moody for a minute or two.

She also finds it frustrating when she has to ask you to lean down so she can kiss you.

If you point out being taller she will point out bonuses of being short.

Dave Strider

Makes some jokes about it from time to time. It all depends on what the difference between you two is but it varies from calling you a gigant to the famous how's the weather joke.

Other than these remarks he doesn't do anything special. He's not the shortest himself so he doesn't have to ask for your help or anything.

Jane Crocker

She's pretty used to doing things on her own so whenever she has an issue where her height puts her at disadvantage she knows what to do so she rarely asks for any help.

If you have something to say about it she'd ignore you. She won't give you that satisfaction.

But she does find the fact that you're tall as a plus.

Roxy Lalonde

You're her lovely giant no matter what your difference is. She likes to think of nicknames but she also just likes to go with your name.

She always finds a way to force you to lean down so she can kiss you. Of course she knows her way up too.

She will often ask for help even when she doesn't really need it. She just wants to look at you.

Jake English

No matter often he's reminded of your height difference he's still just as surprised as ever whenever he notices it.

Not that it's bad, his reactions are cute and he also is surprised but in a good way.

He likes to think about how being taller would change his adventures both for the better and for the worse. His theories can't just stay in his head but whether you'll join him or not is your decision to make.

Dirk Strider

He never paid mind to it. At all.

Whenever you use your height to your advantage he just thinks of it as you being you. Nothing special happening there, but you're special to him.

Sometimes it's like he forgets about height altogether. But in the end he unconsciously likes when you stand next to each other and you tower over him.

💙 Jake can be a bit… Impulsive and excitable when he thinks about you, especially when he thinks of keeping you safe and making sure only he and Jane could see or touch or talk to you, only theirs. Forever… Luckily, he had Jane to reel him in and calm him, making sure he didn't jump into something guns blazing (quite literally) or without a plan.

💚 While Jake is more prone to impulsivity, Jane prefers a slower and more calculated approach. She enjoys stalking, her and Jake following you about during the day, finding where you live. Perhaps you notice them, notice that they often pop up in similar places as you - Jane will laugh it off, and find it a way to strike up a conversation and make a connection. They'll woo you with kindness, with you none the wiser until it's far too late...

💙 They're suffocating, but you can't hate them for it. Jake is passionate and encouraging and quick with a joke or a witty line. Jane is sweet and a bit sassy and nurturing, and she's constantly making goodies just for you. You feel as though you can't say no to them, to their hospitality and want for friendship. You find that,  soon, they've weaved their way into your everyday life. It feels a bit… Uncomfortable. A nagging feeling that they've gotten too close, too soon. But, you can't bare to break their hearts or let them down…

💚 It gets a bit awkward at some point. When they invite you out to dinner, you feel as though you were invited to a date with them, rather than a regular outing between friends. And you didn't even have the luxury of being the awkward third wheel - they insisted that they sit on either side of you. It's as though neither of them have a sense of personal space, pressing themselves up against either side of you.

💙 At one point, they invite you to dinner at their house. This time, the atmosphere feels… different. More tense, perhaps. As though you were at the precipice of something you couldn't come back from. Jake is antsy, shifting in his seat as he waits for Jane to bring out the meal she prepared. As usual, they insisted on sitting on either side of you. Jake is handsy, trying to grab at your hands and beaming at you. When Jane finally emerges from the kitchen, carrying a plate of… Cookies. Rather odd for an appetizer, certainly, but you figure eating them will move along the night. The quicker you finish, the quicker you can leave.

💚 Jane and Jake smile widely, eyes fixated on you as you eat. Something doesn't sit right with you, and it isn't the cookies… Or… Is it? You find yourself growing tired, the world becoming dizzy. You feel hands on you as you slip into unconsciousness.

💙 When you awake, you find yourself on a large, plush bed. You can't move, your wrists and ankles chained to the posts on the bed. Jake and Jane coo above you, over how cute you look like this! Finally! They'd been waiting so long!... Now, you'll be theirs forever...
