These cards for IceDevimon and Gorillamon really put me in mind of their debut episodes of Digimon Tamers, while the Leomon card art is just straight up epic.
Edit: Pulled the alt art for Leomon!

Free day off and I was suppose to be working on my Digimon fanfic chapter ^^; to try and get in the mood better more Top 10 lists!
Sorcerimon- It's like Wizardmon but snazzier (Wizardmon is snazzy to) and one I have a bit of history with RP wise during a rather difficult time, so I have quite the attachment to it.
2. Kabuterimon - This mon just stood out so much from the original line up it simply stole your attention, it is so different to all the other Champions, on top of being Tento's digivolution to boot!
3. IceDevimon - This one off Digimon was unironically the best villain in Frontiers. While I have much to thank the Tamers version as it was an inspiration to a rather significant OC at the time, which really helped me deal with secondary school at the time, even if I wasn't aware of such outlet till I was much older.
4. Gulusgammamon - The Mon knows how to steal your attention and keep it but every appearance was great; I just wish they did more with him in the actual show, his concept was incredible but he spent most the show on the side-lines.
5. Devimon - The original main boss, part of its nostalgia, he was a great first boss, part of it simply for sharing the dub voice of M.Bison at the time and it worked wonders for its characters. (It is such a good voice \(^▽^)/)
6. BetelGammamon - It looks like a Sonic character, don't deny it! (I swear Digimon is having a phase, there's been quite a few who could tick that box in recent years.)
7. Starmon - I am a sucker for the Starmon line, a perfect example of less is more.
8. BlackGatomon Uver - Ok, so who didn't love this Mon when it showed up and still so mysterious, I hope they do more with it.
9. Centarumon - Joining the list of Mons with cool designs that they should do more with, it's always been an interesting one, which I'd like to see more off but it's always just been stuck in the background.
10. Snimon - A digimon for the longest time I thought was an Ultimate/Perfect... (makes you wonder why they struggled so much in the show?) It's another snazzy mon that just seems to have been forgotten to the ages.

Weekly Digimon Comic: Digimon Tamers - page 10
I had ENTIRELY too much fun making up parodies of all the stereotypical YouTube clickbait thumbnails for this... and of course, Patreon automatically scaled it down too much to read most of the text. Well, now it's unleashed on the rest of the internet, where that sort of things totally never happens.
...but yeah, this isn't even one of those "Oh, that aged poorly" jokes that people make today to feel smarter than people older than themselves. I vividly remember even back when episode 10 first came out, everybody was making Bad Touch jokes about IceDevimon even then. AND WE WERE RIGHT TO DO SO.

Tentomon, IceLeomon and Cherrymon with tamer, who is unable to feel pain, please?
Tentomon
Tentomon finds that fascinating. Asking if it's some kind of condition of their nerves or something that made it to where they just... couldn't feel any pain. He always loves to learn, and this information interested the little Digimon quite a lot. Everything could feel pain, how could his Tamer not feel it though?
Tenomon would probably try to do some research on his Tamer's condition. Trying to see just what was up and if there was a way to fix it. Sure, not being able to feel pain might be nice, but something seriously bad could happen to his Tamer and they wouldn't even know it if nothing alerted them beforehand! Tentomon never plans to let anything really hurt his Tamer but... still!
IceLeomon
IceLeomon finds his Tamer's lack of being able to feel pain quite interesting. He can near claim he has the same condition they do, as his training in cold climates made it to where he became much more able to take a hit and near not even feel it. He points it out just more to share the connection they could have when it comes to such a thing.
IceLeomon would invite his Tamer to train with him in the cold. He'd be aware of their condition at all times, for even if they wouldn't feel the pain of the bite of the cold they could still get quite injured with potential frostbite. If they both were to advocate for justice, he'd do everything to keep his Tamer safe, and to train them to be able to use their lack of feeling pain in a way to do more. Of course, he still silently worries... which is why he keeps such a close eye on them at that.
IceDevimon
Oh, he's quite intrigued. His Tamer can't feel pain? Really? In what way, though, he wonders. It must be physical only, everyone can feel a type of emotional pain. Even a Digimon much like IceDevimon has moments of wounded pride that could be considered moments of "hurt and pain", even if he'd never admit to it. He wants to see just how it works if his Tamer doesn't feel pain, but wouldn't go as far as to actually put them in danger. He's just curious on if they're right about it.
IceDevimon doesn't forget such a thing whenever his Tamer does something that could hurt them. They won't complain, but he still watches them closely. Humans were so fragile, no matter if they couldn't feel any pain he still silently worried in his own way over them. At least they wouldn't scream and cry whenever they broke something, surely their lack of feeling with pain could also quell that.
Cherrymon
Cherrymon is a lot like a grandparent to his Tamer. It doesn't matter how many times his Tamer tells him that they can't feel pain, Cherrymon still tells them to be careful every time they do something that could result in them getting hurt or injured. Just because they can't feel pain doesn't mean that they're invincible! They can still break something or get incredibly hurt in other ways!
Cherrymon just worries on what could happen when it came to his Tamer and their lack of feeling pain. Pain meant that things were wrong and could be fixed, but if his Tamer doesn't feel it, then things could be going on that they'd never know about. He keeps a close eye on his Tamer either way.

