absolute cosmic irony that I was such a shithead about ace and NB people a decade ago when those are 2 things I now consider myself to be in some capacity. the gods rlly were like they think they’re so funny well we’re about to be hilarious
#personal#erika's blog and bar#does it count as internalized phobia. when I think back on it it doesn’t feel that way but idk#I’d be interested in trawling my archives and seeing where my head was at and if I can figure out where tf it came from#bc back then I was like well I’m ace but also lesbian so it’s different than being cishet ace#like it wasnt full ace exclusion it was just. cishet exclusion#which I don’t believe in now but it’s part of why I’m like is this internalized???#tbh I think I probably got influenced by like crypto TERF rhetoric#idk I just remember one day I was like wait a second actually yeah who cares if they’re cishet other cishets think they’re weird#and it felt like waking up from something. I’m sure this was the product of pushback from the broader Ace community#but I don’t remember. I just rmemeber having a realization one day of how shitty I was being#with NB people I don’t remember a lot I just kinda remember like. being annoyed with the gender discourse of 2012-2014#like w ppl being like my gender is plant or galaxy or whatever#which in retrospect I’m p sure a lot of those people might’ve been trolls#but even if they were sincere it’s like okay whatever do you#I think a lot of my shittiness was stoked by annoyance at how brain rotted and toxic the SJ discourse could be back then#like if you look at what Twitter is now it was basically like that#just absolutely wretched and toxic environment that contributed to a lot of ppl being radicalized I think#and a lot of bad faith actors looking to take advantage of ignorant kids who got screamed at or mocked in that environment#for asking questions and trying to learn and not already knowing the correct terms and whatnot#like I do still firmly believe that a lot of leftist spaces create their own far right adversaries simply by treating#open minded ignorance like it’s the same thing as deliberate bigotry and malice

We kinda did this when we first started talking but then it went more platonic ig but now it’s back to this??! Idk I thought I liked her for a while but then I wasn’t sure. Also some other people got romance vibes when we first met each other.
I mean, I think she’s super pretty and she’s also a huge lesbian so I know she likes girls/afab nb people.

Hello
First and foremost, HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!!!
So, I have a question, it's smth that I worry that I do that may be harmful idk
I identify generally as queer but especifically as a genderfluid sapphic. I use sapphic as an umbrella term (have never used lesbian), bc while I do also feel attraction to men (especially rlly feminine presenting ones) i have a strong undeniable preference for women (cis or otherwise), and even with men i can never see myself with them in a "traditional" sexual manner (I'm afab) since I do NOT like penetration (that is in terms of receiving, I love giving tho)
I've always felt comfortable with the label sapphic bc I use it as an umbrella term and never thought that it would be harmful to do so instead of just using the bisexual label but I've seen some people say that sapphic and lesbian are both are the same thing and both are NOT umbrella terms (lesbian most definitely ISN'T an umbrella term which is why I've never identified as one)
Am I in the wrong here? I rlly thought it was an umbrella term and I've been looking and I've only seen a few people say it isn't, most agree that it is, I'm kinda confused Idk what to think
Hi! Happy pride month to you too.
That’s actually a question a lot of people have and a lot of them do think sapphic and lesbian are the same thing. They are not. While lesbian is not an umbrella term sapphic is.
Lesbian is someone who’s either a woman or non-binary person attracted only to women/non-binary people.
Sapphic is a term to describe any woman/non-binary person attracted to women/non-binary people (it doesn’t matter if they’re attracted to men or not). So sapphic includes lesbians, bi women/nb people, pan women/nb people, aro/ace women/nb people, and queer women/nb people.
Don’t worry about it because you’re not in the wrong here. The only term that means the same as lesbian is dyke, but sapphic doesn’t = lesbian.
All lesbians are sapphic, not all sapphics are lesbians.

Not gonna tag this and I know I said I didn't wanna talk about the drama (I lied I guess) but the other thing about mcc is that we also don't know all the behind the scenes stuff. Some of the queer streamers they would have otherwise added might have not been available or maybe didn't want to participate for whatever reason, possibly because of the whole YouTube-only thing.
