i feel like this will be quite niche, mostly because i'm not sure how many ordem fans are in my sphere but also because it's not about the main cast lol
but below the cut is an osnf fic \o/! many spoilers for that season. it's based on a canon divergent au me and @factorialsotherfandoms came up with and this one in particular involves the helper and the gatekeeper!
also below the cut for anyone who hasn't seen ordem but is curious about the fic is a brief summary of some world-building elements that will help with understanding the fic \o/ but not the plot because that will take too long lol
reblogs appreciated \o/!! hope you guys enjoy
brief worldbuilding stuff: the helper and the gatekeeper are from a town called santo berço which was a seemingly perfect town apart from the fact that the people are brainwashed to some degree into wanting to stay there and there's a parasite (the saint/a god) feeding on some of them. everyone in the town uses their work titles as their names, and they have an alien-ish appearance (Luzidio) but can switch into a human appearance (Ignaro) at will. the crystals mentioned are healing crystals that have the ability to knock people out if ingested. i can't explain buttery butter. blame felps for this creation
--
The Helper stands in front of the mirror, his Ignaro form staring back. Technically he doesn’t need to be in it right now, but he’ll need to get used to it eventually, so… he’s practicing.
The eyes are maybe the strangest bit about it. They feel smaller. The familiar blackness now shrunk down and encased by other colours—brown and white.
He leans closer to the mirror and pokes at his cheek where his markings would be. Maybe if he looks close enough he’ll still be able to see the faint shadow of them—
“Why are you acting like it’s new?” The Gatekeeper says. “You’ve seen this form before.”
The Helper jumps at the sudden appearance of his voice, and spins around to face him. He doesn’t like having people behind him anymore—an alien distrust crawling through his body at even the thought of it.
“I know, I’m just… getting used to it. You know?” He shrugs, and tries to force himself to relax. “I never used to use it much before, but now it’s going to be pretty much constant, right?”
“That’s true.”
Cautiously, the Gatekeeper drifts closer. They don’t have the crystals anymore, and he’s not holding a weapon so it should be fine.
Really, he wishes his brain would stop thinking so hard about it. He’s one of the few people who actually managed to survive and that was because of the Gatekeeper.
It’s just…
It’s hard to put the memory out of his mind of the Gatekeeper approaching him with a knife and wrestling crystals into his mouth.
“It is strange.” The Gatekeeper admits with a small smile as he stops close in front of him. “I only ever saw you like this when we were messing around.”
“And you went on lots of Pilgrimages, right?” The Helper says, knocking their shoulders together gently with a smile that doesn’t quite feel real crossing his face. He doesn’t like it, but no attempts at widening the smile make it feel realer. “So you’re probably dealing fine, huh?”
“Eh…” The Gatekeeper shrugs. “With this, yeah.”
He’s in his Luzidio form now. It’s nice. A tiny bit of familiarity to cling onto.
“What if we lose it?” The Gatekeeper continues, something nervous seeping into his tone.
“What?” The Helper tilts his head, eyebrows furrowing. “What do you mean?”
“This form.” He points to himself. “We only had this because of the Saint’s influence. What if we lose it now?”
“Well, we—“ He cuts himself off as the full implications hit him, a hollow feeling settling into his chest. It’s uncomfortable. He never used to feel this way in Santo Berço, but now it’s almost all he can feel. “We—We get used to it, I guess.”
The Gatekeeper reaches a hand up—slowly, but the Helper can’t help but flinch away a little. All he does, though, is settle it onto his cheek. Doesn’t try to pry his mouth open. Doesn’t try to force the anaesthesia down his throat.
“You should, uh…” The Gatekeeper shifts his thumb to line up with where the Helper’s markings would be. Presses down firmly, but not enough to hurt. “You should get them tattooed.”
“Okay.” This smile feels a little more real. “Would you?”
“Ah, maybe.” He shrugs. “I’m still not… sure how I feel about, uh, all of it.”
“I like them.” The Helper brings a finger up to trace down one before letting it drop to his side again. “I’d miss them.”
“O-Okay.” The Gatekeeper looks away, his cheeks darkening. “Maybe for you, then.”
The Helper frowns. He misses Santo Berço. Misses the simplicity of it. Everything out here just feels like a mess—the selfish desire to keep at least one thing the same, versus the guilt of forcing the Gatekeeper to do something he doesn’t particularly want to do.
“Only if it’s for you, too.” He tries another smile. “From what you’ve said, it sounds like it’s about time you do things for yourself, hm?”
The Gatekeeper is still cupping his cheek, so he can feel the moment his hands start shaking. He wonders if they shook when he spilled his blood to fake his death.
“I…” His voice cracks. He drops his hand from the Helper’s face so he can wrap him in a tight hug instead. “I’m so glad you’re here. My god, I’m so glad you’re here, Helper, I… I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.”
The Helper hugs him back.
“It’s okay. Everything’s okay now.”
For a while they stand there. The Gatekeeper isn’t quite crying, but he is trembling in the Helper’s arms—murmuring things that he can’t make out, but are probably apologies.
When he pulls away he doesn’t go far. And he’s still trembling a little—his eyes shiny with unshed tears—but he seems more put together than he was a moment ago.
“I’ll—I’ll figure out how to make buttery butter, okay?” The Gatekeeper promises.
“Oh, how cool!” For the first time since they got here, a spark of excitement ignites in him. “We can all experiment together! I’m sure we’ll get it right eventually, you know?”
“Hopefully.” The Gatekeeper sends him a watery smile. “I just—I know how much you like it. You did always say it was the best part of Santo Berço.”
That was when he still had Santo Berço. When he didn’t have to miss it. But the sentiment is sweet, and he is clawing for any scrap of familiarity.
For the Collector and the Nurse it isn’t so bad, he thinks. As much as they might miss it, they know what it’s like to live without it. All they’ll need is a readjustment period.
The Gatekeeper is in his boat, but it’s different. He’s always hated Santo Berço—apparently. And he’s probably been on enough Pilgrimages to understand how the world outside is.
“Thank you.” It’s worth being optimistic, though. “I think between the four of us we’ll get close!”
“We will.” The Gatekeeper declares—an intensity to him that the situation doesn’t really require. “I promise.”
They should maybe talk about that. The devotion he feels for them.
The Helper knows the Nurse doesn’t like it. He’s aware of her wariness every time the Gatekeeper is around. But they all saw the fates of the people still connected to the Saint, and the Helper finds it difficult to hate his friend for his original plan.
He doesn’t want to open up the discussion and find out she has a reason to still be worried, though. It’s a strange enough thing to know your friend would kill you to prevent your suffering. To not be able to shake the fear that came with the certainty you were about to die by his hands.
He doesn’t want it to be made worse. He’s lost too much to lose the Gatekeeper now.
“Come on.” The Helper says, nudging the Gatekeeper into action. “The Nurse said you should be resting, and you know she knows what she’s talking about.”
“If you could say that with less infatuation in your voice I’d be more inclined to believe you, you know?” The Gatekeeper says teasingly. “But you’re right—she’s right—I am tired. Maybe you could carry me?”
The Gatekeeper had collapsed when the Saint was killed. Dropped like a stone before any of them could catch him. It wasn’t as worrying as bursting into flames, but it was still terrifying.
The Helper had carried him to safety. Held on tightly to him—almost afraid he’d disappear in front of him, just like his dad had.
“Yeah, okay.”
And then he scoops him up.
It’s as easy to carry him as last time, but this time feels nicer. Less terrifying. Instead of being limp and unconscious in his arms, the Gatekeeper clings back to him immediately—his eyes widening in shock.
The Helper laughs. The Gatekeeper clearly wasn’t expecting the request to be taken seriously, but he doesn’t complain or ask to be put down and it’s—it’s nice.
It’s a short walk to the spare room, but the Gatekeeper is already dozing off. He lays him down in bed gently, but the Gatekeeper grabs his arm before he can leave.
“Wait, can you—can you stay?” He asks, his voice shaky with something the Helper would label as fear. “Please? Just until I fall asleep.”
“Okay.”
He was going to wait up until the Nurse got back from her shift, but that won’t be for a few more hours.
So, he gets into bed, but doesn’t lay down—unwilling to tempt sleep. Just sits there and lets the Gatekeeper curl up against him. It’s a bit of a tight fit, but he doesn’t mind. The closeness is nice, actually.
“Goodnight.” He cards a hand through the Gatekeeper’s hair. Like this, it’s hard to imagine he could be capable of murder. “Sleep well.”
“Thank you. Goodnight.”
The Gatekeeper falls asleep quickly, but the Helper doesn’t leave yet. It’s peaceful. And it wouldn’t hurt to keep an eye on the Gatekeeper’s health.
The Nurse had said he’ll probably need more time to recover than them, but she had also asked the Helper to tell her if he seemed to be getting worse.
He was his dad’s assistant before the Blacksmith’s, after all. And while he definitely doesn’t have the knack for it that the Nurse does, he thinks he could at least figure out if she needs to reassess his condition.
But the Gatekeeper seems fine for now, and he has a couple of hours to kill. So, he grabs the book on the bedside table that the Gatekeeper’s been reading through and starts reading it himself.

hope you guys enjoyed \o/!! i'm happy to talk more about the au's details if anyone's curious

