Hello everyone, I'm back!!!😁

Although I planned to take a little break after finishing UTNL, I never meant to take an entire year off 😫. I could ramble forever about all the reasons, but it basically boils down to needing to work through my personal issues with perfectionism and self-doubt, wanting to read more and improve my writing skills, and then just good-old-fashioned writer’s block. Even though I still wrote throughout the year, I was in that annoying headspace where I pretty much hated everything I wrote and just didn't feel good about it, so I decided to wait for inspiration to return naturally.

And now I'm finally here to share the story that I've been teasing for over a year! I meant to post this on New Year's Eve, but of course wasn't ready in time so here we are 😂

Summary:  Set in the Under the Northern Lights universe (contains spoilers for the final chapters).

Inuyasha is having a rough night.

After missing Kagome for a whole week, he finally welcomes her home from a work assignment, discovering in the process that she smells even better than usual. A lot better. Strangely erotic in nature, her intoxicating scent takes over until it’s all he can think about. But thanks to a delayed flight and pre-made plans, he soon finds himself at Yugen’s New Year’s Eve party, rather than inside his wife. To make matters worse, Kagome seems hell-bent on torturing him, flaunting her body and teasing him until he can barely stand it. At least he’s prepared to give it right back to her, leaving them both anxious to get home.

When Inuyasha is confessing to Kagome while she's asleep (Ch 78), these are a couple nuances in the Japanese text that made me squeeaal...

What he thinks when she falls on him. He's gently surprised: かごめ ... そばにいてくれるんだな。 "Kagome... you're beside me, huh."

He's exhaling (in surprise) in that panel. So the nuance is like, "Oh? Kagome... she's next to me, huh..." which kinda just sounds like an observation BUT!!! He uses くれる (kureru), a loaded word that implies it’s something he appreciates or cherishes. Sorta like, "Wowza I am the receiver of this beautiful action..." like that. LOL 🥺 ugh... my feelings..

His tone in his confession is very soft. なんか ... おまえと一緒にいると、ホッとするってゆーか... "Somehow... when I am with you, I feel at ease — something like that..."

(Btw, "relieved" is a fine translation, but ホッとする can also mean "to be at ease" depending on context, which could be how he feels.) I see translations not including that last bit because it's not literally what he says... but that's the nuance. I dunno if I can explain it well but it's sooo soft. He's trailing off all shy and stuff 🥺

てゆーか just means ていうか, which is what you use when u want to say "this is the impression," or when u want to explain something (better). In this context, it also sounds sort of meek and shy... it's so NOT like him, his speech was usually so harsh and macho, like "yagaru" central 🤣 In other words, he's really choosing to be vulnerable right now. ISSA BIG DILL

In English, this scene is already so sweet. In Japanese, there's this extra layer of vulnerability to hiM IT MAKES ME WANT TO COMBUST AND LEAVE THIS EARTH BEHIND!!!!!

Antis really think an unrealistic age gap is a problem in a FANTASY or SUPERNATURAL setting? Especially in the Bl3ach universe, where there's already a canon couple with that trope? Doesn't it sound silly?

They act as if Mortal X Immortal ships don't exist, as if they aren't a popular trope/dynamic in many forms of media. They call IR problematic because of it, but turn around & ship pairings like Yato & Hiyori (Noragami), Inuyasha & Kagome, Tomoe & Nanami (Kamisama Kiss), etc. Yet, they cross the line at IR?

They conveniently forget or ignore the fact Ichigo is a product of Isshin & Masaki, a canon couple that the antis support & like to use as "parallels" with their mid ship (even though those of us who can read know IM parallels IR). Isshin was probably way older than Masaki, older than Rukia even, yet once again, the antis cross the line at IR?

Hypocrisy, much? They only bring up the age gap when it's convenient for them. When they want to grasp at straws to invalidate IR. But all their arguments have a counter-argument to them 🤷‍♀️. IR is just that powerful 😌.

Ichigo & Rukia vibed so well right off the bat, getting on a first name basis early on, & often seemed to share the same brain cell 🤣.

Souls in Soul Society age much slower & differently than living humans. Rukia was the equivalent of Ichigo's age, so she was "15" in SS terms when they first met. Antis like to act as if she's some ancient hag or s*x goddess who's going to corrupt poor innocent Ichigo, yet Rukia showed to be quite innocent in many matters, not to mention, she thought kisses were only for greetings in one of the early chapters 💀. Out of the two, I'm pretty sure Ichigo would know more than her in these matters...

(I've also seen this stupid argument against HitsuKarin. They be calling Hitsugaya an "old man"!! Like, seriously?! How is he gonna "corrupt" Karin—by giving her a large stack of paperwork?! He's about 10-11 years old in SS terms, the equivalent of Karin's age, who was 11!! Then they both conveniently aged up to 12-13 after the 17-month timeskip... Just what was Kub0 getting at?!🤦‍♀️)

Not to mention, Ichigo felt very at home in Soul Society & got along so well with all the "ancient geezers & hags" there, even going as far as calling some of them by first name & hanging out with them like old buds (such as Renji). No wonder Ichigo didn't feel like he belonged in the Living World much; he really was born in the wrong generation (or world), lol... 🤪 He always showed to be more in touch with his shinigami side... (no wonder he chose that out of all his hybrid sides in TYBW, & yet... 😮‍💨)

Anyway, don't engage with the antis. Ignore/block/mute them. Follow the age-old fandom rule: just ship & let ship. Don't let the antis ruin your fun. There's so much IR content out there 😄.

