#If he didn't lose this ability his life would've been so much easier

ok but Caleb saying " I do not want to rob my son of his life" is heartbreaking.
It so bittersweet that he sees him like a son especially since he never got to meet his own child. I really love the scene where he gives hunter his cloak when he puts him to sleep, I think he would've been a good dad...
Tumblr media
The way I've written Caleb's fatherhood-ness is this:
He was a parental-figure brother to Philip, but he was a child himself when he started doing that. I am sure Caleb grew painfully aware that he wasn't equipped to take care of Philip; 'nor in maturity or ability, but what's the alternative? There isn't one. You do what you gotta do with the knowledge and power you have.
Which means he probably didn't raise Philip exemplarily. You can blame the adult-Caleb for not adjusting to it; but then you're asking him to control his brother with a whole new set of rules and reshape their set and working dynamic, which is easier said than done with a teenage little brother. And you cant really blame child-Caleb for not knowing better.
Caleb acts quickly on his fears or intuitions out of terror that things can escalate for the worse. He thinks he knows best because that's who he had to be, regardless of if he actually does knows best. He never had anyone to turn to, he just had to figure it out on the fly.
I think his worst bully is hindsight, and although he acts out of love (embraced by fear) he, too, can see retroactively that his actions are at best clumsy and at worst consequential.
Nobody's perfect, I don't think he would've been a perfect dad (just as there are no ideal person or people, people are just.. people! trying their best) But I do think he'd be a very loving one. And for someone like Hunter, I think that's pretty much all Hunter wished for.
But yes, I think Caleb, with the person he discovered himself to be in the BI, is someone who would do a good job as a dad. He does care, he does love. Even if it kind of comes out like a hiccup and a slap on the back that's a little too rough.
centuries of watching his doppelganger (sons) live their lives I'm sure he also picked up on a few things to advise them on. He's better on giving advise as an observer than being the one to interfere. (clearly)
But all in all, I think he is very proud of Hunter and already considers himself a father to him. Hunter is, technically, his flesh and blood.
My version of Caleb is a very flawed person. His fatherhood and continues attempt to be a martyr or take on all the load is.. also.. Reflective on the Noceda family trauma of losing Manny.
Luz and Camila both try to shoulder the burdens in the family. Wanting to be the one who makes life easier for the other.
Caleb sees and recognises this, especially in Camila. That's why he seemingly hold no qualms in laying out the hard cold cards for Luz the way he did in chapter Modern Times.
Anyway, I like Caleb. At least the way I write him. He's a little scatter-brained and wheezing, but dangit he's pulling the plot onwards. :'D

my BODY is MY CREATION!
call me god, call me frankenstein, call me sculptor, call me creator because i am taking what i am owed i am shaping creating making myself over in the image of adam, i will rid myself of this extra rib called longing and i will be bloody and pure and new as i am born again in the body i forged for myself.
INTRODUCING christopher "kit" warren an original character based in the dc comics universe. he is portrayed by jordan gonzalez.
christopher "kit" warren is the civilian identity of the vigilante known as PORTAL, a twenty-six year old meta-human with the ability to warp or teleport short distances (safely). outside of hero work, he's an independent video game developer and graphic designer, though the latter job is more for bringing in a semi steady flow of income rather than a job he does for pleasure. ideally, he'd love to have more time to work on games but he knows that that's not feasible at this point; both for the lack of income and because of his commitment to protect his community. being a hero comes first to him.
kit is originally from star city but moved away in his early twenties. his birth parents died when he was just a baby, his godfather, cole carpenter, took him in and raised him. his home life was fairly chill, he was well taken care of and never went without necessities but it was incredibly clear that cole wasn't prepared to raise a child. he still had growing up to do when he took kit in, since he was only in his early twenties and still hadn't even decided what he wanted to do in life. and while cole did his best, he was more of an older brother figure rather than the parental figure that kit needed.
that being said kit wouldn't change a single thing. he loves cole so much. that's his only real family. plus, there were perks to growing up with a young parent — rules tended to be lax, he had an easier time getting his way if he needed, and, once he was older, he could have fun spending time with his godfather doing things that they'd both enjoy. (one thing they would do together regularly was training at the gym where cole works. it started off as easy stuff, where kit was trying to mirror what cole was doing and gradually became more serious and branched off into kit begging cole to let him seriously train to become a fighter like he was. cole caved fairly fast.)
growing up he, like so many other children, loved superheroes. he'd play pretend with the other kids in his neighborhood and they'd all have their own hero identity (no one ever volunteered to be the villain, it was always more fun to be the good guys because they got all the perks). if anyone asked him during that time, he would've proudly told them that he wanted to be a hero when he grew up, he wanted to save people just like the heroes on the news. it wouldn't be until he was a little older that he'd realise his childish daydream could be reality. (his meta abilities would first manifest when he was around nine or ten, thus paving the way for his eventual decision to become a hero.)
being a meta was only a shock to kit himself, his godfather knew there was a chance he'd be one since both his parents were. the only thing he wouldn't have been able to predict was kit's abilities, which were nothing like his parents'. having a superpower was cool as hell to kit but it was terrible for cole; he now had to wrangle a superpowered child, who wasn't easily convinced that he shouldn't show off his power, and who was capable of evading him without putting much effort into it.
shortly after his abilities first manifested, kit came out to his godfather which caused cole to become more protective of him. he enrolled kit into self defense classes, alongside the training he was already doing with kit, to make sure that kit was able to defend himself when he was on his own. he wasn't about to lose his kid because some asshole didn't approve of his identity.
cole had no way of knowing that kit was going to use those skills when he would sneak out at night, taking his first steps as a hero in his neighborhood. he should've expected it, he really should've, given how serious kit was about becoming a hero but it still nearly gave him a heart attack when he found out. not even because kit told him, no he saw something, when he was reading the news, about a new meta hero that popped up in star city... who appeared to be pretty young (there was questions about how safe it is for a kid to be fighting crime)... and who could seemingly teleport.... and he didn't have to be a genius to figure out that that was HIS idiot teenage wannabe hero. needless to say kit was grounded for a couple weeks after cole found out and they had to have a long discussion about safety and why he shouldn't keep going out, even though cole knew that it wouldn't stop kit from going out. unfortunately.
as he got older he got cockier. he'd investigate riskier cases, he'd patrol outside of his neighborhood, and he stopped trying to stay under the radar of other heroes and vigilantes that happened to be in star city.
at twenty-six years old he's a fairly well established vigilante (& if the whole no metas in gotham fanon rule thing exists, than he's pretty regularly breaking that rule because? he doesn't give a shit about what batman says. he can't stop him.)

