The Alonso house was never quiet. This was something your mother had come to realize long ago. But now she was concerned. What the hell could you and Fernando be doing that would lead to him getting hurt? Despite your insistence of being well mannered and quiet, your mother knew you could tend to get up to the same level of quirkiness as your father.

It didn't help you were smashing records in Formula 1 Academy, racing alongside women like Lia Block and the Al Qubaisi sisters, all while hiding your identity.

Someone had bashed it into you at twelve you'd only be known as Little Alonso if you continued racing under your fathers name, hence why you had insisted you dropped Alonso and continued with Diaz.

Which you did... after six months of convincing your father.

Who is currently shouting, "I'll be fine, ¡bebita!"

"You have old bones!" Is your remark as your mother gets up from where she's tending to the online store she runs for her business. Sort of like a branch out of her Etsy store. She made really nice custom embroidery on top of her working for a media company that outsourced and trained employees for PR teams.

"I'm not that old!" Fernando's shout makes her laugh into her hand as she steps into the kitchen to see you've got a whole plethora of items out and around you.

"What are you two doing..?" She hums, leaning on the doorframe and watching as both you and Fernando turn to her like deer in headlights.

And then you smile, "Papá wants to make a Tik Tok."

Verónica laughs, watching as her husband attempts to tape his phone to the ceiling fan and she puts her hands up and walks out of the room with a quick sentence over her shoulder, "[I'm not explaining this to Aston Martin!]"

You read the headline for a third time, 'F1 Academy driver Y/N Diaz to replace ill Lance Stroll for the Monaco GP.'

There's a happy buzz in the Aston Martin garage, even with Lance being terribly ill this weekend. He'd still shown up in full support of his team, but was too woozy to actually get in the car. Too much of a risk. So, Aston Martin had called on you, and you were genuinely excited to race. So your father escorts you into the garage with a tiny proud smile, and all of Aston Martin knows who you actually are.

But media does not. Neither do some of the other drivers.

Hence how you end up talking with Lando during a press event, and when he gives you a soft smile and edges around asking your age, you have to poke your father's thigh to keep him from commenting on it. Lando has no idea he's blatantly flirting with you in front of your dad, but across from him Lewis is trying not to burst into laughter.

"I feel like I'm missing something." Lando says when the reporter comments on the eyes you, Lewis, and Fernando are giving each other. You look at Fernando and he nods,

"Yeah go for it, hermosa." Fernando taps your knee and you smirk, leaning on your fathers shoulder as you say,

"So my full name is Y/N Diaz Alonso, but I go by Diaz because y'know, my dad's got a pretty good legacy--"

"You're his daughter?!" Lando shouts and the audience starts screaming. Lewis is in practical tears with how hard he's laughing and Fernando's laughing as well. Lando curses, "Shit, man!"

"No hard feelings, man." Fernando reaches over to pats Lando's shoulder, who looks like he'd rather sink into the floor and die than be seen right now. Lewis is literally in tears.

"The fact Nando managed to keep this a secret for so long is unsurprising to me," Lewis says, "I mean, I knew because she was young when I first got to F1 and a lot of the older drivers know--plus Max, I think, because of the Piquets."

"Funnily enough," You giggle into the back of your hand, "Mark Webber's my godfather."

"Really?!" The reporters eyes widen and you nod.

"He's a bad influence, truly. Him and Jenson, oh and Seb, they were teaching me curse words at like four years old." You grin and Fernando laughs, now happily laying his arm across your shoulder to tug you to his side.

"And honestly, she's just like me at her age, so the boys on the track might wanna watch out." Fernando sends a pointed glance to Lando that has you whacking your fathers chest with a giggle.

"I'm more like him in the sense of goofy Renault celebrations Fernando, not like "I knew he'd brake because he has a wife and kids at home" Fernando." You clarify, but a knowing glance from Lewis has you shrugging while your father sits in smug confidence that his daughter will be fine.

And you would be. You were closer to the comments than the celebrations in actuality. Though, you'd never admit that.

A Week in the Life (tentative title), followup to the greenhouse fic and continuation of the Coven of Crows universe. Told through flashbacks to a time before WGNABP. Mostly gen crows-as-found-family with hints of Wesper, Helnik, Kanej, and Kuwei/Jesper (I forget if people use Kuwesper for just them or for them + Wylan oops). Probably rated T, probably 6 or 7 chapters. I've only written out a bit, the rest is all outline right now.

Other general ideas for Coven of Crows stuff that I'm happy to talk about!

The time travel crows fic (it has a title but I don't want to share it yet). All the crows ships, probably rated M, gonna be a longfic. I have some chapters written but I need to revise them because I changed my mind about some worldbuilding stuff. Time travel is hard to write, y'all!

I Won't Give Up Your Ghost, Julie & The Phantoms longfic, rated T or M. I have maybe 8 chapters of this written? The warriors plot hurt me a lot, every time they came back more and more years passed, god. And yet, I think you interpreted him very well. That game is so crazy that taking it seriously leaves you with very broken characters.

And lastly, I wanted to mention how absolutely beautiful the relationship between the entire chain was. A true family, a pack of links. Thanks for the fic, really.

