I feel like there's quite a few different things that could work in that scenario #he has wit in terms of smarts & snark & whimsy. he was part of a movement that opposed tyranny and valued freedom. back then he wanted #to protect innocents. he's charismatic and good w/ people. he was a loyal friend to solas and later on was loyal to briala. he's calm and #level-headed. steady. a slow arrow makes its way to its target/goal slowly but steadily and you dont see it coming #Wit.. Loyalty.. Friendship.. Freedom.. Steadfastness.. Charm.. Protection.. Resolve.. Duty #my personal hc atm tho is- if he was- Guidance ◕‿◕. “'I kindled nothing' Felassan said. [...] 'I merely offered guidance.'"#he spent the rebellion guiding an army as a General and giving Solas guidance on how to be a good leader interact w/ people be the face #of a rebellion and to stay on the right path as one of his advisors. later he was Briala's hahren/elder giving her guidance through TME #he signs codexes like ask for the slow arrow and i will help/guide you. he was looking after those of flesh and fade in the lighthouse #guidance can be given from both a second-in-command (subordinate) role and from a superior (elder to mentee) role #when we see him in a memory Solas welcomes the spirits in elven then says “lasa ghilan” which means grant/give guidance #and the very next thing that happens is that Felassan speaks. an Arrow gives direction. it POINTS THE WAY..

#zeno's art #ocs #reassassination #octavia krankenstein #oh i got a LOT to say about this one #in the comic octavia starts wearing this outfit after a certain event i think n its very symbolic #it represents mainly how her personality has changed as well as her relationship with kranken and humanity as a whole #lets do it top to bottom. FIRSTLY the mask that replaces her goggles that she wore in the “summer” outfit #the mask represents several things. firstly that octavia's relationship with kranken improved #i think the mask itself is probably kranken's and octavia uses it. showing that they've become closer #and ALSO even using a mask to hide her identity while working is in line with kranken's ideas of clothing being practical rather than flashy #(see her first outfit was originally really frumpy and practical before she DIY'd it into the minidress type thing)#anyway. the hoodie is supposed to harken more to an executioner showing octavia is more used to her job #the hoodie has eyelets which are circles. the fact that there are way more circles in the design shows that she becomes less cold #and more assimilated into human society #the gloves however are a sign of her persistent rebellion as they're fingerless and impractical lol #the pants are based off of tripp nyc's design. which was popular with mallgoths in the 90s/00s #it shows octavia's own personality and interests and of course has two hidden sets of 6's through the eyelets #lastly her shoes resemble skulls. that one's just for fun #while her first outfit completely represented rebellion i like to think this one bridges the gap between rebellion and octavia settling down #and becoming more familiar with those around her #this is only the first pass so i'll prob incorporate more red into the outfit before it's finalised #octavia isn't the only one who changes either! i want like ~3 changes for almost everyone

not exactly disappointed by the news that opla s2 will cap at drum island bc while im obviously terrified of the show getting cancelled before getting to alabasta it's like. that is the arc that made me (and a lot of other people i think) fall in love with the series as a whole it's one of the best shounen arcs (or tbh in all anime) ive ever seen and it needs to get it's due. like you need time to define the stakes....alabasta took the time to unpeel layer after layer of different kinds of suffering that was going on in the country like the pain of the citizens and vivi's utter desperation were so so so crazy that by the time you got to the end and they play ANTONIN DVORAK'S SYMPHONY NO 9 as crocodile is defeated and the rain starts to fall and vivi can finally stop screaming her lungs out and say "the nightmare is over" and you the viewer is like haha holy shit. the nightmare is over. so yeah im good with alabasta being an entire season 😃👍

Because of your last question, now I want to know what kinda buddy comedy movie Lucy and Simon would star in?

Well, we know for a fact that Simon is gonna be some sort of father/big brother figure to Lucy. Because even at his worst rake lifestyle, I fully believe Simon still would have been a better role model than Lucy's uncle or brother. And from the book, we know Simon isn't bad with children. He just refuses to carry on the bloodline. We see him positively interact with both Gregory and Hyacinth, who were ages 11 and 10 at the time.

I like to think Simon somehow acquired Lucy during his traveling years. Not 100% sure how, probably some sort of tradegy for Lucy's parents, but somehow Lucy ended up in Simon's custody. Originally, Simon was just going to make sure Lucy got back to England safely and drop her off in the care of her relatives. But Lucy was so adamant about not going back. There was something in her expression that Simon recognized and empathize with.

Simon, being the young and kinda dumb 20 something year old he was, didn't think much beyond that and just took Lucy wherever he went. Was this kidnapping, maybe, but Lucy's uncle didn't care when he got that letter one less problem for him. He was happy to sign over custody to Simon. Simon, being the nerd that he is, rationalized that he was giving Lucy an advanced education. Lucy was just happy to strap in for the ride and not back to her creepy uncle.

So now we got the pre marriage girl dad Simon and his precious baby girl Lucy. Simon tries his best to give Lucy a childhood better than his own, and yes, sometimes he may spoil the girl. Simon's nerd side comes out full force when he helps Lucy with her studies, especially math. He teaches her how to follow the stars like a map.

There are some who theorize that Lucy is actually Simon's illegitimate child who takes her mother, but those rumors are ignored. Simon himself rolls his eyes at those rumors while Lucy herself follows his lead. She doesn't understand fully herself, but if Simon says to give them no mind, then she'll do just that.

Things start to get interesting when Simon starts his fake courtship with Daphne. Lucy thinks they should court for real. She likes Daphne, and Daphne has quickly taken the girl, too. Simon is lowkey side eyeing Gregory, though, because why is he standing so close to Lucy? Good sir, you both are too young to think of courtship!

#i will always throw math nerd simon into my stories because i miss this trait for him #it didn't get passed into the show from the book but lowkey simon ain't that big of a rake #don't get me wrong he still is one but its more of a persona #simon's actual first act of rebellion against his dad in the books was to sign himself up for school #bridgerton #simon basset #lucy abernathy #simon and lucy friendship