(Some proper salt under the cut)
Idk, like it's fine to be like disappointed that someone didn't get in, I mean I'm kinda disappointed that Illumina isn't participating. But I don't know why Illumina isn't in it! Maybe he didn't want to be, maybe he was busy, who the fuck knows. Unless we actually hear the reason we won't know. Same for Calvin, it would have been really cool what with him just recently coming out, but he hasn't been in since mcc9 anyway, maybe he just isn't even interested.
(Although how fun would it be to have Calvin, Grian and Wilbur team? Just put all the button-eyed boys on the same team, it would be funny.)
Also apparently people are complaining about there not being any lesbians or trans people but Sqaishey and Eret are there! And sorry lesbians but I don't actually care: there's still multiple queer women in the event, it's fine. You guys can take the L (Word) this time. (Besides the word "lesbian" originally used to include bi women anyway)
Idk to me it kinda makes it sound like bi/pan people and NBs "don't count". And are we playing bingo here, should the event have collected each identity like pokémon?
And like if the point is to raise money for queer people and you make queer people do all the work? Kinda backwards lol (I'm kidding, I'm kidding, just couldn't resist saying it.)
... all that said, I don't like the YouTube exclusive thing, reminds me too much of the general commercialisation of Pride events. It's an ad for YouTube, right? They've seen how many viewers this event brings in and they're trying to yoink those views from Twitch, that's what's happening. But you can't criticise it because it's for charity. Fucking bullshit.
And yes, that ended up making the event more exclusive, including to a lot of queer streamers! Because so many of them are on Twitch! It sucks!
I don't wanna blame Scott and the Noxcrew too much, I don't know what made them choose this route. But if I WAS gonna criticise them for something, it's the YouTube sponsorship thing.
But whatever, it's just the one event.

They/them lesbians are annoying, but at least I always default to thinking of them as women.
"Hesbians" tho... "nb he/him leabians" tho...
Shit feels way too fetish-y. Hate using that word cause it gets thrown around so much for things it doesn't apply to. But when I see "he/him lesbian" ESPECIALLY "nb he/him lesbian" I can't help but picture a guy trying to pass as a lesbian. Without even fully committing to the larp.
It's so weird and kinda concerning that pointing this out online gets you called a bigot.
I agree. With they/them lesbians, it seems that most of them are just girls using they/them pronouns. Since I don’t believe in nonbinary being a legitimate thing, I have less of a problem with female enbies calling themselves lesbians because yeah, they’re lesbians, they just need to drop the enby stuff because lesbians are women. And if they insist that actually they’re genderless and they/them, then I think they should commit to that and not call themselves a gendered term.
Does that make sense? 😂 What I’m trying to say is that enbies who call themselves gendered terms need to make a choice, either they drop the enby shit so they can call themselves a gendered term, or they drop the gendered term so they can call themselves genderless.
The hesbians, especially the enby ones, I have a hard time thinking as just girls using pronouns like accessories. To me he=man so it just sounds like an asshole straight man trying to tell me he’s a lesbian. And with the enbies I always wonder if it actually is a straight man and not a butch lesbian…. Because apparently straight men can be lesbians as long as they change their pronouns or gender identity. 🙄
Idk. I just want people to accept that lesbian is a woman exclusive term. As I said I think many of the enbies who call themselves lesbians actually are lesbians… but it’s very hypocritical to claim to be both not a woman and a woman at the same time. So they’ve gotta drop one label or the other.

OKAY. okay. since there’s so many of yall being like I AM SEE to my silly comic idea, i will give you the rough gist of what i’ve got so far. think of a little character blurb per each character. probably subject to change, BUT;
1; black trans femme lesbian, autistic and legally blind without glasses but carries a cane with her just incase she loses her glasses. she’s mostly non-dysphoric and completely unafraid to be herself
2; half latina genderqueer he/it lesbian, with chronic migraines and depression. overcomes migraines and learns to love his peers a bit more
3; nb they/it polyamorous bi person with adhd, flirts with EVERYONE and has like a layered inferiority complex and religious trauma (both are important in the story).
4; cuban(?) butch lesbian* with kinda strict parents who has adhd and depression, *comes out during the story as agender transmasc. they/xe, very chill, and struggles to show how much they care about their peers
5; they/she ace, aro-spec biromantic ! only friends get to use he/him for them. they’re mixed but identify with their “blackness” (idk how to put that so take that wording with a fucking pound of salt) more. they come from a rich family but still say eat the rich!! also apeshit and does stupid “crazy” things and ALSO has anxiety.