HGSN Chapter 27-2 Thoughs

God I have so many thoughts and emotions on this chapter, idk if this won't just be some sort of word and screenshot vomit, so bear with me. Or don't idc.

1. So does this mean we could have a happy ending? We've got the end goal located now: Destroy the hole. But there's no way from a storytelling perspective that Len would make exactly what Tanaka outlined be the ending we get. It just wouldn't be wise to spoil their own ending like that. Which means we could get an ending where the hole is closed and 'Hikaru' doesn't self-destruct... maybe? Hopefully? Pretty pretty please?????

Okay now that I've got that delusion out of my system I need to yell about gay people.

Tanaka is laying it on thick, but not as thick as Yoshiki. He's ride or die now. To think what Yoshiki from the beginning or even the middle of the series would've said instead... that decapitation scare really made him realise some things, huh?

Also the continued usage of "go so far" that Yoshiki and 'Hikaru' have been using at each other the whole series long is just. UGH. Why DO you go so far for each other time and time again, huh?

But also! We still don't 100% know if 'Hikaru' killed Matsuura-san, because he is unsure and denies it when Yoshiki accuses him of it, and he doesn't usually lie to Yoshiki. Plus there's something I noticed on my reread:

Matsuura-san's eyes look so similar to Takeda Gramps' eyes just before the impurity took over. So my guess is that Matsuura-san was entered into and 'Hikaru' registered that sub-consciously, did away with the impurity, and Matsuura-san died as a result, same as Takeda. Doesn't explain the hand shoved down her throat, but then again that doesn't make sense even if 'Hikaru' did it. So I think it's a pretty solid theory.

Or maybe the whole knocking on the door was just a delusion and the hand down her own throat was Matsuura-san trying to get the impurity out of her? And the thing we see around the corner is the impurity breaking out after the host expired? Idk man... Lots of thoughts.

Hi! Another person here asking about Water's Edge (sorry). This is kind of an insight into your writing and your life, so if you don't feel comfortable with that or just don't wanna share, feel free to ignore this!

You're thinking of discontinuing the series because of lack in interaction, right? I can't think of a smooth way to transition into my question, so I'll just put it bluntly:

Is writing Water's Edge (specifically) something that you're doing for interactions or something you're doing for fun?

That question alone should determine whether or not you should discontinue the series.

If you're doing this purely for interactions, I'd say that I can't really help you. It's up to you if your writing is purely based on interactions.

If it's for fun, then consider how much fun you're having while doing this. Are you having fun writing it? Does it feel more like a chore than something you'd like to do? If it feels like a burden, then stop. Discontinue the series. If it feels like a burden because of interactions, try and disregard interactions and focus on writing. Never let views, interactions, likes, shares, comments, etc– determine the worth or fun of your writing. Ever. You may already know that, but it's just a reminder. If you really liked where the series was headed, then I'd say finish that chapter and see how things go. If you're happy with it and proud of what you did, then I'd say consider continuing it. If you feel like either a huge burden was lifted after finishing it or just genuinely exhausted, try taking a break or just discontinuing it completely. Personally, I was a really consistent poster once. It got boring and exhausting trying to think of new ideas. I'm now only posting once every 2 months, maybe? I feel much better.

Take my advice if you want, but you don't need to be completely swayed by my opinions or personal thoughts. Just take it into consideration. I personally really like Water's Edge. The storyline is interesting and the formatting is unique. I'd love to see more of it, but it'd be awful if you decided to put your work before yourself. If you do discontinue it, please take care of yourself.

Note: Maybe writing shorter chapters will make it less of a chore? The first two chapters were really long. Idk I'm not a writer. Just an idea.

Just something to be recognized would have gone a long way but — that’s something the old me would say. I was re-reading the last few chapters and I feel really bad of having to leave it on the table, completely forgotten, because this fic — writing this fic rather – is the closest thing I have to an actual baby :’3

But you’re right, I did a lot of thinking and I’m guessing we’re back on, this is something I’ll see through to the end. However bitter it may be.

Mikan Tsumiki has Histrionic Personality Disorder

I bet you thought I was joking about typing up a whole analysis on this. Let me preface this by saying I'm not histrionic myself, so please let me know if I make any mistakes when discussing this.

This is less of a headcanon, and more of a theory due to the large amount of evidence, that being said, if you dislike or disagree with it, that's a-okay!

To those unfamiliar with HPD, Wikipedia defines it as "a personality disorder characterized by a pattern of excessive attention-seeking behaviors, usually beginning in early adulthood" which certainly fits what we see of Mikan in canon.

That being said, we should point out that Mikan's behaviours in high stress situations like a killing game isn't equivalent to how she'd behave normally. That being said, lets get into the actual diagnostic criteria for HPD!

I think we can right away check off E, since deliberately falling in suggestive positions is one of Mikan's main character quirks. I could post the CG of her doing this as evidence, but lets not.

I also feel like D is another easy criteria to mark off, since most of Mikan's relationships are characterized by her desire for approval and appreciation. This is most notable with her abusive relationship with Junko, but we also see some shades of this during her FTEs with Hajime, implying it isn't specific to this bad relationship.

