You're talking about hermit citizens! I was super into that a year or two ago! (Wow has it really been that long...)

I imagined mine spawning in during the lag spike when the massive chorus tree was broken at the end of the HCBBS countdown, and so having teleportation powers (explaining why I'd still manage not to miss all the stuff going on while no longer being a Watcher) and being able to eat chorus fruit without teleporting, also I headcanon that anything that pierces a chorus fruit teleports so she would be the only one who could chop up a chorus fruit without losing the knife so she'd end up living in Aque Town and working at the MooPop cafe, she might sometimes take a bite out of the purpur since it's technically edible and she's one of the few who still like the taste/texture when it's cooked, also she looks like an enderman-cat hybrid (humanoid shadow with cat ears and tail and glowing magenta eyes) because sewer cats, then in season 8 I imagined that she would live in Boatem for most of the season but move to Hohenzollern for safety when the Mooners stuff happened. (Also around this time I was thinking less in terms of this oc and more about a couple of ocs I have since written a story about entirely separate from Hermitcraft, those two having powers connected to amethyst crystals and twisting vines respectively, so that might be why I was quite so invested in the Nothing virus story!)

But I haven't really thought about it much this season, I guess since I started playing MC Java properly literally on the day the season started it was like my story had fully diverged from the one I was watching, but if I bring back the ender cat person oc, I think she'd still be living in the starter village, showing up wherever to see big events and stuff. Loves reading in/staring in awe at the library nether hub. Also was definitely someone who went through the Rift during the crossover, and this is when she realises she is still partly a Watcher because the place highly resembles some of her dreams!

3. weapon of choice? any particular reason they chose their weapon?

(this is a perfect question as ive been playing more splatoon 3 recently so i actually have a feel for the weapons i want my characters to use hihi + ill just list all of the ones i currently have chosen weapons for!)

turns out, this post grew way longer than i thought it would so uh woe read more be upon you

Arsenic:

Definitely Splatana Wiper as main and (Luna) Blaster as secondary, he has a quick and agressive playstyle so these are the weapons he usually goes for (also his aim is absolute dog with chargers and splatlings are a little bulky and slow for him, he can use shooters when needed but he doesnt find them interesting to play)

Link:

Probably sticks with a vanilla Splat Charger, likes to play support/backline but still pressures the opposite team quite a bit whilst staying out of fire himself. Other than his proficiency with his main weapon he probably has some practice in with other weapon classes as well. (This is because he works for Ammo Knights hihi)

I'd imagine him being kind of well known for his absolutely bonkers k/d ratio because of his high awareness playstyle but he would definitely have the dumbest deaths in practice :')

Zel:

Zel is a HUGE fan of heavy weaponry like this woman is absolutely insane about them and practices every single one she can get her hands on but her main weapon of choice in battle would probably be a Dynamo Roller or a Nautilus when she's feeling extra silly... as for why its mainly because it helps her stay physically strong and uhhh lifting super heavy weapon in practice means she doesnt have to go to the gym often

A4:

Definitely shooter class weapons, probably sticks to something like an N-Zap, Splash-o-Matic, Splattershot and Splattershot Pro but is quite handy with a Squiffer when needed. I imagine at some point A4 and Link would switch roles just before a match to confuse the opponent (very silly behaviour)

BONUS!!!!!!!! These are characters which i havent really thought of in a competitive sense or havent developed yet

itll be very messy going forward mainly because i want to yap so hard about these little inkfish thumbs up

Fern:

Fern doesn't really play that much but would probably prefer Dualies, not sure which but she'd probably switch it up sometimes

Violet:

Brella 100% (i dont know how to explain it i just feel it in my bones) her Brella would probably be decorated to the max literally her pride and joy (also known as her favourite fashion accessory as she's too busy with her job to actually use it in battle :( boowomp)

Amber: (<- Arsenic's younger sister!!!)

Brella/Bucket, i haven't really thought of her in battle but she'd probably just mess around a ton lol

Ise Rotag:

Ise was originally the character that was Link's like future partner??? their story was really nice but he got replaced by Arsenic after i abandoned the two for a few months and decided to revive Link again (you will see Ise more btw i fucking love his design and cuntyness) FOR THE WEAPON! Probably an Inkbrush honestly this guy loves to be annoying and sneak up on backliners when they least expect it, plays very aggressively as well... also his name has a really funny origin and if youre able to guess it ill uhh idk good job

I have 3 other characters but they all dont have names so uhm yeah ill just go quickly through these

oc based on coroika, inkling, probably something backline, dont imagine them in battle often

waiter, octoling, grim blaster (or so me from 2 years ago wrote down)

shut-in, inkling, new squiffer (again according to notes left to their design drawings)

2&3 were together and 1 was a sona for shits and giggles but uh theyll come back someday!! i promise!!! like their designs and relationship dynamics too much!!! they might even be Ise's new teammates!!!