6; this is THE MOST subject to change one. albino pan girl with irlens syndrome and got kicked out of her house by her family. ALSO holds religious trauma, and is really talented with technology and makes kandi. also ALSO flirts w everyone!
AND FINALLY, NUMBER 7; half deaf light skinned(?? idk the right term for that.) girl who has hearing aids. shes panromantic and ace-spec. cant go into much detail abt her though . if you read this post before and remember why i can't talk abt her? no you don't 💖

so because of my last anon ask, i am actually genuinely trying to find a direct correlation between being a dsmp blog and an exclus at the same time like. is it bc all the ccs are completely accepting without question?? i mean yeah they're white and cishet and they don't get it and it's not their place to participate in discourse and invalidate others. it's cute and helpful when they educate themselves but of course they're not gonna know everything or have a decent platform to speak on their opinions, let alone not get cancelled for it.
i... do not care if tommy or ranboo says pan rights? or if they don't understand what a bi lesbian is (against that btw if it's unclear)? hell i literally did not give a shit that eret, who is lgBt, didn't understand nb lesbians (which i am one of) until they educated themself. these are my opinions and what i think is true or correct based on experience and what i know and how that affects us and others. i can't and won't force you to identify one way or another, i'm just gonna judge and approve or disapprove. that can't stop or even affect you and if it does, then you have a lot of personal problems you need to unpack.
if the confusion comes from the fact that most of the fandom itself is accepting, especially on mcyttwt, well, i hate most of the fandom and do not want to be associated with it - not necessarily because of discourse, as i said idc, but because of its cringe, shitty reputation for the most part anyway. besides, for as much of a hivemind cult as they are, i am under no obligation to do exactly as they do even if i did align myself directly with them anyway. i am not them and they are not me.
if the disgust comes from the idea that i'm supposed to voice my protection of the lgbt community from homophobia and transphobia - mainly cishets - then i get the reaction cause it's kinda contradictory that i stan "problematic" (they really aren't for the most part i'd say [and have said], but i'll mention it for how others see them) cishet white men. but like. that's my personal business/interest and it doesn't affect you at all?? it's not like i'm opening the gates for them in any way at all or inviting them to speak for/with us. like if that bothers you ain't nobody fuckin said you gotta interact, yeah??
so. yeah. i'm an mcyt/dsmp stan/supporter and an lgbt discourse exclus. end of. i'm tired of justifying myself to these goddamn anons about something different every week but i genuinely felt like making a post about it this time without much anger or emotion like admittedly usual. idk why ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So…another (gay) thing about Z2
(I’ll shut up eventually, I swear)
P.S. I’m pretty damn opinionated about the LGBT vibes i get from this movie, so if you don’t like it when people point at a character and go THATS GAY then stop reading
Are we gonna talk about how Disney yet again made gay subtext and then made Straight™️ matches in the final dance number?
Wyatt and Eliza? First of all, Eliza’s been repping gay vibes since Z1 (my opinion but I’m sure people agree with me). Second of all, when Willa complimented Eliza, did u see that short-circuiting? Eliza literally took a whole ass minute to thank her. Idk bout yall but I would dock that under Useless Lesbian.
And Willa in that dressy-pant thing? Big gay mood (not to say that a het couldnt rock that, I’m just sayin I usually see that kinda style in gay context)
So yeah, Wyatt and Eliza dancing at the end was 2nd-in-command solidarity and they’re now BFFs (and yeah I still think Wyatt’s NB and u can fight me on that, maybe pan too)
Now, Willa and Bucky…
*sigh*
WILLA AND BUCKY????
This is gay solidarity at it’s finest. The only possible explanation is that these two were most resistant to change and them dancing together is the greatest display of acceptance between both sides.
BECAUSE IN NO UNIVERSE IS BUCKY STRAIGHT!
Like…come on.
I’ve already made my point that Willa likes girls (tbh kinda getting a Bi vibe from her cuz she reminds me of Uma) but Bucky…he’s definitely just not straight.
