Welcome to the Velvet Room- here's a compilation of all my hc designs for the Velvet Room attendees and "leader" I know they all look pretty similar, but like most of them are siblings to each other (minus Marie and Igor) the gang is all here

Six new fan concepts (Including first concept of Igor)

here is a compilation of new concepts. the first concept is Ari in one of his casual attires and a blue butterfly. the second one features Dai, concept 3, 4, and 5 are Hana. one of them is a shadow version of her. concept 3 actually reveals that she will have black hair in the epilogue of the story. the fifth concept shows Hana in the dark with a puppet shadow behind her.

I was going to use the image for another Reincarnation track on the P6 IP soundtrack but i couldn't find a remix anywhere. and last but not least, the first fan concept of Igor for P6.

what if persona 5/5r was an allegory? and specifically with the color red

okay so for those not in the know an allegory is its where everything is symbolic in a piece of media, in this case i would like to propose its p5’s main color, red. just pls hear me out

(my credentials are me playing since middle school bear with me)

p5 and maybe p5r spw - like all up to endgame

ik a lot of ppl use the color red as this game bc its obvs a game about rebellion but i would like to go deeper than that

red means a couple of things for p5, symbolically but also as a sort of foreshadow. symbolically it represents the metaverse, and themes of rebellion and fight. however, i like to think it foreshadows danger

also here - where the light comes off as red, is a foreshadow that they are near metaverse/danger territory (anyways color theory)

blue typically represents safety and security right? you can see blue all around igor and in the fog surrounding him. but when you look above joker, the velvet room is this reddish hue, which if youve played previous games, is weird because say p4 for example, the room is ALL blue.

its like the red represents if joker goes past the false sense of safety, itll lead to danger and destruction (which is proven to be true bc its essentially a fake velvet room!) also the blue only stops at jokers height, like he wont be able to fight/reach it!

if joker goes past surface level then hes promised with alarms, threats and ultimately destruction (allegedly).

this may also be a stretch i would also like to point out in this image that the chains look like theyre nearly crossing his heart. (anyways)

BUT! as we quite famously know - jokers ALWAYS associated with red, in his outfit, his friends, arsené. so not only is harnessing rebellion and the willingness to fight, but to specifically accept the danger and harness it! especially the main trio (joker ryuji and ann) theyre all red because they CHOSE to fight instead of ignorance and to spark this idea, thats what their idea of rebellion was. ik this applies for other characters but i like to emphasize them bc they were the VERY first and where the ppl to inspire everyone else.

In a YouTube video discussing Persona 5 Headcanons, someone joked that the velvet room attendances are all Igor's children via asexual reproduction.

Like, Igor just laid an egg and out they came.