Front Piece Chapter 17 Sneak Peek

Kagome stepped into the elevator in the underground parking garage of Inuyasha’s building, checking herself over in the mirror during the ride and making sure her cleavage teased at just enough skin to make her boyfriend drool. Adjusting her overnight bag over her shoulder more securely, she exited the elevator and rang his doorbell.

When he didn’t answer right away, Kagome frowned, wondering if she had arrived too early, but her watch told her she was only two minutes early. Before she had a chance to ring again, the door opened to reveal a sharply-dressed, black-haired man.

“Oh, I’m sorry, I must be in the wrong apartment,” she excused herself, checking the apartment number and frowning when she realized it was the correct one, she meant to turn and head downstairs to ask the receptionist but a gentle hand on her arm stopped her.

“Kagome, it’s me.”

Even if the voice sounded slightly softer than usual, it was unmistakably Inuyasha’s.

“Inuyasha?” she couldn’t help asking as she observed the handsome human man before her. Now that she mentally changed his hair and eye colors and added cute dog ears atop his head, she had no doubt this man was her boyfriend. “What happened??”

Inuyasha stepped aside to let her in, and Kagome didn’t miss the very pleasant fragrance that wafted to her nostrils. Dear god, he smelled so, so good, and she couldn’t help pressing her nose against his neck when he hugged her in greeting.

“I fucking forgot tonight was my human night,” Inuyasha explained against her ear, making her almost delirious. He paused, then added, “Hope it’s okay.”

Kagome noticed the hint of insecurity in his voice and hugged him tighter. “It’s more than okay,” she whispered before pulling him down for a heated kiss. She couldn’t help biting her lip when they pulled away and Inuyasha looked completely dazed. “For the record, it’s completely unfair for one single person to have such a monopoly on sexiness in two different forms.”

He blushed at her compliment, looking down self-consciously. His current green-brown eyes seemed more vulnerable than usual and his black hair accentuated his sharp jawline. Kagome’s gaze trailed down, internally groaning in thirst at the two opened buttons of his burgundy shirt. That color fit him like a glove and matched perfectly with the black dress slacks he wore.

Kagome wanted to unwrap him like the exquisite gift he was.

She took a deep breath to try and calm her racing heart. “Wow. It’s like I have two hot boyfriends all in one,” she commented, giggling at her own silliness. “I have two different Inuyashas! Too bad I cannot have them both at once…”

Yup, his perfume and his handsomeness were messing with her brain.

Happy Halloween! I had a wild thought and decided to see if I could dress up the few households I've made in the Sims this year. I didn't want to mess up the individual households, so I saved them to the gallery and started a new save so I could put them all in one household. Because I thought it'd be easier to control all eight than travel with one set, then invite the others to the amusement park I built.

Don't do that to yourself if you're only used to keeping watch over 1-2 sims, especially if you leave autonomy on. Under the cut are some notes and more pics when I sent them to the amusement park.

In the first 10 minutes of dumping them all in one house, we had MF!Hanyou Inuyasha and Kagome "woohooing (a butt pat at best) in the kitchen, pissing Youkai Inuyasha off because she was "cheating" on him. (Thanks to MCCC I fixed that because that didn't happen before Lovestruck changed stuff) but this also trapped everyone in the dining room cause no one would walk through there.

Other things you might find funny:

Everyone likes to gather in the bathroom for some reason, and it's always when someone needs to pee.

MW!Inuyasha does not give a shit and will walk through the house naked. Does a full house tour then gets embarrassed. SIR -

They were fascinated with the flat screen tv but continued to watch terrible movies...?

Because I used the WW mod to help adjust poses since I'm still not used to dropping the teleporter object in the right place, I didn't think to disable some...features. The shower has been a favored place for them to go. Again, whenever someone has to pee. I even put in a second bathroom but it wasn't good enough.

Turns out the ones that have hats with their costumes like to keep their hat on at this time. Clicking stop action is not nearly as satisfying as it would be to turn a hose on these sims.

MW!Inuyasha's costume is cut so high that I needed to disable another feature that I originally thought was an odd shadow. Nearly choked on my cough drop when I realized the shrubs needed to be ripped out.

No one wanted to actually sleep in a bed. Everyone took turns napping on the couch. I'm glad I didn't go heavy on decorating this house. Ungrateful shits.

At the amusement park lot I made in Windenburg, there's 5 functional rides, a haunted house, go cart course, ferris wheel, some carnival games, and food. Enough to keep sims busy and boy did it...

Gotta appreciate how they picked which cart they got in on their own. Don't remember who won though, I was chasing down another sim.

