The barbie template was funny until ppl keep twisting characters to make them fit and also just ppl running the joke thru the ground IN LESS THAN A WEEK, i hate how the internet does that, there is this thing called welcome home thats like a normal person's passion oc art project they decided to share online and the moment it was done ppl latched onto it like leeches and started saying its an arg when its not, and haven't let it go, the creator has made many disclaimers about it and had to take a break from the internet bcs ppl inmediatly started making porn about it (the characters are literally cute puppets btw) and bcs ppl started being nasty and it took less than a week for the whole internet to be saturated by this thing that was someone's hardworked in passion project, ppl grabbed the characters and twisted them to fit into prompts and tropes and made fanfiction and art twisting the characters to the point that they arent THE characters anymore and honestly if i decided to share my ocs online and ppl latched onto them and played with them like they were some company's public characters and did that stuff to them i would literally reply "kys for this, this fucking sucks" in every fan art i saw that i didnt like lmao hate the fandomification of the internet and how it kills things in hours

this is literally my worst nightmare as an artist omg. media illiteracy ruining everything. you either have ppl ignoring original content they swear they want when in reality they want to take corporate mad content and turn the all the white cishet characters into 'diverse' ocs OR they latch onto something original and force it to be like ridiculously pornographic against the creators wishes god........im with you tho. if i saw fan work totally removing what makes my characters unique im getting in the replies telling them their shit sucks don't even touch my character again read a dr seuss book you idiot bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Quiet Lady Day

I still haven't been feeling well so we kept our Lady Day/Spring celebration pretty quiet. My partner found a dairy free and gluten free cheesecake in our grocery store and picked it up on a whim.

What's more spring than a tornado watch? I'm not in the watch area so it's nice to have a chance to listen in and just practice looking at radar scans and compare how I do with the stream. Pairs nicely with our cheesecake.

Also pictured is our new flower calendar and my grandmother's pink perpetual calendar.
