Reminder Reflections 193
The best part of being authentic is that there is no image to maintain. You will delight some and disturb others, and none of it will concern the truth of your being.

🗝️ The Cup: Vessel of Emotions, Intuition, and the Soul's Overflow 🗝️
In tarot, the cup is more than a mere vessel; it represents the heart, intuition, and the profound world of our emotions. The cup carries water – the element of the soul, fluid yet deep, soft yet transformative. When we draw a cup, we're being asked to listen deeply to our inner voice, to connect with the nuances of feeling, and to honour the wisdom that flows within us.
🌊 The Cup in Tarot 🌊
The Suit of Cups reflects our emotional landscape, relationships, dreams, and inner desires. Let’s look at how a few cards bring these energies to life:
Ace of Cups 💧 — The seed of love and intuition. This card brings the first touch of emotional awakening, a gentle invitation to open the heart and let love or inspiration flow in.
Five of Cups 🥀 — Embracing loss, finding new hope. While it’s often seen as a card of grief, it reminds us that healing begins when we acknowledge what has passed and allow space for what can be.
Ten of Cups 🌈 — Harmony, fulfilment, and joy. In this card, we see the soul's dream realized – a true sense of belonging, emotional wholeness, and connection.
🔍 Reflections for Your Path
Where in your life are you being called to open to deeper emotional truth? Are there feelings you’ve set aside that need to be embraced and honoured? Cups remind us that while emotions may be powerful, they’re also sacred and lead us closer to our authentic selves.

Kudrat se Milo: Embracing Nature to Discover Oneness
Tumblr media
In the midst of our complex, fast-paced lives, we often find ourselves disconnected—from each other, from our purpose, and from the earth that nurtures us. Sant Kabir’s verse, "Kudrat se milo, phir kya ho, mil gaya samjho; Bharat sab ek hai, jismein abhi hai," invites us to reconnect with nature to realize a profound spiritual truth: that everything in existence is one, indivisible, and interconnected.
At first glance, the verse seems simple, but it carries a layered depth that speaks to both our physical reality and our spiritual journey. It highlights the importance of aligning ourselves with the natural world—both the external environment and the inner nature that exists within all of us. Sant Kabir asserts that when we truly meet and understand nature, we realize we have already obtained everything we seek. He reminds us that Bharat—symbolizing all existence—is fundamentally one, unified, and still.
Understanding Nature as Our Teacher
When Sant Kabir speaks of “meeting nature,” he’s not just talking about spending time in forests or rivers, though that is certainly one way to begin. It’s about observing the rhythms of life, the seasons of growth and decay, and understanding that we are a part of this cosmic dance. Nature is a mirror of our own inner journey. Just as rivers flow towards the ocean, all our efforts, thoughts, and aspirations ultimately flow towards unity with the divine.
To meet nature means to shed our illusions of separateness, our ego-driven belief that we stand apart from the world around us. When we stop striving against the natural flow of life and instead move with it, we begin to understand that we are already whole. This realization brings an incredible sense of peace and clarity.
Sant Kabir’s insight here is profoundly relevant to modern life. In a world dominated by technology and artificial environments, our connection to nature has weakened. Yet, it’s precisely this connection that holds the key to our well-being, both spiritual and emotional.
The Stillness of Oneness
Sant Kabir points out that “Bharat sab ek hai, jismein abhi hai,” suggesting that all of existence—Bharat—is one. This oneness, this unity, is not something we have to strive to achieve. It’s always present, always still, like the calm at the centre of a storm. The "abhi" (stillness) that Sant Kabir refers to represents the essence of life that remains unchanged, no matter how much the external world may fluctuate. It’s the part of us that is eternal, the core that remains steady as the waves of joy and sorrow, success and failure, rise and fall in our lives.
To experience this stillness, we must quiet our minds and observe the world without judgment or expectation. Only then can we perceive the unity underlying all things. When we step into this awareness, we realize that the distinctions we see—between ourselves and others, between what we want and what we have—are illusions. Everything is already here, already one.
A Practical Toolkit for Integrating Kabir’s Wisdom
Sant Kabir’s teachings aren’t abstract concepts meant to be admired from a distance; they are practical, lived wisdom. Here’s how you can incorporate this spiritual insight into your daily life:
1. Daily Walks in Nature
Begin with a simple daily walk, preferably in a natural setting. Use this time to reflect on the rhythms of nature. Observe how trees grow slowly yet steadily, how birds move effortlessly with the wind. These moments of mindfulness help ground you and remind you of your own natural flow.
2. Mindful Breathing
Practice mindful breathing as a way to tap into the stillness Sant Kabir speaks of. Spend 5–10 minutes each day focusing on your breath. As you inhale, visualize yourself drawing in the energy of the earth; as you exhale, release any feelings of separation or tension. This practice helps you connect with the present moment, where unity exists.
3. Connecting with the Elements
Take time to connect with the five elements—earth, water, fire, air, and ether—through daily rituals. For example, grounding yourself by walking barefoot on the grass, or lighting a candle and reflecting on the transformative nature of fire. These small acts remind us of the interconnectedness of all life.
4. Gratitude Practice
Each evening, write down three things you’re grateful for that nature has provided—whether it’s the food on your table, the air you breathe, or the beauty of a sunset. Gratitude helps to reinforce your connection to the larger world and nurtures a sense of abundance.
5. Silence and Reflection
Set aside 10 minutes of your day for silence. During this time, refrain from speaking or engaging with distractions. Simply sit with yourself and observe your thoughts, without reacting to them. This practice helps cultivate inner stillness, the space where you can experience the unity Kabir describes.
Looking Ahead
In a world that often feels fragmented and chaotic, Sant Kabir’s words serve as a reminder of the inherent oneness of all things. By reconnecting with nature and embracing the stillness within ourselves, we can tap into a deeper sense of fulfillment and peace. The wisdom of this timeless verse guides us not to chase after what we think we lack, but to realize that we are already complete, already part of the grand, unified whole.
The practice of living in alignment with nature not only deepens our spirituality but also brings balance and harmony into our daily lives. Sant Kabir’s teachings invite us to step into the flow of life with grace, trust, and an unshakable sense of belonging.