Admittedly they are someone I haven't spoken to in a very long time, so I hope that they've been doing okay and still doing art cause they do some great work. ^^

But anyway! To provide some context behind these pieces and how they came to be. Some of yous may have heard this story before, but to explain it for those who may not know…

Back in 2018, I was already starting to feel a slow attachment to furry stuff. I had a lot of sympathy for furs cause of the bs that they would deal with from arseholes and the like, and just how extreme it got (Most notably the hotel gas attack at Midwest Furfest in 2014.).

Soon enough I came across the subreddit r/Furry_IRL back when I use to browse reddit pretty regularly. There I saw what appeared to be this sort of self-awareness and embrace of cringe, which included heaps of irony in the process. It made things a lot more charming cause it felt as if Furries were getting a lot bolder despite the years of attacks, harassment, etc. They dealt with it, and at the same, there was a vibe that made me feel people were more accepting, no matter how weird you got. At the time I was pretty alone, got bullied a lot, and in typical fashion, this was the group I gravitated to more over time.

I should add I do know now the more negative connotation that subreddit gives, and honestly, I have a lot of critiques as well. But at the time, this was just an important thing for me where I felt like I had no other group to be with.

Around October, I was in a voice call on Discord with two friends which included Igloo9201 (Nickname them Iggzy. ::B) and Silverstar. I believe I was sharing some of the memes I came across, and we were all joking about becoming furries and all. I had no plans at that point, but we were all poking each other and being dorks about it.

I was eventually asked the inevitable question though that changed the course of my life by Silverstar…

"Hey TAGG. If you had to pick a sona, what would you choose?"

I had to think! Spider wasn't my first thought at the time, and I was actually thinking at first a Kangaroo, just cause it was a main Australian animal, but at the same time I was reading this Manga called "I am a Spider, So What?", with a main character with a very self-explanatory thing about them. ::B

As you can see from their design, I found them extremely cute and at that point, I hadn't really seen any designs of spiders like this that weren't just meant to be evil. So it felt like it could be nice to go for a species that you probably wouldn't expect, even if it was a contribution to the #1 phobia that people have. ::B

I think at this time I was also getting interested in Peacock Spiders, I was fascinated by their peculiar dance-y behaviour. Obviously was meant for mating, they still had such an interesting personality that it really grew on me. Learning how basically they were all harmless on top of that really made them jump in my mind especially.

As a result, my answer was obvious. Cut to some time into the call, I am surprised by the drawings Silverstar did, and on the same day, I ended up making a Furaffinity account with them.

At that point, the rest was history!

It was a fun end result of everything, I love seeing how much Leo evolved from here. There hasn't been too many obvious changes, outside of him eventually being more based on the Sparklemuffin Spider I soon discovered some time after getting Leo.

The biggest differences that do stand out at least is his body being more like a harder looking shell, compared to the fur covering him all over. His abdomen is a lot more flatter than more rounder in shape. There's also a lot less head hair as well, and most notably his the number of eyes were the biggest change as well, which you will see in a lot of these art pieces I like to call "The Prototype" versions of Leo. ::B

I do feel like I need to do more stuff with Leo in a suit, it was a fun thing I miss doing especially since it tied with the intended "He will get in whatever fit if it means he will get to dance" characteristic I thought up at the time. It was also kind of a thing that was a reference to one of my old as heck usernames, which was on a bit of the embarrassing side, but eh, got to repurpose through this. XXD

I still really appreciate Silverstar for the art, I still hold these pieces fondly in my heart, and grateful of both them and Iggzy for what they did on that day that got me into being a furry and getting my spidey self! Heck they probably are the reason I kind of found out a lot more about myself, being asexual/panromantic, finding new folks, etc. A true butterfly effect. ::P

yeah I'm talking abt trans hair. At least, my experience with being trans and my connection to my hair.

I've been someone who has grown up with long hair my entire life. it's fairly common for anyone who was decided to be a girl by the people around them. I was offered to have my hair cut short a few times but it was only ever bob cuts - basically feminine short. never short-short.

When i got older and realized I was trans, my hair became incredibly dysphoric to me. People said how pretty it was long and i grew to hate it. to me my hair being long is what made me a girl. I thought - naively - if my hair got cut I'd be a boy. Just like how all those girls in the movies could do. They'd cut their hair and be seen as a boy.

But I was scared. I feared not looking good with short hair. I feared people would laugh or I'd hate it. It took me years to build up the courage to finally ask for a haircut.

But i did finally ask and I showed my mom the picture for the hairstyle i wanted. We went to the hair stylists and they cut my hair. It was short short but... it was still feminine. Now I don't fully blame this on anyone - i wasn't out of the closet yet. I had shown a picture of a more feminine model that showed what style i wanted. But to be honest feminine or not it was short. It was short and I felt good about myself for the first time in years. I looked in the mirror and i could smile at what I saw.

I struggled a bit with style for a while, unsure of what I wanted my hair to look like. I wanted low maintenance but for it to still look how I wanted. At some point I was left with a long gap between my hair getting cut. In fact it's been over a year since I got it cut... I've moved since then and I'm worried about what I want. I mean, obviously cutting my hair doesn't make me look any more like a boy. I'm not on hormones. I dn't dress "boyishly". My hair still causes me dysphoria but now my dysphoria has shifted targets. when it realized that my hair can't change how people perceive me it moved to something else.

