man, you know, nobody asked me, but I have such conflicting opinions on some of the fat falin art, where on one hand: it's always nice to see A Fat Body in fanart anywhere + it's being done in positive ways, for funsies and on the other hand, there is something so familiar about how you are automatically The Fat One if you are a woman simply standing next to a more petite woman, bc I've had a 0% hitrate in seeing people change Marcille's body type and keep Falin's, or change both of them. it's just Falin

This aside, I want to trust Kusanagi sensei's writing, and that she wouldn't just off him just like that... and if she does then at least write it well.... but fingers crossed he survives this (I'm coping okay??!?). But you know you know? There's Mei-nyan who has the same illness as Soo won and I don't see her dying any time soon considering her little romance starting with Val now (it would just be a bad conclusion to her story I think if she just drops dead... I think). So if SHE has a chance, Soo won has one too ?!?!?

I like to think that the story is currently going in a direction that will find solutions for everyone affected by the dragons' shitty curse, which means the four dragon warriors (especially Zeno) AND Soo won and Mei nyan.

I don't want Yona to be queen, you know what'd be cool... but this is just my personal silly wish... her becoming the general of the Sky Tribe, since she is from there. It'd be such a niiiiice way for her to still be in an important position in the country without yanking the crown away from Soo won, it feels like a win-win for everyone. After all, Yona's goal is to help her country, and so does Soo won, they're not clashing in this aspect. In my delusions hopes for the future, I would love for Soo won to stay king, Yona become the sky tribe general, Yoon to become a medical officer, the dragons warriors, Soo won and Mei-nyan to live long lives free from burdens and Zeno to finally become mortal

Soo won is so pretty...

This aside, I genuinely hope for a good ending for him... I don't want him to just die... it's just too tragic considering everything he had (and still has) to go through. And it wouldn't feel like a proper conclusion to his story in my point of view...

small PSA: if you shop at craft shows or artist alleys, please bring more than apple pay or a virtual card - especially if you're not comfortable entering your card number manually. not all of us have fancy card readers, so please also bring your physical card or cash, even if it's only as backup 👍

It Sucks For Both Of Us!#when i say there are small businesses in the artist alley i mean some of us are Small #i don't speak just for myself but for other artists who have this trouble as well. some folks are just starting out and some folks #just do this for a hobby and can't afford or can't justify the bigger terminals yet or at all #if i get into ACEN again next year i'll opt for a terminal but they're Pricey and not something to start out with y'know #if you want to be an artist's best friend though? pay in cash.#not to mention if there's technical or wifi trouble - cash just works 100% of the time. no reader or wifi will stop you from using cash.#semi related but i had someone try to pay with apple pay at my last show and i said they'd have to enter their number manually then #and they said they'd go find their partner and see if they had card/cash. and then while they were walking away from their booth #their friend asked why and they said it wasn't safe. on one hand i can't be mad because its VERY good to practice card safety!#on the other hand. you're entering it into the same app that would process a swipe payment. it's exactly as safe as if you'd swiped it #i promise as long as you're entering the number into a square app your card info is safe lmao #anyway yeah a lot of us aren't Big Businesses. please just be courteous and bring some traditional payment methods Just In Case

I work with somebody about once a week who is so fascinating to me, especially when they are at our first desk. When someone walks in, they do not so much as smile or look at them, much less greet them. When someone leaves, they don't do anything either. If someone says, "Thank you," they say, "Sure," and if someone says, "Have a good one," they say, "Sure."

Listen. I don't know if it's because I was born and raised in the South for over three decades or because I was the front-facing customer-service-driven person at my previous jobs for a grand total of eight years. But I wince and get a little flappy anxious every time. What do you mean, you're not greeting people warmly so they're smiling as soon as they come through the door? What do you mean, you don't thank them for coming, wish them a good day, and bid them farewell? What do you mean, you just don't interact with the public unless forced, even in our front-facing job?

I think the amiable Southern politeness is just too engrained in me. There is no getting rid of it. And I'm kind of hoping that eventually I can work my way up to having more shifts at our first desk instead of our second because it's a lot weirder to gently greet someone from a distance when the employee closest to them is not paying them a single bit of mind.

#please do not misunderstand me this is not me criticizing people who have social anxiety or autism or are uncomfortable with small talk #i have and am all of those things in fact #it's just me reflecting on the cultural differences between the south and the midwest that i have discovered so far #people are startled when i hold the door open for them if i go in before them and they're close behind me #and my coworkers seem alarmed sometimes when i greet people with a beaming smile and try to make conversation #i still can't stop myself from smiling and making eye contact with someone if we pass on the sidewalk #i force myself to talk at a reasonable pace and not jump in and interrupt people with 'yeah' or 'sure' like i'm impatient with them #and part of it is my upbringing but also part of it is that we are painfully in need of funding and donations #and literally the only thing i can do in that regard is make people feel so happy to be in our building that they keep coming back #and they develop relationships with the staff and attend our programs and finally see how much more we could do #if we had just a little bit more help #augh i really love my job y'all and i really hope i can keep doing well there and get more hours and responsibility and money #i come home every day feeling fuzzy and smiling even if i am absolutely exhausted as well #my ramblings