jack versus kai
part 1, part 2, part 3
third & final part of the "kickin' it in china" analysis! our boy fights for his life on the great wall of china.
TW for light discussion of ptsd & trauma; once again, it's all nonspecific.
jack fighting for his future
very tiny thing but jack going to congratulate kai is STUPID because he didn't earn it & jack of all people wouldn't be able to let go of that but i don't have much to say about it. i understand that they needed a reason for him to approach to see the tattoo lol. would've been awkward if dude was just. watching kai hug his buddies. lmfao.
anyway jack's strong sense of justice is what starts this fight. not only does he know that what's happened to him is unfair, he now also knows that kai was behind it. i genuinely think he'd have a much easier time letting go of the fact that he had to forfeit if he didn't find out kai put those guys up to it, because that fact just adds another level of wrongness to it. jack would approach him with the most threatening, silent fury, & that anger would override his trauma-rooted anxiety about confronting him.
to jack's credit though, he doesn't throw the first punch. he most likely just wanted to show kai that he knew he was afraid of him, & being aware of that that was probably enough for him to find that closure he'd been seeking ever since kai beat him. he already won the fight because his opponent didn't want to have to fight him.
on top of the fight itself being super cool, jack is fighting for more than just his own safety here! he's not just facing kai, he's facing his past while also chasing the future in karate he's wanted since childhood. martial arts is really important to him & he's finally been able to practice it in a way that doesn't make him feel miserable, surrounded by friends who actually enjoy his company & support him—not to mention the growing father-son bond he's been developing with rudy! this new jack has something to fight for now, people he cares about, & a future to look forward to. he knows he can't back down to kai here, & for the first time, he doesn't want to.
i like that this is one of the longer fights in the show, too. jack & kai are roughly on the same level, so it makes sense for jack to struggle to get the upper hand, while also literally fighting with a broken hand. i have stuff to say about jack's alarmingly impressive adaptability in combat, but that's for another time.
jack sparing him is obviously an "intense disney channel moment" type thing, but i do think there's something to be said about how he still does what he thinks is right. he knew he won the fight when kai had to beg for his life lmao. i like it. he still whoops kai after he punches his broken hand too, so good for him!
conclusion
because of his ptsd, jack would have a chronic & irrational fear of losing because of kai. not necessarily failure, just losing. he's afraid that every match he loses is going the end the same way his loss to kai did: he'll end up extremely injured, & the people that he cares about will turn him away. that's why he has to do better. he has to win all of his matches, & he has to keep training.
defeating kai leaves jack feeling the most fulfilled he's probably ever felt in his life LOL. it would take a long time to set in, but it also wouldn't cure that ptsd he has. it would, however, leave him feeling satisfied & proud of himself, especially after kim & rudy would definitely express how proud they are of him, too. he'd feel a lot more confident in his abilities because he took down the first & only guy to have ever beaten him so badly.
this win gives jack what he needs to keep moving forward, now more confident than ever. it doesn't matter that kai gets to keep the trophy because jack's the one who won this time, and he knows that. that's all he needs.

Trail of the Warriors of Darkness - A Tempered Cry
Following the seeming peace in Ishgard, the arrival of an injured Alisaie shocked Nemi even more out of her stupor. Who would target a child this way?!
Also, someone get Thancred pants. Mainly writing under cut. I didn't take much screenshots despite my interest in this story.
Tumblr media
Meeting the so called "Warriors of Darkness," Nemi demanded answers on their callousness to her group if they also just aimed to slay primals. They left without real answers, and the healer amongst their midst giving her a strange dread.
When the warriors disclosed the tragedy befelling the First and their deal with the Ascians, Nemi was surprised at Alphinaud claiming their tale was superfluous. It did sound extremely unlikely, but what benefit could there be to making a fiction? They were just overall mysterious. And Urianger acted, more distant even as they got back in contact with Yda and Papalymo.
When Nemi got to meet Minfilia again... or what was left of her, she tried to list so many things only the real Minfilia could answer, but that were ignored to tell of the of the shards.. Nemi had never been truly religious, but to see devotion make you willing to lose yourself... Was Hydaelyn truly so powerless she had to divest a mortal to the chances of her life? Though, this had been Minfilia's choice. She only hoped the truly knew what she was getting into. On the other hand, it did explain the silence after Hydaelyn revived Nemi in the praetorium... it did cost the energy of a life to save one, and necesitated another to recover strength.
Then, did her risk taking set Minfilia up? No, that's not it. That's a ridiculous thought.
Tumblr media
This didn't make what happened to Ga Bu any easier. Unlike Minfi, he didn't had a choice. He just took the risk of going to humans for help with the innocence and strong will of a young one, and suffered for having grief at the worst place at time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Though she knew the Storm generals kept their words, she still felt the urge to threaten them if something ever happened to the little child.
When the Warriors tried to take down the Scions definitely, and cried out in frustration and sorrow, Nemi was the first to bade everyone to stop and yelled at the leader to stop this ridiculousness. Though she felt sympathy for the, reach of their desperation, she couldn't help but bite her lip with harsh words on her tongue.
"You are not to blame for your lack of knowledge, but thinking the hand that cast you down would save you? Unless Elidibus lied, you should have known better."
Even Alphinaud was shocked at this anger, but Nemi would not disclose the personal hurdles behind this attitude. The Warriors of Darkness looked more despodent, but fortunately Urianger could summon the gateway Hydaelyn and Minfilia had instructed him to do: usher them back and lend their energies to Minfilia to stop the flood. In her warmth and shrewd planning, Nemi saw that the leader of the Scions was not totally gone after all. With a serious but vivacious smirk she pointed at the leader and chuckled.
"You've gotten the best of us. Better make it count."
The leader gasped surprised and nodded, taking off with an unspoken apology in his eyes.
Though Urianger's deception hurt, she... understood. If it was the Ascian Elidibus himself who got him wrapped in this mess, his life would've been on the line and they could be none the wiser. Though his ability to lie made her decide to not underestimate the man.