Azure Gleam - Special Chapters
Spoilers for the special chapters below.
SHEZ VS BYLETH
I didn't get the special chapter for SB or GW. SB, I just straight up did not care. GW, I tried, but it involved an "escort Claude" part and he just sat there and didn't move forward, and I didn't care enough to bother with the chapter a second time.
Shez sounds like Arval. Did Arval take Shez over? I'm guessing to go after Sothis?
Oh, cut scene! Shez vs Byleth again.
Byleth holding his own against Arval!Shez. Good to see. Shez is trying to hold Arval back though.
So . . . if we kick out Arval out in these chapters, does Shez loose their abilities/special class, because no :(((((
Felix, Dedue, and Dimitri are worrying about Shez and Byleth (also, awesome to see all my favs). Rodrigue has news about what happened.
Scouts report that Byleth and Shez are fighting. Felix accuses that Dimitri suspected this.
Dimitri tells how Shez worried that TWSITD would take over her. And Dimitri's promise to kill Shez to stop her from killing others.
Oh, we cut straight to the battle and have to defeat Shez. Makes sense. I'm guessing do it before Byleth dies?
My Shez is, eh, a bit stronger than Byleth, so I'm a bit worried. But Dimitri's such an overkill at this point, he's just going to blaze through this chapter like he did the last one.
It's weird not having Shez among my playable characters. I'm using Jeralt instead of Shez for my missing 8th person because he's the highest level (and I can't use Byleth either so).
Edelgard is around somewhere? Claude showed up to hunt her down.
My Byleth is like 10 levels below Shez. It's not going well.
Atrocity is one hell of a drug. Took Shez out.
Defeating Solon feels good. Got a cut scene too. He just ran away though. Wait, Arval/Shez killed Solon? Ohhh, like Solon killed Kyrona. A sacrifice is needed to open Zaharas. Karma I guess.
Claude and Dimitri talking is kinda cool. And weird Edelgard showed up. It's so amusing to me that they wrote themselves into such a corner with Edelgard they just yeeted her brain lamo.
ZAHRAS
Arval is talking to Arval.
Dark Arval created Normal Arval because Dark Arval wanted typical TWSITD nonsense, domination, restore the world to TWSITD, etc . . .
And in the most shocking twist, Normal Arval is programmed to kill Sothis, so therefore Byleth, and while Arval took over Shez.
Oh, Shez woke up! And Claude's there with Dimitri.
So they all got sent to this Zahras place.
Shez doesn't have a lot of memory of what just happened, and tells Claude and Dimitri about Arval, who's gone though.
Now they have to find a way out of this mess.
Dimitri found Edelgard. Since there's like 4 people, no one plans on fighting each other until they get out. Then it's time to kill people.
So Edelgard doesn't remember what happened and got some spell cast on her by TWSITD.
Claude cheerily tells her what a fuck up her country is lamo.
There's this mini map with the 3 lords just standing there, chilling, in this dark abyss place. It's pretty funny looking.
All my other units are gone, but I expected that. Dimitri's my most overpowered unit anyways.
DIMITRI & CLAUDE
Is this like some kind of support?
So AG Claude wants to get rid of the central church and kill Rhea. Like, I'm down for removing any sort of political power from a religious institution, but this fixation on Rhea is weird.
Lamo, is this game serious? Did it really just blame nobility and arrange marriage on Rhea?? OMG.
I knew Claude went completely dodo bird in this game, but he somehow became even more of an idiot?
I'm kind of impressed lol.
He drank the Edelgard koolaide.
Dimitri's like, well, as long as you just dislike the church and not Faerghus.
It's interesting for Dimitri to acknowledge that his personal beliefs and his beliefs as a king are sometimes at war.
He also lays out why Claude's plan is an awful idea. Meaning, all the death and suffering he'll cause.
It's just a classic, Claude is too rash - Dimitri is too cautious.
Claude tells Dimitri that he's too good for him. And that they could've been friends if kingly stuff didn't get in the way.
It's overall a fine support, except this absurd idea that the church is solely responsible for stuff human nature always comes up with, and I think it's more a symptom of a huge flaw in the Fodlan games as a whole than anything else.
DIMITRI & EDELGARD
Dimitri finds it hard to talk to Edelgard because of all the people she's caused the death of. But way more polite.
Edelgard doesn't feel that way. Which, not surprised. She doesn't really care too much about the people who've died like he does.
Lamo, she also is way less polite and is like "you don't want to talk to the tyrant who's gotten everyone killed." See, though, it's acknowledgements like this that make me like this game more. She knows that's what she looks like to everyone not in Adrestia.
Dimitri gets annoyed with her for placing words in his mouth. And good for him. That's always annoying.
Edelgard is less confident than Dimitri that he has no regrets of his actions and carefully considered all of them.
Oh, good, Dimitri asks about Patricia. But Edelgard doesn't know what happened either. So, still no answers about her.
Dimitri wants to just end the conversation. I am loving how much he really doesn't want to talk to her. It's so different from Claude who he was curious about.
She falls down because dark magic place does it's thing, then helps her stand up, and they get a picture, which is cool.
It reminds her of when she fell once and took the help without thinking about it. Now she thinks about it.
Dimitri remembers helping a girl up.
I see where this is going, but it's funny such a mundane thing will trigger important memories, lamo.
Edelgard is like, yeah, knowing you, you probably helped a lot of people get up who fell down.
I'm living for these supports acknowledging that Dimitri's a way better person than the other two lol.
He's like, naw, it was you. Edelgard keeps insisting it wasn't her.
He calls her El at the end.
Is this the same support in SB? It works for AG, but man, this asshole just killed Sylvain (and Annette, and Gilbert, and Ingrid, and Rodrigue, and tons of other people from Faerghus simply bc she wants that land back), so I'd be furious seeing it there.
In AG, though, it makes sense.
BACK TO THE CHAPTER
Dimitri's the only one who asks about Shez's wellbeing. Does their dialogue change in different routes?
Oh, cool, I had some access to stuff like the blacksmith, which makes no sense, but ok.
Bad Arval showed up behind Shez, but she alludes it.
Arval says none can escape. But I doubt it.
Dimitri's like, that's bullshit, bc there's no way they'd build this without a way out, and if they can get out, so can we.
And then Dimitri's proved right when Arval says he'll leave, alone.
Ok, I learned this other Arval's name, but I am not going to spell all of that.
So like, after this, do they all just go back to war? Because if they do . . . lol.
They let you use all the 3 lords, but I'll probably only use Shez and Dimitri. Neither Edelgard nor Claude impressed me much when I started this game (and at the time I started, I liked Claude a lot more than I do now).
Oh, so a dark Hubert, Hilda, and Felix showed up. A bit sad it wasn't Dedue, though. I feel like he deserved to be the BL rep even if Felix is more popular. But maybe it was for variety? Like Dedue is another axe like Hilda, but then switch Claude's people out.
At the same time, Felix makes sense, esp in Hopes. He and Dimitri are practically married lol.
Dimitri's like, that's not Felix. He wouldn't get mad at me for doing this and not avenging people. He's not wrong.
Ohhh, not they're fighting phantom versions of themselves.
They had some throwaway lines explaining why Edelgard is normal now.
Lamo, Edelgard doesn't trust herself.
Meanwhile . . . Dimitri . . . is like, really excited about this. Because he gets to kill a version of himself. :((((
Claude's line wasn't as interesting as the other two. I know. Shocking. /s
Dimitri wants to thank Arval for letting him fight and kill himself. I cannot with this man.
Evil Claude just about totaled regular Claude. Edelgard isn't scratched though.
Edelgard and Claude were way more normal about reactions to fighting themselves lol.
I had to make Claude an adjunct. He was nearly dead. It's actually surprising how much worse he is than Edelgard. (Dimitri's not fair to rate against them since he's more built out and not dropped into this map for a one-time battle).
Ok, he summoned more dudes to protect him, and one was a Shez copy the other Dedue. So Dedue got credit too. So now I'm less conflicted about Felix making an appearance.
Shez is upset at fighting herself.
Dimitri feels awful about fighting the shades this time. He's only motivated by all the people he's kept alive in real life.
I defeated Epimedes. That seemed too easy.
Cut scene fight between Shez and Epi. It's pretty badass looking in the dark magic place with falling rocks everywhere. Like, in a cheesy but just roll with it way.
Shez wins. Arval pops back up and they almost hold hands. Arval's never felt more alone :( Honestly, kinda sad things end badly for them. So not recruiting Byleth gives Arval a better ending? Will Arval not be there in the final map before the final battle?
They escaped!
Dimitri's like "it felt like a strange fever dream" and honestly, not a bad way to describe it.
They lost Edelgard and are we back to the normal stuff? Oh, no Shez asks to go back to the search for her and the others. Claude wants to get back to his people too.
Ok, so moving onto the final chapter now.

Dear PTJ, please develope your female characters
Someone complaining abt the way PTJ writes his female characters (truly, a never seen before concept); 1st Afilliate Arc and Cheongliang Arc spoilers (at this point, I think most people are up to date w/ the story, but I'm still gonna put this warning just in case)
Look, I don't take Lookism super seriously. In fact, I think I never did that, mainly thanks to the outlandish concepts it had since the beginning. I'm just here to have fun at this point, and to finally learn the truth about Daniel's 2nd body (omg, it's been 400+ chapters-).
I definitely wasn't expecting to find super well written female characters (even though I definitely should, it's 2024, for God's sake-), something a good number of fighting-related webtoons seem to struggle with. But damn, does Lookism waste its female characters in a way not many have done before.
Since the focus of the story has shifted primarly towards fighting and taking down the Four Crews and Charles Choi, I'm gonna focus on two of the characters most connected to these aspects: Mary Kim and Crystal Choi (ik Lua and Sally are also connected in this way, but I don't really have a lot to say about them and, besides, they've already been covered by another user here on Tumblr)
Mary Kim
The perfect opportunity to get her more involved came up not so long ago, in the ep just before the Allied vs 1st Afilliate fight properly started. We see Mary's reaction upon hearing Vin Jin tell her that Taejin Cheon is alive; we can see her anger asclear as day both in her expression and her words. She literally expresses how much she wants to kill this guy.
And yet, PTJ doesn't make her go and get her revenge. Instead, we have Vin Jin basically saying that he will do it for her because 'his hands are already dirty" (i heavily paraphrased his words, but you get it), which to me, at least, doesn't make sense.
Time and time again we see how close the two of them are in spite of the many jabs they throw at each other. Even without knowing the details of their shared past in Cheongliang (which comes up a couple episodes later), it's very strange that she would let Vin jin go to face him just like that.
By this point, it's already stablished that he murdered somebody, an act that even if deserved by the deceased person, takes a mental toll on the one who does it. Taking this into account, I don't see why Mary would just let who's basically her best friend go through the same thing again, alone. And I especially don't see why she would obey him and stay behind. Her, Mary, the person who never takes Vin Jin's bullshit and always calls him out.
Why not have them both go together? It would be a great opportunity to 1) deal with the last negative reminder of their past, and gain a little bit of closure once and for all, and 2) have Mary finally fight seriously and be able to demonstrate why she's called 'The Empress of Two Seconds' and why she's considered so strong.
We've only seen her take down minor opponents a very, very small number of times, all of which are altercations that don't ever last too long (i guess this last thing is to back up her nickname but, eh)
TLDR: Let Mary dirty her hands as much as Vin. Let them take down together one of the people who has brought them so much pain as the pair of strong besties they are. Stop telling us how strong she is and actually commit to showing it.
__
Crystal Choi
Oh boy, this character-
Like, you mean to tell me that the sole offspring/child of the Big Bad Guy tm the protagonist and his friends are meant to take down, who also happens to be friends with said protagonist, doesn't play a major role on the story? Absolutely insane
And that isn't even taking into account that she also has 2 bodies, which is something only one other character (Daniel, the PROTAGONIST), has and is a major plot point
I'd like to see her be more aware of her privilege as a rich person. Yeah, she was relentlesstly bullied and undermined for her appeareance (which is a horrible thing for anybody to go through) but at least she wasn't poor, too. Does she actually use her money or her status as the daughter of one of the richest men in Korea to change things or solve problems?
Jay literally bought an ambulance of the same type used by the 1st Afilliate so that Allied could sneak in, so why can't Crystal do something similar to help them, too? She helped them during the Gambling Arc by bringing Kouji
I'd like to see her realize and come to terms with the fact that her father's a horrible person. I don't think she knows everything that's going on behind closed doors, but she's definitely smart enough to have noticed that there's something shady going on with his bussiness.
Let her discover the truth. Let her pick either her father's or Daniel's side (the latter which I believe is the most plausible, since she doesn't seem the type to excuse murder, extorsion, etc.). She could act as an informant, helping Allied from the inside.
Heck, you could have her fight, too, if you wanted to. She trained with Gun, after all. And yeah, maybe she's not as strong as the other characters, but we know that she can hold her own against most people. We've seen it.
TLDR: how the hell do you set up a character with so much potential and don't do anything with it. Also, think abt the angst potential!
________________________________________________
Final thoughts, I guess:
I think that Crystal siding with Allied has a higher chance of happening than PTJ letting Mary fight. There's still a good chunk of the story yet to be told, so anything could happen.
I'm actually considering believing that the reason we rarely see the female characters is that they, also, are working secretly to take down the Four Crews and it's gonna get revealed in the last arc for the sake of my sanity

i extracted files and searched for Minthara's name, some snippets (I sadly cant see who says them AND its really hard to tell one line from another) and it shows the romance is either bugged or they cut it out of the game
its all jumbled up, so theres 100 % more i cant find, but it doesnt mention her name. i did not add lines i personally encountered in game
SPOILERS
pregnancy
So, Minthara has one in the proverbial oven?
I hope we're not finished with our current labours before Minthara drops her egg. War is the perfect nursery for a child.
Minthara with child… Somehow I can't picture her sitting around the campfire, knitting baby booties…
Minthara's pregnant. A new life, a little one, sprung from all this fuckin' chaos.
companions about/to minthara (GUESSED BY ME!! IT DOESNT SAY WHO!!)
It's funny seeing you so smitten, Minthara. Didn't think you were able.
How curious - I've only ever known Minthara to moan with pleasure when somebody's losing a limb.
So, you and Minthara, is it? I suppose that little spark we shared has been snuffed out then. I don't blame you though - she is a… compelling prospect.
And you're carousing with Minthara.
Not interested in Minthara's leftovers, I'm afraid.
Any doubts about falling for a foe, Minthara? Or does that just add spice to things?
Minthara's something of a closed book, but I suspect a heart of gold lurks beneath that stern countenance.
So. You and Minthara. Wow. Impressive.
I bet Minthara is fun.
To choose Minthara over, well, anyone… It's certainly a brave decision. One might hazard to say reckless. Stupid. Fatal…
I hope you and Minthara are very happy together. Or miserable. Whatever she prefers.
Right. Well, far be it for me to stand in the way of true love. Or anything else Minthara wants, for that matter.
What about Minthara? Weren't you guys in some kind of horrific power play masquerading as romance?
Hey, so, what's romance like in the Underdark, Minthara?
And you favour Minthara, no less. I thought you valued yourself. Minthara certainly doesn't.
pc to/about minthara (GUESSED BY ME!! IT DOESNT SAY WHO!!)
Amorous passions usually make people more considerate, Minthara. Kinder. Sympathetic. Better at cooperating.
Even my people know the value of a carefully crafted coalition, Minthara. Is our own alliance not a case in point?
Who do you love, Minthara?
I'm yours, Minthara.
I've decided to pursue a relationship with Minthara. I thought you should know.
You've judged my affections wrongly - I am much closer to Minthara!
It was only sex, Minthara. Do you have to be so dramatic?
I'll do it. Just please - don't hurt Minthara.
Yes. I'm yours, Minthara.
She comes in here, into our camp, and lays hands on my Minthara?!
We'll find your family, Minthara. And slaughter them. Would you enjoy that?
You think I'm beautiful? Oh, Minthara.
narrator (GUESSED BY ME!! IT DOESNT SAY WHO!!)
You slept with the drow Minthara. You pleased her.
The guard is happy to let you pass - Minthara is rather less happy about your choice of words.
You slip into Minthara's mind while all her attention is focused on saving her own skin. You can feel her guilt everywhere, writhing and churning. All it takes is one little push…
idk
Who knows how long the real Minthara has been strapped to Orin's altar? We owe it to her to bring her back safely. She would do no less for you or I.
You're that True Soul that's been chumming around with Minthara, aren't you?
Care to share any of Minthara's weaknesses? Or would it take too long to go through them all?
And Minthara is - eh. A friend of yours, I am sure.
Distract her with thoughts of your night with Minthara.
Orin, masquerading as Minthara… That certainly explains her vociferous antipathy towards me.
And what more beautiful terror can there be than that wrought by Minthara and her love?
Why so surprised? Minthara murdered her way out of the womb.
I'm glad to know you have a softer side, Minthara. I was beginning to think you rather heartless.
Minthara Baenre. It is fair to say her intimacy is not easily won. Nevertheless, I did. Tried. (ORIN??)
My good friend Minthara is the funniest person I know.
Orin thinks Minthara's abduction is an ultimatum to kill Gortash.
status
Partnered with Minthara
Orin abducted Minthara. She told us that she'll release her if we kill Gortash.
Minthara is in Orin's clutches.
searching for "baenre"
It is true. Surface food lacks flavour. House Baenre banquets were legendary.

