Love your portrayal of J'onn. He always needs more attention, as far as I'm concerned. And hey, DC might not care or know what to do with him, but he's got a spot in the upcoming Absolute DC line-up of books. Maybe they'll put in a good showing for the poor guy.

I'm not much of a comic book fan, the last thing I read was that 2019 MM series. I'm curious to see what they'll come up with with him, I hope to live to see the day when he's allowed to fully use his powers. I was holding out hope for the animated tomorrowverse, but J'onn was poorly revealed there.

I honestly don’t know much about Hawkgirl (apart from what’s in the show), but her design is great in the Justice League animated series. I love the way her eyes are animated with the mask on, and her wings make an amazing silhouette.

Let’s all get this straight right now those animated films that were based off of the new 52 is not the DC animated universe, nor is the other pre-existing films SOLO films , that have been made in that decade

The DCU is the one and only Bruce Tim created animated universe that gave us Batman the animated series, Superman, the animated series, the new adventures of Batman and Justice league ,, Satic Shock , Just ice league unlimited and Batman Beyond

John would be Malachite. I'm reading online stuff about transformation, protecting, and mental clarity (but if we're being honest, it's cause it looks cool)

For Diana, Amazonite works if we're being on-the-nose about it lol

Wally could be Citrine. The tumbled variety usually have some cool movement to how they look.

Ohhhh heck. Completely forgot I was working on those and never finished it….

but here’s a sketch for gem J’onn from like months ago, I kinda forgot what gem I picked for him, but I’d put him in blue diamonds court. I didn’t do one for Clark but I do have one for hawkgirl, her being amber in yellow’s court.

If I were to do Clark I’d base him off a gem like this (I couldn’t find the name of it), with the gem on his chest possibly, and he’d be in pinks court. It might be fun to make him a fusion considering the contrast between his two identities, but im not really sure how to pull that off. I could also make it that when he’s Superman, his gem looks like his classic logo, but when he’s Clark Kent, he turns the gem around and it’ll look more like a tie on a suit or something, if that makes sense?

This is kind of fun to think about so might actually work on something, if anyone has other ideas I’d love to discuss about it, thanks for bringing this up :]