Little dumb thing, but I've been brewing this character for my novel series that is basically 'a demon who did so many good deeds that he became an angel, and now he is a hero who fights for peace and befriends humans and humans who have become angels'.
And with Digimon Next Order, I've been going in cycles of OCs being rep by different Digimon. And I now have a digivolution line that is 'Tiny devil -> Big devil -> Giant Robot Demon -> HERO'! And I'm just nerding out.

{Chosen of Faith} ~ The Fan Fic {COFTFF-Verse} (Original Precursor to Repeatverse) ~ Arc #2 { "A n g e r" } (Ken's {Mini}-Arc) + Hida IORI (vs.) Ice Devimon & KEN vs. Ice Devimon
"You're NOT 'LIKE' the OTHER {D i g i m o n} we were A F R A I D TO K I L L..." - I o r i
{Filed Under}: "Someone please encourage me into writing Iori again-- (the next arc was supposed to be 'Takeru''s and Iori WAS SUPPOSED TO Have Big Presence There--) {Its actually an Iori-centric arc too in the end shhh}...
*You can also tell this is old because of some old typos *I still very need to rewrite whole arc involvements, but this section I might half leave alone... *Also filed under ("It was foreshadowing for the next arc-- {where Iori will go through Yet More c HARACTER d EVELOPMEN---!!!"}) *Ken's line is Spoiler but was basically implying, "You're still a 'Dark {Digital Monster}'", a group of {Digital Monsters} who were the main 'enemies' of my old fic-verse. *It Might Not Even Have Been That (Was Ice Devimon TRULY a 'Dark' 'Digital Monster' in the sense of the noted group)- *Some of Iori's lines are also implying Spoiler{s} that happen involving another major character, which is exactly what Iori's referring to here (but leaving it vague until I can include implications in A.M.V.s)

Digimon Survive-esque evolutions for some of the spinoff protags
With the idea of the SMT characters fighting alongside their Digimon, they evolve based on the main attack type you have been using since their last form. These also correspond to the vaccine, data, virus trio of types.
The DS duo
Tumblr media
Honestly I started with Manticoremon then went backwards. It’s both demonic and angelic which I thought worked well. I liked the idea of going with a chimera route considering he absorbs the other Bels. Machinedramon is a combination of a bunch of ultimate Digimon. Shakamon is a jogress here. I didn’t use Chimeramon mostly because I used Milleniumon for another character.
Tumblr media
I kinda already used Lunamon😅. So I used Apollomon’s line instead. I didn’t use Gargomon because it felt very-dex. Of course I had to use Baihumon because of the anime.
DDS (I didn’t know what to do with Sera😅)
Tumblr media
Seraph’s starting element is ice so I went with that. I kinda wanted to use Shivamon but I couldn’t think of any way to transition it to that well. So I did a route focusing on the more demonic side to his character. I wish there were more IceDevimon related evolutions. There’s just not a lot of demonic ice Digimon. The white sprite is Omnimon Merciful Mode who I can’t explain for spoilery reasons.
The Persona trio (Sorry I haven’t played the first two)
I decided to have them represent data-vaccine-virus. I didn’t think the other way would work with persona really so I made it more like survive and based on if you make positive dialogue choices and do social links. I imagine the more you choose asshole options and act anti-social you would get the negative ones which is ironically just like Survive.
Tumblr media
The idea with going with Dorumon is because it has a death evolution where it evolves through dying. For obvious reasons I thought this was thematic (with death being a big part of P3). Its attacks are also fire based. The first white sprite is Jesmon GX and the other is Death X mon.
Tumblr media
I gave him Pulsemon because he becomes a lightning god. Yeah, it’s that simple. Unfortunately that led to me having to reuse some Digimon but it’s kinda unavoidable in some cases wherein there’s not many alternatives especially when it comes to the Ultras. As for going with AxeKnightmon it was more based on his personality in Xros Wars. I feel like the dark version of a persona protagonist would be a lot like him. Also I think the Pulsemon dark evo is best saved for a certain someone. I’m imagining Marie has Fenrirloogamon which he jogresses his Digimon with.
Tumblr media
I had to use Jokermon my hands were tied. I thought Beezlemon fits well because he’s also edgy and likes using guns. Also despite being a demon lord it’s often used as an anti-hero and has a big rebel vibe. Lucemon isn’t really an ultra. In this case it’s acting as Satanel with being his true mega. Considering Satan mode is supposed to be uncontrollable I thought that fit more for the negative one. The negative one was very hard to do.
For mainline:

