Hi i just started way of the kings, bc that was the only book from sanderson that i found, and i really wanted to start a deep series (like i have completed both percy jackson series, all 4 shadowhunter series, sjm universe all 3 series and ofc harry potter) and they were good but i wanted a more deeper well thought out more mature series, and i heard everyone like not even one single bad review from my fav book readers that i follow. I really hope i love this (cldnt get into lor or got series idk why maybe will give a try again) but can you give a timeline or any link which will explain it and the sequence of books in each series, if you wont mind. thanks,

ps its sort of sad the low amount of effort that bighit puts into jimin releases, not even mere promotion or posters even or pre order/save links or a larger grp of sites to but from or a europe ver album (which btw all of teh above that everyone else got, all the members did and pjms (no major account or so called ot7 army) are the ones promoting or putting up fliers and posters for promoting its just sad and so hurtful to see. its just so sad when people put side by side pics of jm and other member's stores and pre order links for thier albums and see jm's being like 4 stores long just that short list, it was really just sad. people have to beg them to give the pre -release songs pre order and pre save list and got that liek 2 days before the release, is just straight up negligence and mistreatment, it was really shocking to see esp since i became an army during proof era and the chapter 2 comebacks were my real full comebacks the clear discrepancies in releases of jm and others shocking (i agree even v faced some but not to this amount sry and how the rap line projects always get the lowest amount of engagement esp hobi and his hots album/documentary) i dont like solos always but in these moments when i see real tiem engagement by pjms on insta and twt i sort of become thankful for them, bc otherwise this album would have been in the gutter and esp with geffen vp streaming head's twt/comment , its really just disgusting to see, never have i seen such blatant disregard for an album release. As for the rest of your rant, I can agree that the effort Hybe has been putting into promotions for BTS lately have been abysmal, especially for who BTS are. the way this fandom have trouble with ANYTHING jimin related is sickening. First, the obvious mistreatment with all of jm's releases. Then, we have "ot7s" accusing focused jimin accs of being solos. When jm's fanbases organizes streaming parties and recomebacks, its hell on twitter. Now, that person who was the guide for the jimin tour on that harry potter place is being accused of being a tae anti. Why the hell people started to search her tweets about tae in the first place, even tho she has the little seven on her dn? Just because she saw jm and said he is the most precious human being? Btw, her tweets about tae werent problematic at all. She just metioned things that TAE DID, like his paris date with jennie. Some "ot7" started to say she was tae anti and boom, people believed it and taes solos started to send death threats to the poor girl. Just because she was saying that we should normalize the members being treated as the grown man they r, men that can make their own decisions. ADULT decisions. If she had been a guide to any other member, i wonder, would she receive this hate?

What the fuck is wrong with this fandom. Why, even the "ot7", have such a big problem with jimin? I really dont get it. I dont think its a exaggeration anymore when we say that the only real ot7s r the ones that have jimin as bias. When we see fake ot7, always is someone who have other members as bias, and that shades jimin. On the other hand, more and more we have jimin biased army becoming solos because of all this hate he receives. And i dont judge them. I mean, i dont like solos, but i can understand the urge to defende jimin of everything and everyone, because, in the reality, we can't even trust the people on our own fandom. This solo bts era is a mess, and i'm so sick of all of this. I'm happy members r happy discovering who they r as individuals, and i'm loving what they r showing to us. But i'm afraid this fandom is worse and worse everyday.

I remember when this lady got attacked. Best believe me and my friends were right there backing her up among other people who were doing the same. She got many DMs all telling her to kill herself simply because she said V is an adult and can smoke if he wants to. Their real issue was that she met Jimin and praised him for being the beautiful, kind human that he is.

This is why this discord is important. More people need supporters in their corner. When 50 tkkrs are attacking you it can be overwhelming and that's why people leave twitter. But if you have other people fighting them off and encouraging you to stay and block them, it can make someone feel better about having people in their corner.

This girl had back up and she's strong so she stayed. The vermin are the scam of the earth. And I for one I'm done watching them ran havoc and get away with it. My friends and I have been fighting them for months and we will continue to do so with or without people's support.