The Long Wait Chapter 16
Movie Night’s and Walks Through the Garden
Fandom: Grimm
Pairing: Sean Renard/OFC
The Long Wait Masterlist
A/N: Since I had this chapter ready to go, I decided to upload it straight after Chapter 16. A night in with Katie, a day out with Sean, and Lorelei receives her first kiss.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After Spring Break, Lorelei got back into her usual routine: classes, studying, work, Fridays hanging out with either Monroe, Rosalee, or both, and Sundays with Nick and Juliette. She also spent more time with Katie, even having the opportunity to meet some of her friends, two of whom were her cousins. They were all eisbibers, having grown up together. They were naturally wary at first, considering the history of Grimms, however they started to warm up to her. Lorelei enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with people her own age. Lorelei also spent time looking into places to live and determining if living alone was something she could afford. Lorelei wasn’t sure she could live with roommates. The only people she had lived with were Nick and Aunt Marie. And, after living on her own for a few months, she realised how much she enjoyed the solitude.
One Friday, instead of meeting up with Monroe, Lorelei met up with Katie. They planned to get takeout and hang out at Lorelei’s as Katie had roommates. It was nearing the time that Katie was supposed to arrive. Lorelei was flitting around her room making sure it was clean and there were no embarrassing items on display. She also kept checking her appearance in the mirror. She had opted for a pair of leggings and a long shirt. Her hair was half up, half down and she had put a little make up on. Not too much. She didn’t want to look like she was trying too hard. Lorelei was just fluffing up the cushions on the sofa for the fifth time when she heard a knock on the door.
“Katie, hey.” Lorelei said, her voice a little breathy.
Katie had a huge smile on her face. “Hey.” She said.
Lorelei stepped aside to let her in. “How was work?” she asked, closing the door behind her.
Katie shrugged. “Eh, not too bad.” She replied, removing her light jacket. “Although I did have at least two people ask for their coffee to be made with half full cream, half skinny. Like, pick one for Christ’s sake.”
Lorelei laughed. “I remember getting those type of people.”
“That’s right, you worked in a café during undergrad right?”
Lorelei nodded. “Yep. I did my time in customer service. Thankfully I don’t have to deal with the public as much anymore.”
“I can’t wait for the day I can put customer service behind me.” Katie said, moving to sit on the sofa. “Don’t get me wrong, you meet some great people. But some people….” She shook her head and Lorelei laughed again.
“Yeah, I know what you mean.” Lorelei said, joining her on the sofa. “So, what did you feel like for dinner?”
Tumblr media
The couple settled on pizza, just so they wouldn’t have to go out. While they waited, they discussed what to watch on TV. “Have you seen The Walking Dead?” Katie asked.
“I think I’ve seen bits and pieces. It looks really good though.” Lorelei replied.
Katie bent down and started riffling through her bag. “I just got the first season on DVD.” She said, holding it up. “Wanna binge watch it?”
They had been about to start the first episode when their pizza arrived. Once they set up their dinner, they sat back to watch the pilot episode. “It does take a little while to get into it, but it is worth it.” Katie told Lorelei, before taking a bite of pizza.
“I’ll take your word for it. But no spoilers.”
“Cross my heart.”
As the evening progressed, Lorelei and Katie both shifted, slowly getting closer and closer to one another. At one point, Katie slung her arm on the back of the sofa, her hand lightly resting on Lorelei’s shoulder. Lorelei tried to stay focused on the TV, but she kept getting distracted as Katie started playing with her hair. The couple hadn’t kissed yet and Lorelei was wondering if it would happen tonight. She was nervous. She had never kissed anyone before. Would they kiss? What if she was bad? Would they do more than kiss?
“Are you alright?” Katie whispered in her ear, her closeness and breath sending a shiver down Lorelei’s back.
“Yeah, I’m good.” Lorelei whispered back, trying to get rid of her nervousness. She turned her attention back to the TV and tried to focus on it.
Eventually the finished the first season. Katie turned to Lorelei. “So, what’d you think?”
“I really liked it. I can’t wait to see the second season.” Lorelei admitted.
Katie smiled. “I think the second season should be out on DVD soon. When it is, we can do another binge sesh.”
Lorelei returned her smile. “I look forward to it.”
They stared at each other in silence, Lorelei becoming aware of just how close Katie was. Katie brought her hand up and brushed a strand of Lorelei’s hair, tucking it behind her ear. “I’d like to kiss you.” She whispered.
Lorelei bit her lip. “I might not be very good. I’ve never kissed anyone before.” She admitted, feeling a little embarrassed.
Katie smiled. “I’m sure you’ll be fine.” She told Lorelei. And then she leaned in, gently brushing her lips across Lorelei’s.
Lorelei let out a small gasp as their lips met. Katie’s lips were soft and gentle, as was the kiss. After a moment, Lorelei started kissing her back, her hand coming up to rest on Katie’s cheek.  They both pulled back and Katie smiled at Lorelei. “See, not so bad.”
Lorelei gave a small chuckle, before she leaned in to kiss Katie again. This time the kiss was a little harder and lasted longer, as Katie gently pushed Lorelei down, so she was laying on her back. The couple continued making out for some time, before returning to their seated position. The TV was changed, and they cuddled up together, watching the late-night movie that was on. Eventually they both drifted off to sleep, still wrapped in each other’s arms.
Tumblr media
It was still early when Lorelei woke up, wrapped in Katie’s arms. At some point they had shifted, Katie was laying back on the sofa with Lorelei on top of her. Lorelei sat up slightly, looking at Katie. She looked so peaceful. Lorelei glanced at the clock above her desk, and saw it was close to 8am. Sean would be arriving soon. Lorelei slowly got up, trying to avoid waking Katie. Moving to the kitchenette, she filled up the kettle and turned it on before heading to the bathroom. By the time she was finished, Katie was awake, sitting up on the sofa rubbing her eyes.
“Morning.” Lorelei said, pulling two mugs down from their shelf. “Coffee?”
Katie stretched. “Morning. And yes please. I can’t believe we fell asleep.” She got up and walked over the Lorelei, wrapping her arms around Lorelei’s waist and resting her chin on Lorelei’s shoulder.
Lorelei smiled. “How do you take your non-espresso coffee?” she asked, reaching for the jar of coffee.
“Mm, white with four sugars.” She replied, stepping away from Lorelei and leaning against the counter beside her, watching as Lorelei made their coffee. “It was nice not being woke up by my roommates. They can be pretty loud in the morning.”
“Perks of a single room.” Lorelei said with a smile. “Do you mind grabbing the milk please?”
Katie moved to the fridge. “What are you up to today? You mentioned something about a friend.” She handed the milk to Lorelei.
“Yeah, my friend Sean and I are going to the Japanese Gardens.” Lorelei told her as she finished up their coffee and handed a mug to Katie.
Katie held her mug and took a sip. “Mmm, coffee.” She said, her eyes closed as she savoured the caffeinated beverage. “The gardens are nice. I’ve been a few times. You are gonna love it.”
“I’ve been looking forward to it. How about you? Any plans?”
Katie shook her head. “I’m just going to relax at home. I might stop in and see my parents later this afternoon.”
Lorelei went to sit on the sofa, holding her coffee. “Have you told them you’re dating a big bad Grimm?”
Katie laughed. “Not yet. I’m planning to do it this afternoon. But be prepared, once they find out I am dating someone you will be expected to come over for dinner.”
Lorelei smiled. “Meeting the parents. I look forward to it.”
After their coffee, Lorelei went to the bathroom for a quick shower, while Katie offered to tidy up their mess from the night before. Lorelei had just finished getting ready when a knock came from the door. Katie opened the door as Lorelei came to stand behind her.
“Hi, you must be Sean.” Katie said, smiling up at him.
“Ah yes. And you are?” he asked, glancing toward Lorelei. She shifted, feeling a little uncomfortable having both her love interests in the same room.
“Oh, I’m Katie. And I was just leaving.” She said before turning to Lorelei. “Have fun. I’ll talk to you later.”
Katie gave Lorelei a quick kiss on the cheek before slipping past Sean out the door. Lorelei felt her cheeks start to warm up and she rested her hand on the cheek Katie had kissed. She was surprised to be so affected, especially since they had spent last night making out. And had fallen asleep together.
“Lorelei?”
Lorelei shook her head slightly “Hey Sean. Sorry, I’m ready to go.” She quickly grabbed her jacket and bag, closing the door behind her as she exited her room.
“New friend?” Sean asked.
Lorelei smiled, as they made their way out of the building. “Ah, kind of.” She said, not sure what she should tell him. Although she was now pretty certain Sean didn’t have any romantic interest in her, she was still unsure if she wanted to burst their little bubble. Furthermore, she was unsure of Sean’s stance on same-sex relationships. She saw Sean raise an eyebrow. Clearly, he picked up on something. “Um…we’re kinda more than friends. It’s all very new.” She laughed awkwardly.
“I didn’t realise you swung that way.” He stated plainly, giving no indication of what he thought.
Lorelei shrugged. “I swing every way. What’s in someone’s pants doesn’t affect whether I am attracted to them.”
They reached the car and Sean opened the door, allowing Lorelei to slide in before moving to get in on his own side.
“So, how did you meet Katie?” he asked.
As they left the college, Sean asked some more questions about Katie. It seemed like he was trying to play it cool, but something seemed off. He couldn’t be jealous, could he? No, definitely not. He was probably just being overprotective.  By the time they reached the gardens, the conversation had shifted. As usual, Sean opened the door for Lorelei. However, he surprised her when he offered his arm to her. That was new. She slid her hand into the crook of his elbow, realising this was the closest she had ever been to him. That jolt of electricity she felt whenever they made contact was still there. Lorelei tried to ignore it. The pair purchased their tickets and began to explore the gardens. Halfway through the day, they stopped in at the onsite café, where Sean asked her how the apartment hunting was going.
“I’ve been keeping an eye out, but it is expensive especially if I want to live alone.” Lorelei told him.
“You aren’t interested in roommates.” Sean enquired.
Lorelei shook her head. “Not really. I’ve never really had to share my space with anyone besides Nick and Aunt Marie. Nick left for college and as I got older, Aunt Marie was always out of the house. Plus, I’ve already gotten used to living alone and it’s only been a few months.” Sean nodded. “Nick has offered his and Juliette’s spare room, but I feel like I would be going backwards if I took up his offer.” Lorelei said. “Plus, I don’t really want to live with my brother and his girlfriend. Who knows what I might hear.”
She shuddered and Sean laughed. “Yes, I suppose there are some things you do not want to hear family members do.” He commented and Lorelei laughed as well. Sean was such a serious person, it was nice seeing him laugh and smile. He looked even more handsome when he did so.
“Definitely not.”
“Besides, I still have another month or so before I really need to start considering it. If push comes to shove, I can stay in the dorms.” Lorelei admitted, even though she didn’t really want to. Even though she had a fair bit of freedom, being a grad student, the dorms did still have a lot of rules.
Tumblr media
After the café, Sean and Lorelei spent some more time touring the gardens, arm in arm, conversing as they did so. Lorelei felt so comfortable with Sean. They always had something to talk about, which was a surprise considering their age difference.
Eventually their time together came to an end. Sean drove Lorelei home and walked her to her door. Lorelei was incredibly surprised when, as they were saying their goodbyes, Sean bent down and kissed her cheek. It was soft and gentle. He seemed to linger for a moment before pulling away. Lorelei felt her cheeks warm up. She glanced up to see Sean staring at her intently.
“Have a good night, Lorelei.” He said softly.
“Goodnight Sean.” She answered.
Sean left and Lorelei brought her hand up to her cheek. It was like she could still feel his lips there. After a moment, she realised she had been standing in front of her door for longer than necessary. She quickly entered her room and flopped down on the sofa.
Damn it. Just when she had convinced herself Sean’s feelings were platonic, he went and did that. Spending the day with Lorelei on his arm. Now Lorelei was questioning things again. She found herself comparing the kiss she had received from Sean to the one from Katie. Although she had felt a little flustered by Katie’s, it was nothing compared to how she felt from Sean’s.
‘You have a girlfriend.’ She scolded herself. At least, she thought she did. Katie was already talking about introducing Lorelei to her parents. That was the kind of thing you did with a girlfriend, right?
Lorelei groaned and sunk further into the sofa. Why couldn’t things be simple?