So i've been stuck without a hair cut for a year+. Partially because my money is short so i don't have the ability to spend something on a pricey hair cut. partially because I haven't had time to go find a hair stylist (ik barber shops exist but i don't think they'd accept me...). partially because I don't know what i want. Whats the point of going to a hair stylist and paying a ton of money I don't have just to get a hair cut i might not even like. so my hair has grown out. Which yeah, caused me dysphoria at first...until I realized that longer hair makes me look like the characters I have gender envy for. men with long hair are some of the top gender envy for me. So i drew my sona with long. I drew it to try and ease my dysphoria. to show how fun styling longer hair could be. and now I've grown to kinda like it? Sure, i still feel a bit dysphoric but I've been putting it in a mini ponytail lately and it feels nice :) I feel nice.

so when someone mentions how my hair being long is why I'm being misgendered.... think you can understand why that probably hurts a lot more than it likely would with anyone else.

ofc i don't blame this person for not knowing. It's my experience after all. but it still hurt. it hurt a lot being told what my dysphoria had told me so many times. that my hair was why i was seen as a girl. I was becoming happy with my hair and it set me back a bit. I started wondering if i should get a hair cut again even though I was happy with my hair as is...

of course I'm back to being happy about it again. It's easier to push through the dysphoria when you've already done it once before. (also helps that a lot of cis guys at my work have long hair)

tbh idk what the point of this post is. Maybe that trans peoples connections with their hair can be complicated and maybe saying how someone looks is the reason they get misgendered is kinda fucked up - especially when you don't know what the person wants /is comfortable with / is happy with /ect. maybe don't add to peoples dysphoria because you think you're giving them "advice" (quotations because telling ppl they don't pass enough is not advice)

idk. hair is complicated. my experience with hair is complicated. I'm sure a lot of trans peple have complicated feelings about hair. maybe it shouldn't just be a black and white "cut it if ur transmasc and grow it out if your transfem"

2023 recap!

Can't belive the year is over! Time to look back cause I sure don't remember half the stuff I've done

January

Birb got 10 notes and I couldn't believe how much people loved him.

I tried a crochet kit and was defeated. In my defense I have to say it was right after an exam and it was really cold.

I got a watercolor set and rediscovered my love for watercolor

February

Discovered Funguary, and made 4 charactes. It's a really fun challenge that I'm surely going to participate again.

I made quite a few watercolor pieces, I still like them all a lot

March

Don't know how, but I finished the 100 head challenge. There are some awful monstruosities, but I learned a lot. I'll probably do it again in the future, it's a pretty nice exercise.

I finally made a sona! And this one has stuck! I love my lil shadow creature.

Made what is probably the watercolor piece I love the most. And one the pieces I like the most overall.

I got FlipaClip and had a lot fun making some little animations. Someone even used one of the lil gifs! That made me pretty happy

I personalized a little notebook to carry around, and it was the best desition of my life. I love that thing. And it's amazing that I don't have to search for the pen, it's all together!

The coin pouch is also one of the best things I've made. The strings are a bit long and the embroidery is a bit loose, I'll fix those on the next one I make (looking at you, squid pouch)

The anual redraw of Coral and Sebastian couldn't be missing. The poor Sebastian finally got his (I hope) final design. I was in love with how it looks, but looking it now... What hapened to their faces?

Decided to redraw some old drawings I had on Ibis. The progress I've made since I drew the originals.

Mermay, of course! Somehow they turned into oficial ocs. I love the stupid trio.

Aaaaaaahhhhh!!!! It's almost July and I haven't updated my ArtFight references! "Chibi" versions it is. At least now a lot of them have colored full body references.

Painted a box! It's now buried under too many trinkets I have to clean up, but I still love how pretty it looks!

Started a new sketchbook and painted the cover. I love the mushroom lantern.

Made this year's Artfight gif, banner and artfighters. The silly gif brings me a smile every time I see it.

July

ArtFight! 42 attacks and 21 defenses. I have no idea how I managed to make so many. I did get burned out on the second half of the month tho. I absolutely love every single art I received, but this one with Coral and Sebastian has a special place.

What do you do when you are burned out? You make a new style, of course! I love the simple style that came out of that. Feels weird to see that is fairly recent, I feel like I've been using it for ages. It has evolved a bit since, those thin lines in the eyes look weird now.

Nuclear Waste was born. And people went crazy. The silly boy loves and appreciates all the affection you've showered him!

Smaugust is a thing? Dragons! I still need so much prectice with them and animals in general.

I made a comic! I love it, it's so silly. I had a great time with it.

September

Pirate shirt! It fits a bit weird, but I think I can fix it. It took soooo long to hand sew it

I got a drawing tablet! Took me a couple of weeks to get used to, but it was worth it. I love using it.

To practice I made every single prompt of CuteGirltober. The only reason I was able to finish is that most of them were left as sketches. Should have learned from ArtFight, I can't draw every day, that's too much.

November

I made a font! It works really well, and it's so fun to type something and see it look like you handwrote it.

Got to write a bit too. I need to do that more.

