‘Justice League: Warworld’ Cast Unveiled (Exclusive)

The Justice League is going to war. The upcoming summer animated home entertainment release Justice League: Warworld has unveiled its cast, which is toplined by Jensen Ackles as Batman/Officer Wayne, Stana Katic as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince and Darren Criss as Superman/Agent Kent. Warner Bros. Animation, DC and Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment are behind the project. The official synopsis reads: “Until now, the Justice League has been a loose association of superpowered individuals. But when they are swept away to Warworld, a place of unending brutal gladiatorial combat, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and the others must somehow unite to form an unbeatable resistance able to lead an entire planet to freedom.”

The cast also includes Ike Amadi as Martian Manhunter/J’onn J’onzz, Troy Baker as Jonah Hex, Matt Bomer as Old Man, Roger C. Cross as Machiste, Brett Dalton as Bat Lash, Trevor Duvall as Drifter, John DiMaggio as Lobo, Robin Atkin Downes as Mongul, Frank Grillo as Agent Faraday, Rachel Kimsey as Mariah Romanova, David Lodge as Sheriff, and Damian O’Hare as Deimos and Teddy Sears as Warlord. EDIT to add: This was originally post 2 of a 2 post series. tl;dr: Davrin's VA follows (and occasionally engages with) a BUNCH of the worst of the worst of the ultra-right-wing, ultra-anti-LGBT, specifically-trans-hostile, bigoted social media sphere. Andrew Tate, LibsofTikTok, Jordan Peterson, you name it he's at LEAST followed if not engaged. (at one point he was also anti-vax and anti-mask)

i'm legitimately crushed about this stuff with Davrin's VA. I was absolutely, for CERTAIN, going to romance the character but now that I know whose voice it is making those words, I can't - and especially when you choose to associate yourself with something as hateful as a couple of the accounts he interacts with, the company you keep becomes part of you, and I CAN NOT "separate the character from the actor". The actor is literally their voice. They're inextricably linked.

I'm not gonna be shit to Davrin in game. I'm not. But it crushes me that people are like this, and I'm gobsmacked that a) a game billing itself as progressive would hire someone like that, and b) no one seems to give a rat's ass.

because i'm pretty sure the subtitle says "nadas dirthalen", and that's. that's not how i'd. say that, lol

(it makes sense lore-wise tho, the elves did lose a lot of their language and many of the Dalish have American accents in canon, so it's fitting, if sad that they would have troubles even just pronouncing Elvish, but I'm also just saying that with affection and a tiny bit of smugness)
