@thunder-wolf64 is working on an AU in which one of Arti's pups (the green one, here named Sizzling Waters) gets adopted by scavs, and later reunites with his, erm, mentally unstable mom. If you are a reader who wants to see an AU with evil Arti, you will certainly enjoy Thunder's creations.

@threestarsaboveclouds is an iterator ask-blog that belongs to @delta-orionis, their posts are LONG and full of lore and I am honestly in awe people like Delta give so much to the RW fandom - it's free, high quality entertainment done purely for hobby. I have a lot of respect for their work. Besides, TSAC's color palette is very striking, which is what has initially drawn me to this AU.

@ask-the-colony-tree-siblings is @mushroominaforest's ask blog, and in this AU Arti and Hunter are siblings! Also, Mushroom's art style is a treat and immediately recognizable and I'm happy when i see it pop up in RW tag.

@firecracker-pup is run by @batnip; in a way it's a sibling-askblog to mine because both of our AUs center around the reinterpretation of Artificer's blue pup.

Honorable mentions:

@spotsupstuff's takes on RW lore and all their work surrounding iterators (my biggest blind spot) had my jaw drop to the ground and roll off into the seas - it's brilliant. I kid you not when I say I have +20 tabs open right now waiting there so I can binge-read Spot's posts once I get a free evening. There's so much of it... and I am ready to feast.

@opashoo has been working on a conlang for slugcats that I am 100% going to use in my AU. If you want to see amazing RW animations, art, and lore discussions, please follow her!

I'll admit, I feel like a lot of ask-blogs have died in the last 6 months? A handful of artists that were considered big - left the fandom. I'm not quite sure why that happened, but I'm hoping that the Watcher DLC brings some of them back (maybe).

And it was just me and her if we both ignored the security cams and the Clerks, and we did ignore them, so as far as I cared it was perfect. I was gonna ask her out, and maybe it was stupid but I wanted it to be like one of her romance novels 'cuz I sometimes sneak in a chapter or two when she's not looking. She always read that kind of, of cheesy shit and I know she woulda appreciated it. But I know you don't care about that kind of stupid pointless shit, right? [Emily lets out a humorless chuckle.]

[Emily sniffles, choking down a sob. A pause— about two minutes and four seconds in length— ensues as she presumably attempts to regain composure.]

...I'm pretty damn strong, if I do say so myself, but I guess I wasn't strong enough to do anything that actually mattered. One of those damn printers came outta nowhere and just crushed her, just like that, and suddenly my first love is gone. Just like that. Isn't it ironic that the moment I decide to open my heart, it's squashed flat just like Maxine was?

It wasn't a quick death, either, y'know, but I bet you're already familiar with these kinds of stories, right? I bet you don't even feel anything when I tell you that I watched her bones struggle and splinter and snap beneath the weight. She made this horrible rattling, choking noise as she scrabbled at the floors so hard that her nails broke, and I felt the way her flesh tore as I pulled so hard so desperately at her arm that it came off altogether and somehow it was still warm against my cold-ass fingers that i would always press against the back of her neck just to see her jump and curse at me

but now she will always be colder than my fingers

I know it wanted it to hurt. It wanted her to hurt. It wanted me to hurt and it killed her with the same kind of slow and loving care that i used to reserve for her

A dead agent, not even from my department- and it's my fault, again. Just as always. I'll... try my best to get those printers down, though I'm not sure how they got here myself. The manager has just called Rabbit Team and the facility received a notification for an unannounced threat... I'm sorry, Emily.

(He puts his device up, and scrolls through the security tapes again, before abruptly closing it. Soon, an announcement can be heard ringing through the halls of the Welfare team.)

Everybody, listen up! There is one printer in the printer room that is controlling everything. It is also responsible for turning clerks into new printers, as well. I need all my female-at-birth fighters to direct all their attention to that printer, while everybody else capable of fighting need to watch the hallways and make sure nothing else gets out. Any clerk who is unable to protect themselves should take refuge in my office or Mirror of Adjustment's containment unit, are we clear?