I also worked on some proyects I've been wanting to do but haven't touched in a long while.

Including bookbinding a little notebook! I filled it with headshots of my ocs.

December

ArticFight prompts and a secret santa were mostly the reasons I drew. I love this one with Alex and Layla.

I also made some free adoptables. There might be some left when this is posted.

This was an OC question prompt I filled out for fun in the discord

01. Oldest OC: My oldest OC is a black wolf named Galar. She has purple boot markings and usually stained with blood. She was actually a side character to a larger story that has long since been scrapped.

02. Newest OC: My newest oc is an unnamed witch from a story I have about magic, fantastical creatures and the scientific world coexisting in one place.

03. Favorite OC: My favorite original character answer at some point easily would have been either Sharu or Lamis, with Fifi coming close behind, but at any given moment I usually have one or two ocs I'm particularly infatuated with and couldn't be for sure.

04. Favorite OC Design: My favorite design I've done that I still own is Scarlet, a "foxpixie"(original species). His design is simple and pleasing to me without being unnatural.

05. Main Reason For Making OCs: Self expression, connecting with others by creating characters that harbor relatable aspects of myself, and just the challenge of it.

06. Character Creation Process: World > Vague Archetype > Vague Appearance > Refining Character Traits > Refining Appearance > Complete Character

07. Do You Ship Your OCs W/ Someone Else's: Romantically, not at the moment, but I wouldn't be opposed to it if I thought the characters would make a good match beyond just their aesthetics

08. Fav OC Ship?: Sharu x Chotsea favorite. Runnerups Taka x Scarlet, and Dusty x Fifi though those two make the best friends already.

09. Weirdest OC: Currently I believe Adek would have to be weirdest. They're a nervous wreck who just as easily switches and finds unwavering confidence as they take different forms while shapeshifting.

10. Villain OCs: Pelona the plant. He is redeemable to a point but his self hatred governs all his actions and he commits terrible acts against those around him in order to isolate himself. Then he turns into an uncontrollable mass of hatred. So yeah, him.

11. Would You Consider Yourself Nice To Your OCs: My older ones, yes. My newer ones, not so much. They go through much more pain.

12. An OC You've Killed (If You Haven't Killed Anyone, Who Would You Kill?): Pelona dies at the end of their story and comes back as a sad, small plant with no semblance of consciousness so I guess that counts. I have multiple alternate endings to Scarlet's story, where the character Muldoon can die in one of them, his loyal knight Ettore along with him.

13. Are Any Of Your OCs Parents: Yes, a few of my cantin OCs are parents (Ixias, Nelif and Paraiba). Sharu and Chotsea were once going to be parents but I undid that.

14. Are There Any OCs You Find Yourself Neglecting: Absolutely. I have neglected all the humanoid OCs in my "solarwitch" world for years. I also neglect most of my OCs made from 2014-2018. I still love them though.

15. An OC That's Difficult To Write/Draw/RP: Dorothy the skunk/cow hybrid has been unnaturally difficult for me to write any backstory for, let alone draw. I don't RP.

16. Tallest And Shortest OCs: Going by relative height to other developed (fully grown) characters in their worlds; CG, Yuuma. Fairy Queen, Periwinkle. As for OCs with no specific universe, Chotsea or Under might be the tallest, Fudgey is the smallest.

17. Oldest and Youngest OCS: Tellstruths and an unnamed dragonfly are ancient in age, while Clauze is the youngest developed OC I have. All are from the Redgrass world

18. Do You Dislike Any Of Your OCs: Dolores is an OC I made my sona as a joke as he is very unlike me. He's high strung and doesn't get along with my other sonas. Therefore he is the closest to disliked, though even then I can't really dislike any of my characters since I made them.

19. Have You Ever Made A Self Insert: I assume this is referring specifically to making a fancharacter for a piece of media that is supposed to represent myself if I were in said world. None come to mind.

20. An OC Regret: I don't give enough love to my OCs and that is regrettable. A design I regret making maybe? I don't have one...

21. An OC You Didn't Expect To Be Popular: Speagle. I knew kidcore stuff was popular but I didn't think people would like him enough to be downloading his pics to put in moodboards and adding him to their kin tags. As for a more recent example, Marbol was more well received than I thought he would be for a little green gremlin thing, so that was nice.

22. An OC You Didn't Expect To Love: I expect to love any OC I design to keep, but Adek in particular was just so silly to begin with I didn't think I'd be so attached to him. His name literally used to be obscenities bc of how much of a joke he was. He's stupid and a scaredy cat and I have a special soft spot for him now.

Camping (part 4)

Putting tents can be fun activity, and yet a bit tiring at the same time. Axel was trapped several times because of Liya's little pranks, while Sona was running around, distracting a bit, and being curious at the same time. Finally, everything was settled.

Anoli: Okay, we have finished.

Nazeel: Me and Sona too.

Axel: With great difficulty.

Lilith: We have done it too~

Jeff: Well, what would you guys like to do?

Liya: I'm up to anything~

Lucifer: How about to swim?~ Like, test out the water~

Jeff and Axel got nervous immediately as they realised what it meant. Fortunately for them, Chris came up with idea.