Mikan needs somebody in her life that forgives her existence, and every action, both positive and negative, she takes. But that isn't all the evidence that I have that Mikan is continuously seeking appreciation and approval from others, since its a large part of her talent.

A lot of ways Mikan gets positive attention from others is through nursing them back to health, and its one of the few areas in her life she feels confident in. That being said, in one of her FTEs she says some... questionable things about her patents.

And here it is again in Danganronpa S, showing it wasn't just her phrasing things oddly.

Her working as a nurse isn't completely altruistic, since she feeds off the attention and power she has over her patients.

I think that checks off "continual seeking for excitement, appreciation by others, and activities in which the patient is the centre of attention" really solidly. I have less evidence for the rest of the diagnostic criteria, but I believe they fit anyway. I feel like she fits "self-dramatization, theatricality, exaggerated expression of emotions;"

but its a bit harder to say for sure due to a lot of Danganronpa characters doing the same thing, so its unclear how normal Mikan's reactions are in her own universe.

Mikan has one of the more extreme breakdowns of the series, but she was not entirely in her right mind at the time, so idk if I should count it. She also has a very extreme shot to the heart event compared to other characters, where Hajime must propose to her to get the best ending.

Here are some quotes where she has a very exaggerated emotional expression, for your consideration. ""Ah! I-I'm sorry for laughing so suddenly! I-It's just...I can't help it. I'm just so happy, I can't remember the last time I made any friends... Ah, not that you actually want to be friends with me! I'm soooo sorry I said something so...presumptuous! I'll do anything you say... Just...please don't hate me...!"" ""Ah, so in the end...you're all just a bunch of bullies, huh? Justifying your actions with fancy words... M-Making excuses for why it's not really your fault... E-Everyone always treats me like that... Always... "It's all her fault..." "Sh-She's the one with the problem..." I...I'm done with that! You hear me!? I'm doooooooooone! It's not fair...It's not fair not fair not fair notfair notfair notfair notfairnotfairnotfairnotfairnotfair... Why won't you forgive me!? If you did something wrong...you'd forgive yourself right away...! What did I do!? Why won't anybody forgive me!?""

I also think there's a solid argument for her meeting the "over-concern with physical attractiveness." criteria! It is the main way she gets attention, after all. A lot of her comments have to do with her body, and a lot of the presents she likes are things she can wear.

So long as you belive one of the 'maybe' criteria, then she has enough for a proper HPD diagnosis.

I'm really looking forward to catching up on some I've started and taken a break from. I'm actually currently reading several series right now, just all but one of them (not including BNHA) is on hold.

I need to catch up on Blue Exorcist and Black Butler. I think those will be 2 of my priorities. I would really like to catch up and then watch the new anime seasons that have come out for them that are continuing the original story from the manga. Just so happens that lucky me, they both got new seasons continuing their stories like right at the same time.

I also need to catch up on D.Gray-Man, but honestly I need to re-read it (again) before I play catch up. Given the slow pace it releases at, this isn't a priority atm but I will do it eventually. I've been following the manga since I was 15 years old so I WILL be doing it justice by making sure I fully understand everything going on when I read the chapters.

I'm a volume-only reader of Durarara and still have one volume that is currently out in english to read before I'm as caught up as I possibly can be, but also this comes out at a slower pace so it's not a high priority right now.

I did start Daemons of the Shadow Realm (Arakawa's new series) and made it to chapter 8 some time last year, but then life got in the way and I couldn't focus on it. I've been collecting the volumes so I can read the physical copies as they release as much as I can before reading it online. This one is a priority as I've been super excited about it ever since I heard it was going to exist. So this will come sooner rather than later.

I also started Choujin X WAAAAYYYY back when it first released but for the same reasons as always life was just too busy and BNHA took up too much brain space. I've heard it's really good, and would like to start it over and continue reading it as it releases, so I'm looking forward to that. Not a priority so it might be a while, but I will be reading this one also.

I have had a tab open to Delicious Dungeon open for months. Since it's actually completed, I'd really like to knock that one out soon. So priority-wise, this may come before all of the others on this list.

I'm also currently reading, and fully caught up on Oshi no Ko, which is now probably my favorite ongoing series out of all of the ones I'm invested in right now. The only series that isn't on hold. Despite BNHA taking up so much brain space, this manga managed to keep its spot in my brain. I super love it, and it's in its final arc. So I'm really excited to see that one through to the end.

Non-manga things, I'm in love with Hazbin Hotel. Even though it'll be a bit before we get the next content release, this one still lives rent free in my brain so.

But yeah, I've actually been anticipating BNHA ending for some time now because of all these other things I want to read but just...couldn't. Lol. Now I'll be able to. And it'll help me cope with the ending of BNHA better I think, and help me shift into the mindset of "these people aren't real I can do with them what I want". Because for most series I actually have a way easier time with that, but for BNHA I was just way to invested in canon making me happy. The only other series I have the same intensity for right now is Hazbin, with one particular character also (guess who). So we'll see how that goes, though I trust the creator of that series significantly more....lol. But I'd like to be able to detach and have fun from now on rather than...dwell. Idk.

