By the way, I finally played Warframe 1999 and I have to say, having to choose between Quincy and Arthur is the hardest thing i've ever had to do in this game.

Stephen Lang movie of the week(s) is: The Hard Way (1991)

A buddy cop comedy featuring Michael J. Fox and James Woods that I have NOT seen yet, but I've heard it's definitely worth watching for Lang's character.

So this is the watch club's movie for the next two weeks (January 13 to January 26). Feel free to watch it whenever you can and share any thoughts or feelings or whatever. And if anyone wants to suggest a movie feel free to do so, I'm just picking from his filmography at random pretty much...

Well I finally did it... I rewatched "the way of water". Last time I saw it was December 31st, 2022, in theaters and, despite how crazy I got about Avatar, I haven't rewatched it since. In fact, I was afraid to... Because I was afraid it would bring back very bad memories, since everything started going wrong after that (literally I spent the night of January 1st 2023 in a hospital waiting room and that was just the beginning of the end)

But... It didn't. It made me happy. Well, it also gave me the usual post-Avatar depression that everyone gets after being forced to return to reality, where one can't ride flying dragons, but otherwise it was nice to reconnect to the source material at last...

Now if you'll excuse me, I have at least one WIP I need to blow the dust off and continue...

(I'm posting this in the tag for visibility, but I already posted it in the community)

Here's the details:

Every 2 weeks we agree on a movie or a show

Each person watches it independently, whenever you want/can

We share any thoughts or opinions or reactions here on tumblr! Remember to use the #StephenLang tag, which I assume most of us here follow

There's really no rules, other than be civil... This is supposed to be a very casual thing, in fact if you couldn't watch the movie or show it's fine also, honestly... It's just an excuse to watch movies from a great character actor whom we love...

So, for our first 2 weeks (from the 30th of December to the 12th of January) I propose...

Avatar 1 and 2!

I know that's two movies, but I thought it'd be appropriate since a lot of us have done or were going to do a holiday re-watch in the anniversary of the release... So you can watch one or the other, or both, and post about it, or don't, it's up to you just have fun with it.

I'm going to assemble a list of movies for the year but I'm 100% open to suggestions, if there's one particular movie or show you've been meaning to check out, let me know and we'll do it next. The guy's got a long and interesting filmography so there's plenty to pick from.
