I think nobody talks enough about how each of the sannin all have such glorious hair. all three of them have such long and luscious hair. i bet they traded hair routines and created their own hair formulas. I mean a jutsu like jiraiya's surely requires special shampoo. and just look at how shiny oro's hair is, it wouldn't be out of place in a pantene commercial. and tsunade, as vain as she is, most definitely has a whole ass routine too. hell, looking at hashirama's hair, I bet there's a secret senju haircare routine, passed down through generations. that's their real kekkei genkai. the legendary sannin, more like the legendary luscious locks.

Honestly I think Jiraiya might have been a better teacher for Sakura or Sasuke. Like his previous students were Minato "I'm gonna create my own jutsu and also learn something only the Second Hokage could do", Yahiko Konan and Nagato "being starving war orphans won't stop us from being the biggest badasses ever - oh and dying oops". Like he's used to teaching self-motivated and intelligent people like Sasuke "my life goal is murder" Uchiha and Sakura "learned how to be a top-tier doctor in two fucking years" Haruno.

Like Naruto admittedly has many good qualities but he is also. Genuinely stupid. I mean this with compassion. Bro did not know what chakra was until Sakura explained it to him and contrary to fanon belief we have no indication any teachers were fucking with his education in canon. Like Jiraiya is not suited to him as a teacher and it shows because he comes back after 2 years with him and has learned basically nothing lmao. He needs someone who is willing to sit down with him and force knowledge into is head and Jiraiya is not that.

Well in the fic *I'm* writing in my head now the attack doesn't even happen and Nagato simply betrays the Akatsuki and takes Naruto (willingly) back to their country to learn together about their past. They then join forces with Sasuke once he kills Danzou to kick obito's ass for ruining their lives ✨️

I’ve seen a couple of people talk about rewriting Naruto on my posts and, honestly, props to anyone who completes it. Even if it isn’t good, finishing a project that big is a feat.

And I would know. I spent 1-2 years trying to do better than Kishimoto and I approached it from like four different angles before throwing in the towel (for a variety of reasons, most of which were my fault).