your mind!!!! like jan returning has SO MUCH angst potential. since she led her follows into the sun would that mean she got sentanced to death in the well? would nandor try to help her escape in a parallel to guillermo and derek? what if jan wanted revenge on guillermo for ruining her thing? how complicated nandor's feelings would be if he or nadja had to kill jan to protect guillermo? much to think about. much to cry about.
And anon, you are forgetting about my favorite angsty part! Nandor wasn't just fond of Jan at the Wellness Center. He was friends with everyone there. Like just think about when Guillermo was wreaking havoc in there. He knew them all by name! He was begging Guillermo not to hurt them because he cared about them!
And Jan literally just murdered all of them.
So I think the sense of betrayal he would have would be so great. The sense of disillusionment a lot of ex-cult members have is truly one of the worst parts, I think? Like, it feels good to have faith in something. To have a sense of community. To really believe in something and feel that it can help you. When that's betrayed, you don't just have to deal with the fallout from the actual physical problems caused to you. You also have to deal with this perversion of faith, trust, hope, and community. You kind of lose your ability to believe in things and people. It's a really terrible thing to take from someone, especially people who tend to be fairly lost in some way before they reach out to these groups to start with.
It's funny because if I didn't know that Jan was a normal vampire, I would think for sure she's an energy vampire. She really feeds off the adulation and perversion of hope. idk if you noticed all the photos in her office, but let's just say she's headed up a LOT of new religious movements over the years. lmao
Truthfully, I feel like Nandor would lash out at Guillermo at first because he was indirectly responsible for Jan deciding to kill everyone, but it would be a displaced aggression that would eventually leave him when he comes to terms with the fact that Jan would've happily killed him, too, had he stayed. It's just easier to be angry at Guillermo than Jan or himself, even if it's unfair. And it's easier to blame Guillermo for the violent dissolution of a community he cared about rather than admit that it was always founded on unsteady ground. (And honestly, we've seen a lot of evidence that Nandor finds Guillermo to be a convenient and comfortable scapegoat over the course of the series, especially when he's dealing with feelings he doesn't care to understand.)
I am imagining it all now... The anger to cover up the hurt... The eventual realization that he'd built this place up in his head because he couldn't bear to fix his real life... That all his happiness had been an illusion... "I'd rather have you alive and hating me than dead with the rest of them"... oh, my heart...
I just want to torture Nandor sometimes, perhaps as revenge for making me write so much meta about him and his very confusing motivations. And as revenge for the giant fucking fic I'm writing about him now.
Maybe I will write it... eventually... I already think I know how I want it to go, and what I'd want Jan's eventual fate to be...
(I actually love her as a character, but boy does she suck in-universe. lmao. No pun intended.)

HI DARLINGGGG 😍😍😍😍😍💕💕💕💕💕💕! Thank you for the request HEWHEW I LOVE this kind of storyline 👀👀👀👀💕💕💕💕💕! Oh, FYI, I made this story into two parts! Turns out that my story is too long to the point I have to split it 🤣 @ikemen-girl
Retrieve That Smile Again (Part 1)
Pairing: IkeSen Ieyasu x MC (Reader)
Type: One Shot
Rated: Angst + Fluff
❤💛🧡❤💛🧡❤💛🧡❤💛🧡❤💛🧡❤
SLAP!!
"..Don't touch me with your filthy hands."
Frozen ice.
That is the best word, the perfect word to describe the air within the council hall right now.
His fellow warlords, even his lord, were utterly speechless with the scene in front of them. Her, in the middle of the room, staring down coldly at him, whose cheek is burning from her slap; a slap that is... No, it is an unexpected thing that caught him off guard, enough to make him lose his balance and stumble backwards from the impact.
"Enough with your contrary words; nothing but a mere facade-- there is no need to proof anything anymore, with what you have caused, with what you have made me the way I am right now."
Her grimness changed impromptu the moment she turned to Nobunaga, "Now, if you would excuse me. I would like to begin my journey to Kasugayama, Nobunaga."
She walked pass him, the bewildered Ieyasu, before Nobunaga give his approval.
......
"Ieyasu.. Are you.."
Hideyoshi stops himself, clenching his fists tightly until it turns white. "She.. Has really changed."
"Our pure, lively Chatelaine. To a cold, ruthless Princess." Mitsuhide added, shrugging to his lord, "She, someone who hesitate to end one's life, wouldn't think twice to do it now."
"...It's my fault." Ieyasu started, gritting his teeth. "For pushing her away back then."
"Indeed you are." Nobunaga scoffed, "It has damaged her so much on the inside few months back."
Really.
She was broken back then.
----
"I know I am just a nuisance to you- n-no- I AM a nuisance, even from the beginning.. But- Ieyasu, I--"
She pursed her quivering lips, hands clenching on her kimono tightly as she continued, "M-my feelings are true. This is not for the spur of the moment, just because you gave me that earrings back then, f-for my reward in practising archery of course..! A-and-"
"....Can you make it quick? I don't have all day." He huffed, rolling his eyes and look away from her, making her more flustered than ever. "I- I'm sorry..! What I'm trying to say is..!"
She can do this..! She can do this..! She chanted the spell within her thumping chest; this is the hopeless feelings that she had bloomed for him. To her, Ieyasu had done a lot for her, and love has slowly emerge to the surface, of where, it had been born just from feeling greatful towards him.
She have been in love with him, oh for how long. She even choose him over her future in her era, just to be with him. She even stayed until the end, until Nobunaga's army make an alliance with Kenshin and Shingen. So she must do this..! This is the main purpose of why she chose to stay..!
"I- I love you..! From the bottom of my heart..!"
A sniff escapes from her lips-- finally she said it..! After all this time..! She had successfully gather the last bit of her courage to--
"...Are you done?"
....Eh?
"...H-Huh?"
"...I'm asking. Are you done?"
None.
There is no single, positive expression curved on his face. Nothing but a bored look, a tired, bored look that has been forced to do something out of his willingness.
"If there's nothing else, I will leave now."
"W-wait..! Ieyasu..! What do you think of me? What is your answer?"
"Answer? What are you talking about?"
"But I just-"
"Just what?"
No.. Please. Even if he is the type to say the opposite of what he really means, this is not really the time to act that way.
"What..? An answer to your confession? What do you want it to be?"
"I didn't mean it like that, I--"
"If you expect me to say 'Thank You', or 'Yes', you are wrong. Even if we have gained an alliance, I don't have time for love right now."
"Oh- of- of course." Of course..! Just what she have been hoping? He is a warlord, of course he wanted to focus on nothing but the future just like what Nobunaga wanted. Still..