Idek how to explain it. He’s too extra and well…too Bucky to be straight
In conclusion, Prawn’s main relationships were Bree x Bonzo and Zed x Addison, and Wyatt and Willa were dancing with people who they were trying to set up with their sibling.
Thank you for coming to my Zed Talk.

putting the idea here because idk if i’ll have time to write it
bungou stray dogs host club AU, with the bonus of everything being trans and enby friendly
Atsushi is nonbinary and uses any pronouns but doesn't really like being referred to as a guy or girl. well more like they primarily use they/them but are ambivalent about other ones. they don’t even get manipulated into joining the club, they just want money and think learning to talk to women is a nice plus
Q is also there, also nonbinary, and a horrid little shit who will manipulate people into giving them cake. they're pretty sweet deep down, though. still. gender was never an option, and they won’t hesitate to use crocodile tears to get what they want. immediately adopts atsushi as their big sibling and won’t take no for an answer
dazai is kinda meh on gender, uses he/they and punches terfs for fun and profit. occasionally acts as a therapist and if he sees someone showing signs that their mental health is shit, will flirt and compliment them and basically just. help them with reasons to live. bi af
naomi is pissed that her brother is a host and sometimes pretends to be his girlfriend if a client is getting too clingy. she's not jealous she just thinks he needs to learn to stand up for himself
junichirou would probably apologize if someone poured hot soup on his lap tbh. can stand up for naomi but let a teacher call him the wrong name for a year because he thought correcting the mistake would come off as rude
chuuya is trans and everyone has infinite respect and admiration for him! short king, incredible confidence, reluctant older brother, classy af bicon. probably had an “i’m not like other girls” phase until he realized “yeah there’s a reason for that dumbass you’re not a girl” and has called out more than one client on their internalized sexism.
kunikida is aroace but thought he was straight for the first two years. he's just here to make money and respect women
kenji is the baby gay who got adopted into the group and likes bringing homemade sweets and vegan snacks
ranpo isn't a host but functions as like. the exposition dump person? he's assigned to show the transfer student, poe, around school. they accidentally fall in love and don't realize it. atsushi is also a transfer student but ends up third wheeling a lot until they get adopted by the host club
Yosano is the big sister/bouncer who will attack transphobes and anyone who fetishizes trans/nb folks. respect trans women or face her chainsaw. also she’s absolutely a lesbian and dreams of homoerotic sword fights
kyouka is a trans girl who comes up to yosano one day like “i heard you respect trans people....” and is immediately adopted. the host club is absolutely delighted to have her and decides that she’s their little sister now. she’s a bit spoiled by all the attention but good for her! she deserves it

Is vixenamoric terf-y?
Short answer: no. i'll explain why.
Before leaving anything in the notes, i ask you to read this post CAREFULLY. as this is a sensitive topic for some, i recommend not reading it if you don't feel okay with the mentioning of transphobia, lesbian erasure, and more. however, if you misinterpret anything, it's not my fault. read it at your own risk.
recently, a new (micro, maybe) label was created: vixenamoric. it has started on twitter and since it has something to do with sexuality, obviously it got a huge attention. but not everyone is happy with that label, saying it is transphobic.
op said it was created because nonwomen keep "invading lesbian spaces" - and, honestly, i agree a lot.
but what she meant by "nonwomen"? nonbinary people and men. obviously.
before anyone get mad at us, let me explain: lesbian is a term EXCLUSIVE for women who love women. it shouldn't have any exceptions.
the reason many people think it is transphobia isn't very clear. everyone knows that trans women are real women, so why getting angry at it? perhaps because of internalized transphobia?
reader, think about it. because OP never said or implied that trans women aren't women. many people are accusing her of that, but so far we haven't seen any proof of such thing. but if you do, call me.
op never said, "yeah, this is for cis women only".
anyways, back in the topic: why enbies/nb can't be considered lesbian? well, some people say that "there is no proper label to describe a nb attracted to only women", but hey, there is. google is a thing, if you think about it... there are two labels for a nb person attracted to men only: toric. and for women: trixic. ("orchid" also works!)
we don't understand why it is so difficult, for some enbies, to use those terms. i mean, they were made exclusively for you. why you feel the need to use lesbian instead?