Chris: How about you guys go and have fun while i prepare meal?

Anoli: Shall we help you, love?

Chris: Oh, don't worry, I can handle it myself.

He smiled as smooched Anoli's forehead kindly, while Axel and Jeff, looking at each other, immediately took a chance.

Axel: Umm, maybe we can help?

Jeff: Yeah, after all men should help each other, right?

They smiled dorkly as Chris was surprised for a moment.

Chris: Well, if you both don't mind-

Axel and Jeff: We don't.

Chris: Pff, okay, then you two can help.

Anoli: And me and Nazeel can have a walk with Sona.

Nazeel: Yay! Can we also play Frisbee with Sona? I brought disc for it.

They both smiled as went to have walk and play.

Lilith: Well, i think i will take Lucifer's offer and have a swim.

And the rest went to change clothes in the car while Chris was preparing campfire. Axel and Jeff looked at each other as sighed deeply while Chris giggled.

Chris: Finally free from your girlfriends?

Jeff: You tell me, not everyday is calm when you date with Queen of Hell herself.

Axel: I don't know if i should conside myself lucky at this point. But yeah, i feel you so much.

Jeff: Trust me, i keep asking myself every day. My name is Jeff, by the way.

Axel: I'm Axel.

Chris: And i'm Chris. Nice to meet ya.

Jeff: Same. I have never thought that i will find someone with the same issue as me.

Axel: Me too, i was so surprised. I mean, what kind of guy would date demon girl, moreover, a succubi?

Chris: Well, guess you two?

They sighed sadly while Chris patted their shoulders and prepared fire.

Axel: True, but don't forget that they're still demons. They can be unpredictable.

Jeff: I still can't forget that tease with tail she used on me. And i was just watching tv.

Jeff: Yeah, and surprisingly, she was in the kitchen. I have never expect such thing from her.

Axel: Has she tried to tie you up to bed?

Jeff: Several times. Well, she didn't do anything that ridiculous, but one part of my body felt super exhausted.

Chris: Oh wow, that's tough.

Axel: I know, right?? However, i once tied her to bed when new game came out. I so wanted to play that i had to trick her and so I got time to play.

Jeff: Oh wow, did she take revenge on it?

Axel: Of course! But at that time, i didn't really care as i had the whole night to play and finish the game.

Jeff: You're risky man. Such trick would not work on Lilith.

Axel: Really? Have you tried?

Jeff: Not if you're working as pizza deliver. Plus, you know she is not like Liya, she is Queen of demons after all. By the way, I guess you're cheff, right, Chris?

Chris: Yep, i'm chef, working at the restaurant. And Axel is a programmer.

Jeff: Oh, awesome. Now i know to whom i can call in case if something is wrong with my computer. The only sad thing is that i live in other town.

Axel: Oh wow, that's cool. I haven't seen newcomers for long time. Well, if what, we can still try to do it online, like, i will advice what to do.

Jeff: That would be great, thanks.

They smiled to each other, feeling a bit relieved as they finally could tell all things that were inside them while they were with their demon girlfriends. Chris smiled too, but remembered about food.

Chris: I will go and see what is need to be fried on campfire and what i can make for salad. You can share your experiences with your girlfriends meanwhile.

Axel: Will do.

And Chris went to car. Meanwhile Jeff kept looking at fire in order to not let it snuff out.

Jeff: And how long have you been with Liya?

Axel: A year, i think. However it seems like we were together from the very beginning. And you?

Jeff: Oh wow, a whole year. You're a man. And me, well, couple of months. But i must agree with you, it definitely seems like forever.

Axel: You still have a long way, buddy. I'm not even sure what other surprises awaits me with such relationship.

When Jeff heard Axel's first sentence, he got uneasy a bit, as he knew that Axel and Chris are not immortal like him and he definitely will have a very long way. He looked down while Axel, noticing such look, sighed and patted his shoulder.

Axel: Hey, don't take it that close to your heart. If she still respects your feelings, that's good sign. Sure, they're still acting as true demons, and yet, they're doing their best.

Jeff: Hehe, thanks, pal. You sound like an old master.

Axel: Well, if i had beard, i probably would look like one of them.

They laughed as Chris came back with food for campfire cooking and two bottles of beer.

Chris: Seems like you enjoy your quite men time.

Jeff: Yeah, it's good to have a little rest.

Chris: From your horny girlfriends?

Axel: You dared to say it.

Chris: That's understandable. Here, have some beer, my treat.

Jeff: Thanks, pal

Axel: What about you?

Chris: I will take later, i still need to cook.

Jeff: Should i bring some pepper or salt?

Chris: Oh right, i forgot about it. Thank you, Jeff.

Jeff: No problem.

And together boys started to cook together while Anoli and Nazeel walked with Sona and Lucifer, Lilith and Liya were having fun in the river.

Camping (part 9)

After lunch our crew was having a little rest. Chris and Anoli decided to swim a bit together while Axel, Liya, Nazeel and Sona had a walk together around the coast. Jeff and Lilith meanwhile were admiring the view of beautiful nature.