Why does it hurt so much..?
Especially when..
He is smiling gently to the Princess from neighboring country? His hand wouldn't hesitate to hold hers, to guide her in the steps of the garden, to pardon her when she accidentally fell on his chest?
Ah, of course..!
He is showing a courtesy. For the sake of Nobunaga's image. Even if.. He..
Kissed her on the cheek, rubbing it after and hold her close to him, allowing her to rest her head on his shoulder-- and--
And--
"Mmmf..!!"
"MC..!"
Hideyoshi caught her in his arms as she fall to the side. "You..! Get some medicine from Ieyasu..!"
"No."
She immediately stop the latter from doing so, shaking her head with a wry smile. "I'm good, Hideyoshi. It's just.. I'm not feeling well, that's all."
"...You are, so much."
She had... Unconsciously refuse any intake within her body ever since then. The stress has been piled up, until her body rejects to almost everything. She even force herself to eat, but then again, her fingers made its way to her throat, shoving it by force until her knuckles were injured from her own teeth, so she can push the thing that she has eaten out from her body.
It's an endless cycle, she had stop seeing people altogether as well. She had been crying, sobbing into the night; into her own world, and she would sing to herself, repeating the same words over and over again;
"Why would you bring the good memories in my life when you pushed me away like this?"
Then she will cup her face, brimming her cheeks with endless flow of tears. Again, and again,.... And... Again, and again.
Until one day,
She had stepped out from the room, her tears is no longer there, her sadness has faded away, and.. It is as if she had been born once again.
MC cut her hair, filling her days with constant training, and mastering both long and short range weapons, as well as following the lords to battlefield.
Of where,...
Her ruthless side has surfaced.
She wouldn't hesitate to kill. She wouldn't think twice to give mercy, and there is no single tears nor pity for her enemies anymore. It is up to the point she made them terrified of her, especially when she bravely pointed a sword to any of the warlord's neck.
This matter had reached to Ieyasu, and he himself were astonished to her sudden change.
There was.. A lot of misunderstanding truthfully. But it was too late.
Though,
No matter how late it is, he must do whatever he can to stop any further unnecessary killings in the future.
Hence why, when he had tried to approach her, she had treated him to how he treated her.
Yes, she had changed.
...For the worse.
-----
"A misunderstanding, you say?" She snorted. "My, who would've thought our contrary lord would lie. A bad one at that."
She said it, not even bothering to lift her head and look at him. Just like how she used to be. She.. Always has this.. Sparkles in her eyes whenever he is talking to her. Sometimes he find her staring ahead, into the clear blue sky, taking all the ample time in the world while her long hair gently blown by the soft breeze. Then, when her name is called by someone, she would immediately turned her attention to them, curving a soft smile on her lips, and eyes will see nothing but that person.
She used to be like that, especially for him, someone that she had sincerely pour her hopeless love to. She sees him as if he is her everything, he is precious, and hold everything that she have in his hands; her heart.
And yet he broke it.
Therefore right now, he must save her. From the old pain, and herself.
"I was a fool."
He finally gets her attention.
"I pushed you away.. Yes, at that time I see nothing else but to seek for strength. More power, for myself. Love was never my priority nor focus-- it's not important for me. I think that I am weak, not enough to protect someone with my abilities."
"And-- if you think that I have a special relationship with the neighboring princess, you are wrong. I was the only suitable person to act as a decoy for her back then-- she was-- here, to escape from the arranged marriage she was appointed to. Her fiancee is too old for her, and so, in order not to rouse suspicions, and to make the fiancee believe it, Lord Nobunaga had agreed and chose me to act as her lover-- that is a-"
"..Are you done?"
What..?
"I said, are you done?"
"Are you done?" That is the same line he said to her at that time.
"I--"
"Alright, finally. Now if you would excuse me."
"Wait..! MC!"
He caught her by the hand, pulling her to face him again, "I know you won't accept my apology right now, and I know you are not fully healed from what I did to you, but please..!"
"....."
"Don't kill. Don't touch those weapons again. It's not for you. Those blood that were stained on your hand is not meant for you. For you to change drastically-- because of me-- I--" He grit his teeth when the whole reasons sinks into his heart, "Please just.. Stop."
"Easier said than done."
"MC--"
"What has been done is done. There is no point to return to something that is empty like a nuisance shell to everyone around her. Well, if it isn't anyone but me." She curved a smirk, yanking her wrist away from him, "It is a path I've chosen for myself. You see, Ieyasu.."
He watched her brush her growing hair to the side. Finding himself speechless to the grim in her orbs, "I was a fool too. I chose this era, and I promise that I will even kill for you. Just to be with you. But now," A chuckle left her, "I don't need to do for the sake of being with you. I'm sick of my past that is weak and a huge weight to everyone, so I decided to kill, even. without. you."
"....." He clench his fists, swallowing the lump in his throat,
"It's for the sake of one's survival, Honey." She winked before tapping his nose and walk away.
He was left alone at the castle gate, he could only see her go, and watch her from her back. The back that represents the fragile girl, and were replaced with a back of a warrior.
"...Then so be it."

Mutant ~ Webpril Day 26
Tumblr media
A/N: Peter sometimes wishes he was a normal kid, Bruce gets a bit passionate about his research, and Tony is just fed up. This one was a fun one to write. I didn't want to go for a battle scene which would've been my first thought, so instead I went for a little something else. I don't know much if anything about the X-Men, so I'm sorry if I did get anything wrong. I hope you enjoy it xx
~Read it on AO3
~Read it on FFN
“Sometimes I wish I wasn’t some sort of mutant. Sometimes, I just really wish I was a normal kid…”
Peter was sat face to face with Bruce, who wore a stilted expression on his face while he was trying incredibly hard to find a silver lining in being a mutate.
“Mutate, not mutant.” Bruce had explained the difference, courtesy of his latest research, and passionately and adamantly insisted that Peter belonged in the same category.
Mutants had the X gene, something Bruce had recently begun studying, courtesy of a gifted group of individuals called the X-Men. Their gifts were different to the remarkable qualities exhibited by the Avengers, however. As a mutate, Bruce, Steve - and now Peter - had attained their abilities by being exposed to an external factor like radiation, the serum, or a radioactive spider. Mutants were born with the X-Gene that gave them their abilities.