But yeah anyway I'm super excited for all the things listed above!

Snow (Let's Not Lose Ourselves) is one my earlier BSD pieces that I never finished because I hit a snag with a certain scene. However, I really want to get back to it since what I have down already I'm actually quite happy with.

It's a gen fic about the first snowfall of the year in Yokohama and how the Agency and Port Mafia are, surprisingly, having a peaceful day for once. Sort of like a Wan chapter but more with the tone of the series proper. There's also a winter market - idk if Yokohama actually has those but there were vendors and stands in the early winter around my area and I always loved those so... I'm sending sskk there for a break hehe. Or, well, they are at least minimally civil to each other lol

I also took the time to have a few character interactions that aren't seen in the series - Tanizaki, Kyouka, Ranpo and Lucy / Atsushi and Poe / Kenji and Higuchi - basically I'm just having fun and it's just meant to be a kind of calm, peaceful, bittersweet piece.

I've got a few exchanges below the cut that I'd like to share :) I was a good halfway done this one, so there's a lot more to share for this than the others.

In order, we have: Ranpo and Kyouka peer-pressuring Tanizaki, Poe being unhinged in front of a concerned Atsushi, and sskk just barely holding back from brawling in the middle of the market hjdbfhjldh

           “But then it won’t be the first snow!”            Ranpo had sidled up behind them at some point during their conversation, his hands laced casually behind his head, the stick of a lollipop clicking rhythmically between his teeth. Tanizaki jumped slightly from the volume of his interjection. Kyouka barely responded. She must’ve sensed his approach.            “Ah, but there’ll be other snows…” Tanizaki trailed off lamely, gesturing with a shrug made heavy by the weight of his stack of documents.            “He-llo?” Ranpo interrupted, popping the lollipop out and gesticulating irritably. “It’s not the same!”            “It isn’t,” Kyouka agreed quickly, then they both turned to stare at Tanizaki, who gulped. It was bad enough having Ranpo’s scrutinizing gaze boring holes into the depths of his being, but to have Kyouka fix him with her big eyes and a barely repressed pleading look behind them…            “I… I want to, really! But… but I don’t know what to do about it!”            At this, Ranpo let out a deep sigh.            “I know I’m the only one with a brain around here, but really? The solution is obvious, don’t you think?” he shrugged indifferently, popping the lollipop back into his mouth. “Shachou’s out.”            “You-” Tanizaki floundered, then in a hushed whisper, “we’re gonna get in trouble!”

           “Hang on. If you didn’t think you were invited, why did you tag along with Kenji and I?”            “I was already headed here…” Poe muttered, then he straightened back up sudden as a flash, alarming both Atsushi and Karl, who let out an irritated little squeak. The man clenched a fist dramatically, a manically gleeful grin spreading across his face.            “I have it from a reliable source that a certain group of vendors will be present on this day only - artisanal candy makers from out of the country!”            “Your source being… Alcott-san?”            “Well,” Poe coughed, deflating slightly. “Perhaps. But!” he continued, his energy restored. “The point is that the candy they make is apparently quite unique to them! I daresay Ranpo-kun has never had anything like it!”            “Oh!” Atsushi smiled, finally understanding. “You’re here to get a present for Ranpo-san! That’s nice! I was actually going to look for something for Kyouka-chan as well, maybe we could both-?”            “It’s not a present! It will be… my victory over him.”            “Your. Wha?”            “Ranpo-kun doesn’t know about the artisans. Even if he did – which is unlikely but I must not underestimate his skill �� they were supposed to leave before the market opened due to a last-minute change of plans. But! Then there was an even more last-minute change of plans that allowed them to stay one more day! Due to the short time-frame, they should still be in the process of setting up on the opposite side of the market, and as such, word has not quite spread to anyone except for the market organizers. However, certain interested parties like to stay informed on events throughout Yokohama, including Fitzgerald, which naturally means that Fitzgerald does not know anything but Louisa does. She informed me of the changes and I was able to slip out through the window, as no one had noticed I was present for the past half-hour. After that, it was child’s play to join your shopping expedition group by simply blending in!”            “You tried to ask us. We didn’t hear you the first three times and then you just started walking with us.”            “Be that as it may! The point is that Ranpo-kun has no way of suspecting that I am currently purchasing him these candies, and even if he did! He has no way of knowing what kind of candies these are specifically! And when he takes them and opens them with an expression of surprise and joy… I will be triumphant! As his sworn rival, I will finally have bested him… heh heh heh…”            Poe trailed off his increasingly sinister monologue with a dark chuckle. Atsushi once again made the brave choice not to ask any further questions.