Overthought about rearise again
Takumi anc mon are kinda sad to me, cause both are teens who grew up too fast, both because of the expectations on them, but also their circumstances
Takumi, having noticed the way his parents grew stressed over things, like him as a whole, made him mad, and then proceed to try and take on the issues of people who wre too "incompetent" to take them on. Like, i mean yeah, sure man, alright but like.
To me, it means he thought his own emotions and existence was a burden and tried to take them on himself. Thats a heavy thing to place on yourself, how did he get here from that? He was mad about it, thought of his parents as weak, and became strict on himself. And then his whole character arc was about him understanding that he too worries like they do, because they care, and i think it was him and dorumon becoming more vulnerable with their feelings, which is a really important thing for men to do.
Don't get me wrong, he's still kinda a jerk(a funny one to me) but also, arc 1 act 17, when he digivolved dorugamon to dorugreymon from pushing him, they were still injured weren't they?? Did he have to go home and patch himself up??? By himself??? Did he have to hide those injuries from the people around him for a few weeks??
But its also kinda sad he still kept the other tamers at arms length?? The tamers are vulnerable with their digimon, yes, but like, it feels like they never made friends with each other like the other kids do, except for like, michi and sara
Other than takumi, we have mon and shes sad to me too, because she grew up early, but not because she questioned her existence because of her caretakers, its more than that
The digimon of the village literally got massacred by an icedevimon because it wanted to have her make it stronger. She, as a human child, was saught out, and the people who loved her paid the price for that. Then she was saved by huckmon, and after something like that, she would be saving more digimon in the digital world.
But for a child, imagine how terrible it'd be to be too late sometimes to save some of those villages. Her existence becoming something where she needs to save the homes of others, and thats really sad to think about
Once the spirals started going around, and she had to gain the help of other tamers, i wonder how she felt when they tried to get her to have fun, when they tried to take her to the mall, chihiro letting her taste coffee. Did she ever feel like it was going to ripped away at any moment? She probably did

Digimon Frontier - Episode 36
What an odd episode. It was a 50-50 normal-filler split which I feel was awkward and disrupted the pacing. Especially if they're just going to go back to fighting Cherubimon after this, inserting a filler fight at this point feels like egregious padding. The fact that they tried to give IceDevimon, a guy who was defeated in half an episode, lore was pretty eye roll worthy. I guess I'm grateful he had slightly more personality than the usual villain of the week though.
Notes:
"Machinegun destroyer" is a pretty dumb attack name, but I feel like they made up for it with "starlight velocity."
I was glad to see KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon in action, visually their attacks were neat (damn those names are long, maybe I should just call them KG and MG lol)
The rest of the gang being reduced to cheerleaders was pretty funny.
They gave IceDevimon a Christopher Walken voice in the dub...wtf. That's like the least fitting voice they could have gone with. (Might as well spice up boring filler I guess!)
Junpei calling IceDevimon a pervert was a surprise lol. Of course that line was completely cut from the dub. (Although Izumi calls him a weirdo, which is close enough).
The idea that they accidentally unleashed IceDevimon by destroying Cherubimon's hideout at least gave him a reason to be there...still felt shoehorned in tho
For part of the episode I was distracted by the fact that IceDevimon's pants are the same color as his skin. His butt is pretty defined, so for a second I thought he was just naked lol. Digimon designs are...something else. (All his belts are very Final Fantasy)
I felt like the close up and soft lighting they did on Koji at the end there was giving romance vibes, not brotherly vibes (I do not ship the twins, the shot just looked like a POV shot from a shoujo anime or something lol).
Check out Koji's tiny arm in my last screenshot lol. Anatomy fail.
At this point, the Cherubimon stuff is starting to just feel dragged out. Maybe they'll justify it somehow, IDK.

