Happy birthday in Heaven, Talia. She would be 24 today.

Here is the tribute event to memorialize her in 2013. It’s been ten years. Time sure flies…

I’m going to let this go, but I will continue to paint my toenails mint every summer in memory of her.

I  know I should have posted this yesterday (the 18th), but I still wanted to make a post yesterday should have been Talia's 18th birthday. Talia I love you so so so much. All the time I wonder what you would have been like today, and what you would have accomplished. What celebrities make up would you be doing? I am so sorry all of that was taken from you!

Today I feel #good I’m #grateful the doctors have adjusted my medicine and my pain was manageable I also created #awesome #memories with my friends I always feel like whenever I have a great day that you are involved @taliajoy18 And every #Christmas I keep you with me close to my heart! It’s been 10 years since I saw the Facebook post that brought me to tears.

10 years since this precious child breathed her last.

Let’s end cancer. It’s ended too many young lives.

“It is with a heavy heart that we share with all of you that Talia has earned her wings at 11:22am. Please lift her beautiful soul, her beautiful light to heaven and please send your love and prayers to her family during this most difficult time. God speed little one, may you be free from pain and suffering, may your soul feel the light and love that you brought to so many of us on this Earth during the short time you were her with us. We will miss you more than you will ever know baby girl.”

I can’t believe it’s been nine years since Talia took her last breath.

Talia Joy Castellano tried to put a face on childhood cancer and encourage people to focus more research on it.

She loved makeup and fashion.

She was hilarious.

She was only 13. Too young.

The world is darker without her.