Jeff: The nature is beautiful here. In town where i live it's rare you can see such views.

Lilith: Indeed. But you know what is also beautiful?

Jeff: What is it?

Lilith smiled and kissed Jeff, making him blush.

Lilith: You, my love~

He wasn't expecting it as smiled.

Jeff: You're way more beautiful, my Queen~

Lilith: Thank you, love~

Lucifer: Hey, love birds, having fun?~

Jeff and Lilith jumped from surprise as turned around towards Lucifer.

Lilith: Yeah, until you came and ruined such moment.

Lucifer: Hey, i wasn't doing it on purpose~

Jeff: Still, it's not polite to do it.

Lucifer: C'mon, we're demons~ We do whatever we want~

Lilith: And then somebody's ears get hurt everytime they do whatever they want.

After such words Lucifer's expression changed as swallowed hard, remembering those times, and it made Jeff giggle. Meanwhile Anoli and Chris were coming out of water.

Anoli: That was great!

Chris: Yeah, i haven't been swimming like this for a long time.

Jeff: I see you had great time.

Chris: Indeed. And you?

Jeff: Same.

Nazeel: We also had great time!

The crew turned around to see Axel, Liya, Sona and Nazeel coming back from walk with happy faces.

Lilith: Oh, that's wonderful~ Found anything interesting?~

Nazeel: We found a beautiful shell. Look!

He showed a stripped shell as the crew amazed.

Jeff: Wow, it's really amazing!

Nazeel: I know, right? I thought to take it as a memory of our camping.

Lilith: That's sweet~ And how is Sona?

Axel: Very active, we couldn't keep up with him.

Liya: We also played a bit frisbee~

Lucifer: That's great~ So, it's time for campfire now~

Nazeel: Yay!

And together the crew prepared campfire and marshmallows. Meanwhile Anoli and Chris took time to change clothes in tent and then joined the rest of the crew to campfire. Everyone were chatting together, frying some marshmallows and just relaxing while Sona was resting next to Nazeel.

Nazeel: And then Sona tried to catch a fly, but it was too fast.

Anoli: I can imagine he jumped a lot.

Liya: And also tried to steal Axel's part of food~

Axel: How could I know that mine was the tastiest one?

Lilith: Still, i'm glad you had fun~

Chris: Me too.

For couple of minutes the crew was silent, until Liya decided to break the pause.

Liya: Hey, how about to diversify our campfire time with dance?~

Nazeel: With dance?

Liya: Yeah~ To move a bit~

Nazeel: Sounds fun!

Jeff: But we don't have a musical instrument for it.

Lucifer: Who said it?~

He snapped his fingers and a little guitar-looking instrument appeared on his hands. Everyone, except Liya, Anoli and Lilith, got surprised, even Sona woke up.

Chris: What is it?

Axel: Looks like one of old Japanese musical instrument. Shamisen, as i remember.

Lucifer: Well guess, buddy~

Jeff: Didn't know you can play it.

Axel: Yeah, but music from such instrument is....unusual.

Nazeel: C'mon, Axel, give it a chance. Plus, i have never heard a sound of it.

Anoli: Me too.

Lucifer: Thanks, pal~ Now, shall we begin?~

And he started to play the music. For couple of minutes the crew just listened to it, then Liya was the first one who started to dance, moreover, invited Axel to join her. Seeing how they were dancing, the rest of the crew decided to join too. First Jeff and Lilith, then Anoli and Chris with Nazeel.

And together the party started. The music sounded smoothly and our crew was having fun. Even Sona decided to join, trying to "sing", which turned out funny and cute. Everyone danced like it was the last night on Earth, like it was something they would not do again for some time. After couple of minutes, Nazeel took a moment to rest while others kept dancing. It was a great chance of him to take some pictures, which he did. And such fun lasted almost till the next day. The next day also went nice and fun, even tho crew slept a bit more than yesterday. And of course first who woke up was Sona, who needed a walk. Nazeel and Anoli woke up and went for a walk with Sona while others were waking up. Lucifer of course was sleeping outside again.

Axel: Damn, what a night.

Liya: Indeed~ I'm glad we did such idea~

Axel: I wonder what we will do today, as I suppose it's the last day before we arrive back home.

Liya: I think we will start moving this evening, as next day Nazeel will need to go to school and you - to work.

Axel: Yeah, you're right.

As they went out of tent, they noticed Lucifer sleeping and snoring. They looked at each other and smirked, they thought about the same thing. Even tho Axel was nervous, the desire of revenge after horror story was stronger, for Liya it was a desire to prank him. They took a bowl and drew some water from river. When they came closer, they splashed Lucifer's face.

Lucifer: What the-???

He quickly woke up and noticed Liya and Axel laughing together. But their laugh quickly changed into awkwardness and nervous, seeing Lucifer's face. And for couple of minutes the couple was running away from him while Jeff, Lilith and Chris woke up too.

Chris: What is it with Lucifer?

Lilith: Probably our couple decided to prank him a bit~

Jeff: I can imagine his irritation. Hope they will survive.

Chris: Should we help them?