How Do Other People Reflect Your Inner World?
I ran this morning, prepping for my half marathon in four weeks. I use my phone to track my miles, laps, etc. I planned to do twelve miles today but set my target to ten miles on the phone. I wanted to protect myself from disappointment in case I could not make the twelve miles. (I did run 12.39 miles finally—I cannot resist stating that here.) If we’re emotionally triggered by someone’s…

"Above all, don't lie to yourself."
Tumblr media
Fyodor Dostoevsky was the most popular and influential novelist of 19th century Russian literature.
Born: Moscow - 11 November 1821 Died: Died: St. Petersburg - 9 February 1881
Siberian Exile: Dostoevsky experienced significant hardship early in life. In 1849, he was arrested and sentenced to death by firing squad for his involvement with the Petrashevsky Circle, a group of intellectuals critical of the tsarist regime. However, at the last moment, his sentence was commuted to four years of hard labor followed by exile in Siberia. This traumatic experience deeply influenced his later works.
Near-Death Experience: In 1849, while in prison awaiting his execution, Dostoevsky and several other prisoners were taken out to be shot. They underwent a mock execution, a psychological ordeal where they were lined up before a firing squad and had their sentences read aloud. The experience had a profound impact on Dostoevsky's outlook on life and death.
Gambling Addiction: Dostoevsky struggled with a serious gambling addiction throughout his life. His gambling habit led him to financial ruin, and he often found himself in dire straits. The theme of gambling and its destructive consequences is explored in his novella "The Gambler."
Marriage and Personal Life: Dostoevsky's first wife, Maria Dmitrievna Isaeva, died of tuberculosis just three months after their marriage in 1857. He remarried Anna Grigoryevna Snitkina, who played a crucial role in managing his finances and supporting his writing. Their marriage was a source of stability in Dostoevsky's tumultuous life.
Writing Under a Deadline: Dostoevsky faced financial troubles throughout his career and often wrote under tight deadlines. His most famous work, "Crime and Punishment," was serialized in a magazine. To meet the deadlines, he had to write quickly, which is a remarkable feat given the novel's complexity and depth.