Eyyyy Spoilers for 'Moon Says GOODBYE in VRCHAT'
Trigger Warnings Below Cut for: Cursing
(This is a bit old at this point, but eh. Curse of loving a show that airs daily, yeah?)
Also, beep beep, ty to everyone for your nice comments and stuff in the tags, I see them and I appreciate them. I love that everyone loves this show. It's fun to do these little deep dive reaction posts. :)
RIGHT OFF THE BAT WE START OFF WITH SUN INSISTING MOON DOES NOT HAVE TO LEAVE
MOON INSISTING HE DOES
SUN RE-INSISITING HE DOES NOT
This was kind of what I was talking about in the last post. Sun does not have the confidence to ask for what he NEEDS. He knows what he needs. He needs Moon to STAY right now. He's pulling every excuse out in the book. He's trying to frame it as 'Maybe Moon doesn't really want to go.' which isn't going to work because yes Moon does. He's trying to frame it as 'Maybe Eclipse isn't really a problem' which isn't true. He's talking about the length of time. Framing it as being "A month of not being in your life."
Sun kind of DOES touch on the issue, mentioning that he'll be alone, which had to be INCREDIBLY difficult, just that one word, you know? Because even one word opens up the possibility of the question 'Are you okay?' and then the horses are out, you know?
He's desperate at this point to get Moon to stay here, dropping every explanation he can to try and convince Moon to stay but the only thing that's going to get Moon to stay is him saying, 'Moon I Need You To Stay Right Now'
Which SUUUUUUCKS
At this point I don't think Moon COULD put off going and getting the stuff for the satellite. He's right too. They don't know what Eclipse is up too and his disappearance is MUCH more concerning than if he was around being a nuisance. They also probably run the risk of being found out if they wait too long. They also now have Jigsaw locked up in the arcade (which, aren't there like, customers? How... why... there's... anyways)
But I'm sure if Sun SAID something, Moon would take a moment and re think it, maybe try and plan a way, bring him with or set up a method of communication. Time dilation or otherwise.
It does sounds a little bit like Moon is using this as a break which is something I did touch upon before, that Moon and Earth can't be constantly holding Sun up or they're going to get exhausted themselves. Something that may inadvertently affect Sun if they take said exhaustion out on him. Which happened last episode so that's a very likely possibility.
I am glad he's taking a break. They need it. This is just really BAD timing. It's nobody's fault. It just sucks.
"Gregory is a kid" OnLy WHen It'S coNveNieNT
"That the computer doesn't have ANY input on." "Damn it."
Lol
"Maybe FLUFFY dinosaurs?" That's not any better! Lol
There was a very fun, long ass section here about Moon and Sun that devolved into several pages of discussion melding and expanding upon stuff people have said to me and stuff I’ve said already.
Uh.
So I took it out. I’m hammering away at it slowly for it’s own post. Ppppphhhbt.
Ah 4-5 days NOT 45 days. I was confused at first I thought Moon's VA was taking a month off not a week.
Nope. Never mind. Moon hasn't changed at all. Still a dick. Reset didn't change anything. /j
He's such a gremlin. It would be funnier if Sun didn't sound on the verge of crying.
"I'm about to beat you to death with this thing. I'm actually happy you're leaving now." Lol. Siblings.
Cool. That's good. So Sun will still be able to contact Moon if he needs.
"Shall I read you your last rights?" "I hate you." Ahhh, AI1. ALWAYS a pleasure.
"He'll be fine for a week." Are you sure? Again. He's just... sitting in a public space in a giant arcade room in a pizzaplex made to entertain families. I think, if he were to threaten to tear a child's limbs out slowly, there'd be problems.
Good Eclipse! Good to see him!
Damn Eclipse, you keep ur daycare like this? Barrels all over the place? Clean up not a thing in this dimension? (lol)
I never actually watched the episodes with the british gator. Is this Lord Monty?
Oh no he's as bad
Oh no
Oh NO
Folks I have found a character on the Sun and Moon show I dislike
WHAt is He SAYING?
I HATE HIM
IM CRYING LAUGHING I DISLIKE HIM SO MUUUCH
Eclipses IMMEDIATE regret at the accent My brother in SaMs YOU DO THE GATORS VOICE
I love this it's so funny im crying

My AIB S2 Review
okay everyone, i had to take some time to write this out because it was only getting longer and longer the more i watched s2.
now, i did read the manga before s2 came out so i already knew what was going to happen, so naturally, this will contain major manga spoilers!!! i do love this show and manga very much it is my number 1 manga but i thought a review could be enlightening to some.
i will be going in episode order to make it easier
episode 1:
i thought episode 1 was pretty good actually. the first scene being the same scene from season 1 was a good touch to remember how arisu was before being sent to borderland and getting a small refresher. the king of spades intro was good, it was dramatic for the first person dying and i thought the actors did great on the whole car chase scene as well. also ann was amazing for driving i love her. i don't really have a lot to talk about this episode to be honest but i think the intro for king of clubs was great. though, i wish niragi was a little more fucked up looking? he looks pretty bad in the manga when they first meet him at the venue for king of clubs but dori does an amazing job portraying niragi. i also enjoyed the cast's reaction to kyuma being naked because i would react the same too.
episode 2:
starting the king of clubs. to be honest, i think it was both good and bad they took 2 1/2 eps to do the king of clubs. good for people who are willing to understand the opposing team more and feel more emotion, bad for people who just want the game to be fun and see people die. i do wish yamashita would've had more...expressions? kyuma is often seen smiling in the manga and while yes, i think he was still portrayed more, a smile or two might've been nice. i think king of clubs personally was the best adapted game in season 2 excluding the queen of hearts. i really liked the band members on kyuma's side too they were all really cool.
episode 3:
episode 3 i really enjoyed. i liked the flashback for tatta being foreshadowing to what will happen to him in the king of clubs game. as always, i really liked kento's acting when tatta died. also, i enjoyed the parallels to season 1 ep 3 when karube and chota died. i think kento did an amazing job for expressing his sadness even if arisu didn't know tatta for that long, he was still a friend, and naturally, people would cry with situations like this. i really liked kyuma's last words as well to arisu. very motivating. also his death was cool.
second half of episode 3. the jack of hearts. when i first saw the images/trailer with chishiya in the jack of hearts, i was worried they would ruin the whole aspect of the game. and while really, chishiya didn't change anything about the game, they did take out some parts from the manga that i'm disappointed didn't make the cut. for example, enji being a hypnotist and hypnotizing kotoko into everything she does and believing he won because of him thinking he was superior to the players. i think hayato did a great job as banda, he definitely gave off a good creepiness to the character that you're supposed to feel even as a viewer just by the way he stares. again, chishiya being there was weird. urumi was also portrayed amazingly i really loved her more even if she was only in one ep she was great.
episode 4:
i don't have a lot to talk about this ep really. the end of jack of hearts was...eh. to be honest, removing enji's whole inner dialogue with himself and removing the fake eye aspect were the things that made me wish were included because it could've been so much better. chishiya...was good i guess. i mean, he's not a hearts player, he's a diamonds player, so why would he join the jack of hearts? i don't fucking know. it felt like he was almost given plot armor from the writers and just made him have a "feeling" enji was the jack. also, the snacks bags communication was stupid in my opinion. it would've been much better if they kept him being a hypnotist instead. other than that, i think it was done pretty good. the second half of ep 4 was good too even if there was only a little bit of action with the king of spades. though it's weird to me what things the makers of the show chose to take from the manga and what not to, but i'll discuss more of that later. i did however, think it was funny how arisu ran into aguni and heiya. i really believed we would get doudou (manga only character) and it worried me about the dynamics that would be created and change by adding arisu into the mix instead of doudou. and i was right to be worried.
episode 5:
alright, ep 5. so, heiya is my favorite character in this series. reading the manga i was so excited to see if they would include her and when i saw the first picture of her in the adaptation i was so happy. what made me even happier was seeing the seven of spades aka her first game. reading it hit like a truck, but it was so good. that's how it felt watching it too. i'm glad we got at least one scene of her before being sent to borderland and her mentioning her mother. while it wasn't told in the adaptation, heiya just appears to have some issues with her mom. well, the manga definitely puts more thought into heiya's character as a whole just by her first appearance in the side chapter 37.1. it's shown that she has quite the broken family. with her father constantly at work, her mother would bring back affairs to the house and tell heiya to not tell her father which started the hate against her mother. the adaptation just didn't even bother with that i guess. we were lucky enough to even see the seven of spades honestly.
now, as i said, heiya is my favorite character. but i believe they just didn't get her right. i love every bit of yuri's performance as heiya and she did phenomenal, but i personally think they could've done more to show her character more. i do like that they kept her "everything i do is for the future" talk so at least they got that right. to me, i see heiya and aguni as a father-daughter duo, especially in the show. in the manga with doudou included in the trio and not arisu, he even says they are like a family. but we got basically none of that. i'll say it, arisu shouldn't have been included in the trio. i think it would've been better if they had even just brought a brand new character to join heiya and aguni instead of dragging a main character into the games where they aren't supposed to be. much like with chishiya in the jack of hearts. the side characters deserve their spotlight, and i think the show was too determined to make sure that they had at least one main character in every game for season 2. i didn't like that. sure, arisu gave some comedic relief in the ep but...yeah.
queen of spades was pretty cool. for it getting a lot of screen time without it being in the manga was interesting seeing as many of the others were just clips from them. the game is basically advanced tag with taking turns involved. the set was really cool though and it was awesome how they were moving around to get to others faster. usagi's speech was a little too long but it got the job done like always so i can't complain when she does great at everything. the queen was good, too.
episode 6:
second half of queen of spades. i thought the fight between usagi and lisa was amazing and fun knowing both actresses did the stunts themselves making it appear more real when they get hit. the kid was there for what seemed like no reason though but i understand why lisa chose him as their teams king since he was just a kid and couldn't do anything, it was a smart move on her behalf that very easily could've made her win if not for usagi. overall, i thought it wasn't too bad for a show only game.
onto the king of diamonds. when i saw kuzuryu in the trailer at the venue for king of diamonds with his pose, i was so happy knowing they would do it. while i don't understand the rules pretty much at all because i suck at anything math related, it was very interesting. i'm glad they did it but upset by what they did with chishiya and his backstory. in the manga, he's not even a full doctor, he's still a med student. the show practically changed his entire backstory for ultimately no reason at all. we didn't get to see him as a child who was neglected all his life which resulted in him becoming the way he is, and we didn't see how he actually was in the manga. they basically dumbed him down to just some sarcastic "unbothered" character when he's far from it. nijiro did amazing as chishiya i really love him and how he did portray him even if it wasn't the same as he is in the manga. i am surprised that they did show a flashback for kuzuryu to understand his thoughts better and why he made his game fair. overall, i really liked king of diamonds and am so glad they decided to keep it in.
episode 7:
this episode was...definitely something. the first half battle royale between niragi, arisu, and chishiya was good, not as great as it could've been along the lines of dialogue, but still good. i didn't think they would keep this honestly. but i was so happy that they did. while chishiya's words weren't the same and didn't have as much impact as the manga in my opinion, i believed it was still pretty damn good. this is also me just being grateful it made it to the final cut.
king of spades. now, i cannot express how unbelievably irritated i was at this whole thing. for one, they basically erased all of shirabi's (the king) thoughts and feelings on how he believed he was giving the players mercy by killing them. we barely got the flashback of him killing his fellow solider and i was annoyed they just made him out to be the bad guy who just liked killing others.
as for the rest of the ep, i was extremely disappointed. i thought that maybe because they would change the king of spades maybe they could have it equal the manga in terms of how the group would defeat him, but no. there was no tracker shirabi had that heiya shot and broke. there was no shirabi burning down the forest and causing the others to venture back into tokyo. it was just so different that it made me hate the king of spades game as a whole for the show. i love love the king of spades in the manga because the trio of doudou, heiya, and aguni were able to do it alone by themselves. but apparently in the show even all of them couldn't defeat him nor could a fucking bomb. they basically just obliterated half of the cast for no good reason except to fuck with people and that alone was irritating. i didn't think they could fuck up the king of spades so bad and then they did.
for personal reasons, i will pretend ep 7 doesn't exist.
episode 8:
everything i hoped for. this was the best ep in my opinion. mira crying was especially interesting to see after usagi and arisu's little moment with one another. people said this ep dragged on and was boring but i thought it was excellent. riisa did a great job at being mira and i just fell in love with the character even more after watching this. i liked that they showed the meteorite hitting them and that they stuck with the manga ending. but, the joker card. personally, i would be perfectly happy with the series ending where it's supposed to. but if they do a s3 of sorts i will probably still tune in. i understand why they did that instead of showing the joker like the manga, but i would rather it just ending. but, a little disappointing they didn't show arisu drinking the tea beforehand and that's why he's believing what mira was saying because i really enjoy the panels where she talks about the tea being a hallucinogenic and causing him to freak out. but, i can't complain too much.
overall:
i thought s2 was still amazing even if there were some downs that i didn't like, i still love this show and manga to death. i was happy with it as a whole product and thought it was still brilliant and i am so glad to have seen this become a adaption and have so many people watching it when it went viral on twitter in multiple countries, the hours viewed are amazingly high compared to last season, and just the general reaction to it. i'm very thankful for the actors who were able to participate in this show and the director. it was truly amazing and i will most definitely continue rewatching over and over again.

