Mannnn Batfleck would have acted the heck out of confronting Red Hood / Jason Todd in the dceu. Oh what could have been....
Frowny! How do you they would have introduced B: UtRH plot line in the THEN dceu? Ripple in time from bringing Clark back?
You mean, like, if it had happened after the BVS/JL storylines? That's an interesting question, since Snyder was imagining Dick Grayson instead of Jason Todd as the dead Robin. I guess it depends on the role of the League of Assassins in the DCEU. We don't get a ton of hints about that, if at all. I could see Dick being brought back somehow alongside Slade, who I know was supposed to play a bigger role in the scrapped Batfleck movie.
I think if it had happened before BVS, that would be an interesting way to do it. Because the dead Robin (whoever he is) needs to come back and be even harsher than Batman post-Robin, who as we know from BVS is pretty damn harsh.

Of the original five X-Men, I'm probably most similar to Beast and Cyclops. But since I tend to write so much, let's just focus on Cyclops for now. Cyclops really is just me as a student (I may be generalizing, but it's mostly true). I've always been cripplingly shy and antisocial at school (or around anyone that isn't my dad), and I naturally gravitate towards liking the teachers. I tend to treat school like a place of learning, and not a place for socializing or goofing off. That's just not who I am, I guess (even now I have this problem, but I might be working on the crippling antisocial stuff. Idk).
Anyways, I haven't read the original X-Men stories in a while, but I'm pretty sure Scott embodied a lot of those same traits. He was the team's leader (or field leader if we're counting Professor X) and he was very much considered a stick in the mud, I think. He was closer to the professor than some of the others, and stuff. It's pretty relatable (if I'm remembering it all right, of course). So yeah, I'd say I'm pretty similar to Scott.

Hypothetical scenario: someone is on Ao3, looking for fanfiction to read. This person only speaks/reads English, and they set the language filter to only show fics written in English.

It's like we all collectively forgot as a society that friendship and just connection in general takes effort. Even if you meet someone you immediately click with, it takes hanging out about 20 times (!) to become friends. And guess what, some of those 20 meetings might be awkward or unimpressive.
We all want to reap the benefits (having a friend circle, having a partner, getting married) without doing the work (going to events, interacting with people, learning to handle conflict maturely, dating). Myself included. If I could, I'd never leave the house or go on another mediocre date again... except, that's part of the process.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, the cure to the loneliness epidemic is touching some grass and building tolerance for tedious in-person interactions.

Leo skeletal anatomy! Click for better quality :)
The way most turtles actually fit into their shells is because their arms and legs are shaped to fit into the loose skin around the openings for their limbs, but on account of their human proportions, I just suspend my disbelief as to how mutant turtles could fit in their shells without the odd configuration to their organs that real turtles have. Real turtles have flat lungs that sit widely along their carapace, which is weird but cool. Turtles shed their scutes (the large flat scales on their shells and plastron) about once a year or if the scutes are damaged. The scutes have barely any skin between them and the bone, which is why turtle skeletons usually have the scutes on still, though they can pop off. The rest of the skin sheds regularly though, instead of in large patches.
For the brothersā€™, their respiration is much more human than turtle. Therefore, their lungs need to expand and contract with their diaphragm rather than just with their movement, so therefore they must have some flexibility to their chest. Some turtles, like box turtles, already have hinged plastrons, and softshell shells are mostly cartilage, so itā€™s not too far off to assume that thereā€™s a bit of cartilage just to the upper plastral bones of the hard shelled brothers to give their humanoid lungs room to breathe.
Poor Leo. After the movie, one could assume heā€™s got a couple broken bones. It kind of made me morbidly curious as to how to describe injuries on a character whose skeletal structure is quite different from a humanā€™s for my own writing!
Feel free to use as reference or disregard, these are just my own little speculations :)