i swear my stepdad is so illogical AND stubborn it hurts

#okay so strap in coz this is a wild ride #tl;dr we have been without heat and warm water for years and i mean literal years #because he refuses to pay off some debt he built up with the company #because he feels unfairly treated (let's not get into this. it absolutely makes no sense) by the company #so instead of doing the logical step of growing some balls and admitting he made a mistake and paying off his shit #he's been looking for a new supplier all over but the deal IS #that he's been doing this with a couple of places before and people are hesitant to even make him any offers #and you'd think that learning about THAT at least now he'd be like. idk willing to just pay off his debt and be done with it #but you'd be WRONG #now he's looking to just have our entire heating system replaced for the teeny tiny price of 25000 bucks #mind you his debt isn't even a THIRD of that #and obviously he can't afford those 25000 bucks #so what's his next step now you might wonder?#well good thing you asked. his next step is going off on ME for not paying towards the new heating he wants #and now that that's not working for him guess what he did next?#that's right. he bought shit expensive 'space heaters' that are pretty much just small little boxes that you plug into an outlet #and he swears up and down that they're going to heat up our house (it's negative degrees outside)#(it's obviously not working)#and genuinely. all i can think of is how much money he shoved into trying to macgyver this house into a house with warm water and heating #and how he blew off ten thousands of bucks he got paid when he retired within the span of two weeks #when this debt could have been paid off ten times over by now #so now you might be thinking. okay tiago. why don't you move out #good question you see. my mom is disabled and reliant on someone who cares for her #something that he can't won't and shouldn't do because the last time he sorta kinda tried she almost died and we had to call an ambulance #she wouldn't eat a thing if i weren't there to cook. the house would fall into disrepair if i wouldn't do maintenance all around #i've set up (functioning) heat in some areas she occupies and i've gotten a boiler going so she at least has warm water #i'm paying off their bills to make sure he doesn't skip on paying any others. i'm buying groceries for them because again they wouldn't get #any for themselves #and finally. i've offered to pay off his debt so that we can finally live like normal fucking people do #and guess what. guess WHAT. he just got mad at me for not adding money to that 25000 bucks pool for that new fancy heating he wants

. . . Not my most well thought out plan sksksks, but once I started I wanted to make her look absolutely perfect! The constant worrying led to artblock and then there were exams to worry about and constant software glitches which corrupted her save files . . . Oof this project got out of control very quickly and my clumsy approach was not helping but despite it all . . . She’s finally complete!! Not too shabby looking haha, I hope you like her design as much as I do!! Please do let me know what you think 🙇🏻‍♀️

dgaf about egg jokes they're harmless and at worst mildly stereotypical do your thing im sure ive made one before. however. i do feel like the whole discourse was kicked off by that "egg behavior to wear women's deodorant as a man" tweet and we all collectively need to agree that that tweet was dumb & stupid and women's deodorant is objectively superior to men's. actually men's hygiene products in general just suck more except razors. apparently its manly to smell like shit and have dry skin. if i had my druthers id force every cis man to use dove deodorant. id mean id still do it if it made them transgender but i see it as more of a public service in terms of smell than in that regard.

#men's clothes also are all Fucking Beige.#they fit better and are better quality material but fuck me they're boring unless you're willing to drop major cash #also i don't really get the egg thing bc i came out at 11 #so for me being an egg was just like i want to crawl out of my skin and i can't picture myself as a happy adult woman #but that's puberty right? oh.#and all these jokes are way more for like early 20 somethings that didn't have an inkling i guess #and i just don't get it bc i was always mixing male and female stuff growing up so i didn't care or see it as a sign #but if you DID have a gendered childhood and adolescence then yeah small gender experimentation like buying different soap would matter #i also did have some experiences more similar to what trans women seem to recount though so idk #like i used to privately (chastely) crossdress and take pictures of myself #and i don't think ive ever met another trans guy who did that unless they were from a strict religious backgrounf #or like religious women trying on jeans for the first time #anyway. I want to love and support postal service workers during this stressful time. And I do. However it's hard when they do some things

#yesterday there was a package on my porch for someone who lives fully a block away on a different street #i have something coming that was marked ''out for delivery'' Saturday and is now marked ''at fedex facility''. hm #also i think this would be easier if my mailman were reliable most of the time but he's not #he can't be bothered to turn his head and look at our house to see if we have mail to go out #so sometimes it just sits there for days if he doesn't have to come up to the porch #and he just refuses to take away not at this address mail. leaves it there.#oh well. i bought so many stamps this week!#and you know who i DO appreciate. the lovely man at the small town post office who always apologizes #once for someone being mildly rude to him in front of me and once just for a minor wait. in december! he's so nice

Ghouls HC

Okay, hear me out. I know, I know this theory is contradictory with a lot of fandom lore so just take it as a fun thought.

What if ghouls aren’t actually demons. What if a summoning gathers souls from animals or humans that recently died.

When an earthly creature dies right after a summoning starts the soul is collected to form a new ghoul. Every element needs a certain type of creature thus water ghouls need fish souls, air ghouls need bird souls, earth ghouls need any type mammal that lives on land, quints have human souls and fire ghouls need reptile souls (being the closest thing to a dragon). A soul needs to be strong to form a new ghouls so when no strong souls are available multiple weaker souls are merged together, that’s how multis are formed.

I like to think that the look of the ghouls is solely based on how humans thought they should look like. Given that the summoning is a magic invented by humans, they therefore (subconsciously) decided to give the ghouls a human/demon look.

#instead of needing only one soul to form a ghoul I was also thinking about them needing several souls for one ghoul #just has to do with the energy conversion because energy can't be created #and small animals have less energy than needed so you might need more than one #that's why summonings might take a while #oh you see that ghoul over there? they are like 70% turtle but there are are two fish and a hamster in the mix as well #yeah I don't know #I wrote my last exam two days ago my brain is fried #the band ghost #ghost bc #ghost band #ghoul headcanons #ghoul hcs #ghost ghouls #nameless ghouls #mika yells
