Do you have any Radioapple fic recommendations (other than OSAS which I ADORE!!) I need good distractions from reality

no shade to any other authors out there (they’re amazing and they’re the backbone of our society) but once i found osas, its literally the only fic i read (and stars other works of course). i don’t have much time for recreational reading and i usually reread the osas chapters several times and then after that i spend all my free time drawing.

but i do LOVE some of the artists AUs and what not that i’ve seen. like @notherpuppet ‘s “My Deer Nanny” and sooo many others that my tired little brain can’t name off the top of my head rn 🥲

I was thinking earlier when I went to Asda how lucky and blessed and fortunate I am to live here in the UK, where life is so good, everything is set out for my convenience. Yet, there is always that lingering feeling of ‘but I’m not happy’ ‘but this is not home’ ‘this is not what I want.’ I just think what is the point of me living here if I don’t feel fulfilled?

So one of the things I got for Christmas was this handheld emulator that my dad bought me and my brother each

For me the main selling feature of it is the PS1 games, since it’s got a lot (and also that’s what most of the games are; there’s practically nothing on the Game Boy side of things), and I know from my PSTV experiences that there’s a lot of hidden gems on there

Anyways, so I decided to start playing this one game, Dewprism/Threads of Fate (it’s listed under both names), and the town music there is so beautiful, I genuinely love it. For any curious, the theme itself is just called Town from what I understand, you can find it on YouTube

I simultaneously love and hate the theme because it’s so beautiful, but because of that I just want to keep listening to it and refuse to progress in the game. Or I’ll stop playing so I can listen to it on my phone

Dragon Zuko and Azula are so soft-looking! Considering Ozai's rough appearance, I'm presuming they got that from Ursa?

Would Iroh be like his nephew and niece, or he'd be like his brother? I mean, he may be a nice person, but he's Ozai's brother, so I guess he'd be also rough in appearance

So Azula and Zuko actually look a little softer and fluffier because they’re younger. In this kind of universe, young dragons have fur until they get to a certain age. Once Zuko and Azula grow up they’ll get spikes like their mom and dad. Iroh still looks pretty rough in appearance, just from being a full grown dragon, similar to Ozai’s appearance except he’s bigger and more of a light gray color.

. The rest of my dreams today were not as fun. I had 15 dreams where I woke up in bed wearing three coats and a scarf.

for the first 8 dreams: i take my extra coats off. then i grab the final sword from under the blankets and go to the bathroom. It’s close to the bedroom, and there’s only one way in or out, so i can hole up there.

for the other seven: i don’t bother undressing. I wander outside and hover along the front garden or out into the town. I shed coats along the way, dropping them in the street as i go. I don’t drop the scarf though. I like that scarf. It’s the one __ made me back when i got kicked out of my house. even if i know it’s a dream i still don’t want to drop that scarf :)

most memorable of the 15: i get outside and it’s raining. I float down the street. pizza hut is closed but i follow a doordasher inside. I take refuge in the bathroom. Oops, this pizza hut is a front for drug trafficking! I accidentally overhear a sensitive conversation coming from the other stall.

when the gangsters realize i’m there, they open my stall. The short one tells me all the ways he can kill me: fists, pulling teeth, torture me with a drill or just shoot me. I laugh, because this is dream 12 and I know their bullets can’t hurt me unless I let them.

So i shove my way outside and walk off, they shoot me 4 or 5 times in the back, but i don’t even look at them, i just hop hop hop away to the rooftops. It has stopped raining
