I started making this cushion cover 2 years ago, after a lot of not working on it, I finally finished it this afternoon.

'upastige draca' is the incantation Merlin uses to make a dragon for his Pendragon after revealing he's magic. I had briefly considered thank you or hold me but @mid-n0vember's suggestion was better.

i find it so hard to write merlin fanfictions, and i've wrote tons of fics when i was younger, but everytime i start to write a merlin one i just blank

it's like i can never quite grasp the characters eventhough i've seen the show 100 times

Anyone else struggle with not being super invested in a particular fandom, and maybe even more so not invested in a particular pairing or ship from that fandom, but because it's popular and you have mutuals or people you follow who are super into it you see so much absolutely drop dead gorgeous art of that particular pairing/ship, and you're stuck in this position where the art is breath taking and you want to support the artist and like and reblog their work, but at the same time it's not really your thing, like you're not personally into the thing outside of "it's pretty" which leads to this weird hollow disingenuous feeling if you do interact with the thing, and like you're the only one that would know you don't actually really care about the thing, but it makes you feel sort of gross/fake idk how to explain it. I know I could just block the tags but like it's not like I hate the the fandom or even the pairing it just doesn't speak to me and I find myself in this weird space where I want to be supportive of the art and love being put into the thing but not actually involve myself with the thing.

ok, let's settle this once and for all. Merthur is not divided into a popular bad boy with a lot of friends/shy nerd Merlin is an introverted empath, but he has a group of good friends and there is something about him that makes people gravitate towards him. He is still an introver. Arthur is an extrovert, desperately looking for aboobatics and people, damn easy to manipulate, with at most one or two okay people around him. He is still the main loud extrovert, but he is also terribly lonely because there is no one he can trust when Merlin has a group of close friends and knows that they care about him. Arthur has people, Merlin has friends.

the moon is calmer, shines dimmer, but has planets (people) close to it and knows that it is not alone
