Ok but. What is the Loop situation in this AU. Do they have one? Are they still an ex-siffrin? Much to think about

I have some plans for Loop BUT THAT'S FOR LATER. No scene or plot relevant things will be shared right now. I did get a lot of asks on them tho (like A LOT, the ones above are only some of it the interest in this au never ceases to amaze me) so I'll give you crumbs while you wait.

- They are still Start Again Siffrin, the ex-looping sif.

- Loop and Siffrin have basically no shared memories: Sif remembers things from before the game, (Mirabelle's "Do you remember when you said this quest was the happiest you've ever been?", would be genuinely remembered by Siffrin even on loop 100) while Loop remembers a livelong number of travels to The House that never happen to Siffrin, since the whole party looping drastically changes their approach with the traveler.

- Loop refers to no one by name. Mirabelle is the housemaiden, Bonnie is the Kid, Isabeau is the Fighter, Siffrin is the traveler, Odile is the researcher. But if everyone bonds enough with them Loop will give them 'cuter' and 'fonder' nicknames, none of which is stardust.

- If a party member interacts with them alone instead of in the group (which is possible in some events) Loop attitude and dialogue options change drastically.

I am forever salty that Bun Bun Mario Battle was never given a proper release anywhere outside of Satellaview. Not necessarily because of the gameplay, admittedly, but because it has some of the cutest art and it’s criminal that it’s fallen into such heavy obscurity.

"So there's something I've noticed when I'm walking around campus sometimes. My hearing's kinda sensitive even when I'm not using my stigma--super annoying since I hate noise. But sometimes, even if there's no one around or I can count the people around I hear someone I can't see.

"Not talking but like. Their heartbeat. Or their breathing. Or their footsteps. Or some combination. It's way more obvious when I'm using my stigma but I swear I hear it even without it, if it's quiet enough. Feels like I hear it more if I'm near that gross forest--but it can be anywhere on campus.

"Obviously you'd think it's just one of the cats or some anomaly or whatever but human heartbeats and breathing patterns are different from animals' and anomalies'. Some anomalies can imitate them yeah but this is way too consistent to be some anomaly. There's definitely someone there, especially when it's dark. Creep.

"Thing is I don't think it's me they're after. I think we just happen to be around a lot of the same places. A lot of paths crossing wherever it's interesting, you know? Like we both wanna know what's going on but no one will tell us. So we just figure it out ourselves however we can.

random question mostly for oc making, but what would it look like for two different species (bluple, elves, unicorns, etc.) to have children together? is it even *possible* for unicorns to have children with another species?

Hybridized humanoids of all sorts exist, littered throughout the world.

It's more common that you see full blooded people rather than mixed, especially for races that have particular lifestyles that aren't always understood well by other races, such as plant people, or races that are not genetically compatible with most others, such as normals. There are few places in Theia that have very diverse communities of people, so typically most towns or villages you pass through will be largely inhabited by just one or sometimes two prominent kinds of people.

Unicorns can definitely reproduce with other kinds of people, though their offspring typically lacks horns no matter how much they may take after their unicorn parent. There are very few true unicorns left in the world, and there are more half-unicorns than true. Some people out there have slivers of unicorn in them without even realising.

It's hard to say exactly what any hybrid offspring would look like, because genetics play a huge role in what's expressed. But maybe I'll draw some examples up in the near future just for fun :3.