           Atsushi and Akutagawa remained in the middle of the main path, side-eyeing each other with a bitter animosity.            “…I’m going to that vendor over there,” Atsushi finally said, starting to step slowly backwards, unwilling to take his eye off the mafioso for too long.            “Find a different one,” Akutagawa said coolly, striding right past him. “That’s where I’m going.”            “Get your own!” Atsushi snapped, turning and picking up the pace to try and outpace the man.            “Don’t walk next to me.”            “Don’t cut me off!”            They exchanged barbs and insults all the way up to the vendor. The owner smiled at them as they approached, but her smile was a little uncertain as she glanced between them nervously.            Atsushi smiled back to alleviate her concern and began perusing the vendor, impressed with her work. She must have been some kind of ceramics craftswoman – little models of carefully glazed flowers, animals and people were artfully decorated in detailed patterns. He crouched down to get a better look at the sign next to it with the pricing options. He winced a bit at the cost.            Above him, he just barely heard the low mutterings of an exchange between Akutagawa and the owner, a sigh, and then the sound of snow crunching as the man crouched beside him to peer at the same sign.            Frustrated by his seeming inability to shake the mafioso off, Atsushi readied a retort on his tongue and a glare in his eyes, only to pause.            Akutagawa looked exhausted.            His dark eyes stared at the sign almost vacantly. His shoulders were tense but slumped over, and a slight shiver ran through his thin frame, bundled though he was in a thick coat and long scarf. He coughed, quietly as usual, into the palm of his hand but Atsushi’s keen hearing could pick out the stronger wheeze and rattle from his lungs.            Despite himself, he felt the stirrings of a pang of sympathy roiling in his stomach, combating fiercely against the tension and anger he usually felt around him. They weren’t enemies in this moment, Kenji had said, so there was no reason they couldn��t coexist but… it was Akutagawa. He struggled for several moments with his internal conflict, indecisive on whether or not he should say something. His mind was ultimately made up for him when Akutagawa fixed him with a quizzical, suspicious stare, leaving him in the awkward position of having to justify his reason for having stared at him first for so long. He’d just have to be casual. “So… what brings you here? To the market, I mean. On this day – today, you know, uh… nice weather?” Akutagawa stared at him as if he’d grown a second head. On second thought, maybe he just shouldn’t speak. Ever. Akutagawa mumbled something under his breath that even Atsushi’s keen hearing couldn’t parse. “Erm, sorry, what, uh, what was that?” “Gift shopping,” Akutagawa muttered, a little more clearly, like the concept offended him.

(Chimera Teto x Android Miku WIP, another one, yeah, another one lol)

I may not finish WIPs but I can definitely start new drawings!! 😂Hahahaha ! I always try to make them chibis (for simplicity) but I also want to draw details/the full body, so of course it turns into a double full-body drawing that takes forever.... This isn't even the final lineart obviously but it's almost 5 AM again and I know I'm gonna fuss with this some more, so I guess here's a WIP so I can show off what I did at least tonight xD In case I decide to do other things in the meantime...

Tell me why I literally spent like 2 hours (fr) trying to draw Miku 'cuz Miku is hard asf to draw and challenges me to draw better 😂😂😂😂 Anyway (a long-ish) explanation of stuff under the read more 'cuz I don't want to take up people's dashboards. When I finally finish this drawing or the other one, I won't have to yap as much in the post too. xD

A series of things happened today that led to me creating this drawing. (Miku's prefinal lineart is done too btw, I'm just not showing her to you 'cuz no point spoiling the whole drawing lol, plus I might make changes.)

I went to the store for a brief moment 'cuz all my pens kept running out of ink and I was annoyed I didn't have any reliable pens and I wanted a pen to write a continuation to this AU, right.

When I went to the store, there was a song playing and I thought it sounded nice, what little I heard of it before I had to return to work. So once I left the store and was able to look at my phone again, I looked up this song through the lyrics I heard and I found it. And the whole song was even better than I thought: the lyrics and music are INCREDIBLY sweet and now I really like it. xD

Besides liking it in general as a song (this genre of song), I was ALSO super into it because I thought, "This is super End of the World AU-coded (Android Miku x Chimera Teto)" and it made me so happy, excited, and giddy lol.

Like, listen to this...

"When the cloud's above your head / And the sun's not breaking through / You know I'll be there to sing this song for you. / And it goes: / La la la / la la la la la~..."

This is absolutely something the Miku in my AU would sing. This is absolutely a song she and Teto would listen to together-- like, I could draw them listening to it together and that's actually practically what my drawing is lol. I could draw an animatic or make an MV to this song about them... I could make a comic where Miku is singing this directly to Teto and persuades her to sing it with her, especially the chorus (la la la) parts. I smile because in the first fic, Miku also goes "lalala~" (idk the number of la's lol), and it's not like what she sings is this or anything, but it's a small connection that I like. xD I literally discovered this song only today but this is absolutely a song Teto would have in either one of the cassette players or in the MP3 player. This song matches them and the AU too so Miku would absolutely sing it and like it a lot too. This song made me think of my AU and I was already excited/trying to keep writing more so I could get to the good parts, so finding this song made me really excited, ok. xD

Also I'm not sure how you WOULDN'T adore Miku if she sang something like this, especially directly to Teto (her only audience).

All the sweet lines and stuff made me super soft, so I put this song on loop and literally played it for hours. The whole time I was drawing too. It's just so cute and fitting and it's what made me create art for this AU again instead of making Turing Love fanart or one of the other dozens of ideas I have and whatnot. xD

That was a lot of words to explain what prompted this drawing in the first place when it wasn't planned in the slightest, but now I'll talk more about the drawing itself.