The whole conversation started when Bruce stumbled across Peter having a form of existential crisis in the common lounge area. Usually at the late hour of two o’clock in the morning, nobody else was seen outside of their rooms, so Peter took the space as an extension of his own. So, it was to Peter’s surprise to see Bruce - usually so sensible about regulating his own circadian rhythm - up and around the complex.
“Mutant, mutate, it doesn’t matter, it’s not like there’s much difference anyways.” Peter sighed. “It’s not like I can just take a month off of superhero duties or stop looking out for my neighborhood to have a movie night on a Friday.”
“You had this thrust on you pretty young. It’s not easy, I know, but it’s an inevitable part of your life now. Take it from the guy who fought against his reality for years; the sooner you can accept your new reality, the easier your future is going to be.” Bruce smiled sadly, sympathy dripping from his expression. Bruce had been an adult by the time the gamma incident created the Hulk, and while he could understand Peter’s mourning at the suddenness at which his life had changed in a way Peter could have ever expected, Bruce didn’t lose his adolescent years to his...condition.
“Yeah, I know.” Peter buried his face in his hands for a moment before standing up to grab a soda from the fridge. “You want anything?” Peter offered.
“No, I’m alright, thank you.” Bruce gestured, holding up his steaming mug of black tea as an answer.
Peter chose a can of Coca Cola that Clint thought he hid well in the back of the fridge. Normally, Peter wouldn’t have taken from the other Avenger’s stash, but it was revenge for when Clint stole Peter’s last Fruit Roll-Up and tried to lie about it. The investigation hadn’t lasted long; Tony had grabbed footage from F.R.I.D.A.Y and the truth had soon been exposed.
The second Peter cracked the can of soda with soft hiss, a disembodied vocal yawn emerged from around the corner.
Stumbling into the living room was Tony, empty mug in hand, still in his charcoal grey dress shirt and suit pants from the long hours of meetings the afternoon prior.
“My God, Tony, do you ever sleep?” Bruce looked over from his newly claimed spot on the black leather chaise lounge.
“God, it’s a party in here…” Tony huffed. He was hoping he’d have the space to himself to have some peace and quiet before he turned in for the night. That card wasn’t exactly on the table anymore. “Hey kid, d’you mind turning the machine on?”
Peter wasn’t sure if Tony purposefully disregarded Bruce’s comment, or if the lack of coffee and sleep were causing a brain fog too thick for his words to penetrate. Peter went through the motions of refilling the coffee machine, and the brief silence was quickly broken by the loud screaming of coffee beans being ground into a powder.
Tony leaned over the countertop, bracing himself on his elbows and dropped his head in his hands, ruffling his hair. When he stood back up straight again, he looked just that little bit more like a disgruntled pigeon.
Both Peter and Bruce were waiting for Tony to offer an explanation, and they both unconsciously let out a breath of air they didn’t know they were holding when Tony finally began. “Did you know S.H.I.E.L.D is one of the most incompetent organizations to ever exist? Like, ever?” Tony turned to face Bruce. “Remember that conversation we had about the X-People…? X-Guys…? Whatever the hell they were called. Anyways, turns out that they thought it was okay and failed to mention that they are under S.H.I.E.L.D’s jurisdiction now. So that little 5 v 6 we had the other week,” Tony unconsciously flexed his left wrist, still feeling pins and needles shooting through his joints from where part of a building collapsed on top of it while he was mid-flight, “equates to nothing more than a elementary school playground brawl to them. Not to mention the damages I now have to pay for because Fury acts like he doesn’t have a dollar to his name. Thanks, kid.”
Peter watched in silence as Tony grasped the mug of coffee Peter had filled for him like a lifeline. He could see the way his hand trembled faintly from a likely combination of sleep deprivation, stress, and the usual much higher than recommended daily caffeine intake.
“Relax Tony, if the X-Men are under S.H.I.E.L.D’s jurisdiction, there’s nothing we can do now. If anything, it’ll make doing my research easier.”
“How’s your little mutate project going anyways, Banner?”
“We went over this for an hour yesterday Tony,” Bruce groaned. “Mutant, not mutate.”
“I know, I just like to see you bent out of shape. Although, please, don’t...actually bend out of shape.” Tony smirked. It was a game for him, sometimes, to see how quickly he could get under his teammates’ skin.
“Screw you, Tony,” Bruce shot back unconvincingly, humour lacing his riposte.
Peter couldn’t help himself but laugh.

Hey guys :)
Maybe I'm going chronological for one time, so I can sort my thoughts easier.
Yeah, Goldie's much mire active than I would've thought, too. But they did all those things to keep me alive and kind of save, since we still don't know who they are exactly working against. (I mean, we don't know who Goldie exactly is either, but you get my point)
Honestly, I am pretty sure the TSB timeline is continuing, at least if my theory that Goldie just set me back in an alternate timeline is true. In this case I feel sorry for TSB, though..Extremely sorry. He still was 'my' Jake back then, even though he acted weird in the end (maybe was manipulated by entities). I mean, if what he wrote was true he went with authorities. And in the end..this could've been his downfall.
And yeah, maybe I'm not exactly safe, but I just have to go back. If I go, and if I lose my job, I have some things to sort out. And Jake luckily agreed with me that clearing up my desk isn't the worst thing I can do before leaving. We're still thinking about a location, which I could luckily deside myself. Max agreed on that. Even though he still has some doubts. (I mean, of course...His cousin opened the door with bruises all over her face.) He did promise to not ask any questions until I feel ready, though. That gives myself and Jake some time to figure that out.
And also, Jake is right! We have three Jakes and three smart people. YUVON. And of course Goldie, like you said Yu :) And some information about the previous timeline. (And that was it with being chronological)
So yeah, like I said, Max and I'll go. And I also think we can be pretty certain now that the message came from Goldie not the MWAF (which is relieving). I saw the messages and they didn't make Jake the bad guy. I honestly just don't think I can quote them yet. (They're too good, but I probably start daydreaming if I do) But they talk about Jake being an important part of my life and my heart and Max protecting me when he cannot. My dear cousin jumped to conclusions when he saw my bruised face. About Max' phone...I'll probably throw it in a river or something if he brings it with him. I told him not to, also because of Jake (he's not only worried about the MWAF apparently...He didn't exactly say it out loud, but I think it's pretty obvious) but he loves this device.