Sooo I think I'm starting to get fond of Emilio 😳👉👈 Do you have any facts about him?
Apart from what's written on yumekuro's official website? Not much. A member of Chevalier Guild widely known as the Sun Knight, Emilio seems to desire a place to belong (居場所). Somewhere he could be himself, perhaps.
Last year, yumekuro offical twitter account posted a series of images in which the meisters are interviewed with a particular question. The question for Chevalier guild is 'What kind of change* do you think will occur in you if you get married?'.
Emilio's reply: "A new, important place to belong, huh... It will be a great change for sure. I'll have to give it my all.
*心境 = a change of mind/heart/mental state
⚠ Spoiler-y area below the cut ⚠
Sometimes mischievous, Emilio is a possessive individual and is aware of it himself. He has a dark persona he does not try to hide, shown in his moon awakening routes. On the less fun side of the fact, it is noted that while they may not exactly be on a bad term, Cyrus and Emilio don't have the best kind of relationship. It is later revealed in the [Make A Wish on A holy Night] event that Emilio doesn't actually have blood ties to his family members. Cyrus, however, isn't aware of this fact. Emilio asks Emma to keep it a secret as he divulges the information to her.
Fuzz once calls Emilio irritating/eyesore in his Beginning of A Bond card story. Both Emilio and Fuzz gives an impression that they don't like the other very much there, but in the end is able to get along (not more than necessary), a cat-and-dog-like relationship.
⚠ Rough translation on his remarks of other people ⚠
CYRUS
Being twins doesn't mean you're together all the time. There's a lot of things I don't know too, you know.
Cyrus is good at identifying the enemy's attack, parrying and counterattacking them. It's a different fighting style than mine.
I always take his presence as something natural. He's someone I've been with for as long as I can remember...
It's rare for us to be doing the same mission. Other than training and whatnot, we barely see each other recently.
We haven't spent a time together this long ever since we joined Chevalier... maybe this is even the first time.
It's not only because we have nothing particular to talk about... But since we're male siblings, I guess that's just how it is.
ROUGE
He really likes alcohol, doesn't he. My tolerance isn't as high, so it's too bad I can't keep him company.
Because he's a wandering poet, he's naturally good at singing. You can't help but listen to his singing voice.
I saw him being chased around by a bar owner before this... I wonder if he's okay, I'm worried.
Even when he's causing trouble, people would still flock around him... That's what you call innate talent, isn't it.
He seems like someone who will belong everywhere he goes but in actually... No, I guess I'll never know unless I ask him.
At any rate, it is not a way of life I can imitate... What an amazing person, right.
ALEX
I'm often told that I share a similar approach to peace with the Captain. I'm happy, but also intimidated.
We often fight on the front lines together, but no matter how many times I see it, his swordsmanship is always admirable. I can't lose either.
To be the receiving end of all the knights' respect, I think he's truly an amazing person. I guess he was meant to be a leader, indeed.
There are so many knights wanting to train with the Captain that it becomes a competition. That's how strong he is.
I've been trying to win at times, but I never could. Nobody has ever been able to, though.
I wonder how much practice he had to go through to attain that strength... So far yet so faraway goal, eh?
HARRIET
He's the best archer in the order. You may be aware of this, but his skill is outstanding, isn't it.
If time allowed, he'd preach the wonder of love to the single knights... Cyrus would have a hard time with that, I think.
Harriet's strong point... Let's see. I think he has an unwavering heart as well as observant eyes. He can see the good in every person.
This might sound out of the blue, but... He's not troubling you, is he?
If Harriet recommends to you, it's highly likely to be me. But if notー
So it's me after all?... Well, I've been recommended no one but you too.
Some lines are striked-through because it's highly likely to be incorrect, better not read too much into them.
Lastly, there's always Twitter. If you put "#yumekuro_tl emilio" in the search bar, you'll find translations of his card/affection stories and voice lines.

um ok so i "accidentally" just finished xy because i THOUGHT i was watching the second to last episode but was actually watching the last. anyways (spoilers below) (also this post is very long, you've been warned)
i think it's probably one of the strongest seasons - not necessarily my favourite, but it's very good. i think the characters are on point this season, especially ash! he's still the energetic young trainer with huge aspirations, but you can tell how he's grown from his previous journeys. he may be reckless, but he's also smart!
the other characters he travels with are really great too and never feel too two-dimensional, especially serena! i'm so glad that serena got to have her own experiences and feelings alongside ash explored too, same with clemont and bonnie (including their relationship). i mean, i think this is something all of the seasons do well with their characters, but xy is definitely one that does it very well.
it's also the last season of pokemon that followed the original formula, journeying through the entire region and defeating all the gyms to compete in the region's league. as much as it works, i'm glad they switched it up next season, because otherwise i think it would've gotten too stale. not that anyone liked the fact they switched it up in sun & moon, but i did. so there you go.
and, once again, i feel like some of team rocket's appearances in episodes felt very forced and unnecessary. but... i feel like this season they were also the most evil. i mean, they always were, but this season they especially were. i've said before that in journeys, team rocket feel like nothing but comic relief, and in response i've gotten "well, they always were". and to an extent, that's true! but don't forget, they used to actually do some pretty messed up stuff. there was an episode where they pretended to be ash, serena and bonnie and then went around terrorising people to get the real trio arrested, so they could be separated from clemont, who they could then manipulate to create a machine to capture pikachu! obviously that's insanely elaborate and the end goal is the same one they've always had, but i think it proves my point that their characters really got degraded, because i would expect anything but that from them in journeys.
i also want to bring up the fluff towards the end of the season. i feel like they dragged out the time in between the anistar city gym and the snowbelle city gym a bit too much, every time i watched another xy episode i felt more and more annoyed at the fact they hadn't reached it yet, and we did get some very hard to watch episodes too. i mean, sure, on paper the idea of bonnie doing her usual "will you take care of my brother?" gag only to have the woman respond with "yes" actually kinda funny, but oh dear fucking god i had to skip that episode. it was too cringy. i'm probably biased, i really don't do well with romantic scenes or second-hand embarrassment, but jesus. never do that again.
i feel like the only other gripe i have to bring up is there there wasn't a proper scene where ash and clemont said goodbye. i mean i watched the dub which might've cut it out? no clue. but that really confused me. i mean, clemont was one of the first people ash met in kalos... why... wouldn't we see him say goodbye?! it left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth, watching the last few moments of that episode, recounting all of the journeys everyone had experienced. but eh, it's not a huge deal.
but yeah overall? xy is really good. i think it's a good starting point if you wanna get into pokemon but don't want to bother watching right from the start. as long as you have a good understand about ash and his goals, the season clicks pretty quickly. it also gives us probably the best version of ash we got, depending on how you feel. of course, ash in alola was skilled enough to beat the pokemon league AND his exhibition battle with TAPU KOKO, but ash was pretty much one move away from defeating alain (which, btw, as much as his alola league win was incredible, i feel like ash should've won his battle with alain) and that's a good enough demonstration of skill to me.
so yeah! xy gets a thumbs up from me. i know i was probably harsh this review but i want to emphasise that i do really like this season and i did enjoy it. that being said, i hope they never show a scene involving a crying hawlucha ever. again.

“Which one?” Dieter holds up two different harnesses for you to pick out. “This one lets you have a toy too.” He shoots you a grin. “Double the pleasure, right?”
This man is eager, bouncing on his toes as he waits for your answer. You know he’s probably on something, he’s always on something. This is Dieter that you are talking about. You snort and look around the store that he had immediately dragged you to, unconcerned with anyone seeing him in the toy section for strap ons at 1AM.
How you got here, you don’t really know. Okay you do, but it’s enough to make you shake your head in wonder.
It’s no surprise that Dieter is…horny. He will fuck anyone who will let him between their thighs. You’ve witness his attempts to get people to sleep with him, and you had known it would eventually come around to you.
You know he finds you attractive, he’s made comments - although he does try to keep them respectful-ish. He hadn’t asked before now because you had put your food down firmly when you had first started working with him. So much that he had thought for a long time that you did not like him.
Until tonight. Until he had crossed that line like a bull in a china shop and asked the question that had brought about this scenario. “Would you every let me fuck you in the ass?”
You had laughed, thinking it was joking but his brow furrowed as if he didn’t know what you had found funny. He hadn’t been joking, he really wanted to have sex with you. So your response was pithy, almost snarky because you were sure that the conversation would die right then and there. “Only if you let me peg you first.”
****
“Come on babe, which one?” He turns his wrist and looks at one of the boxes. “I like this one, it can hold all sorts of toys and it’s gonna look sexy on you.” He sends you a wink and rattles the box in your face. “What do you think?”
“Um…” You bite your lip and tap one of the boxes. “That one.”
“Great!” Dieter tosses the other one down and you huff, scooping it off the ground so you can put it back on the display where it goes. “Now let's go pick out your dick!”
Your snorted laugh is quickly smothered by a hand so you don’t disturb the bored looking clerk as they flick through whatever dirty magazine he was reading when the two of you walked in here. Hell, he had barely acknowledged your presence here, which was good for Dieter. The last thing he needed was someone reporting that he was buying a fucking strap on.
It makes you curious as you follow him, watching as he examines multiple dildos of various lengths and girths. Taking this as seriously as you’ve seen him take anything really. He picks on up and weighs it in his hand, running his fingers along the veins that are molded into the silicone.
“What do you think about this one?” He asks, holding it up and to you, it seems like it’s an impressive size but what do you know? “Think you’ll like wearing it?”
“I mean, I think what you think about it is more important.” You admit, giving a slight shrug of your shoulders. “You’ll be the one taking it.”
“Oh yeah.” He gives a small smile and looks down at it again. “Eh, I think something like this will be okay. It’s about my size.”
You cough discreetly and try not to think about that too much as you continue to go through the store to pick up everything you need to make this happen.
****
“Have you done this before?” You have to give it to Dieter, his hands are very respectful as he helps you into the harness and adjusts the straps to make sure the fit is right and it doesn’t rub wrong or move too much.
He looks up for a second and flashes you a grin and a wink that is far too charming to be attached to a man who dresses like a crazy cat lady. “Not that people know about.” He scoffs and rolls his eyes. “Apparently Dieter Bravo can’t possibly be a bottom.”
When you are wearing the strap and ready, Dieter starts to get undressed. He’s teasing and playful with it. Pulling his baggy shirt off and throwing it at you like he’s a Chipendale dancer and gyrating his hips in a way that shouldn’t be sexy,
Pants come next, then finally a pair of boxers that look like they are a million years old. Making you grin when you see a hole in the crotch. That doesn’t surprise you about Dieter in the least.
He’s eager, grinning at you and sending you a wink as he lays down on the bed and spreads his legs. He’s already hard and his cock is curled up towards his stomach beautifully. “Someone’s excited.” You tease, making him chuckle and give a small, cute little shrug as he pulls his legs back. Giving you a first hand view of a surprisingly hair free hole.
“It’s been awhile and fuck - you look good with a dick.” You can’t help but give a little laugh and gyrate your hips, sending the toy into a slight helicopter swing which makes him roll his eyes and squirm in anticipation. “Hurry up.” He whines, impatient already.
You make sure that you are safe about this. Nervous and yet you are practically dripping with arousal right now. Learning something about yourself as you slather up the dildo with lube - you are turned on by the idea of fucking Dieter.
Maybe it’s the fact that you are fucking a celebrity. Maybe it’s because he’s a pain in your ass a lot of the time and this is kind of a power trip - or payback. But it’s the way your pussy clenches and throbs when he is squirming below you, your fingers buried in his tight little hole that has you thinking that pegging is something you will enjoy.
The first inch he makes the most glorious sounds. Needy and almost pained, making you check in with him by caressing his hip. Dieter shakes his head, eyes closed and breathless. “D-don’t stop.” He begs, and it’s probably the most wonderful order he’s ever given you.
You don’t. Rocking your hips, you work your way deeper, breaking him open so beautifully on the dick you so desperately wish were yours so you can feel how his tight little ring of muscles squeeze you. The utter filth of his moans convincing you that he is enjoying this far more than you had ever imagined and the red tip of his cock is nearly purple from want and need, leaking against his belly.
The toy that you had bought for yourself grinds against your clit every time you thrust your hips, making your own breath catch when it presses just right. Your sounds muted and puffed out as your thighs start to burn, but still you chase those sounds, those faces he makes every time  you slide deep.
“Oh fuck.” Dieter moans, his hands gripping your thighs and he tugs you closer if he feels like your rhythm is faltering. “Of fuck baby- look at you fucking me. It’s-It’s so g-good.”
Shit. You can’t even help but be proud of yourself. Watching his hips start to roll down and start matching your thrusts. Fucking himself harder onto the toy as he babbles.
“Can-can’t wait to - oh fuck - wait to fuck you. You- you’re going to -to be so ti-tight.” Blunt nails start to dig into your skin, pinching slightly but it just makes you grin. You didn’t miss the way his eyes rolled back when you gave a particularly harsh thrust and hit something that had his thighs squeezing around you.
“Later.” You manage, biting your lip while continuing to grind into him with short, quick thrusts. Leaning over and bracing your arms while you wonder how the fuck guys continuious do this. No wonder they pause right when you are about to cum. You won’t complain next time. “F-first I want to- to see you cum.”
He whines, nodding eagerly and you watch as his hand - that fucking large, gorgeous hand - wraps around his cock in a fist and starts to pump his twitching dick to the same rhythm that you are filling him.
He looks fucked out. Hair mussed and sweaty, eyes glazed over -  you swear he’s drooling a little while your hips slap against the back of his thighs - every thrust pushing a tiny sound of him. A moan, a whine, a whimper - all of them sounding like a fucking filthy symphony of pleasure.
When he starts to beg, it’s beautiful. His hips rocking up, fucking his fist and taking the cock you are wearing so deep and still begging for more. Lost in a haze of lust and greedy pleasure. “More, more - oh fuck, please, please, please…..” His eyes are pitch black and burning with desperation.
Biting your lip, you widen your spread thighs, changing the angle and pushing his legs up onto your shoulders. Spreading him out wider and drilling down into him in a last ditch effort to rip this man apart at the seams.
You cum because he does. Your throbbing clit on fire and as soon as Dieter nearly wails your name, body stiffening and heaving, you cum. Nearly missing the show from the black out pleasure licking through your body. Almost closing your eyes before you see the white hot spurts of cum shoot from his cock like a gyser to paint his chest, his face contorted in a nearly painful visage while he seemingly cums for hours even though it’s only a few moments.
His groan is nearly inaudible as he slumps down onto the bed, spent and shaking with the toy still buried inside him. “Oh fuck.” He moans, making you grin tiredly. “We- we’re doing that again.” He manages breathlessly, cracking one eye open and humming while he floats on the endorphins that are flooding his system.
Yes, the fuck you were. You will let him fuck you ass anytime as long as you can peg him first.

