Anons are off because I'm done with people lying in my inbox, insulting me, and just piling on. I am one person who is trying to deal with hatred from multiple sides but those sending these messages see themselves as just one person throwing in their opinion because you can't see the other 15 messages I get insulting me for the same thing. I feel like I've been clear about my stance and why I function how I do in my small space online. If you find issue with how I function then please just unfollow me and leave me alone. Okay so I've seen multiple posts about how Logan wanted to save Wade bc of Love and I really appreciate it but I have to be the bad guy and at least bring another option in the ring:

Logan is completely depressed for ages, haunted by voices of his family and closest friends he "let die". He hasn't slept well in ages and is an absolute alcoholic to be able to just get through the day. He has no friends or even a single soul who is simply friendly to him.

Logan wants to die.

But Logan can't die.

So of course Wade is the person to change all that and bring light and hope into his life and he definitely did want to save him for Wades family - bc he still believes he has nothing to go back for and if Wade dies he is back where he started and he just doesn't want that. Nobody wants that.

So he has two options, since both of them believe this is the end either way:

Let Wade die alone (with the risk he may not be able to stop it, despite the fact he didn't even reach it alone but let's be honest he hammered against the door before he could even see that)

OR

Die with him - bc he wants to swap places with him / he has to be the one who dies / he'd rather tried than do nothing or run away like always /

This is his only chance.

Seriously. He's been alive for so so long. He's through so much and he knows if it goes bad he HAS to live forever and most people know that's more like a curse than a blessing. He has the chance to end all that. To choose right then and there. And he made that decision.

I think about Chase's line in Three Minus Bree "I'll go talk to her" all the time. It reveals so much about AB&C's dynamic that goes otherwise unsaid.

Bree obviously wants to connect with Donald as daughter and father. She resents being seen as a tool or a weapon. This is where a lot of their conflict (& Bree's character in general) comes from.

Meanwhile, Chase is more of a "golden child". He connects with Donald more because they're both geniuses & because Chase takes to his role as a bionic hero much better/more enthusiastically than the other two. For Donald, he's the easier child. Chase also likes to think of himself as more rational/logical than his siblings (though that's not really true lol), he probably would say that Bree's outburst was childish although secretly he agrees with a lot of what she said.

And Adam... eugh. We never really see him get mad at Donald or take his side, he mostly just goes along with his siblings. Do you think that's because he was raised a household where tensions were high and he wanted to keep things peaceful? We know that Adam is very observant, especially when it comes to his siblings, and he's very protective over them as well. I can't help but feel like he plays up his silliness because he wants to keep them happy in the only way he can...

i'll never understand anyone who chooses to hate on Newjeans because of this whole situation and is siding with HYBE when they are so clearly and visibly being mistreated by this company, (many idols too!!!) including their new CEO who is such an openly bad person.

I see a lot of people (grown-ass women especially) throwing shade towards Hanni, throwing hate and slandering Newjeans for coming out about their mistreatment during their live by saying they're 'disrespecting their higher-ups'.... are you supporting the abuse of these young girls? By being so against Newjeans for speaking up and standing up for themselves you are also condoning the mistreatment of idols (your faves included).

And what's crazy is the minute Jungkook indirectly showed his support for Newjeans y'all wanted to switch up and act like you were always on their side, the minute a man had a say yall wanted to act like he was speaking up for all idols as if you weren't shitting on NewJeans for doing the exact same thing for themselves. (not to say that what Jungkook did wasn't good enough, it's good to see support shown from bigger idols but to completely switch up just because he spoke up is insane and weird) You guys have been trying to shit on these girls for SOOO long and for what?

seunghan’s initial removal from RIIZE, his acceptance, and then second removal is so wildly unfathomable that I can’t really explain just how upset it makes me for kpop as an industry.

this article by jeff benjamin for billboard does a great job explaining the situation as a whole as well as commentary on fandom culture in Korea. the idea that parasocial practices must be upheld in order to pursue a career as an idol feels very manipulative and damaging, especially since it was during a time that seunghan wasn’t in the public eye.