And I emphasize with you about the being kidnapped thing, you'll manage it, I know it :) And if I need to jump dimensions and box some sense into your Crow-Crew xD
No but for real, you can do that. I know it :)
Jake, find a good point in time to talk to her. But do it :)
Otherwise, I still think the 'underlying desire' theory is a possibility! But, like always in the moment, we could be wrong.
As for my stasis, I really do not wish to talk to more people who think I've been kidnapped. And I am a bit scared that could somehow lead to either them or me being in more danger again. But for now we have to wait.
I for now will pack some important things and paper & pens xD I don't want to leave y'all behind :P
Liska🐾🔥
[A screenshot is glued to the back of the letter and the quick sentence "Jake wants to talk to Jake" is written above]
Hello Jake, it is a pleasure to meet you. I am not quite sure in which way Liska will handle giving you my message, but she promised me to not read it for now.
I don't know whether she told you before or not, but as far as I am concerned she realised I am not only worried about the MWAF chasing her.
With me breaking out of this stasis I am sure that my followers aren't that far behind. And I know you can't do anything from where you are, but cross checking way to protect her doesn't seem to bad to me. Especially since we are similar but still fairly different from each other. At least it seems like that from what I have read.
For my part, I recently improved and updated Nym-OS which allows me access to Liskas whereabouts. If Yuvon should read this, she knows and agrees to it.
Still I am yet stuck on one little detail: I am trying to help Nym-OS in counterattacking. So, even though I am sure you already knoe this yourself, Nym-OS gets the ability to access location of the people attacking Liskas phone. I am almost done with that, so we are able to see a bit easier if and where people are that could be a danger.
Do you have any other ideas for ways I could help? Or even improve what I am doing momentarily. I wouldn't normally ask this since I know and trust my skills, but I think that this is fairly different from a 'normal situation'.
~ Jake
Lis,
Um. I don't know if you've seen the newest person to send in a letter, but we now have an issue.
Jessy, if you're reading this, I was sort of trying to avoid talking about this right away but I'm sort of trapped in a weird place, and Jake's here too because I'm a dumbass. I did not, so you know, let him read your letter or my reply. I figured you wouldn't want that. Sorry for dancing around the issue earlier :/ But at least you can get a good sample of the complete insanity we go through on the regular now!
Yeah... you're getting thrown into the deep end right now, aren't you. Sorry. There's no way to ease into this. You should probably either stop reading these entirely or start reading the letters from the beginning, so this will all at least make some sense. The first letter should start with the words "To whoever reads this," just so you know you get the right one.
Back to you, Lis. Yeah, I feel pretty bad for TSB Jake too. I honestly can't imagine being in his position right now.
Alright. So, you can choose the place. Great! There's way less chance of you being caught that way...
Tragedies just seem to be happening to all us Duskwood detectives, recently, don't they? Rai is chronically overworked and barely has time to sleep, I'm stuck in this hellhole and I've been forgotten by most everyone, you were shot, and poor Matt died and... well.
I never knew him, but I feel really bad for him :(
You could give Max half the truth. Tell him you have a stalker, and he's starting to get physical. Jake has been trying to help you get away from the asshole. It's not even a lie, just... not the full truth. Because. You know. The whole truth is completely fucking insane.
Writing to Jessy just put into perspective how insane everything is, I think. Gimme a sec.
Oh, fuck. My Jessy just texted me. Great timing.
Jeez that whole thing with me leaving myself out was just a joke XD If I knew you and Jake would take it so seriously, I'd never have said anything. I'll steer clear from now on.
Yeah, okay, definitely Goldie. That makes way more sense. I don't think you have to be quite so drastic as destroying the phone. Just get him to leave it at home for the trip.
Ahaha, thanks. I don't think that's necessary, though. Actually, seeing future!Jessy's perspective has caused a bit of a paradigm shift. I think I might need to reconsider what all to tell and not to tell the Crow Crew. I just sort of default to keeping things secret, now, but you've seen how well that worked for me with you and Rai, and with Jake.
Again, you probably should wait for them to contact you first, but you WILL need to talk to them when that happens. What you say to them and what you don't is up to you.
Pack a couple different pens XD We're all a bit long-winded.
That's all from me :)
(The handwriting changes to Jake's.) Hallo, Lis.
Yuvon refuses to tell me what precisely she means about Jessica. Was she somehow contacted by an alternate version of Jessica? If so, how?
I am glad it was Goldie who contacted Max. Yuvon's suggestion for an excuse seems a good one, as there are far less things to remember that way. You simply need to oversimplify everything.
I do not, unfortunately, entirely believe that Yuvon was joking when she made that comment, based on previous comments and her ongoing guilt. I can't understand sometimes why she feels the need to lie so much. It is difficult for me to read people, much less her.
I will speak to her eventually. Early tomorrow, perhaps, if nothing else rears its head. Yuvon looks tired, and I am also admittedly not at my peak. I sincerely hope she does not wake up as early as she does every single day. It may get somewhat taxing, what with the lack of coffee here.
I think that is all from me to you, Lis. If you would kindly find a way to send the next section to my counterpart without looking at it, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you :)
—Jake and Yuvon
Jake,
It is a pleasure to meet you as well, despite the unusual circumstances.
That our pursuers may be freed from the stasis is a logical conclusion. Seeing as the last known location I had on them in my universe was approximately five hundred miles from Duskwood, they will likely be some of the first to free themselves from the stasis. I do not believe I need to warn you that time is of the essence.
It seems as if I am a small distance ahead of you in the development of countermeasures, perhaps because I have had more linear time to develop them. If you are where I think you are at in the development, you likely have or will soon hit a bug you cannot pin down that makes the pinpointing mechanism simply refuse to work at all. Presuming your and my version of NYM-0S are similar enough, the issue should lie in the public bool set in line 132 of the third part of the targeting script, the script that decides what constitutes a target; you have it defaulted to "false" where it should default to "true".
As for additional countermeasures: I was attempting to work on a rudimentary automated system of pattern detection when I was brought here. Essentially, its function would be such that it would be able to triangulate using the locator features already installed to find a rough estimate of where their headquarters might be. However, I have not found any way thus far to eliminate outliers, and as such the feature is currently next to useless. I am no longer able to work on the code, but perhaps you will have more luck than I did.
That is all I can think of for the moment on that subject. However, I have an odd theory on what may be part of the reason we vary so. If you have a moment to spare, please answer me this:
When I was very young, back when Mother was still around, she took me to a doctor for odd behaviors. This included not looking people in the eyes, but there was a list. I was given a diagnosis; if you had the same experience, you should likely know which one.