Kaeya Alberich & Why his Failure is Inevitable
A theory on Kaeya’s reaction to- that event in his backstory.
take everything with a grain of salt , because it’s heavily based on assumptions, most of which are centered around his reaction to- backstory stuff, so gonna put that under the cut-. i actually originally said this in a reblog to someone asking the exact question awhile ago
im kinda in a content drought though so i might as well bring it back, hopefully some people find it interesting in this context though. Lol a lot of it is just seeing how angsty i can make it too so- ehe
actual content under the cut: (spoilers for kaeya’s backstory, diluc’s backstory, Khaenri’ah lore, and a bit of Childe’s backstory)
so the exact verbiage used in kaeya’s story for his reaction to Master Crepus’s death is: “Even someone like Master Crepus would submit to such a dangerous and evil power…” Sinister thoughts flashed through Kaeya’s mind, and he simply smirked— “This world is truly… fascinating.”
-
Now I’m actually pretty sure this quote ties in, not to the destruction of khaenri’ah, but to the cataclysm before it. Specifically, it deals with the Khaenri’ahn alchemist Gold who started it.
Canonically, Gold was an incredibly ambitious alchemist specializing in khemia 500 years ago. Their most well know achievement is corruption of the dragon Durin, but concealed much deeper in Teyvat’s history, a number of Gold’s legacies include incorporating the powers of the abyss into their alchemy(and eventually being corrupted by those very same powers, tho it might be a translation error), followed by the destruction of Khaenri’ah’s Eclipse Dynasty(including the royal family and the royal guards tasked with protecting the people of Khaenri’ah), and this was followed shortly by ‘using their talents to create an army of “shadowy monsters."’
these monsters, blood filled with the corruption of the abyss, would only continue pouring out of Khaenri’ah in waves until the fateful day that it was destroyed. The era of suffering these monsters caused would come to be known as the cataclysm.
-
taking those facts into account, it could be a remark about how even someone as kind hearted as Master Crepus could fall to the temptation and corrupting aspects of power that caused his people’s fall so long ago, even without the naturally corruptive effects of power from the abyss. that’s sad- but if you get into the theory of it its even sadder the further you go.
Now theory wise its important to make a few connections- I am under the impression that the “fall of the Eclipse Dynasty” that Gold caused through abyssal power was actually the first instance of Khaenri’ah’s curse, and the monsters of the cataclysm- were among the curse’s first victims.
a bit sadder with the fact that his statement can now refer to his feelings of there truly being nothing that could have been done to prevent the very same exact curse that has caused him so much suffering through his life. There was no resisting the corruption of power, only delaying it. It hammers in the fact that the reason he was sent to Mondstadt truly might be the destiny he had many times been told it was. A cruel joke from Celestia perhaps?
but not sad enough. let’s pull out the big one. The Khaenri’ahn Royalty Kaeya theory. (there’s a lot- im not gonna cover the explanation behind that one here)
Gold, the most powerful alchemist in Khaenri’ah would likely have worked under the Eclipse Dynasty, so assuming the theory of Kaeya(and Dainsleif) being the last member of the Eclipse Dynasty, its reasonable to say he would have known Gold. Now whether Gold was a good person or not is irrelivant because it remains the same either way. Kaeya has twice seen the corrupting abilities that come with power strip him of all those close to him, shouldering him with an additional responsibility to carry out in their memory that he never wanted. Yes this hurts more if he was close with Gold and Crepus managed to make him feel safe enough to get close to people even after that- but I’m here to provide the facts and theories, not the emotions, though theres a lot
but…. its a stretch(like a big stretch)… but for the sake of going all out on a limb, we can take this one step further.
In Childe’s story it references the abyss by saying “this dark realm had sensed the burning ambition in this boy’s heart” and it can be assumed that the powers granted by the abyss, as the natural opposition to Celestia(natural as in abyss magic literally opposes the magic of Celestia by nature) might just opporate in a similar way to the gnosises. Kaeya has no knowledge of gnosises though so for now lets use the word visions.
The powers of the abyss that were given to Gold would likely have been favored over visions from the gods in a godless nation like khaenri’ah afterall. and if he knew Gold, a known genius, he likely wouldnt have noticed anything off until it was too late. A sudden fall from his perspective. Visions, delusions, power from the abyss, what difference truly is there to a child raised to shun the gods. All are granted through ambition, and all will only end in suffering
afterthought:
However the main thing behind the Khaenri’ahn Royalty aspect of this angst fest- Kaeya would have been extremely young during Gold’s corruption and Khaenri’ah’s fall… like i cant help think of that one tik tok audio “that must be so confusing for a little girl” but it really does fit because now i can’t shake the imagery of Kaeya, faced with the imagery of the man who raised him dead as a result of a power he chose to use. And he finally understands what he was too young to understand back then. the world is not fascinating in a way that he is interested in it or wants to know more about it, but more interesting in the way that people’s eyes are involuntarily drawn to images of tragedy. It’s an expression of cruel irony, of truths he was forced to face, of knowledge he doesn’t want to know, but that he needs to know- if he plans on carrying through with his destiny- siding against Mondstadt. but siding with Mondstadt would cause him to turn against Khaenri’ah as Gold had all those years ago, and is that not fulfilling a cycle of fate all the same?
It’s an expression of mourning. He is chained by the legacy of Khaenri’ah and there’s nothing he can do to escape it. Either way the cycle will repeat. This fate gives him a unique power and even he will eventually succumb to it, doomed to be viewed as a corrupted betrayer no matter who he sides with, to doom yet another civilization in return. Such is his preordained role as the last hope of Khaenri’ah. The unescapableness, the way it all becomes so sure and clear and nauseatingly relevant in that very moment are what drive him to say that as he finally realizes that he cannot win.
-
of course a lot of this is a stretch and just theories, but the angst potential was there so i decided to run with it lmao
additional afterthought: this isn’t something kaeya would know, but the corruption of Durin by Gold was actually predicted by a priestess in dragonspine before Celestia destroyed it and made it like it is now.
just angsty because it reinforces the idea of a repeating cycle of foretold destiny that no matter hard hard Kaeya tries, he will never be able to escape. Really puts Mona’s “He believes he has made a clean break with his past, but one day fate will catch up with him” line into perspective.

Demon Brothers React to MC Getting Kidnapped by Lesser Demons.
Watch out for minor first half spoilers!!
Lucifer
Kicking himself because he has to find out through Mammon that the MC is missing and he didn’t notice their absence himself.
The second the alarm gets raised he gets into a state somewhere between coldly rational and extraordinarily furious.
Definitely still level-headed enough to rally and organize his brothers for a search party but there's nothing but seething rage just rolling off of him the entire time. Probably-could-have-made-another-Satan type rage.
How well he keeps his composure will be based entirely on how long the MC is MIA. The first hour or so will be mostly put together but past that he'll start to slowly unravel as the panic takes hold.
At one point he even gets snippy with Diavolo over the phone and that's when you KNOW that he's reaching meltdown mode.
If he's the first to find the MC, his #1 priority is to get them away from whatever scum grabbed them and take them to the closest safe place he can find. He'd scoop them up so fast they won't even know where he came from, just whoosh! How'd I get on this roof??
Only once they're out of harm’s way will he circle back and deal with their kidnappers personally. You better be sure any damage done to his human will be reflected a thousandfold back onto their attackers. Probably coming back to the MC with some blood on him and is not going to care.
Relieved to have the MC back but restricts them from going out alone after a certain time now for their own good. If they need something that badly, they can come to him.
Also strings Mammon up by his toes that night for losing them in the first place.
"By the time Cerberus gets to you, I'll be sure you're only my table scraps…"
Mammon
The first to notice that the MC was being oddly quiet (thank their father for his text spamming habit) then found their stuff scattered and abandoned at RAD.
Told Lucifer right away and, oh boy, he is a mess: talking a mile a minute, punctuating his sentences with expletives, on the verge of tears, whole nine yards.
He left his human alone for what?? Like five minutes, if even, to go to the library and get themselves kidnapped?! What kind of guardian is he?!?
Already searching the place top-to-bottom without being told where to go or what to do.
He actually ends up a strange inverse of Lucifer. While Lucifer will start panicking more over time, Mammon will start panicking less as his fear escalates to all out anger. Give it a few hours and he’s not even going to be able to keep his demon form under control anymore.
You know this boy is legging it across the entire Devildom himself waving around some kind of hand-drawn "Have You Seen This Human?" flyer looking for any leads at all.
If he were to find the MC first, his first action would probably be to plant his foot right in the face of whoever took them. Hard. Then repeat until their skull’s a caved-in mess on floor. No mercy this time, just pure protective rage.
Following the fight, you'd think he was just reunited with his lost puppy. Lots of crying, hugging, and blubbering out apologies even when the rest of his brothers show up.
Would pretty much be glued to the MC's hip for at least a week afterward and makes more of a point to hang off of them in public now. They're his human after all, can't have anyone else getting the idea of pulling a stunt like that again.
"MC!! What'd ya go runnin' off for?? We're goin' home after I take out this trash, got it!!"
Leviathan
Wouldn't really want to believe it at first because it just feels too unreal, like, the same thing happened to Henry in Episode 86 of TSL when he was kidnapped by enemies of the Lord of Fools and it was up to his true friend to track him down…
Suddenly remembers that Henry was also tortured while he was taken and that really sets in the panic.
Unsure of how to help at first because he knows he's just a useless shut-in but Belphie of all people is the one to remind him that he does have one big advantage over his brothers: a fucking navy.
In an act of surprising backbone, he more or less demands a full fleet of ships from Diavolo and (honestly to his shock) he gets exactly that to comb the Devil’s Sea while looking for MC. Lotan even helps out!
If he were to be the first to find the MC (presuming they are indeed on a boat or something cause 🤷‍♀️) those kidnappers really shouldn't have challenged the third strongest brother in his natural element, eh? Those who aren't automatically lashed in the face or flung overboard by his tail get hung by the leg over the edge of the ship for Lotan to pick off one by one.
Sails back to shore with MC booming with pride that he of all people finally got to be their hero! Will literally be so happy if MC ever brings it up again, doesn't matter how much time has passed.
Things would settle back to normal pretty quickly after that, but he now checks up on the MC a lot more often and will even leave his room for them if they need to go somewhere and don't want to go alone. Can't have this turning into a rerun, you know?
"You hurt my only friend… So drown."
Satan
One guess how the Avatar of Wrath took the news. It's not swimmingly.
Unless your definition of "swimmingly" is a murderous rampage of toppling furniture, breaking windows, and swearing to curse right about anything that moves, in which case aptly put.
He gets stuck in an anger-induced tantrum for a bit before finally getting snapped back into coherent thought by Belphie and putting those mystery novels of his to good use. Smart boi takes second to Lucifer himself in the search, suggesting good locations for his brothers scout based on what clues they have to go on.
Of course, he's not content to just to call orders from the sidelines and is out searching himself like he's on the goddamn warpath. Doors? Who needs doors? If anything the hole I made in your wall is more efficient.
Should he be the first to find the MC he would coolly and methodically subdue any kidnapper he can get his hands on, release his human, and bring them home as soon as possible. They've been through quite enough today and don't need to see anything he's got planned for the bastards later.
But the second that Diavolo puts them in the castle dungeon, you best bet that Henry 1.0 is going to the LEAST of their worries. Who's ever wanted to play a life or death game of hide and seek with a giant snake and the incarnation of Wrath itself? First one caught gets the "quick" death! Any volunteers?
Might give the MC a mild scolding for going out when they shouldn't have but otherwise is just happy to see them back and safe. May act extra soft towards them for a couple days, just until the nerves of the situation finally wear off.
"Don't mistake this for mercy. I assure you, I don't know the meaning of the word."
Asmodeus
Highkey freaking out, like, almost as hysterical as Mammon when he hears the news.
Being the Avatar of Lust, he of course knows there's a whole lot of creeps out there in the world and he is utterly terrified that his poor MC has fallen victim to one at that moment.
For once, all thoughts of himself and his looks are out the window. What? It's past 2am and MC is still gone? I can stay up another hour! Dry shampoo and a washcloth counts as a shower, right? Who the fuck cares, where's MC?? Somebody find them already!!
Pools his contact list with Satan's and starts reaching out across the whole Devildom asking for people to be on the lookout and offer tips. Also begs Solomon to use his magic to help in the search (which he's more than happy to do anyway because he cares about the MC too)
If he were to find MC first it'd be one of those rare cases where he'd be seen really truly enraged. No cute banter, no playful flirting, just telling those worthless scum-vats exactly where they belong and exactly how he's going to put them there. Is it any surprise that he's also madsick with a whip?
Crazy relieved that MC is free, but now it's on them to help him clean up and get back to his prettiest self. I mean, he worried himself half to death while they were gone! All this dirt and sweat going to take three, no four, bathes to fully clean off!! Best hop to it~♡
"Touch them one more time and I'm going to set fire to whatever landfill trash like you crawls out of!!"
Beelzebub
It can't be happening. It honestly can't be happening. First he loses Lilith and now MC?? He can't lose two. He. Can't. Lose. Two.
Pretty much the mantra going through his head as he tears the Devildom apart with his bare hands.
It's 1000x worse than how he gets when he's hungry because at least then he might stop when he finally gets fed. Now it's either find MC or wait until he collapses from exhaustion and hope he doesn’t leave the whole realm a smoldering crater before he gets that far.
There's no reasoning with him either, the best the brothers can do is steer him in a direction and let him loose.
If he found MC first he probably wouldn't even realize it for a bit, he'd just keep attacking whatever or whoever is in front of him on his path of blind destruction. It'd take the MC literally flinging themselves at him or throwing their arms around him to snap him out of it but then it's back to sweetheart Beel.
Hugs ensue. Really tight hugs. Probably a few tears and apologies too (even if it’s not really his fault at all).
Woe to anyone who tries going for the MC once he’s sure he has them because they WILL be broken then eaten. He’ll encourage his human not to look, but some things just have to be done.
Would absolutely carry MC back home and refuse to put them down until the others force him to. The floor may as well be lava planning on taking them away from him too.
Wouldn't care as much about personal vengeance as his brothers as long as MC is safe. He'll trust that his family will more than punish the kidnappers (though chances are he already took a chunk or two out of a few of them during his rampage anyway).
Protective instincts up by 100 after this, though Belphie usually steps in and eases him back a bit when he's about to get suffocating. MC never travels without a buddy now, ever. He just can't risk it.
"MC, I-I'm sorry… I just couldn’t lose you too…"
Belphegor
Keeps the coolest head of all the brothers on the outside, but there's a cold fury building up in those eyes.
Pretty much takes charge of whipping everyone back into gear with a combination stinging remarks and heavy duty guilt tripping. May not be the nicest method, but it's effective.
"Asmo, grow a freaking spine and do something useful for a change! Mammon, this your fault to start with so you ought to be breaking your ass to find them! Satan, watching you is getting embarrassing, pull yourself together and think like you're good at it!"
His harshest criticisms get saved for Lucifer (big shock) but he only dishes them out when he sees his older brother really losing his grip or teetering on losing hope. If the “mighty firstborn” can’t keep it together then why should they even listen to him in the first place?
When he's not administering "motivation," he's keeping tabs on Beel's progression through the Devildom and trying to minimize the damage there. He's the only one that can get through to him long enough to change his course if necessary.
If he were to find the MC first, well, unlike Satan he doesn't have the forethought to save the torture for later. It's happening right here, right now, and you better bet that being the last born doesn't stop him from being a force to be reckoned with.
Waits with the MC for his brothers to catch up to them and deal with any stragglers. May cuddle with them and look like he's trying to take a nap in the meantime, but in truth he's still very alert, on edge, and ready to absolutely wreck shit if anything gets too close to them.
Though it doesn't look like his lazy ass goes through the same protective streak as his brothers, he's a lot quicker to try and convince the MC to stay home now. No out and about=less chance of getting nabbed. Plus he keeps his favorite pillow, win-win. 😏
"What about your worthless lives makes you think you deserve my mercy??"