that's lesbian erasure. at this point nobody takes the LGBT community seriously anymore, because people feel the need to use terms that aren't for them... labels aren't for comfort. they're for identification purposes. no homosexual man or woman (that isn't in danger) would identify as a straight person. that's erasuring yourself. if labels were for comfort, surely there would be less gay people.
you may say "oh, but you aren't a lesbian!! so you can't say anything about that." but i disagree. people are allowed to speak about problems, as long they're educated about it. and i am educated about this topic in particular! i did a lot of research to make sure that what i'm saying at least makes sense.
back to the topic.
a lot of vixenamorics get annoyed because not only enbies invade their spaces, but also... "hesbians".
a hesbian is a "lesbian" that uses he/him pronouns. personally, i find that something kinda necessary sometimes, but ONLY if they have to hide their real identity and pretend they're men.
otherwise, it's just blatant disrespectful. many lesbians died because they needed to pretend being men to stay with their lovers. being a hesbian for comfort, even though you're a cis (or trans, idk) woman, is just fxcked up. we can't forget our lesbians sisters that died because they loved other women. because they "needed to be fixed" by men.
remember them.
they gave lesbians their rights. but now, being a hesbian just because you want is just sad.
you should only use it if you need to stay safe.
many people say "let people use pronouns/labels they're comfortable with!" but then yell at vixenamorics for using the label. funny.

🥺🧡 Im gonna send a snippet in my next ask!! Also I’m cool w/you posting it. If anything it might actually give me the push bc I have ideas!!! but most ppl I often scream abt ideas with are in different fandoms and they’re not too keen on corpse so it’s low-key awkward but my fixation does not let me rest lmao. I have been working on a playlist for the fic tho and I’m trying to group it in order of kinda progression in the fic if that makes sense? but atm the current playlist is just jumbled mess. STOP THATS SO COOL omg pls find a way for it to come up as a discussion point between reader and corpse bc that kinda stuff makes the dopamine HIT. I am excited for this music adventure n I hope life helps you find the right people to work with on that!!! -🐈‍⬛
I LOVED THE SNIPPET DUDE!! also i definitely feel ya on the ‘friends in different fandoms aren’t too keen on corpse/yt’ hence why i have a wholeass YT sideblog. cannot BELIEVE corpse revived my yt blog. my older posts are SO INCREDIBLY EMBARRASSING it was from 2014. someone liked a gifset of eef from idk how long ago where i was relentlessly thirsting in the tags, like, NO past me, you’ve got gender envy and an aesthetic attraction, but you are a Fucking NB Lesbian please calm down. but that’s a whole other thing.
i’ve got too many playlists for this fic specifically, cos i have the album ones, but i also have the sykkuno and y/n vibes one, and also the full fic playlist that’s just the vibes for the playlist, which is so jumbled rn but i also definitely know what you mean abt chronological order for the songs relating to the fic, i do that with all my fic-specific playlists
side note, a list of songs you definitely shouldn’t think about in the context of angel!corpse/demon!reader:
Take Me To Church - Hozier (for obvious reasons, but it makes me yell when considering that they almost definitely think it about the other, if that makes sense??)
Saint Bernard - Lincoln (im going to go feral)
Crave You (Original) & (Adventure Club Remix) - Flight Facilities (the remix is much more the vibe im going for, but also the original has some lyrics that hurt my little rabbit heart. if this ain’t the reader idk what is;
Tumblr media Tumblr media
there’s more but i don’t have them on hand rn.
yesssss so i’ve just started on the reader working on a song abt corpse, even though they haven’t really spoken, because things have kind of changed and ive got more of a story arc than i did before, but it makes sense. y/n needs a rest. badly.