I was inspired by all the fanart I've received so far! It'll show in the final drawing. c: But when drawing this, I was looking at Slyvasta's art since I wanted to draw Slyvasta's version of Teto too. Teto is easiest to draw imo, so we've got the scarf, horn, wings, and tail. The pupils were actually added at the very end 'cuz Slyvasta's has sharp pupils and I thought that was cool and a good idea lol: this Teto's eyes can have sharp pupils (dragon/reptile-like) while Miku's eyes are more round yet robotic.

I was thinking about the flavor of tsundere that Teto is (in my AU) and this drawing was partially inspired by me wanting to clarify stuff about that. xD I did call her "cool, gruff, indifferent, etc." which is all true and does apply, but she's still playful and can be lively, even if she's been beaten down by exhaustion and gloominess, as I've mentioned. In other words, she never was a complete downer or anything (I know I said that before), but I wanted to clarify that she's not, like, the cold type who's ONLY frowning or who's grumpy either.

If I think about it, the "trying to act cool/indifferent" thing is mostly an act I think, yeah. xD Like, of course she'll frown or have a neutral uninterested expression if she's bored or she's been through annoying experiences (like starving or encountering various issues), but she's still kicking, if that makes sense. Like, the enthusiasm and zest for life isn't exactly there, but she's doing what she can to get by. I guess she's more of the type to distract herself and focus on other stuff so she doesn't get too existential? So it's not like she isn't lowkey depressed-- she's just the type to make jokes about it. She's basically original mischievous Teto but with some baggage she's carrying.

This might seem like a weird post now based on the stuff I'm writing LOL but I really did think about it, ok. xD The way to characterize her. And she has really valid reasons to be sad and everything, but she's not as harsh and edgy as her appearance implies. That's something that I really like about her: the gap moe lol.

So what does this mean in relation to Miku? Well, Teto is a pretty normal girl who's cool and nonchalant. She's probably arrogant in a cute way too, judging from her catchphrase and how she likes acting like a know-it-all and being praised/appreciated. But basically, the tsundere mainly comes out whenever she gets embarrassed.

The Teto in my AU can smile and has a couple of times, and she's nice because she helps Miku out before she even knows Miku that well. So....

She's probably the type to send Miku soft smiles without even realizing it. Like, she relaxes a lot and is happy or something and then her expression will turn so warm or gentle, I'm pretty sure. 🥰 Her tail and body language already gives her away, so I love the idea of her expression changing into a really affectionate one before she even notices or realizes it. She realizes she's been smiling the whole time after 5 whole minutes pass or Miku points it out and then she's like, "I-I wasn't smiling or anything?! (unsure why she's immediately denying it)" lol.

Anyway, THAT'S when the tsundere comes out. She isn't tsundere towards Miku unprompted, and even though Teto doesn't know how to deal with Miku YET, that doesn't mean Teto walks on eggshells around her or is curt/cold to her. Teto acts very naturally and herself-- she only gets tsundere whenever she's NOT acting like herself, aka being really weak or soft for Miku at different moments.

Her tsundere is a weak kind of tsundere too (unlike Neru, who isn't in this AU anyway), so she'll just get embarrassed or lie or act kinda awkward or prickly to hide her embarrassment (maybe a sharp word or two, along the lines of "Shush" and "Shuddup"), but in the end, she's a very cute and kind girl. 🥰 They both are 🥰🥰🥰

It might take me one or two more iterations before I'm finally satisfied with the final lineart, but this time, I made the time lapse longer, so you'll be able to see how I struggled to draw Miku for like 2 whole hours. xD

This, too, I want to color. I actually wanted to color my first drawing first, but then I discovered the song I mentioned earlier and it made me so hyped up that I wanted to create a whole new piece about it. Along with the other two songs that I associate with this AU, I was really happy to find yet another one. This song is cute in general too, so it was immediately added to my Motivation playlist. xD

With how hard Miku is to draw and how long drawing takes in general, it makes me even more impressed with Miku artists lol. Like, Miku is so demanding but I love her so of course I'll push through until I do her justice... I'm slow because I care a lot and want to do these two right, ok... xD Lineart and the like is more in my comfort zone, but I'll definitely tackle coloring soon; tonight's session only proves that it'll take longer than I expected/5 hours lol.

I'm not only planning to create stuff for my AU only-- I want to make all kinds of Mktt stuff. But I was really inspired by other people's art and this time, I even drew with their art in mind lol.

I have no idea how long it'll take, but I'll continue to make more art! To me, it's the clearest way I show/understand my love lol. I've been inspired seeing other people's art too, so I definitely wanted to draw my own....

Anyway, time to go tf to sleep. (it's 6 AM 😅)

Some thoughts about Season one of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

There might me minor spoilers.

Within one week, I have started and finished watching the first season of Agents of Shield for the first time. I started it thinking 'Why not? Just try it'. I didn't really like the plot in the beginning, but I still stayed and continued. Why? Because of the characters.

I loved Coulson in the Avengers and was really happy that this series would give us more Coulson content. Just two days before I started watching AoS, I've rewatched The Avengers with a couple of friends and was, for the first time really, absolutely - sad? I don't know, it doesn't seem like the right word - by Coulson's death. But I'm glad I've rewatched it once again before watching AoS and so learning what happend to him after Avengers.