Lilith: Let them handle it by themselves~ Let's look what we can do for today.

Chris: Okay, i will go for Anoli and Nazeel.

And together they began a new day.

And that's the next part of the camping story^^ The last day finally came and it's time for them to spend more time together and come back home^^ Wonder what they will do X)

Winter holidays (part 5)

Several days passed since our crew celebrated Christmas together. Liya and Axel spent those days together, having fun and just enjoying their time. Anoli, Nazeel and Chris spent those days walking, chatting and just relaxing. Good time for Chris and Anoli to learn each other more and be sure in their feelings to each other. Lucifer of course spent those days good, but in his own way. Michael could have some time to rest before New Year.

And finally New Year Day came. Everyone got together again as they talked to each other about their time spending.

Anoli: So you were with Axel all these days?

Liya: Yep, spending time together before a new year comes~

Nazeel: Also walking like we did?

Liya: Yes, dear~ Just like you did together~

Chris (whispering to Anoli): I'm highly doubt about their time spending together. Axel looks a bit tired and....red from blush?

Anoli (whispers to Chris): I know what you're thinking. Well, Liya is like this, i can't change her nature. I just hope that Axel can still find powers to say no sometimes.

Nazeel: Momma, Mr Chris, what are you whispering?

Anoli and Chris: Nothing!

They both smiled as blushed a lot from nervous while Liya smirked and petted Nazeel.

Liya: How about you check how is Sona? Maybe he needs a company?

Nazeel: Oh, right, i need to feed him.

And Nazeel went to check Sona. Suddenly there was a ring from the door and Axel went to open it this time. Behind the door was Lucifer.

Lucifer: Hi, everyone! Sorry for being late a bit, demon traffics and so.

Axel: Demon traffics?

Liya: It's in our language "Needed to deal with little troublemakers"~ And don't worry, Lucifer, you're not late~

Lucifer: Good~

As Lucifer entered, Axel closed the door. Anoli and Chris looked at Lucifer. Chris still felt a bit uneasy after first meeting with him and yet tried to be himself.

Chris: H-Hello, Mr Lucifer.

Lucifer: Just saying my name is enough, buddy~ No need to be official. Don't worry, i will not bite~

Anoli: Oh, hi, Lucifer. Decided to meet New Year with us?

Lucifer: Well, more like to be sure that our little buddy is safe and sound.

Chris: Umm, he is? He is feeding Sona now. Oh, speaking about food, i need to check if it's ready.

Anoli: Okay, Chris, call me if need help.

She and Chris smiled as he went to the kitchen. Lucifer looked around as came to Anoli and whispered.

Lucifer: I just want to be sure that nobody will make a sudden attack on Nazeel. You know that not all angels and demons accept the fact of Nephilim's existence.

Anoli: I know. And it's honestly sad. I wish Michael was here too.

Lucifer: He will be~ Just a bit sneaky for now, if it's okay.

Anoli: Why?

Lucifer: Well, Nazeel doesn't know him in person yet, sooo-

Anoli: Oh, yeah, true, sorry. I will introduce him to Michael later.

She smiled with sweat as heard that Chris was calling her. She asked Lucifer to help Liya and Axel with setting up the table as went to the kitchen. Nazeel was helping too as Sona ate a bit and followed his owner. Everyone was doing their task and soon the table was set. Nazeel decided to change his clothes into his favourite hoodie he got on Christmas.

As everyone took their places, our crew started a celebration, chatting and laughing. Lucifer had a small chance to tell some of the stories from his life in Hell. Chris of course was a bit astonished, but Anoli reasured him that no living creatures got hurt during such stories. Nazeel was enjoying food as noticed how Anoli and Chris got closer to each other, not only like friends, but....soulmates?

After dinner, our crew decided to play a bit some board games before clock strikes twelve. Liya and Lucifer of course tried to cheat as they are demons. Anoli and Chris tried to prevent it as everyone laughed and had fun. Sona joined the fun too as moved figures a lot while Nazeel tried to put them back.

As everyone had fun, Anoli and Chris looked at each other's eyes with blush and then looked away.

They were not sure how to start, what to say and how to react. Moreover, who will start? They couldn't hide their feelings to each other anymore. Since the moment of them meeting each other in real life and not only as a messenger and saved soul, not only as good friends.

Anoli: Chris, i-

Chris: Anoli, i-

They didn't finish the sentence as got silent again and blushed.

Anoli: Ummm, you can start first.

Chris: Oh no, ladies first.

Anoli: Well, i insists, please.

Chris: That's okay, I give you a chance.

They got silent again as looked at each other and then away with blush. For some minutes they didn't say any word while others enjoyed board gaming time. Then, Anoli and Chris looked at each other again with smile.

Anoli and Chris: I...

They knew it was no use to take it long. They turned to each other as held their hands.

Chris: Anoli, i....i need to tell you something. For long time i have never had such amazing friend and supporter like you.

Anoli: And i haven't met such nice and amazing person like you. I know that every person is amazing in their own way. But....you're more incredible.

Chris: So as you, Anoli.

They smiled as kept holding hands. Nazeel meanwhile looked at what Chris and Anoli were doing and asked Liya.