also welcome to wildly unrealistic things i think about that won’t happen in the fic, but that i literally cannot get out of my mind because of the aesthetic of it all. (and if ur sick abt me talking abt billie eilish in relation to this fic i’d scroll on now im sorry but her musical aesthetic is what i want my soul to look like)
so i go back and forth abt the reader telling the world that they’re a demon, on the one hand, that’s their business and the world can get fucked, it needs to learn respect and boundaries, on the OTHER HAND there are so many ways that they could?? the one that lives rent free in my head is while performing live, at a festival. SPECIFICALLY (the theatrics, ladies and gentlemen, and those of us who know better, the theatrics) i have this idea of them joining Billie Eilish on stage during her set, since they’ve collabed before and they’ve worked this all out, (if it doesn’t load properly, bcos its a 7 min video, the bit im thinking of starts at 6:11)
youtube
so it’s bury a friend, with this whole semi-choreographed duet thing, so the lyrics become kind of a conversation, and the reader’s kind of playing this confident, antagonistic character on stage as they both jump around, and duck and chase, but they get to that bit, to the second chorus, and y/n steps up behind billie so they can rest their chin on her shoulder, and y/n has their eyes closed and is mouthing the words, but their microphone is lowered, and billie’s the one singing
Step on the glass, staple your tongue (Ahh-ha) Bury a friend, try to wake up (Ahh-ha) Cannibal class, killin' the son (Ahh)
but, BUT, Billie gives this pleased little knowing smile, which the cameras that are getting close ups catch, and projecting them on the screens either side of the stage, and Billie moves the microphone so y/n can say the- Bury a friend - as their eyes open to show of their demon eyes and this wicked smile, and the - I wanna end me - is said as the crowd is GOING OFF and the bass drops, and y/n reveals their wings as the lights and screen behind them are strobing and going off behind them, creating the silhouette of these gigantic black, iridescent, feathered wings, and it’s so bright people can’t be quite sure if what they’re seeing is right, but then billie steps away from y/n as the lights flood the stage with red and everyone can see them with their arms out, like royalty, confident and intimidating and incredible, and billie’s laughing her fucking head off, delighted, before they both get into the final bit of the song, even though the music can barely be heard over the crowd at this point.
like i said, SUPER unrealistic and mostly just for aesthetic and will not be what happens, but the image in my head is very cool so i had to talk abt it. thank u.

more gender thoughts woooooooooo
after thinking about it some more and especially after reading the op’s clarification I realize I misinterpreted the post; I was reading it as like “these terms don’t exclude all nb people so I’m going to say they should/do include all nb people” when really it was just more like “hey nb people are allowed to opt into using these terms if they want”
I just until recently have had a hard time wrapping my head around combining nonbinary with binary because my experience being gender-repulsed is (apparently) uncommon and extremely different from others using the nonbinary label, but between the really obvious in retrospect realization that not every nb person is repulsed by the idea of being associated w/the gender binary and the reply on that post that implies that people may be using it in a sense that I equate more with gender non-conforming I think I’ve finally got it sorted out.
I also see posts like the one I’ve been talking about that like “let aligned nb people be aligned in peace; they’re valid” but I rarely actually see anyone saying they can’t? just because I don’t see it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen obviously and I guess people are more likely to spread positivity posts than people responding to asshole anons but I’ve always found it hard to find stuff that isn’t for/about aligned nb people
I will admit I’m not exactly active in any nb communities so maybe my experience is not as rare as it seems to be. I know I’ve had a couple followers in the past say they have similar experiences so, probably not?  it’s kinda hard to tell on tumblr bc the tags are always like 90% headcanons about fictional characters lmao
and also I think it’s kinda like I said in this post about pronouns – straight and lesbian are generally associated with liking/being one specific gender and saying that nb people can use these labels doesn’t mean everyone’s gonna immediately accept that right away (gay I think has kind of become an umbrella term and consequently lost the single-gendered connotations, at least online.)