gentle lover
(1)gentle lover (2)burn me to the ground Movie/Game/Show: Loki Dynamic: Loki Laufeyson/Reader Warnings: spoilers for infinity war/1st episode of loki ig, fem pronouns Summary: Loki almost wishes he could've experienced the life he's watching of you and him together. ~~~
There’s something about looking upon the gentle face of a lover and coming to the realization that you’d do anything for them. It isn’t as though you never knew - the knowledge was already there, it just took a few seconds for the thought to become cemented as truth. Loki sees this in himself as he stands before the TVA projection of his life.
He’s paused at a moment on an unnameable planet. He sees himself standing on a balcony in what he assumes to be a late-night, but instead of staring up at the stars, he’s looking upon a woman beside him. She’s looking at him as well. They share the glance with smiles - and that’s what alarms Loki most. The smile he sees is one he hasn’t felt in years. It’s small but it’s more genuine than the leather he was wearing moments ago. It’s a smile he hasn’t felt since before he knew about Laufey. Since before his mother…
He knows that woman. One of Thor’s Midgardian friends. The one assigned to watch and guard him in New York.
He doesn’t know why she’s there with him. He doesn’t know why she looks so content to be on another planet with him. He doesn’t know why he looks so at peace at her mere presence. He doesn’t know why it makes him miss a reality he’s never even known to exist.
He almost wants to be there, just to know what it is about that woman that brings him so much tranquility at that moment.
She’s just another bug, their difference in lifespans is proof enough of that. But Loki knows that look, as much as he hates to admit to his own conscience, he knows that feeling smeared across his own face. It’s caring. Tender. A softness he’s never felt for others is now on full display to a Midgardian.
Loki clenches his jaw and resumes the projection.
He watches the two slide their hands together on a railing, interlocking their fingers.
The Loki onscreen’s eyes flicker between hers and their joined hands. It isn’t even him that speaks first, it’s her.
“When this whole thing is over and Sakaar is ruined and Thor has the throne, where will you go?”
Silence is passed between them, Loki brushes his thumb over her knuckles, tilting his head to the side briefly in thought, “Where will you want me?”
She chuckles and shakes her head, “You wouldn’t want to go to Earth. Unless you’d like the Avengers up your ass.”
They giggle together, ignoring the very real reason why the Avengers would be so onto him in the first place. Loki blinks at the woman, scooting closer to her, “I wouldn’t be fond of that… but for you, my dear, I’d tear the universe apart.”
He kisses her knuckles and she merely jokes back, “That sounds like exactly why they wouldn’t want you. Sorry to say they’re not fond of universe-tearing.”
“I’m charming and romantic and this is how I’m repaid?”
“However,” she stresses with a broad grin, “I can’t say that’s not excellent bargaining to keep you on a leash.”
Loki’s brows furrow and he nearly pulls back, “Like a dog?”
“Well, now,” she bites her lip in thought and looks away at the dystopian city below, but Loki still looks at her.
He looks at her as though she’d sewn the very realms together. As though she’d hung all the moons and suns and stars and planted every sweet flower and harvested every fruit. He looks at her like she’s the beginning of his world - and he knows that it also means that, if she asked right then and there, he’d help her destroy the world too. He looks at her as though she’s the only true love he’s ever known. And for all this Loki, watching himself and this woman be entwined, knows - she probably is. He can feel it through the very projection he’s watching, and so he plays another scene with her in it.
“For a woman who could undoubtedly tear people apart, you master the role of a noblewoman, love.”
“Well, that’s a relief.”
Her response is dripping in lighthearted sarcasm and it manages a laugh from the Loki onscreen as he lays back in a shared bed.
“I am somewhat on the espionage scene, it’d be a little embarrassing if I couldn’t even pull off a little role like this.”
“Even so, I admire you for it.”
“At this point, it’d be rarer to find something you don’t admire me for,” she lightly huffs, a smile tipping at her lips as she finishes tying up her dress, “Not that I’m complaining. It's a huge ego boost.”
“There certainly is much to admire about you,” Loki shows his palms as if to display a sort of surrender.
Before more can be said, the projection is paused once again. Loki closes his eyes and lets his head down in the silence - almost expecting that voice to creep through his mind again. He can hear her now, in his head. He knows that out there, in those other variations of him on the sacred timeline that haven’t yet become Variants, they can probably hear her too. In a more realistic sense, of course. Because if they’re determined to fall in love, there must be one of her fated for every one of them. And he almost pities the fact.
He plays the projection in bits and pieces.
“My mother…”
“Loki, stop, you don’t have to.”
“I wish to, dear.”
“Loki…”
“My mother, I truly feel that she would’ve adored you.”
He takes in their love story as it comes and he struggles down what feels too intimate for even him to watch.
“Do you ever worry about the day when you wake up and I don’t?”
“Yes, of course, I do.”
“What will you do?”
“I prefer to not think on that.”
“You think about everything.”
“Some things… are better left unplanned for. At least for now, when that isn’t a valid worry in my mind.”
He almost wishes he hadn’t touched that tesseract. Just to live a life where he gets to see first-hand how this human woman manages to creep under the walls he so carefully spent years crafting.
“I love you.”
“Poor choice, really.”
“Loki. Seriously. I love you.”
“I love you, too, dear.”
It’s bizarre to see himself love. It’s bizarre to watch as he cares for a being he once would’ve had no qualms ruling over. It’s bizarre to know that this is what could’ve been the happiest times of his life if he hadn’t picked up the tesseract.
“Did you ever imagine yourself here?”
“On a spaceship with a bunch of Asgardians and the gladiators from Sakaar? No, never.”
“I meant with me.”
“I know, I was just messing with you. And… no. To be honest. I thought maybe I’d have to watch you as a guard or something. With the whole trying-to-take-over thing, but never that I’d be your girlfriend.”
“Eh.”
“‘Eh’? The hell does ‘eh’ mean? I am!”
“It sounds so… juvenile. Girlfriend - boyfriend.”
“What? Wife sounds better?”
“In honesty? Yes, it does. I’d much rather call you my wife than my girlfriend.”
“You can’t joke about that! I’ll get my hopes up.”
“Who said anything about joking, dear?”
And as he comes to the end, as he watches himself be lifted by the titan he’s come to fear more than anything, he hears her. Her mourning. Her screaming. Her pleading. Her gut-wrenching cries.
He watches her and Thor crawl to his body and sprawl themselves over it in heaps of hiccupped tears and choked sorrows.
“You were supposed to out-live me… Loki, please. You’ve come back before, Loki, please, come back again. Come back again… I can’t - I can’t live this life without you, Loki… please… please come back again…” she sounds as though her heart itself has been ripped from her chest and torn in two before her very eyes, “You were supposed to out-live me… Loki...”
He looks away from the screen. Decides that now is too much. He can’t watch her lose what she saw as the world. Loki barely knows her and yet he knows himself enough to know if he watches her grief then he’ll want to mend it.
Looking upon her and seeing how deeply and irrevocably she’d cared for him, knowing of his past and forgiving his ways and loving him anyway, he knows he’d want to end her cries. It’s that feeling of realization that makes him feel ridiculous for wanting to do so much for a Midgardian he hasn’t fallen in love with yet.
Yet?
Yet.
It’s a feeling of realization that he’d do anything for that lover of his, when he gets to love her. If he gets to love her.
And it’s that ‘if’ that makes him understand why Mobius was so interested in making him watch his own life. His own future. It makes him realize what he wants but can’t have. His brother, his love, his happiness - it gives him something to want. Lying just out of reach.
So long as he’s compliant with the TVA, he assumes. Otherwise, he’d have to tear the universe in half to even see that Midgardian woman once again.