And these two idiots 🤣 That's the face of a man who's sitting next to a demon dressed as an angel and realized he could be manifesting disaster.

This haunted coaster was in a basement level of the lot. No joke this was Kagome's face the entire time.

They really liked playing the games and emptying the households funds. Lost track of a sim? Probably throwing darts.

But there's also the haunted house, and if the sim wasn't playing games, they were probably going through the haunted house. Youkai Inuyasha wet himself twice but kept going back.

Sims can also get a scared moodlet (quite a few of them did, like MW!Kagome). MW!Inuyasha was just trying to get a piece of pizza when Kagome runs up to him and just screams. He screams back. 5 minutes later they were making out on the ferris wheel, so I guess she got over it.

I had to pose them in groups outside the haunted house entrance in sets because of clipping issues, but still they are some doozies.

Finally, one bonus image that I happened to get when I was posing them for the big group picture. I had all of them go sit on a hay bale, pose them, then used WW to move them around.

This dumbass decided to do his idle animation right as he sat down. If you don't know what I'm talking about, mermaids and mermen in Sulani will randomly make dolphin sounds. It's as funny as you think it is, because you don't expect it when it happens.

Custom content creators and modders deserve all the love for what they can do, hands down. I am also so sorry for the cursed creations, if any of those creators see this lol

So here's the problem...

I want to read, but I don't feel like reading any of my fall backs, and nothing is popping out to me.

There us one story I remember reading once. There was some exhibitionism going on in it, but it was a decent story. Really spicy lol 🔥.

There's one scene where Sesshomaru... does... Kagome on a balcony in front of a crowd of people. Another time a council member walks in on them doing the deed & they just keep going while Sesshomaru tears him a new one. I also believe in the same story they get it on 3x in their travels each time either naraku koga or inuyasha see them & Sesshomaru knows it.

No idea the name of this story...

Another one I read is kind of messed up but interesting... Kagome accidentally seals Sesshomaru & when she releases him she's flooded with his (extremely) trumatic childhood memories. His dad basically trades him as a means to stop a war.

Or...

I kind of want to read something long. I'm not in the mood for grape-y turned love atm.

Maybe a slow burn? Friends to lovers? Traveling with Sesshoumaru? Funny or Akward Sesshomaru? Even modern day post Canon would be nice. (As mentioned, Fallen Angel is one of my all time favorites.) Heck, even a drabble series...

Does anyone have any recommendations??? After the week I've had, I just want to get lost in a good sesskag story for a bit on my day off before I have to adult again. 🙃

Her questions came too slowly for his liking and groaned, long and low, no realizing that he was holding up the operation with his dramatics.

“You said we could make cookies in the morning.” If she had any plans of objecting he pointed adamantly at the clock. 12:01 am. “It’s morning.”

She decided to spare herself the agony of forcing him into bed for a few more hours.

Besides, it was practically Christmas. She’d impose bedtimes and boundaries another night.

I think the reason I've always shipped Kagome with Koga instead of Inuyasha is because I could not fucking STAND Inuyasha's ignorant emotionally stunted ass, even as a kid 🤣

If you like her, why the fuck do you keep starting fights?! I've always hated that trope in TV and the real-life stereotype. The guy likes the girl but instead of telling her that, he does everything in his power to make her hate him.

So when Koga showed up and immediately started treating Kagome like the Goddess she is, I was like THIS IS IT, THIS THE ONE!! But nooooo I guess Kagome enjoys constantly second-guessing herself and wondering if Inuyasha wants her around 😒

Hi ❤️ Thanks for asking ~ I answered both of these in the previous ask, but, as usual, I have a lot to say, so I shall do it again ;-)

🍓 - aside from the Inuyasha blog and the tales I used to tell my siblings, I think my first legitimate fanfiction that I knew was *fanfiction*, you know, happened with Harry Potter - as many before me and many after me, and the first fandoms I wrote for and published on Fanfiction.net were Yu-Gi-Oh and Naruto - I really wanted to add to these universes, to share different 'what ifs' with the characters I loved. And now I am mostly writing aus, that figures 🤣

❄️ - My Fan Wei/Mu Ge wish is one thing, and I also have a long list of "things my friends are writing and I really wanna see", but there is, as usual, more. I really like humour too, not only angst, and I think writing a good comedy is harder than writing a story relying on sadness and compassion, on a purely technical level, so another thing I would love to see is more good, funny crack.

Especially when dealing with untilisation of Shen Wei's creepy factor. I see a lot of stories with people loving him, crushing on him, admiring him and all that, but I would love to see the opposite - SW creeping people out for seemingly *no reason*. Like, sure, he is a good professor, very good manners, polite and calm, but he sometimes gets this look in his eye... The vibes are off, your honour. Basically: SW as the adult equivalent of The Omen Child, from the outsiders POV. Who would I like to see write it? Well, aside from the designated friend that I asked to, everyone who is interested in it? I believe in poking a bit of fun at characters we love, and SW deserves some shaming for his Stalkery Intense Ways 😁❤️