Did you have this experience? If so, please prove it by stating what the diagnosis was.
Do not worry if you do not know what I am talking about; I would rather you did not guess. Simply state that you don't know. It will confirm my theory.
Good luck with your pursuers.
—Jake

RWBY Random Rant #2!
What villain is the best? (Cinder vs Roman)
Second rant everyone! This one may be a bit longer than the first, so if you don't have time but find this interesting, then I suggest reading this later. If you have infinite time on your hands and your board, then this might help depending on your interests. So let's jump into today's rant!
So, the world of Remnant is a big place. There, you'll find friendly people, weird people, mean people, and people who are just flat out crazy. But today, we're looking at a certain group of people: Villains. Now before we jump in to the blender of craziness, this post is an analysis that can be used for predictions and plot lines. I may be wrong, but I'm writing this off of what I know.
Anyways... Let's start with the basic question, What IS a villain? A villain (or for the more technical term: antagonist) is a character who is trying to stop the hero (or protagonist) from accomplishing his or her goal. Either this, or they're trying to get something and the hero is trying to stop them because what the villain wants is wrong. This is the loosest definition, so you can imagine that this goes way deeper than you think.
There are some things that you need to ask and have answered before you confirm who is the villain in a story. Some of which includes the following:
Who is this guy? (Basic background)
Why is he or she interested in this scenario? (Could this benefit to their cause?)
Why are they doing this? (If so, then why?)
So if we take this and try and apply it to the "villain" we can tell if this is a VILLAIN. Another important thing to note is the quality of the character. What sort of events cause the villain to act like this, and why?
Well, when we're talking RWBY, then villains come in different shapes and sizes. Some villains are immature, and others have experienced enough pain and defeat to know exactly what will work to achieve their goal and/or stop the hero. Then you have the peeps in the middle who aren't as overwhelming as the big baddie, but have enough common sense to know what's going on, what needs to be done, and why they're doing it.
So I'mma gonna start at the bottom of the rainbow and work my way up to the best colors. I'll also be rating these characters on a scale of one to ten. I won't do everyone. Let's start with the entire fandom's LEAST favorite character.
Cinder Fall
Stars: 0/10
Tumblr media
Now if I was a writer for the show, I think the most interesting thing that could happen to Cinder is if she just dropped dead. That's how bad she. Literally. Now, what makes her so disgusting? There are two answers.
She did horrible things. Like hacking the communication towers (With help from Watts, of course), making the people at the Vytal Festival Tournament doubt the leaders of Vale, and, to top it off, KILLED Pyrrah and Ozpin.
But these are the actions a normal villain would do, so what really makes her Terrible? The second answer has the reason.
2. She's a poorly written character with a lack of depth are perception.
I have no idea what made the writers want to make Cinder a hated character, but whatever did worked really well. Honestly, it's like Roosterteeth did the opposite of what Disney did to Cinderella. But when I say she lacks depth, I mean there is nothing that makes her character any good. She's also one of the biggest mysteries in the show, and I don't mean that in a good way. Here are some of the questions that I often ask about her:
Why does she want power?
Does she want to rule the world?
Why does she wear an outfit that's guaranteed to help her freeze to death?
Does she want to kill Salem?
Why doesn't she learn from her mistakes?
WHY THE HECK DOES SHE EVEN EXIST?!?!?!
Well, after some examination, I found out something shocking. She is just a plot device. She may talk and act evil, but in reality, she's just there so that the characters have something to worry about. She has nothing that makes her good, or relatable. To add to that, she's like the Grimm, all she does is attack and kill and if she loses, she DOESN'T reflect on her actions, and she DOESN'T try to fix her mistakes. She just goes back into the fight with the same strategy as before. If the main protagonists studied Cinder's basic movement, then they would be able to take her down, no doubt.
Can Cinder be saved? The answer is no. I bet that, judging from the road she's going down, her strategy will be her ultimate end.
Hazel Rainheart
(I may have spelled his name wrong. Sorry.😁)
Stars: 2/10 ☆☆
Tumblr media
Now Hazel is a bit more interesting. Unlike Cinder, he has a reason he's on the side he is now, but like everyone, he has his flaws. He lets his anger get the better of him, and he's quick to judge. But the real reason why he's not so good is because of his reasoning. His sister died on a training mission because SHE chose to become a huntress. But Hazel takes all of his anger out on Oscar and Ozpin just because he (Ozpin) was the headmaster of Beacon, and let her into the school in the first place.
And I gotta say, this reasoning is understandable, but it's still dumb.
But there is something that makes Hazel a huge threat to the heros: his semblance of pain nullification. This gives him the ability to block out pain. And I kinda get where it comes from.
When his sister died, he was broken. She was probably the only family Hazel had, and when she was killed, he wanted to block out the emptiness, the grief, the pain. Thus his semblance was unlocked and he could no longer feel pain. This ability is probably how his aura charges up so quickly. If pain can block aura from charging, then he has the tools to be a force to be reckoned with. The only downside is that just because he can't feel pain doesn't mean that he's not hurt.
Can Hazel be saved? Maybe. But if he goes on a redemption arch, then he will probably die. But that doesn't mean that he's a lost cause. There's still plenty of things that can be added to Hazel's character to make it better. But at the present, he could be better.
Adam Taurus
Stars 2/10 ☆☆
Tumblr media
This character is relatively horrible. In fact, he's worse than Hazel!
But the thing is, he's like Hazel in a special way: he has a tragic past. Certain events that wreck a kid's childhood can scar them for life. Adam was discriminated for his faunus traits, and this set him on a path of revenge that would be his bitter end.
He was a threat, but small compared to the real one. His semblance made him very dangerous, but it also makes sense. To be more specific, his semblance is, what I like to call, absorption of impact (or for the EruptionFang version, moon slice). This gives him the ability to absorb any damage done by the enemy into his blade, then release it back at a more powerful rate. This can cause devastating damage to both the enemy and the environment. As for why he had this semblance is pretty basic once you think about it.
Adam desired to get back at those who mistreated him. He wanted them to feel his pain, but a lot more extreme. He wanted them to feel what he felt, but worse.
Adam had a lot of potential, but, well when you get stabbed in the back, it's not easy to get back at your enemies. Over all in terms of writing, the thing that would've made him better was a better understanding of what he went through.