When Skye was introduced in the very beginning of the first episode, I was kind of afraid of her? Idk, just the way she stared at the happenings and recording it, while I didn't have that much of a clue what was going on there, that I had the feeling that I was supposed to know whether or not she was on S.H.I.E.L.D.'s side - it made me kinda scared. That doesn't make really sense and looking back, I probably wouldn't feel that way anymore when I'd watch the first episode again, but still.

I honestly don't really remember what I've thought of Ward at first. He was some good-looking agent who was just there, I don't know. As the episodes went on, I started appreciating him more, which was unfortunately shattered by the fact that can't keep my hands off the internet when watching a series and so read some spoilers about Ward.

I'd feel bad if I didn't write anything about May but I'm afraid there isn't much to say. Just like Ward, she was there. And that's probably it. I say probably because it it possible that I have thought something else about her when she first appeared that I simply can't remember.

Last but not least, Fitzsimmons. I'll talk about them separately in a second but first: I've shipped them from the first episode on. And second: It took me quite some time (about three quarters of the first episode) to realise that Fitzsimmons are, in fact, two persons. And third: when they were first introduced, I really didn't realise that they were friends and that was just their style of talking to each other, I thought they were introduced by fighting with each other.

But now Jemma. Jemma. She is just so sweet, I really love her. Just like Ward, I don't really remember what I've thought of her at first, but with the crucial difference that I know that I have loved her from the very first second she appeared. I'm actually kind of sad I can't recall my first thoughts.

Same with Fitz. It doesn't feel like there was a first time I've seen him. And definitely not just a week ago. It feels like I've known him, known them all for wayyy longer than one week. Fitz isn't just sweet, he's also adorable. The way he acts, that he can be so different. Productive, emotional, jealous, angry, friendly, I just love him. Side note: Since english isn't my first language, I started the series in german, to get settled and used to the pace, and after about three (I think) episodes switched to english with english subtitles. Best decision. I can't believe I wouldn't have experienced Iain De Caestecker's scottish accent, including one of my favorite lines so far, that I have not only replayed many times in my head since I've first heard it, but also replayed the sentence WHEN I first heard it, which is ("When did you stop talking") "About three embarrassing sentences ago"

Buuuuut back to Fitzsimmons. As I said earlier, I tend to look up the series I'm watching on the internet, which causes spoilers. Well, I pretty much ask for them if I'm stupid enough to go on the internet. Anyway, by doing so, I learned that Fitzsimmons will be a thing later on, BUT I don't want to believe it just yet, because I also have read a lot of things that I don't understand yet. So I will sit and watch and learn about them and everyone and everything else while the show goes on.

One question (which is partly rhetoric because I have a feeling that it will be clearer to me when I've watched more seasons, but still): Why do Fitz and Simmons call each other by their last names? And why does Fitz sometimes use "Jemma" but Simmons never "Leo"? Maybe it's just me but it doesn't seem right that they use their last names, even though they're best friends.

To come back to what I've said in the beginning, that I didn't really like the plot in the beginning and kinda just stayed for the characters. It's true. But maybe I was just tired when watching the first four or so episodes or the plot just got better, but I'm glad I kept watching because the plot GOT better, and I still love all the characters (except Ward), maybe even more than in the beginning. No, definitely more than in the beginning. Mostly Skye. But also everyone else. But: Fitz and Simmons are and will always be my favorites and nothing, really nothing, can change that. (I hope I won't regret saying this later)

This is supposed to be first sentence of my last 10 AO3 works.

But I'm modifying like... everything lol - I play with format with my writing and one thing I definitely do a lot is quote lines from the canon, so I'm going to be putting first few sentences/paragraph/sequence to work past those and for consistency. And like @mx-myth I'll also be adding a few last sentences for the few published works I have, just for fun. I'm including wips because I don't have a large body work. For WIP it'll be first sentence only. lmao is this the same tag challenge at all?

01. SAMSARA ( wip - Mysterious Lotus Casebook: FangDi - with past DiHuaDi - transmigration rebirth modern AU with a deeply traumatized actor Di Feisheng trying to both rescue this world's version of LLH while also running away from him and FDB with all his might.)

Imagine this: you live, you kill, you lick dirt from the shoes of your masters. You fail to die so many times you begin to wonder if you're immortal.

02. everything looks small - we gave up on those happy endings (wip MLC - This is the story I've been torturing myself with the past 2 months: Trio + Wuyan and a random Hulijing)

"Do you not remember me at all? Does the name Di Feisheng mean anything to you?" Li Lianhua smiles as he gathers his winnings. "Of course I remember you. You're my kind and rich friend." But that can't be right, Fang Duobing thinks as Li Lianhua tells him about his recently made acquaintance over dinner, his sightless eyes shining with a familiar brightness - just for a moment. That can't be right, because Di Feisheng has been missing for months.

03. 囍 Marriage (wip MLC - There are a lot of dead brides and ruined marriages in this series so I'm continuing the tradition. fanghua with possible difanghua and difanghuajlq. Sorta.)