Nazeel: Mommy, what are momma and Mr Chris doing?

Liya looked at Nazeel and then at Anoli and Chris. She smiled.

Liya: This is what we call "confessing feelings" to each other.

Nazeel: Like you did with Mr Axel?

Liya nodded as Nazeel's eyes sparkled. Axel looked at Liya and Nazeel as noticed that they were looking at someone. Lucifer got curious too.

Meanwhile Anoli and Chris didn't notice that they were watching. But did they care? The clock was almost at 12th and they knew that less time left before New Year.

Chris: You know what i will say now.

Anoli: I do. And you know what i will say too.

Chris: Hehe, yeah.

They smiled as looked at each other's eyes and in one breath they said those important three words.

Anoli and Chris: I love you.

As those words were said, everyone got amazed. The clock was almost at 12th as Chris and Anoli got closer to each other.

When the clock stroke 12th, they fell into deep passion kiss. The fireworks sounded outside as everyone started to cheer and were happy for them. Even Axel got surprised from such turn of event.

Axel: "Oh wow, what a man.."

Axel thought to himself as Liya and Nazeel cheered up for Anoli and Chris.

Liya: Congratulations to both of you!~

Nazeel: Yay! Momma and Mr Chris confessed to each other!

Anoli and Chris jumped a bit from surprise as looked at everyone with deep blush. They were not expecting others watching them, but they smiled and laughed. Lucifer smiled too, as noticed that Michael was standing next to him.

Michael (whispers): Got on time?

Lucifer (whispers): Just in time~ Did you prepare fireworks?

Michael (whispers): I asked some nice people to launch fireworks. Hope i don't look too ridiculous wearing the same outfit from Christmas.

Lucifer (whispers): No, that's fine. You did great. And don't worry about outfit, it's better than just appearing all of sudden as stranger.

Michael (whispers): So did you with keeping them safe today. And you're right.

They fist bumbed with smile as Nazeel ran to Chris and Anoli, hugging them and being happy for such news.

Michael (whispers): Well, i better come back to Heaven. Gabriel needs my help.

Lucifer (whispers): Sure, don't worry. Happy New Year~

Michael (whispers): You too.

He smiled as disappeared sneakely. Lucifer looked at our crew who was smiling and cheering for new couple as smiled himself. Axel was still surprised how Chris could be so brave in such thing. He thought to himself that he has to be like this too sometimes, has to be also first to show the appreciation and love, like Liya did to him. He looked at Liya with blush.

Liya: Now that it's official, we need to celebrate it~

Chris: I will have just cola

Anoli: Agree

Nazeel: I will have pineapple juice. I'm so happy for momma and Mr Chris.

Anoli: Me too, dear.

She smiled as petted Nazeel's hair. Axel kept thinking that it's now or never. It was one chance.

Liya: Then, i will go and bring some-

She couldn't finish the sentence as suddenly felt Axel's lips on hers. She got blushed deeply as felt his passion kiss. When he stopped she looked at him confused.

Liya: A-Axel??

Axel: Liya, i can't hold this anymore. Since that day when we became couple, you were always the one who showed feelings to me, who made me feel loved. And i was always afraid to take step first. But I can't keep doing this anymore.

Liya was astonished by his words as everyone were surprised too, even Lucifer almost coughed.

Liya: Axel, you...

Axel: Yes, Liya. I want to show love and support to you too. Even that you're demon, i don't care. For all of my life i have never felt like this before. I was just a boy who was never brave towards others. So, Liya, from this moment, i will always show love and support like you do.

Liya couldn't say any word for a moment. She had never felt such energy from Axel before. Usually men would not be like this towards her as she was a demon, succubus. And now seeing Axel like this. Everyone were also silent, waiting for a moment. Axel was ready to hear everything from her. But Liya only smiled and laughed lightly with blush. Axel was not sure about her reaction as everyone were confused.

Liya: Axel, you're such unpredictable boyfriend~ Why did you wait for special day to say it?~

She hugged his neck as Axel got blushed, but smiled and laughed nervously.

Axel: Sorry, i was just not sure how you would react.

Liya: Silly, i have been waiting when you will take first step~ And i'm so proud of you~

They smiled to each other as Anoli and Chris cheered for them. Nazeel was a bit confused.

Nazeel: Did Mr Axel confess again?

Lucifer: No, buddy. He just finally became a man~

Nazeel: Really?

Lucifer: Yep. He finally took a first step and he became bravier~

Nazeel: Oh, i see. That's so great! Congratulations to Mr Axel! He is the braviest!

He said happily as Axel blushed even more from embarrassement, but smiled. Even Sona barked happily as ran around and everyone laughed.

Lucifer: Well, we forgot another thing to say~

Anoli: Oh, yeah, we totally forgot about it.

Chris: Don't worry, we can still say it now.

Nazeel: Agree! Let's say it together!

Everyone: Happy New Year!

And with such words, our crew continued celebrating the coming of new year happily. Maybe confession doesn't suppose to be on holidays. And yet, holidays make such moments even more majestic and beautiful^^