Unveiling the Essence: What is the Meaning of Life?
Introduction:
The age-old question of the meaning of life has intrigued philosophers, sages, and seekers for centuries. It is a query that transcends cultures, religions, and belief systems, touching the very core of our existence. In this exploration, we embark on a journey to unravel the profound essence of this timeless question.
Tumblr media
The Quest for Purpose:
From the moment we become aware of our existence, we seek purpose. It is a fundamental human longing to understand why we are here and what significance our lives hold in the grand tapestry of existence. This quest for purpose is deeply ingrained in our spiritual DNA, urging us to look beyond the surface of daily routines and dive into the depths of our being.
Diverse Perspectives, Universal Themes:
Throughout history, diverse cultures and belief systems have offered their unique perspectives on the meaning of life. From the concept of Dharma in Hinduism to the pursuit of Nirvana in Buddhism, and the call to fulfill one's mission in Existentialist philosophy, common threads emerge. These threads, woven into the fabric of our shared humanity, speak to a deeper truth that transcends the boundaries of time and space.
Beyond the Material Realm:
In a world often fixated on material pursuits, it is easy to lose sight of the spiritual dimension of our existence. The meaning of life extends beyond the accumulation of wealth, status, or possessions. It beckons us to explore the realms of consciousness, compassion, and interconnectedness with all living beings.
A Symphony of Connection:
Consider, for a moment, the intricate symphony of existence. The harmonious dance of planets, the delicate balance of ecosystems, and the intricate web of human relationships all point to a profound interconnection. Could it be that the meaning of life lies in recognizing and honoring this inherent oneness?
Awakening to Conscious Evolution:
As conscious beings, we possess the remarkable capacity to reflect, grow, and evolve. It is through this conscious evolution that we unearth deeper layers of meaning. It calls for self-awareness, introspection, and a willingness to transcend the limitations of ego-driven desires.
Living with Intention:
To embark on a meaningful journey, one must embrace intentionality. Living with purpose means aligning our actions, thoughts, and choices with our inner truth. It is about nurturing virtues such as love, compassion, gratitude, and empathy, which serve as guiding stars on our path.
Conclusion: Embracing the Journey:
The meaning of life is not a fixed destination, but a dynamic and ever-unfolding journey. It invites us to embrace the fullness of our existence, to seek deeper understanding, and to live with authenticity and intention. In this pursuit, we find that the meaning of life is not a singular answer, but a mosaic of experiences, connections, and moments of transcendence.
As we navigate this labyrinth of existence, let us remember that the very act of questioning, seeking, and reflecting is a testament to the richness and depth of our human experience. May we walk this path with open hearts and minds, ever eager to uncover the profound truths that await us.

The Things We Leave Unsaid
The things we leave unsaid, isn't that normally what happens? As we go about our daily lives we often leave things unsaid; the things that if said, can bring us more peace. The things we leave unsaid that we wish had been said.
Talking things out around illness
Also, there are things we want to say, but the opportunity isn't there and if it is, we dare not say for fear of offending. Even if it's not something that offends, we're not sure whether the other person will be ready to hear what we want to say. Around illness that becomes even more difficult.
Being able to say how you feel is important Words shouldn't be intimidating, they should always be caring, compassionate and empathetic. Self-expression is important, particularly when circumstances change and time is not on your side, particularly around a loved ones terminal illness.
Sometimes it's not down to us, or our fault. When it comes to a terminal illness, not everyone with the illness, is ready to talk about the things that may affect us after their passing and that's not on us.

The verdict of society
We wear a mask and play a role, But what do they truly know?
Do they see the pain we hide, Or just the mask we wear with pride?
The thoughts of others we can't control, But in our hearts, we must be whole.
For only then can we be free, Unbound by what they think of thee.

When I envision what our world is becoming. I see smiles, naked bums, hands towards the sky and rainbow gazing over the valley. I see human coming together to experience what Life is about. I see us coming from various path and meeting at the center of our soul. Honoring the earth, the land and what it provides us... Free and aware, learning from mistakes, teaching our pairs, working on ourselves, changing perspectives, seeing with new eyes and coming back to gratitude after each day. Going to bed feeling fulfilled, soar and happy and open in our heart space. I see harmonized, whole, complete, embodied and united beings ready to explore, transform, empower, expand and share their unique gift out there without shame, culpability or doubt... Or at least, working towards it with bare hands on the ground and muddy soil with the innertruth that everything is impermanant and light is just around the next corner of change. Because yes, things happen and we all touch suffering from time to time, but what remains after all is faith and alchemisation into creativity. Let's make art, let's embrace without fear, let's share our beauty and body without thinking and let's connect to one and each other, with the earth and nature. 🍂🌿⚘🌼