Tyrian Callows
Stars 4/10 ☆☆☆☆
Tumblr media
If Adam wasn't crazy enough for you, then Tyrian's your go to guy.
I think that Tyrian is insane enough to join Salem, but has enough sense to know how to kill. He's kinda tough to figure out, but thanks to some much needed information in Volume 7, we now know a bit about Tyrian's past.
Tyrian was a mad man killer on the continent of Anima but was captured. He was then rescued by Salem and her Grimm. Since he's mad he owed his life to her ever since.
He's mad, so there's no bad excuse. And to add to that, he is flat down dangerous. His semblance is the ability to cut through aura, making him a hard to beat.
Can Tyrian be saved? Not really. The only way to kill him is for someone to fall victim to him while another strikes the killing blow.
Doctor Aurthor Watts
Stars: 5/10 ☆☆☆☆☆
Tumblr media
Alright. Here we go!
Watts is very interesting. That's saying alot. Now that we have more information on him, it's easier to see why he wants to screwer Ironwood.
He was an Atlasian scientist who went against Pietro in the effort to make something great for Atlas. While Watts helped write the Atlas security code, Pietro found that the best inspiration is found inside. That was were Penny was created. Watts was disgraced and faked his death. Then Salem found him and he joined her group to get both revenge on Ironwood and respect from Atlas. Though he is clearly unaware of what Salem's true plans are.
He is a wiz when it comes to technology. Besides that, I believe he has some experience with combat. His semblance could have something to do with technology, but we're still figuring that out.
Can Watts be saved? Writing wise, maybe we can get more details about Watts in the final episodes. He's not a lost cause when it comes being a more interesting villain.
Story wise though? He's a dead man.
Salem
Stars: 6/10 ☆☆☆☆☆☆
Yes, I didn't save her for until the end.😼
Tumblr media
Now from the writer's point of view, Salem's backstory has been completely fleshed out. It's pretty complicated so I won't go into details. But from that alone, Salem's actons make sense. As a prisoner of life, she yearns to be free. She wants to die. And she believes that the only way to do this is to divide humanity and summon the gods in there darkest hour. Then the gods destroy the world and Salem is free. She doesn't care about the people she is hurting. She hates humanity and wants to destroy everything. But above all, she wants to get permanent revenge on her ex Ozma (or Ozpin or Oscar). She wants him to die and stay dead when millennia ago she made great sacrifices to try bringing him back from the dead.
Now she has nothing to show for it except endless years of war, hatred, and suffering. There is some relation that one can have with Salem. If anyone who is reading this tried to do something for someone you cared about, but got nothing to show for it in return, then that's what Salem would be feeling. And this has caused her to spiral into madness. She is the purest definition of crazy.
Can Salem be saved? It depends at this point. Story wise, most likely not.
Emerald and Mercury!
Stars for them both 7/10 ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Tumblr media
These two are going to be paired in honor of their beloved ship: Emercury.
Both characters have tragic pasts, so that gives them some common ground, but both are looking for something different. Emerald is looking for love, the one thing that she never had in her entire life. Mercury is looking for a purpose in life, a way to make himself Worthy of greatness. He claims that Cinder recruiting him was just destiny.
Both of these peeps are incredibly good at what they do. Both can fight better than the members of team CFVY.
Emerald's semblance is Perception manipulation, which makes perfect sense in her case. In a very special case, her semblance is similar to Adam's. She wants others to see what she sees, Emerald wants people to see how alone she is, and just how much she needs family. Her semblance is an incarnation of her desire. And she uses it to make people see what she wants them to see.
Mercury's semblance is currently unknown at this time. But we do know that his semblance was stolen by his father. After killing him, Mercury probably got his semblance back, but lives under the illusion that it's still gone.
Mercury grew up in an abusive household, under the guard of a murderer. He was tortured everyday by his father.
Emerald grew up on the streets.
Basically, these characters are well written, and both have great potential as well. There's even some hope of a redemption Arch for these two, and possibly some romance.
Can Emerald and Mercury be saved? Writing wise, yes. More trauma and info can definitely help. Story wise? Hopefully, yes.
Roman Torchwick
Stars: 9/10 ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Tumblr media
Time for the classics!
This charming young schemer has been the first character in the actual show. Fans everywhere love him, and will often mark him as the best villain. Honestly, I have nothing against it. But for the sake of this post, let's break down this lovely character and examine his awesomeness.
Roman's origin is currently unknown, but maybe we'll get some light cast on it with Neo's backstory as well. Many believe that he is somehow connected to Brunswick Farms, and it's still a possibility that has yet to be ruled out.
Roman is a good fighter and a master mind behind the underground crime rings of Vale. By himself, he is a relatively good fighter. Though his semblance has yet to be determined, he has his own Roman candle.
Another aspect of this character that won the hearts of fans is his charming personality. I mean, who can blame him? Though his death was sudden, and unfair, his handsome face will live on in the hearts of many.
Neo Politan
Stars: 10/10⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Tumblr media
The star of the show, folks!
Neo made her big enterence in Volume 2 episode 4 Painting the Town, and ever since has been one of the most popular characters in the entire show. If you break down Neo's character based on what we know, then it's actually really interesting. Let's scoop ice cream!
Neo's backstory is unknown, but we're hoping to have some light shed on the subject. Based off of the song "One Thing", we can tell that Neo's backstory is tragic in some way. She lost everything except for Roman. And she is willing to fight to protect Roman from the death. How do I know?
Her semblance is called illusions by many, but Unicorn of War calls it Mirrors, which I think is the most accurate. Her semblance gives her the ability to reflect her opponent's attacks upon themselves, and she can change her appearance right down to her hair and eye color.
What does any of this have to do with protecting Roman? She will use Any means necessary to protect what little she has left, and to her, that one thing is enough. She Will change her identity as many times as possible, and she often gets away with it. But she is so fierce in protecting that during a fight, any pain that the enemy can dish out to her dumdum would make her determined to kick her opponent's butt. She would give them a taste of their own medicine and literally reflect their attacks upon themselves.
She is a reflection of protection. And like that reflection she represents, she says not a word, but shows people how exactly they can hurt the one she loves.
After Roman's death, Neo Politan is determined to reflect her loves justice upon the true enemies. If you can't face yourself, then you can't face Neo.
So, there you have it, villains everywhere.
Be sure to reblog if you found this interesting!
If you have questions, then ask away!😁
