five pebbles’ dialogues

these started as just the one sketch— five pebbles calling artificer “little creature”. of course i got carried away (i’ve put them in the order they were drawn) and the pieces got more complicated as they went on. im very sorry for not including gourmand but pebbles doesn’t really say anything different or particularly nice to them and also i physically cannot draw any more rn. i’ll draw them tomorrow or next week depending on my availability.

also, since this started as a doodle, i used a random palette for the first one, and then just kept using them for the rest. the base palettes were from coolors dot com, but i tampered with some of them for contrast’s sake, so here are the finished ones:

Like many other members of Gourmand's colony, Monk has fluff, dark splotches, and white markings. Plus he has sparkles thanks to distant nightcat ancestry (the sparkles can persist for generations)! The heterochromia matches both Survivor and Saint too :]

The whole karma flower thing is bc this fluffy boy is Attuned!! He doesn't have flowers as a pup because he's not connected to the cycle yet at that age (by the time Monk's campaign starts, he's old enough to respawn after death and all that)

like I said, this au is cantered around three sets of siblings.

first, we have Saint and Inv. They aren’t biologically related, but they were both made by the same Iterator, which is close enough.

Monk and Survivor are Gourmand’s two kids in this au, and are the only semi normal people in this group.

Hunter and Artificer are twin messengers made by NSH, and are biologically related to each other.