Of course it would be nice if more people joined us but if you let these big tumblrs get in your head just because, then things will continue like they have been and what good has that done? You can yap about Jimin abuse all day. You can shout at the rooftops about JK being used as a shipping tool by tkkrs. You can cry all day about Jkkrs getting attacked and ran out. And u can complain about ot7 accounts being tkkrs that allow Jimin to get dragged. But if you're not doing anything about it then what good does that do?

For everyone who has something to say about what we are doing; If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem. You can deal with things your way, that's fine. jikook Harry Potter fic HELP

I can’t remember if it was on wattpad or AO3 but the story goes as a hogwart fanfic for jikook. I can’t remember what house the members are assigned to but I remember that jk has a twin and that both of the twins don’t like jm and they r kinda enemies. So i guess I could call this fanfic an enemies to lovers. Then the school holds a tournament and the jeon twins always used to win so obviously this year they are running for their house and surprisingly jimin also chooses to run for his house and I remember a scene in the story where a girl was chosen to run for her house (I think huffelpuff) but she was hesitant so she looked at jimin and he gave her a kind of small nod giving a I’ll watch over you type of look. I don’t know what happens after I think when I was reading they hadn’t updated past that but now I can’t find it. Pls help

everything is kookmin these days but once upon a time i wrote other bts pairings and before that i wrote for ikon and got7 (and before that aka before ao3: exo, bap, block b, beast, harry potter, naruto, kingdom hearts....god idk there are a lot of fandoms lol)

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

i like how desperate you seem (in the way you look at me) if i get in, i just might drown i glow pink in the night shine a light through the dark the moon keeps calling out to me, but i only ever hear your name

5. Do you respond to comments?

no, but i did promise myself to respond to comments again in 2024. starting with the ones left on my latest fic.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

uuhhh...probably i might not make it. simply because it's an mcd fic and spoilers! jk is dead throughout the fic and the fics ends like that...

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

lol i think pretty much all of my fics end with a happy ending aka the pairing ends up together, happily in love. 

8. Do you get hate on fics?

100%. lot of fandom drama involved with writing exclusively btm!jm. i've gotten anon msgs telling me to "kms", people hoping i get raped, murdered, my body never found etc etc. you name it, i've seen it. all because they hate that i write btm!jm.

i do think fandom has gotten less insane over this very recently but i am also just way less available and have a much smaller social media presence so lack of access to me has probably reduced the hate, too. plus i'm not actively part of fandom these days so people care about me less, which is great!

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

it's my favourite thing to write! i do need to get back into it though...also was not aware there are types of smut? i guess the rly nasty kind rjfkndk i like pretty much most kinks/fetishes and think it's fun to explore them.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

i have written three crossover fics! >:) two were bobby (ikon)/jimin and one was jaebum (got7)/jimin.

craziest one was probably oh boy, don't be shy since it's basically bobby finds jimin's dildo and then dp's jimin :D

yes, i used to allow translations but it got to a point where people would ask to translate and then never come back to link their translations. plus, i've had people link me to fics that were translated without my permission.

god, i have so many wips i want to write that it's always like...whatever sticks. my current wip tracker has 30 fic ideas on it. i rly want to write this mafia au but i have 2 supernatural aus i also want to write very badly...

there is also a collab fic i rly want to write with my friend bee, which i hope to finish, but idk if we will. i just rly love writing hurt/comfort jgfkd

16. What are your writing strengths?

i'm very good at writing emotion. it's important to me that the reader feels and understands what my characters are feeling and feels that connection to the fic. i'm also good at writing porn for this reason. i'm also very good at worldbuilding and i will put in the research and care to ensure my worldbuilding makes sense and is as accurate as possible and failing that, as believable as possible. moreover, i am just a dedicated researcher. because i write for a korean boyband, it's important to me that i do the research into korean history, customs, current social etiquette etc. it's actually a huge pet peeve of mine to see people just make stuff up or have the fic be entirely westernised/americanised but the boys are all in korea.

i think i'm also good at consistent characterization and at pacing/flow in my work. these are both rly important to me and i've worked on them a lot over the years. i think this also lends to me being pretty good at plotting a fic out so that it's not long and drawn out or that i'm not taking the time to explore certain aspects i've introduced. balance is important!

i think i'm also pretty versatile. i can write different genres pretty easily (eg. i love writing action sequences and am good at making sure the pacing is rly fast and then slowing down when something romantic or suspenseful happens) and am good at like setting a certain vibe/tone for a fic.