The True One
A/N THERE ARE SPOILERS FROM RECENT LORE STREAM! DO NOT READ THIS FIC IF YOU DON’T KNOW!
Summary: Reader learns the truth.
Pairings: Parental! Tommy x Teenage! F! Reader
Warnings: Mother Fluffing Angst. Death. Mentions of Exile. Swearing.
Part 2
A/N: This is not canonical to Lost Ones! It has elements from the storyline but it’s not canon. And yes, I’m dying on the inside because of the stream. That’s why I wrote this.
Ps: (F/L) means first letter of your first name. I forgot to put this original.
---------------------
(Y/N) was thirteen when she first thought her father died.
Dream wouldn’t let her stay with him. Tommy had to serve his punishment.
But being told no was never in an Innit’s vocabulary. She snuck into his exile every day she could, avoiding the likes of Dream and going behind her Uncle Tubbo’s back, who had taken over her care.
At first, everything was fine and Tommy always enjoyed her visits. Then something changed…
She had begged anyone that would listen to go with her to her father’s exile. He had begun to worry her. All of her life, Tommy had told her to never trust Dream. He often cursed Dream’s name to the wind and his face and she often cursed his name in the wind with him. Now, he called Dream friend.
No one came though, not even Tubbo, always claiming they were busy.
She never relented though and tried to make her visits more frequent; unfortunately, being so desperate made her sloppy. Tubbo caught her sneaking into the Nether and followed her.
This time though, he listened! He went with her, saying only because he was free and they were already here.
She had rejoiced as she practically skipped down the path to Tommy’s. Stepping out of the portal, her heart dropped though. Logstedshire was smoking and in ruins.
“Daddy!” (Y/N) screamed as she ran towards the dying embers of the fire.
Tubbo was frozen by the edge of the path over, looking at the hastily built pole.
“You wouldn’t Tommy,” Tubbo whispered. “Not with (Y/N) …”
“Daddy!” She screamed again, tears in her eyes, snapping Tubbo out of his shock.
Tears were in his own eyes. He had lost his best friend…
“(Y/N),” Tubbo muttered to her, going over to her carefully.
(Y/N)’s mind was racing. What had Dream done? Tommy couldn’t have done this. He wouldn’t leave her here…
Dream did this, but it could have been stopped. He…
Tubbo put a hand on her shoulder but she whipped away from him, glaring daggers at the older male. Tubbo was surprised, having never seen (Y/N) give anyone such a look.
“You didn’t care.” She spat out venomously. “I TOLD ALL OF YOU! HE NEEDS YOU! I TOLD YOU!”
        “(Y/N), I—”
“IT’S YOUR FAULT!” She shouted before running off into the woods.
Tubbo had stood frozen, unable to process what happened before it was too late. He shouted (Y/N)’s name for hours in the woods but she had, had a good teacher. Tommy taught her everything he knew and while he wasn’t the stealthiest man, it was enough to hide from Tubbo.
She stayed at the ruins of Logstedshire, unable to leave or accept her father was gone. He wouldn’t just leave her, he’d come back.
That’s where Technoblade found her and she most certainly could hide as easily from him. But luckily, he didn’t take her back to L’Manberg, she brought her to the one thing that mattered.
(Y/N) followed behind Techno quietly, intimidated by the man that told her to just be quiet and follow. They got to his base and he opened the door to the lower level before going down the ladder.
“Tommy!” He called, making (Y/N) freeze from where she was watching him go down.
“What do you want?” Tommy groaned, coming out from his base in the floor.
(Y/N) grabbed the sides of the ladder and slid down. She hurt her feet at the bottom but didn’t care. Tommy was startled by the other person present before grinning widely.
“Little (F/L)!” He threw open his arms. “Sorry I haven’t gone to see—Ooof!”
He became winded as she slammed into him with a hug.
        He was back.
Life went on again as (Y/N) went back to the belief; nothing could bring her father down on his last life.
She was sixteen when the final battle occurred. She lived with Tommy once again in their old home.
She woke up and stretched only for a note to fall off her chest. Frowning, she picked up and read her father’s handwriting before sprinting up.
It was a possible final goodbye from Tommy and Tubbo.
She had her sword and axe clipped on her belt as she was hastily putting her armor as she went out the door. She was at the Nether portal when said pair came out, Tommy’s arm around Tubbo’s shoulder grinning.
“WHAT THE FUCK?!” (Y/N) screamed at her father and he winced.
It took a lot to calm (Y/N) down that day…and the next.
She had really become a lot like him in her sixteen years of life. She often spoke her mind and was not afraid to hold back. Her swordsmanship wasn’t half bad, having been taught by both Tubbo and Tommy. She, of course, also had a passion for rare discs as well. (Y/N) was her own person, but people often called her small Innit as she resembled her father so much.
She was so much so like him, when she calmed down after the final battle for the discs, Tommy gave her a gift.
“Here.” He smirked, holding out a (F/C) piece of fabric.
“What’s this?” She questioned, taking it.
“Your own bandana, I was going to get you a red one but, thought you should try to be your own woman.” He shrugged.
She stared at it before hugging her father tightly, making the man laugh as he hugged her back.
        “Thanks, dad.”
“Eh, you’re my kid, I kind of have to be nice to you.”
She punched his shoulder before putting it on as Tommy laughed.
She wore it every day with pride.
        …
She was visiting Tubbo when it happened.
She didn’t need her father to survive, but he had “important business” and said he’d come to get her from Tubbo’s after to celebrate. At the time, she thought he was just improving the hotel.
The day ended though and there was no sign of Tommy. She was worried but Tubbo assured her that Tommy could have lost track of time or his business took longer than he meant. She stayed the night in Snowchester and went home in the morning. When she got home…there was no Tommy.
“Hey dad, you there?” She called on their channel.
        No answer.
She shifted nervously, before going to the construction site. Sam Nook might have kept him busy.
When she got there, Jack was putting up a large, cloth sign with hastily written words painted on it over the main sign.
“Jack, what are you doing?” She frowned.
Jack whipped around, before grinning. “I’m putting up my sign for my new hotel!”
        (Y/N) blinked once. Then twice.
“What did you say bitch!” She shouted.
Jack rolled his eyes as he came over, his hand twitching towards his axe. “I’m the last worker here. Tommy’s not going to be needing any more, so now it’s mine. So, get off my property.”
(Y/N) had noticed his hand and watched him carefully as she put a hand on her sword handle.
“What do you mean he’s not going to be needing it?”
Jack grinned wickedly. “Tommy’s been thrown in jail.”
What? No, he didn’t do anything!
        “You’re lying.”
        “No, he’s in there…”
        “Stop lying.”
        “And he’s not getting out…”
        “Stop lying!”
“He’s done some pretty horrible things.”
(Y/N)’s sword hit his as he reacted quickly in shock at the teen’s rage.
“I said stop lying you fuck!”
Jack’s eyes had darkened and he went to strike the girl when a new body went in front of (Y/N) and a shield blocked the attack.
“Get off the property or I will have to dispose of you.” Sam Nook told him.
“This is my—!” Jack started shouting.
“This is my property!” (Y/N) shouted, sword at her side. “It’s the Big INNIT Hotel. As an Innit, I demand you leave.”
Jack growled and left the property. Tommy was taken care of; it’d be her turn next.
“Sam, where’s dad?” (Y/N) asked Sam Nook quietly.
“I’m not sure. I’m sure he’ll be back soon though!” He tried to encourage her.
“Yeah.” She muttered. “Keep Jack away ok? I’m going to…go see if anyone knows where he went.”
        “Ok. Be careful Miss (Y/N).”
She nodded as she went home, taking deep breaths before going on the public channel.
“Hey, does anyone know what Tommy was doing last?” (Y/N) asked, pacing the room.
“He was visiting Dream last I heard,” Foolish answered her call.
She stood frozen in the middle of the base. Tommy had gone and…
“Did something happen when he came back?” Her voice was more frantic.
“Not that I know of, yesterday was the last I heard from him.”
        Yesterday?!
(Y/N) felt her chest tighten as she remembered her fear when she was thirteen. The fear she felt when she read Tommy’s note. All the pain the two of them endured to try and finally now live happily. She needed to see Sam now.
Just like she had a few months ago she scrambled to put on her gear and ran out the door towards the prison. The effects of the area tired her, made her feel weaker, but she didn’t care as she stood at the entrance.
“Sam!” She called, knowing the man could hear her. “Sam! Answer me please! Sa—”
“I figured you come.” Sam said stepping through the portal, hands behind his back. “(Y/N), I need you to leave.”
        “Where’s my dad?” She demanded.
“There was a security breach when he was in the main cell. I can’t open it until I have it figured out.”
“He’s…He’s in there with Dream?!” She shouted.
“Yes, but Tommy’s tough he can…”
“Daddy!” She screamed, going for the entrance but Sam took her arm to stop her.
“(Y/N), I need you to leave until I have this figured out.”
“No, while my dad is in there you stupid bastard! Let him out!”
        “I can’t open the cell—!”
“I don’t give a flying fuck!” She roughly pushed him away and sprinted in before Sam could stop her. “Dad!”
“(Y/N)!” Sam shouted as he followed after her.
She went to run but Sam easily caught her, more used to the effects of the prison.
“Let me go! I have to save him! Daddy! I’m going to save you this time!” She screamed into the building. “I won’t leave!”
“You’re only prolonging how long he’s in here!” Sam told her. “I need you to leave so I can work (Y/N).”
“I can’t leave him. I can’t lose him again. Please, Sam. He—That box and—Dream—and…” The teenager was in tears as she pleaded with the creeper hybrid.
Sam sighed sadly. “I know. I know. I will fix this as soon as I can. Please, go home. I’ll fix this and get him out, I promise.”
She couldn’t do anything, but she had to do one thing even in hopes he’d hear.
“I LOVE YOU, DADDY!” She heard her voice echo. “I’LL MAKE SURE YOU GET OUT OK!”
She couldn’t do anything more. Sam wouldn’t let her. Instead, she went to the hotel and stayed there as it was even just a few miles closer to where her father was trapped.
For days, she didn’t leave the room, just staring out the window at the building looming in the distance. Sam Nook tried to get her to eat but she couldn’t. Tubbo had come to try and help her once but that didn’t help at all, only reminding her of before. Her mind couldn’t even think about doing something like that.
All she could think about was her father.
Sometimes, as she stared at the building, she sat on their channel on the walkie and just talked like he’d hear her. He had to hear her…
She was sitting by the window when her door opened, Sam Nook looking at the ground as Sam stood tall behind him.
“What are you doing? You need to be—” (Y/N) started, her voice strained as she stood up.
        “I’m sorry,” Sam muttered.
“What? What do you mean? Why aren’t you looking into your security breach?” She asked.
“I’m so sorry, I was too late,” Sam whispered.
(Y/N) stood there, taking in his words. “What the hell are you talking about?”
“I tried (Y/N) and I wish I could have…” He came in but she shook her head.
“You’re fucking with me. You lying piece of shit, this isn’t funny.” She pointed at him, as she stepped back.
        “I’m not…”
“You’re lying!” She shouted her throat hurting, but she took off her walkie.
She needed to prove them wrong! But…
Tommy Innit was slain by Dream
“No. No. No. NO! IT’S WRONG!” She screamed to the wind. “IT’S WRONG! HE’S NOT GONE!”
She collapsed crying, hugging the walkie close to her as Sam came over, hugging her tightly to him. Across the ocean, Tubbo was running for the nearest boat to get to the girl he considered a niece, but nothing would comfort her now.
“DADDY!” She cried out, her bandana around her neck fluttering lightly as she cried at the true death of her father…

What I like a lot while plotting potterlock is the concepts that I can develop further than what had happened in the original plots (duh, the beauty of fanfic)
For example, for my johnlock timeline (1980s) I was inspired by the Marauders dynamic, but of course I spiced it up a notch because I can. There were 4 Marauders, but for the johnlock crew in my fic there is going to be 7 people involved. Let’s list them:
John Watson (Gryffindor)
Sherlock Holmes (Ravenclaw)
Greg Lestrade (Hufflepuff)
Jim Moriarty (Gryffindor - there is a reason for this that is yet to be shown)
Carl Powers (Gryffindor)
Molly Hooper (Ravenclaw)
Mary Morstan (Slytherin)
Now while there is an obvious imbalance between the members of the Houses, the crew dynamics will be important. Mary is not very popular because of the bbc Sherlock canon (which I allign with too, and I like evil Mary plots, but I challenged myself to write her differently here, which means that she will not interfere with John and Sherlock as a potential romantic interest just because she is a girl). I made her a Slytherin because, well, she is. And I love her to death in this fic. More on that later.
Next, Carl Powers and Jim Moriarty. Jim’s Gryffindor arc will remain unveiled for now, but I really wanted to include Carl Powers beside being dead. And I like to have them established as close friends before joining J&S&G. They both have things to offer to the Detective Trio, and will contribute to their developments too (especially Sherlock’s, because we know how he is regarding ‘friends’).
Molly Hooper is a sweetheart. She also is not going to pose as this infatuated fragile girl to the boys. While she is lovely and definitely interested in dating, it’s not with the main trio because?? Girl knows her worth. She befriends Sherlock in Year 1, but that is an added detail to that chapter which I will keep secret until it is updated. (which I dunno when it is pls dont kill meh) She a great friend, supportive, and all around smarter than Sherlock in certain situations. These two Ravenclaws will have a great friendship. Once Sherlock stops being so aloof he’ll take her as his little sister most likely.
Greg Lestrade. My man. We could argue he could be a Gryffindor but nah fam. My boy here is a pure Hufflepuff who puts up with the fiery egos of his two best friends with ease. There is a lot of clashing in this group at first. You have three Gryffindors who are not afraid to butt heads (respectfully if needed), a smartass Ravenclaw that has no filter, a second Ravenclaw that likes to watch the chaos as long as nobody gets hurt... Someone needs to keep them in line. And that someone is Greg. Does it tire him? Yes. Does he care? Eh, he got used to it. He and Mary will get along well. The biggest theme in my fic is to destigmatize that awful Slytherin-Gryffindor rivalry. Mary is chill. Slytherpuff duo of Common Sense. Are they wary of each other at first? Yeah, but the point is that they ignore the surface-level House bullshit and grow over first impressions.
John and Sherlock, dudes. You know the drill. They’re the core members, but they are in for a whooping. They cannot be in a bubble, even if they’re the other pair of the protagonists. They both have to cooperate with others to grow as people. And what better way to do it than to put them into a crew that fucks shit up? I’d like to develop this thought but that would contain spoilers, and I have to remind myself that I havenpt update in... an abominable amount of time. So I’m making up with this post lol.
Now, the name of the crew. - I don’t know
The main trio that is John, Sherlock, and Greg I have already titled the Detective Trio. But the whole crew of 7... Lucky Seven? Oh, that actually isn’t bad and will correlate with the later plot development in the 1997 timeline... I’m a genius
I think Lucky Seven can be the shield name for now anyway, hah
Thank you for coming to my TED talk
oh yeah and one the aforementioned peeps will become a werewolf haha
(Part 2 of this post where Bee asked about their Animagi powers)