He wakes choking, clawing free from the ropes binding his wrists to press trembling fingers to agonized lips that are sewn shut with some kind of fine thread. There is a golden ingot trapped behind his teeth, stretching his jaw open against strained stitching. He chokes as he struggles to breathe through his nose and the lump of metal presses against the back of his tongue to slip further against his throat. He's terrified the blackness means he's also been blinded.

04. flight is something done willfully (wip MLC - fangdi, immediately post-canon - something something about having to finally deal with fdb's trauma surrounding loss and abandonment and dfs having a fuckton of patience in dealing with fdb's prolonged panic attack that mobilizes a small militias, the Minister of the Treasury, and sigu sect leadership)

You made the mistake of thinking words would finally be acceptable. After all, you are now free. A potential cure for poison has been handed over. All is well.   You can relax and open your mouth and actually let real words come out. But the thing is, your tacit understanding only lasts as long as neither of you try to actually communicate.

05. The Universe of Us : When you lose a person, a whole universe goes along with them (wip MLC - timeloop and a battle between opposing spirits)

When Fang Duobing and Di Feisheng meet again, it is at the same time, on the same beach where they find nothing but the ocean, a pile of fermenting seaweed and their own memories. They are like strangers absorbed in their own grief. It's no matter. To Di Feisheng, they met because of Li Lianhua, so it’s fitting that they are both strangers now without him.

06. 羽化成蝶 Metamorphosis (DFS' core is untouchable - idk where I'm going with this but the main concept is internal vs external form)

A familiar dao thumps onto the table as a handsomely dressed giantess seats herself across from Li Xiangyi. "I have the list," she says with no introduction. Her voice is low and fuzzy, like someone who's spent a lifetime with a pipe in hand and smoke in her lungs - it wasn't unpleasant. "Di-mengzhu," Li Xiangyi greets politely as he pours her tea. A faint wildness in his eyes is his only acknowledgement that he is facing something unexpected.

07. Pear Blossoms In Spring ( wip - Mysterious Lotus Casebook: FangDi - meant to be a silly romance but turned into a comedy about a shaoye who keeps comparing the love of his life to his favorite dead horse)

“Ah, this is the Iron Head Slave. Remember?” says Li Lianhua the Lying Liar gesturing to the tall, leggy beauty blocking their path. “His name is a-Fei.”

08. the moon is as bright as it was before (my first finished and posted fic in many years and it's an experimental thought piece for Mysterious Lotus Casebook)

the existence of a torture chamber beside the wedding bedroom and its contents shouldn’t be a surprise at this point. and yet… it’s the redundancy you find offensive. she has a multi-chamber dungeon. she has a water chamber in her own quarters. why must it extend here as well?

under the moon’s blessing, you smile back and for the first time in your life, you hope for the future.

09. I, Augustus (Tour Of the Merrimack - gay space roman that can't decide whether he wants to kill or fuck an american and which is worse? who knows)

It was sound that went first. Eardrums deadened, he careened off the bridge, chest so full of metal he'd lost count how many times he'd been shot. He could see the flash-bang of incendiary rounds as they were fired from both his fellow 300 and the advancing Americans, the light momentarily coloring roiling black smoke with flashes of pink and yellow.

He dreams instead of possibility, of new worlds and unmappable futures, their patterns varied and far reaching as the ever expanding universe.

10. An Affair to Remember: The Commissar and His Snake (Warhammer 40k fandom - A Guant's Ghosts story in the style of Ciaphas Cain)

Patterns:

For openings, whether it's with concept or actions/visual, I tend to drop the reader straight into the middle of a situation as a hook and then dial it backwards.

I favor punchy openings.

also like I said earlier, I like to quote or recreate a scene from the canon to quickly establish tone and position in the story

of the 3 endings I have here, all of them tend to be like the ending of a jdrama where it fades off toward a "and life goes on" vibe, rather than something stronger like "and then this happened". I don't forsee this changing much in the future. I tend to fade away by the time i reach an ending so either it's super abrupt or the wheel of life continues turning~~~

Please accept it all completely! Your writing is peak, and I mean, P E A K . know that the characterizations were on point that for others, it became so shocking cause that was certainly unexpected. You definitely did your research and all the time you spent mulling on this was WORTH IT! The improvement came as a plus too, seeing how much your writing has changed and how much better you've become since your quotev days is just- Incredible!

You know, I always thought that you were one of the if not, THE best yandere author I've ever come across back then. Your stories and writing were always on the top of the top. I'm really happy the characterization was accurate for the most part! That's always one of my biggest worries when I write for literally anything that isn't OC content. Mostly because whenever I read content for fandoms and series, I always cringe and resist the urge to stop reading when I read about characters doing something they totally wouldn't do. And I would never want any reader to react that way to my written work.

And yeah, haha, Quotev... I was way too young when I started on that platform but now I'm not so young anymore. I hope my writing skills grew with age. It would be embarrassing if it hadn't.

I'm really flattered that you think so highly of me, anon, especially because I don't think the same of myself. It's always uplifting to see others who think so positively of me, it's actually what gets me to continue writing. Maybe one day I can meet that good image of me some readers have of me in their mind. One day.