finally, i am dedicated to improving. i don't think fanfic writers necessarily owe this to readers (fic writing being a hobby) but writing is really important to me and so it's important to me that i improve and challenge myself.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

i need to read more! i need to expand my vocabulary and learn how to better write metaphors. my imagery could use work, my dialogue definitely needs work. i want to write my characters with a more unique voice versus everyone kind of sounding the same. i want to make sure each character has their own "quirks" the way real people do.

i need to learn to write better description, too, as i think setting can do a lot for setting the mood/tone for a fic. a lot of my short-comings just come down to me reading too little so i need to read more and i need to dissect my favourite fics and books and pinpoint what i found compelling about them.

i also need to challenge myself to write more plot-heavy fics and to be unafraid to write characters who are unlikable or appear irredeemable. i want to write fic that has one main plot but a million little subplots and i want all of these things to come together coherently. i want my work to explore themes that are important to me!

i don't care so much about grammar but probably, i need to get better at that too haha

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

since i write fic for bangtan who are korean, i don't think it's ever necessary to write dialogue in another language. it comes across as cringey (derogatory) and borders on racist imo

The prosecution seems to insinuate that a company formed on the success of  the 7 MEMBERS OF BTS can afford to completely disregard, not only 5 of the members, but 1 particular member, JM, whose album has been one of the most anticipated things to happen on planet Earth since Indigo and beyond to be honest, as this would be JM’s very first album: MINI OR NOT.

They are seriously standing in this unholy court and trying to make the Jury and the Public believe that THIS PARTICULAR NON CONFIRMED COUPLE is what has carried all of the 7 MEMBERS OF BTS to be number one in the world, regardless of the fact that, regrettably to ANY ARMY, Taekook has never had a subunit song, or subunit dance or any relevant and marketable subunit: NOTHING. Hence, theoretically, they've made absolutely not a single CENT on them, because their couple is also considered to be a "private" couple hence, they usually do NOT appear on paid content. THUS, it does kinda begs the question, given the lack of such relevant or profitable interactions;

I am the exact kind of nerdy to recognize and clap like a seal over J. Michael Straczynski's choice to do "the Caligula Episodes of I Clavdivs... In Spaaace!" on Babylon 5. Obviously influenced by the historical Caligula as well, but the dynamic between Cartagia and Londo is so clearly inspired by Caligula and Claudius in that series, JMS has mentioned being a fan several times... and he full-on lifts the gag about curing a cough with decapitation, come on!

I will say, Wortham Krimmer gives a solid performance as Cartagia, but it does pale in comparison to John Hurt as Caligula, easily a top ten John Hurt role IMO (and middle fingers all around to the obituaries who felt his 5 minutes in Harry Potter was more significant to mention, ugh).

not to drag this out but don't you think you and everyone that agrees with you are trying a little too hard to make abo (a plot device to make fluff and smut fics) too politically correct?

wasn't the whole purpose of abo to make omegas dependent and soft and sweet? i mean in one of my fav nomin abo jm pretends to be an alpha but you just can't deny that his body and his strength compared to the other alphas and even betas are built the way girls develop once puberty start (softer, curvier – you know? childbearing hips)? some authors completely write out the possibility of a boy omega and a girl alpha having opposite reproductive functions because it's just unfathomable to them to start to write. there's too many loopholes, not enough strong set rules unlike other au like harry potter or marvel or anime where a rule is only ever broken by authors who are brave enough to come up with different worlds/lore

so essentially it's a vminkook au where tae is kind of a bad guy (?) it's a Harry Potter au and has the goblet of fire game. tae is from a pure blood slytherin family (his father is kind of evil) jungkook is ravenclaw and jm is slytherin/gryffindor (?) but from a muggle born fam. tae likes jimin but jimin doesn't like him that way. while playing quidditch one time jimin meets kook and jimin afterwards says that he might have a crush on kook. they get closer, tae gets jealous and tries to keep them apart (emotionally manipulates jm into staying w him) they have the ball and kook asks jimin and jimin says yes and then after that kook confesses and they start dating. tae gets rly jealous and he kidnaps jm and locks him in the chamber of secrets and then everyone's going crazy searching for him but jk finds out and rescues jm and then etc etc
