Tundukkan Hati

Belakangan sedang sering merapal doa agar Allah tundukkan hati semata hanya untuk menyembahnya. Bukan tanpa sebab tentunya.

Seiring berkembangnya zaman, dunia seakan menjadi monster menakutkan saat hati tak siap membedakan. Mana yang patut dipeluk dan mana yang harusnya dihempas sebelum menjadi petaka kehidupan.

Sadar atau tidak, perlahan hati mulai tunduk dikuasai dunia. Yang fana dan sementara sifatnya, namun begitu berharga di pelupuk mata. Ketakutan untuk tidak mendapatkan apa-apa membuat seringnya langkah dipilih tanpa berpikir akibatnya.

Sedih dan ngeri, jika hati yang sejatinya harus diisi oleh ketaatan pada Allah semata. Malah kalah dan tunduk pada pernak-pernik dunia yang bahkan harganya tak melebihi sayap seekor nyamuk.

Ini nasehat untuk diri sendiri. Lebih berhati-hati menyeleksi mana yang harus memasuki hati, dan mana yang cukup sampai di tangan ini.

Kelak semuanya akan dihisab. Bahkan tulisan ini.

Praise God! We are blown away by what He is doing! I was happy with a handful of people to minister to. Christ had different plans. God has put me on mission to connect people to Jesus through daily prayer, daily time in the Bible, and in community at a local church. It is an absolute honor to impact anyone.