anyway I kinda wanna see if I can find stuff about the usage of “nonbinary” and see how the meaning has or has not changed over time. mostly unrelated but I do think that the non-binary vs nonbinary spelling debate has largely settled on the latter and google trends seems to support that (the huge spike is when Demi Lovato came out lol)
Tumblr media
also interesting to me is that if you check from the 2004-present option, neither term is really searched all that much until 2014-2015. I’ve known I was nonbinary since 2010 and I might have to dig through my blog and see if I mentioned much what terms I was using. I know when I was first figuring things out I was using neutrois for a good while; I’m trying to remember if I ever ID’d as genderqueer. anyway was I using non(-)binary before it was cool? or was I using other terms? It’s been a while and I don’t exactly remember 😔
actually I kinda wanna look at gender related terms in general; like, I remember when trans* was a thing and people were flip-flopping between AFAB/AMAB and FAAB/MAAB
another thing I’ve thought about from time to time is how people are VERY adamant that clothes and actions don’t define one’s gender but like..........................they kind of do? I guess not so much in liberal spaces in America and I grew up in a fundamentalist xian cult and am an outlier adn should not be counted but like. Less than 10 years ago I had a Sunday school class bemoaning the fact that you couldn’t tell men and women apart anymore because they were wearing the same clothes and doing the same things. Exactly what clothes and actions are part of one’s gender roles (and the genders there are) varies from culture to culture (which is one of the reasons I hate saying I’m transmasc – masculine according to whom and why is the answer WASPs) and it’s not like one’s body had absolutely nothing to do with it, but yeah. idk I’m a bit sleep-deprived and I’ve been writing this for like two hours now and my computer crashed so I lost this section and kinda forgot where I was going with this
anyway that’s not to say that I agree with that line of thought, it’s just that for the vast majority of people for the vast majority of history, clothes and actions did in fact play a huge role in one’s gender and like I said earlier about pronouns and sexuality labels, saying they’re not connected doesn’t instantly dissolve all those associations. frankly I have to wonder what kind of life experiences one has where they can just be like “ugh I can’t believe people don’t already know this 🙄” Like I know they’re almost certainly just venting and don’t expect people irl to understand but like.
where’s that post I saw the other day about how people can forget what it’s like to be new to a concept and thus have trouble explaining it and get frustrated bc they expect people to already have the same understandings that they do. It feels like maybe that’s what’s going on
ONE LAST THING why do people get mad about people making aesthetics for their gender. it’s not like cis people don’t do the same damn thing

okay so first of all i made all my designs using this among us themed picrew, i might draw them at some point but im just using it for now.
second of all, im not good with names lol, so basically theyre literally named pink, cyan, and teal (also known as mini cyan is theyre mini crewmate) idk if im genuinely going to stick with these as their names or give them like, actual names but like they work for now so.
also pink started out as an among us sona so they kinda look like me/are based on me.
okay now thats all out of the way, lets begin
first of all,  pink (seen here w teal):
Tumblr media
•she/they pronouns
•nb lesbian
• sweet and kind, passionate about lots of things but quite shy initially (they're more outspoken after having know their crewmates for a while though they feel most themself around cyan and mini cyan)
• crewmate
•dating cyan (they start dating on the space mission)
•on her first mission when she meets cyan
•initially signed up to be an astronaut (theyre astronauts right?? i think they are) because her relationship with her family wasn't on good terms because they weren't supporting of their identity (is it projecting if its my oc?) and they didnt have anyone else in their lives, plus she felt taking part in space travel would mean shed be able to help people and was always intrigued by space.
• she cares fiercely about cyan and teal and would do anything for them
• doesnt tend to be accused often (esp when theyre w cyan bc they defend each other in meetings)
•spends most of their time doing their tasks, they're quite good at them (except the card one bc lets be honest everyone sucks at that one)
•autistic (actually all of them are autistic, sorry i have disease that makes me make all my ocs autistic its called being a fucking genius)
• speaking of which, she has a spin in space (it started out as regular intrigue about the topic but looking into becoming an astronaut made it a full blown special interest)
•always defending cyan in meetings and will basically death glare anyone who tried to accuse her
next, cyan! (again also pictured with mini cyan):
Tumblr media
•she/him pronouns
•nb (femme aligned) bisexual
• quite a bubbly and friendly person, also quite passionate like pink esp morally
•dating pink!! (ofc lol)
•single mother of teal
• *technically* an imposter but doesn't kill anyone
• saw what the other imp were doing on her last mission and then promised to herself to protect the rest of his crewmates from them. (esp pink when she meets them)
• a good mum, always makes sure teal is nearby and safe
• the other imposters dont know that she's an imposter
• will kill other imposters if they threaten pink or teal in any way, but will otherwise avoid it in case he get caught
• tries to do tasks even though shes an imposter because itll help with the mission and helps make her seen less suspicious but isn't that good at them
• tends to not be accused often, it happens occasionally but the idea is usually dismissed quickly (especially because of pink defending him)
•incredibly protective over teal and pink especially when it comes to other imposters, is always with pink so no other imposters will see them as a target
and last but not least, teal!!:
Tumblr media
•he/they pronouns
•nb
• babey
•no literally they're like eight
•cyans kid
•got the nickname mini cyan from the other crewmates
• also an imposter like cyan but doesn't kill anyone either because they r a literal child
• an absolute nerd of a child (asks pink to show him the task theyre doing often because they're intrigued by all the space stuff) (can u tell i do not know mach abt space)
•a sweetie, an actual angel
•basically spends most of their time hiding behind cyan at first, still sticks with him though they get lost sometimes
• sees pink as their mum after she starts dating cyan
pink meets cyan on the mission and is pretty much immediately simping for her,  they become friends quickly but pink doesn't think its possible for her feelings for him to be mutual, however cyan is equally smitten for her and they start dating. pink and cyan love each other with their entire heart and soul, and pink basically becomes cyans parent.