Gigadramon's debut was even worse than as a random encounter in Digimon World. It was tied to distribution events, and those were lackluster: They involved handing out memory cards holding a file with the evolution items for Gigadramon, MetalEtemon and Panjyamon (which, like all recolors in that game, was the same level as the base and thus an Adult). As in, a new game with those in the inventory. However, evolution items in Digimon World work by triggering an evolution immediately, but not giving the stat or lifespan boost regular evolution gives. Moreover, those species wouldn't be registered on the evolution chart, and as the game is based on a reincarnation cycle like the V-Pets, they would go through their lifespan faster than usual, and leave no trace whatsoever about their existance unless saved for PvP. And, as the cherry on top, all 3 of those were mechanically reskins of their base counterparts, with a single difference: All 3 were Data attribute. Which may seem innocent enough, but that game had an area where only Vaccines could enter, and another where only Viruses could enter. So, event-only rare stuff that was worse than the original. At least IceDevimon had more dignity as a random enemy before it got jobs in the anime.
Oh wow. What a terrible way to handle special event monsters.

Be More Chill AU X Digimon general outline.
Be More Chill AU: A loose adaption of the musical that is a full on crossover with Digimon, based on the fan comic Digimon Zone. A bigger focus on Evolution and upgrades is placed due to the inclusion of Tamers and Digimon's bond and ability to Digivolve. In this version of events, dimensional peacekeepers, the Zoners and their Digimon investigate anomalies in the Network and its various Zones (universes that contains an Earth and a Digital World or Digital World approximation), and happen on a Zone where the Digital World hasn't been fully discovered by humanity yet, but Digimon have nevertheless been downloaded into strange, digital pills called SQUIPS that local human teens have been taking to improve themselves. Curious on what this could mean if the SQUIPS escape their native Zone. Dan Ike, Betamon, Izzy: and Tentomon investigate the matter, infiltrating Jeremy Heere's school as the highest SQUIP/Digimon activity is present there. The two boys befriend Jeremy and Micheal, and slowly expose them to the secret of Digimon, though Micheal was aware of the Digimon already, having become friends with a Shoutmon that appeared in his phone's music playlist.
Jeremy, in his quest to become popular and find someone to help him (despite Dan, Izzy: and Micheal's best efforts to dissuade him otherwise) takes a SQUIP, with his turning out to be a charismatic Algomon Ultimate who takes Jeremy under his wing. When it starts to take further control of Jeremy, Algomon assumes its Worm Phase form, wrapping Jeremy in its tentacles and controlling him like a puppet. When Jeremy manages to fully break away from Algomon later on, it Digivolves into its Mega Level to reassert itself. Jeremy's actual Partner Digimon would turn out to be a Veemon.
Digimon hail from the Digital World like usual, but like Digimon Adventure: and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, some Digimon have been creeping into the Real World via the Internet, which is how Micheal met Shoutmon. Others have been downloaded into SQUIPs by a currently unknown source that the Zoners are investigating. Like Digimon Ghost Game and Digimon Fusion, Digimon usually can't be seen properly by other humans. Those with SQUIPs are usually the only ones aware of them, though Micheal became aware of Shoutmon after finding what he thought was a weird animated gif (Shoutmon's V-Pet sprite) dancing to Bob Marley on his phone. When Digimon manifest in the Real World, like Digimon Ghost Game, they initially take on Hologram Ghost forms. Dan and Izzy:'s Betamon and Tentomon also do so, causing other kids with SQUIPs to assume their Digimon are SQUIP AI.
Before Jeremy gets his SQUIP, he can't see the other Digimon at first on his own, finding he can only see them and ensuing fights via his phone. Similar to SSSS.Gridman, the SQUIP Digimon can be seen via phones and other digital equipment like laptops and game consoles, which Dan and Izzy: use to identify those with SQUIPs. Rich Goranski's SQUIP would be identified as a Kurisarimon that would later on attempt to take control and Digivolve to Infermon, forcing Dan's Majiramon, Izzy:'s MegaKabuterimon, and Micheal's OmniShoutmon to intervene. Like Ghost Game, Digimon can see and touch each other while in their Hologram state, though they can cause damage to their physical surroundings which Dan and Jeremy's group attempt to contain.
Other identified SQUIP Digimon so far include Soulmon, Gururumon, Morphomon, Eosmon, Goblimon, SkullMeramon, Fugamon, Burpmon, Etemon, Betsumon, Soundbirdmon, Crowmon, Wisemon, Bokomon, Neemon, Starmonz, Impmon, Mamemon, Dobermon, Terriermon, Wendigomon, IceDevimon, and Eyesmon.