after a while cyan reveals that shes actually an imposter, initially nervous that pink would lose trust in her, but she doesn't and now defends him in meetings even more, nervous of what would happen if the other crewmates found out their gf was an imposter. similarly, cyan is very protective over pink being hurt by other imposters. basically pink looks out for cyan by defending her to the other crewmates and cyan looks looks out for pink by protecting her from the other imposters.
thats pretty much it lol, at least for the much happier version of the storyline, theres also a really angsty version were cyan is killed by and imposter that either thinks shes a crewmate or has figured out that hes an imposter that refuses to kill crewmates, and pink has to look after teal on her own and protect him from both imposters and crewmates that might figure out that hes an imposter.crewmates
so yea, thats my among us ocs and the story surrounding them, i might make more future (other crewmates and imposters on their mission) but thats who i have for now, i hope you like them!!! :3

i absolutely didn’t mean to imply that you’re not trans, i’m so sorry if that’s what it sounded like. i guess what i’m saying is, at least from my perspective, is that you don’t identify specifically as a transman. to me, afab transmen and afab nb people have very different experiences! of course you are no ‘less trans’ than me or anyone else, but we’re all different. just like the experiences of a lesbian and a bi woman are going to be different, even though they’re both very valid sexualities and neither is ‘less lbgt+’ than the other. but, there are just going to be some topics that resonate differently with certain people, you know? the type of transphobia and dysphoria trans nb people deal with is different than what transmen deal with, the same way lesbophobia (both internalized and from others) can be different from biphobia, and so on!
as for tagging, i guess i’m not sure? i suppose ‘trans pregnancy’ or ‘pregnant trans character’ should get the idea across fairly well.
That is a very good way of explaining it, and I agree. My experiences are different. I don’t feel much of any top dysphoria, I prefer they/them but I’m generally ok with she/her pronouns, and there are feminine things that I enjoy, like...idk, floral patterns? (But ofc men can enjoy those things too!) Occasionally I can tolerate “traditionally feminine” things being attributed to me or I even attribute them to myself. Pregnancy just is one of the things that I can’t tolerate. I guess my point was that feeling extreme dysphoria about pregnancy is not a defining characteristic of trans men, nor is it something that all trans men share, but it is something that you and I share. But you’re right, the way we experience it could still be different. Maybe for you it’s more like “I don’t want to carry children because I’m a man” whereas for me it’s more like “I don’t want to carry children because I want to rip out my uterus and just have literally nothing down there.” Also I’m asexual and it’s possible that my bottom dysphoria is half about my sexuality. So I don’t mean any disrespect and I hope that what I said didn’t come across as me playing victim or anything because it occurred to me that the way I was speaking sounded kinda like “I’m so discriminated against...pls pity me...I’m baby 😭” and that was NOT what I meant to do. I know I keep saying I’m new to this, but that does not mean you should feel obligated to baby me.
I’m still very open to listening more, but my current conclusion is that isn’t something that is inherently unethical; it’s something that varies from person to person. You’re right that some people might find it extremely triggering and I should be more careful and responsible when talking about it. In this case, I think that tagging things that people could find triggering is a more appropriate response than total censorship. Something that harms one person might be important for another person to read, and appropriate tagging and content warnings seems like the best way to protect one group without ignoring the other. So I just want to say I hear you, I’m taking your criticism to heart, and I will keep what you have said in mind in the future. I appreciate you taking the time to talk to me and being patient with me!
